The Treehouse is an architecturally designed space for 2 with a private covered balcony running down one side with views over stunning gardens & countryside. Originally a famous printmakers studio, it is now a large & comfortably furnished light filled bolthole. There are floor to ceiling windows, (with blinds) a large living area with fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a romantic ensuite bedroom. The Treehouse is ideal for a relaxing break in a secluded location, 10 mins walk to Penzance.
Orchard Flower Farm is nestled within a beautiful valley just a few minutes drive from Penzance. The building is converted from an artist’s studio where the late Master printer, Hugh Stoneman produced work with highly acclaimed artists such as Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and many others. The property itself is finished to a very high standard, including art work from the artists that originally worked in the space. With an open plan lay out, the Studio is light and airy, and with one wall comprising of floor to ceiling windows it allows uninterrupted views of the valley. With only the sounds of birdsong and water running in the stream, it is a perfect place to find peace and quiet. Guests also have full access to the 6 acres of land joined to the property and a wide range of walks in the surrounding area.
The studio is in a truly secluded position surrounded by 4 acres of wonderful Cornish gardens is located close to Penzance, the historic maritime port of Penzance, just 2 miles inland from the Cornish Coastline. St Ives, Lands End, Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach and the surfing beach of Sennen are all less than 10 mins drive away so there is plenty to see and do. West Penwith, the area of West Cornwall close to Penzance has lots of thriving and recommended, restaurants, bars and galleries to visit. Thi part of the world is well known for its stunning coastlines which are all accessible from the South West Coast Path. We also have some amazing tropical gardens. There's plenty to see and do - alternatively you can just chill with some magnificent views.
  • It was our second time in Cornwall, and after a stay in a pretty basic flat in Penzance last time we decided we wanted something a bit out of town and in nature. This place fits the bill perfectly! Easy to get to, close to everything, but hidden away down a small lane to give you a very private and very beautiful space. You wake up in the morning overlooking the trees and fields with nothing around you but nature, it's a good way to wake up! The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a short or a long stay. A big kitchen is available so it really feels like a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, and you can watch the stars from the bed or the bathtub through the skylights. We had a stubborn little cat visiting a few teams who was just the sweetest. If you don't like cats he's very easy to shoo away and won't come back.. but we couldn't resist its fluffy cheeks so gave him lots of cuddles. The host provides a plethora of tips and suggestions for things to do nearby so you're never short on ideas. Highly recommended, would visit again, 10/10

Our cozy, open-plan Cottage is the perfect couples retreat. Surrounded by lush green fields and set in the traditional granite courtyard of Hendra Farm. Woodland walks in the stunning Cornish countryside and waking up to the sound of nature will be sure to ease you into your holiday! The cottage is a charming space that has a warm homely feel, with the fire and underfloor heating. It is located just 20 minutes walk away from the heart of St Ives, away from the hustle and bustle. We accept dogs.
Come rain or shine, the cottage and it's sunny courtyard setting will no doubt create fond memories on any trip to Cornwall. With it's exposed wooden beams, high ceilings and great sense of space. We have taken care to make sure you will have everything you need for a comfortable Cornish retreat- from a fully equipped kitchen to all the local handy information you could need. Relax and unwind! I have grown up on Hendra Farm, although we don't have any animals (apart from our chickens!), we have a lot of land and space to roam about and explore, with woodlands, rope swings. The Steeple with it's 360 degree views to both coasts, in Steeple Nature Reserve is well worth a walk to. If you are looking for somewhere scenic that is a short stroll down the Cornish lanes to the town then this cottage is perfect for you. We provide towels- 2 bath towels and a hand towel- and kitchen essentials such as tea towels.
The Cottage is situated in the courtyard of Hendra Farm. There are 6 other cottages here, with 1 of them is a long let, 4 of them are holiday lets and my sister Kirsty lives in the last 1. It has a welcoming community feel, everybody is friendly and says hello whilst passing by.
  • Lovely accommodation, comfy bed and great tips. Loved it, highly recommend

  • If you are looking for a relaxing weekend get away to St Ives, studio 2 is the place to stay. It’s cosy, cute and clean. Jayce and Hannah are were very helpful hosts, very quick to respond to any queries and left us with lots of helpful recommendations for what to do and where to eat! We particularly enjoyed a walk along Porthminster beach followed by a cream tea at Porthminster cafe. We also had a lovely walk along the beach at Carbis bay. If you’re looking for delicious fish and chips then head to ‘Harbour fish & chips’ in the harbour of St Ives - worth a visit! Thank again Jayce and Hannah, we would love to come back in the future.

    Flora2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Prompt communication, fantastic and in depth recommendations that covered a range of options for us. Would definitely stay again! (And would recommend friends stay too!)

    Amy2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah & Jayce’s communication could not be faulted- always responsive, very helpful, friendly & efficient :) We stayed in one of Jayce & Hannah’s cleverly converted farm buildings- one of 6 arranged around a cosy courtyard with paving/cobbles, foliage, flowers & a mature central tree. Outside each cottage there is a bench or a little garden table & chairs- lovely peaceful place to sit. Although the yard & cottages are at the end of a narrow country lane, we found the farm easily using google maps- though we couldn’t see a sign saying ‘Hendra Farm’ on the big, old stone posts at the entrance- but it was recognisable from the air bnb photos. Parking was easy in the lane just outside the entrance- no need to pull in unless you have to carry in a lot of heavy luggage. The little cottages felt immediately welcoming with the strings of lights draped decoratively outside- & lovely lighting inside too- thoughtfully left on for the arrival of guests. So too the under floor heating which made indoors feel very homely- The warmth was very welcome as we had had a 6 hours drive in strong winds & driving rain & mostly in the dark- cup of tea/coffee very much needed on arrival- these are provided- but remember to bring a little milk (& decaf, if that’s your preference). The cottage is open plan & spacious downstairs with a good sized kitchen with a table. There’s a sofa & TV area, & WiFi connection was easy. The bathroom is downstairs, tucked near the stairs at the back, all stone tiled with loo, sink & wet room shower- with toasty under floor heating too. Lovely :) Sleeping is upstairs under the eves on a mezzanine which lies over the whole downstairs footprint. Clean, comfy & cosy with more pretty festoon lights. There is plenty of floor & cupboard space for baggage. The peaceful, countryside location is great- I imagine, especially in the summer when St Ives itself is always rammed. If you have a car, it is less than 10 mins drive to centre of St Ives- or, if you have time & there is a bus stop a little walk away. We were driving, so did not locate the bus stop- but if the weather had not been so horrendous, given the nightmare finding a park in general space in St Ives, we would have tried out the bus! Even in horrid weather in Feb (tho, admittedly, half term), sharking round & round the official car parks, waiting for someone to leave, is the most likely scenario. Once parked, the cost is relatively cheap. All in all, we loved Hannah & Jayce’s style & appreciated their intelligent organisation. They also managing other lovely places on air bnb in/near St Ives that are worth checking out :)

  • This is a lovely cosy cottage in a quiet but convenient location with parking, which is at a premium in St Ives. The underfloor heating works very well and kept us nice and warm for Christmas.

Put a log on the wood-burning stove and get cosy after a day exploring beautiful St Ives. With exposed stone walls and a beamed ceiling with skylight, this quaint Cornish cottage is a place to create a memorable holiday. Wake up to the sound of birds tweeting and breathe in the fresh Cornish air. The seating outside in the courtyard of this enchanting cottage offers a serene spot for an afternoon cup of tea.
The cottage is a lovely, cozy space that has a warm and homely feel to it, with the log burner, exposed wooden beams and underfloor heating. We have taken care to make sure you have everything you need for the perfect Cornish retreat- from a fully equipped kitchen to handy local information. I have grown up on Hendra Farm. • Lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. Cosy and comfy and very clean. It was close enough to St Ives you didn't feel out of it but far enough away that you feel like you have gotten away from it all. Would definitely reccomend. The fact it was dog friendly was a deciding factor for us and the dog loved the wood burner!

    Ellen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts :)

    Matt2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A homely, clean, cosy cottage set up in the hills above St Ives. Jayce and Hannah were the perfect hosts; detailed and speedy communication pre and during out stay. Lots of very good recommendations in and around the area; the Tinners Arms in Zennor being the highlight. The wood burner in particular was a welcome addition and really brought the place to life in the evenings. We would definitely return.

    Mark2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Despite the raging storm Ciara we have had a lovely few nights in the Barn. Its super cosy and our doggy Lola loved napping infront of the fire. Close enough to St Ives to enjoy it in the off season, but far enough to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Perfect. We needed to get hold of Jayce & Hannah and they literally called us within 5 minutes of our message. Thanks so much for our lovely little break, im sure we will be back!

  • We really enjoyed staying at the Garden Cottage. It’s charming, cosy and bijou, beautifully done up and in a wonderful location, off the beaten track. It’s close enough to St Ives to explore the town but far enough away to feel in the middle of nowhere. The walking in the area is great. Melanie is a wonderful and attentive host. The place is clean and the food and wine left for us were a lovely gesture. We’ll definitely be back.

  • A beautiful retreat, perfectly styled, cozy, comfortable, simply wonderful

    Valerie2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • A divine little love nest situated in the middle of the Cornish countryside. Hosted by the very gracious Melanie, who made our visit very special with the smallest of touches and attention to detail. This little snug getaway way was superbly kitted out, and to be able to have our dogs with us extra special. Being able to get up, throw a jacket and wellies over my PJs and walk the dogs in seconds in the heavenly Cornish countryside was a dream come true. For us the double bed was too small, to make the trip completely perfect and it has helped me realize I really need to check the bed size when booking through AirBNB. The kitchenette was amazingly equipped to cook Christmas dinner and much more! In summary you will not be disappointed.

    Heather2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an absolute gem! Melanie was super helpful from the beginning, providing us some great recommendations for food/ places to visit. The Garden Room was perfect for our five night stay with the dog! Melanie had left us some goodies for when we arrived which were a welcomed treat after a long journey. Everything has been thoughtfully considered in every room, it’s beautiful! We enjoyed many bottles of wine by the lovely fire. Amazing beaches and restaurants in the surrounding area, our favourite being The Tinners Arms for a pint. Can’t wait to return. Thanks again Mel x

The welcome pack was hugely appreciated and any questions we had were swiftly answered by Mark. We were warm and cosy by the fire watching the sea pound the pier from the living room, truly spectacular.

  • Had a lovely time staying in Porthleven. While we didn’t actually spend a huge amount of time in the house due to our hunger to explore, it was a great place to stay! Mark provided us with plenty of information in regards to the surrounding area and check-in was a breeze Will definitely look to book this place on our next visit

    Steven2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Old Stores is a delight to stay in. Quirky, original, beautifully furnished with a great sea view from the upstairs living room and downstairs kitchen. Warm in winter, with comfortable bedrooms and a lovely bathroom. The beach is two minutes away and Porthleven has an excellent and varied range of eating options in walking distance as well as a good supermarket and fishmongers. If you get the weather to eat outside we liked The Mussel Shoal which has opened on the harbour front. Mark recommended some brilliant local walks. The Old Stores is a good choice for enjoying this beautiful part of Cornwall.

    David2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at the Old Stores in mid-November and the cottage was everything we expected and more. Mark provided loads of useful information and we were greeted by a charming welcome pack. Set in the heart of Mousehole, The Lookout is a cosy space that offers everything you need for a short stay. The decor is modern and airy. The bed is raised and accessed by steps to give guests a sea view. There are lots of cushions so it can also be used as a sofa. The suite includes: Smart TV; DAB radio; wardrobe and storage; bar stools; mini fridge; toaster; crockery; kettle with tea/coffee (but no cooking facilities); large freestanding bath; separate shower; private entrance and courtyard.
This is an idyllic and peaceful retreat for two. We’ve been told by our guests that it’s a ‘real gem’, ‘perfect bolthole’ and ‘made them feel like a local’ ‘in a home from home.’ The accommodation is private and central. Please note there are no cooking facilities other than a toaster and kettle as it doesn’t have a kitchen area. The Lookout is attached to a family home in the heart of a bustling Cornish village with a beautiful harbour and beach. Its location is ideal to get to everything Mousehole has to offer including fabulous restaurants, deli, cafes and galleries.
Mousehole is a beautiful Cornish village packed full of charm. The small beach is often far warmer than the forecast as it's protected by the harbour walls. It has a wide range of high quality restaurants and cafes. As it is part of the South West Coast Path, it also makes an ideal stopping place for walkers. The village is only a short car journey from St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre, Land's End and lots of beautiful beaches. We also benefit from a fantastic bus service that runs every 30 minutes. During the winter season, the village comes to life with its fabulous Christmas lights and the procession for Tom Bowcock's Eve.

A delightful cosy cottage 400 metres from one of Cornwall's best beaches. Our family has enjoyed holidays here for 3 generations now, why not make some of your own memories in Perranuthnoe.
The staircase to the bedrooms is fairly steep, typical for a cottage, please keep this in mind if you struggle with stairs.
Perranuthnoe is a stunning village with a beautiful sandy beach. During the summer months it is patrolled by the lifeguards. The South West Coastal path goes through the village and is a lovely way to get to Marazion and St Michaels Mount. The local pub, The Victoria Arms, serves excellent food, there is The Cabin by the beach for a tasty lunch and the local craft village has art galleries, dog grooming, a café and hairdresser.
  • Great little place, so close to the beach- has everything you could need! Very clean and tidy , we had a lovely time!

    Laura2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Saraid's place is in a very special location with lots of beautiful Cornish towns a short drive away. There was plenty of space, quiet and very comfortable beds.

    Kate2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing location right next to a lovely pub, the beach, coastal walks and the place is lovely and clean, plus well kitted out.

    Ruth2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and tidy with all the bits and bobs that you require. Lovely location; metres from the pub (great grub), 5 mins from the sandy beach, coast path, and a 30 minute walk to St Michaels Mount for your culture and heritage fix. Wow - what a delight!

    Grum2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, warm and very clean. Great spot to hear the waves and take a swim or walk the coastline.

    Bret2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding little cottage. Super close to the beach and pub which is great. Lovely views and very nice home.

    Peter2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Really great location.. it really is just a few minutes walk to a lovely unspoilt beach, and handy for exploring the area.

The Salty is a beautiful contemporary refurbished barn in a spectacular coastal location with panoramic views overlooking Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount.
Situated only metres from the South West Coast Path, the Salty offers a comfortable and contemporary base from where to explore the beautiful southern coastline of Cornwall. With extensive use of natural materials, including reclaimed driftwood, the feel of the property is one of openess and simplicity. The Salty has a huge panoramic window which showcases the wonderful light that graces this part of the world in all weathers.
The property sits adjacent to a small lane which leads directly down to the South West Coast Path. There are numerous cliff walks and secluded coves within easy reach of the Salty. The award-winning Victoria Inn is a short walk across the fields (5minutes) in the nearby village of Perranuthnoe, which also hosts a beach-side café and delightful craft shops.
  • If you’re looking for a Cornish getaway then this is the place to stay! I chose the Salty because I have two dogs and it’s located perfectly to walk them down to Perranuthnoe beach. Also, as the weather in Cornwall is often unpredictable I wanted somewhere with a view so even if the weather wasn’t great I could still feel like I was in Cornwall and the view certainly didn’t disappoint. The bed is ever so comfy and the log burner adds to the cosy atmosphere in the evenings whilst you’re looking out to see. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, washing machine, oven, microwave, toaster, so is suitable for those who want cook in or those who want a quick an easy ready meal. It really is a dreamy place to live out your Cornish life fantasy.

  • Lovely conversion and beautifully furnished. Fabulous location, wonderful views and perfect for visiting the Lizard and Lands End areas. The electric underfloor heating had to be supplemented by at least one bag of logs per night in order to keep warm. Discovered there was no shaver socket, so needed an adapter.

    Vince2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a four night stay at The Salty and loved every minute of it. The accommodation was stunning with great views of St Michael’s Mount and out to sea. The bed was comfortable, the wood burner a real treat in the evening and the whole place was well equipped. We were able to step out of the front door and walk for miles or take a bus and then walk back. There are loads of places to explore nearby and great amenities, from local pubs and cafes to supermarkets a short drive away. Colin communicated quickly throughout. I highly recommend The Salty and we hope to return

    Stuart2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic place , even better than pictures suggest . The communication was great and prompt , it was easy to get in , no need to arrange to meet anyone . When we arrived we were greeted with a bottle of fizz and Cornish Brie and milk in the fridge for morning . There were logs ready to make a fire , a great start to holiday . The house is lovely , cosy and facilities are great . The bed was v comfy . The views are a knockout . The walk to the beach and fantastic local pub ( excellent food ) The Victoria is easy. I would recommend off season as beaches galleries and restaurants are lovely and empty . If you like dramatic skies and wild coastlines go ! The Tate , Hepworth and Leach are wonderful and the Cornish Seal sanctuary a must and dog friendly too . This is a great dog friendly place . Go to lots of Airbnb’s this is in our list of favourites . We will be back :)

    Charlotte2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • The location of The Salty is amazing, and it has everything you need for a comfortable trip away. The pictures do not do the view justice and we never tired of the views out to sea and across to St Michael's mount. We had a sunny mild January day and sat out on the deck watching the sun set. The coast path is right on your doorstep and we has some lovely walks without having to get into our car. We had delicious meal at the Victoria Inn, just a 10 min walk across a field (take a good torch) The only slight negative is the place wasn't as clean in places as we would have liked.

    Liz2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Salty is a magical place and has everything you could want! We are normally very fussy but this has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. So comfortable with everything you could need, and if course the view! Wow! An amazing New Year watching the fireworks and drinking Champagne! We would highly recommend!

    Jo2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a find, despite our stormy stay we really enjoyed the Salty. Everything you need for a cosy stay. Close to so many places to explore, great walks for dogs and so close to the cost.

  • Beautiful place in a stunning location with the most amazing view - didn’t want to leave! Within short driving distance of many of cornwall’s beautiful towns and beaches. Really couldn’t ask for anything more - had a lovely cosy winter break, made even better by this place (and the fire!)

IDEAL FOR HOLIDAY + BUSINESS. Up to 40% DISCOUNT for weekly/monthly long stay now available. Belgravia Loft is just a 15 min walk from the train/bus station, the Isles of Scilly Ferry Terminal & just around the corner from the cinema, theatre, shops, restaurants and galleries. We are also a gentle 15 min stroll from Jubilee outdoor pool, the harbour, two parks & the promenade. Stunning view of Mounts Bay, St Michaels Mount and Penzance harbour. We welcome singles, couples and business travellers
Your room is on the 2nd floor of this 19th century town house and is accessible through a trap door. As you enter the room you are first greeted by a stunning 180 degree view of the bay through a 3-sided box window. The size of the room is very comfortable: Floor area: 4 x 5 meters (approx) Roof height: 2.2 meters at highest point of pitched roof. Toilet and washing facilities: You have your own en-suite toilet and butler sink which are located within glass block partition walls and are accessible via cafe style swing doors. Kitchen: You also have your own kitchen area where you can prepare breakfast and packed lunches. This consists of a wooden work top, crockery/cutlery for 2 people, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Breakfast: Sadly a cooked breakfast is not available but cereal, milk, tea, coffee will be waiting for you when you arrive. Food supplies are easily accessible with a Tesco local, 2 Co-ops, a vegetable shop and an Archie Browns within a 5 minute walk of the house. Shared bathroom: Directly opposite the bottom of the stairs to your room is a spacious toilet and shower room which you are welcome to use. Fire information: We have taken the following the steps to ensure that in the unlikely event of a fire you will be as safe as possible: - Fire buckets and fire extinguishers have been installed on the first floor and in your room. - Smoke alarms have been installed on the ground floor, first floor and in your room. - The hatch door to your room has been made out of fire retardant 18mm plywood - A fire escape rope ladder has been installed in your room. Electricity: There is a £1 coin meter which supplies all the sockets in the room. This will be topped up with £5 which should be enough for your stay. However if you run out simply insert more coins and continue to enjoy your room.
Belgravia Street is a quiet, residential street even though we are very close to the centre of the town. However I feel I should point out that there is a social club further along the street opposite which stages evening events, mainly at the weekends. This means that occasionally there may be a few customers standing outside the club in the evening chatting until 10 or 11pm. The noise is minimal and can be reduced substantially by keeping the front window of your room shut.
  • Andrew and Winnies place was lovely. It is a bright loft conversion and with private kitchen and toilet. There are many nice touches like some cereal and milk and lots of leaflets about the area. It is nice and warm with an electric blanket too. Thanks for a brilliant and relaxing stay!

  • This is a very comfortable room with all amenities and a kitchenette, a beautiful view from the window, you can see St Michael's mountain, a heated bed, the owners take care of the guests, there are information magazines about Cornwall, tea, coffee and much more. Very creative friendly hosts, ready to give you the right information and help, gave the local chocolate. Very friendly and cute cat :) Very good location. I really liked this room, it is comfortable and with all the amenities, and creative people will appreciate the cute interior and cool view from the window. Stunningly

  • Lovely atmosphere, the room was cosy, unique and efficient. Would recommend to a friend, it is within walking distance to everything you need and there are lots of places to explore locally. Even in the rain, the room still kept us feeling secure, safe and warm. The host was very helpful and gave us plenty of advise on places to visit, I felt comfortable to ask questions without hesitation. Was a lovely weekend!

A recently renovated light and airy 2 bedroom seaside cottage. Perfect for summer holidays on the beach or exploring the coastal paths and all the beauty that Cornwall has to offer. 5 St Pirans cottage has a fantastic balcony where you can sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down over the sea. Originally granite cow barns, St Pirans Cottages are now a terraced row of 5 cottages sharing the large front and rear gardens.
The cottage has recently had a full makeover with two good size bedrooms that share a modern bathroom. The bathroom is a "jack and jill" meaning that it is accessed via both bedrooms. It has been fitted with a modern electronic locking system, this locks both doors at the pull of a switch giving you peace of mind that you wont have unwanted visitors. There is a large comfortable sitting room in which to relax of an evening after a long day exploring everything Cornwall has to offer.
Perranuthnoe is a wonderful village with the family friendly surf beach within walking distance (400m). During the summer months the local life guards patrol the beach giving you peace of mind for your adventurous young surfers! "The Cabin" at the top of the beach serving food all day means you don't need to go far for an ice cream or lunch. The local pub, The Victoria Inn, serves fantastic food and a warm welcome.
  • Fantastic little cottage just a short walk up the road from a stunning beach. Saraid was very responsive and made check-in super easy. The cottage was clean, had a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed for a lovely break.

  • Superb location (5 minutes to beach) - accommodation is actually undersold in terms of just how well equipped it is. There isn’t anything I could criticise, ticked all boxes.

    Nick2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of four really enjoyed our weekend stay. The renovated cottage is located in a small village about 5 minutes walk from a quiet Perranuthnoe beach. We went for a coastal walk to Prussia Cove, from the cottage it's about 1 hour walk. There is a lovely award winning pub just opposite the cottage (tip: booking a table for dinner is necessary as it's so popular!). The cottage was fully equiped with a nice large shower and comfy beds. We would certainly go back:)

    Karina2019-06-30T00:00:00Z

Budget studio room with basic kitchen facilities. Adjacent shower room/toilet. Perfect for the economic traveler. The basement is part of an old Georgian townhouse situated in the heart of Penzance. Double bed and a comfortable sofa bed. Writing desk. TV. There's also a small contained kitchen area with fridge/freezer, cooker, toaster, kettle and microwave. 10 minutes from the train station or beaches and the town's famous promenade. This is a marvellously equipped room for budget travellers.
It's an old Georgian townhouse with wisteria climbing it's walls. Down some old granite steps is the studio. It's a large room but cosy and offers good privacy and of course it's very well equipped with a basic kitchen included so you don't have to eat out every night. The house itself is charming and very homely. There is a shower room and toilet at the entrance to the studio but there is also a larger family bathroom upstairs if that is busy.

Wonderfully comfortable light & airy room in my quiet home where I also live. Awake to enchanting sea view of St Michael's Mount through French windows opening out onto spacious balcony. Continental breakfast is provided.
I am offering a place of sanctuary and retreat within my home where you can relax and unwind after a stressful time or to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The room is beautifully decorated in calming colours, with a comfortable double bed from which there is an uninterrupted view of St Michael's Mount and the surrounding bay. Plenty of storage space, a TV/DVD, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities are all available within your private room, from which you can step out onto the balcony, where you can breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set. The house is in walking distance of the beautiful ancient market town of Marazion, where you can find a post office, pubs, cafes, restaurants and art galleries. At low tide you can walk to St Michaels Mount using the causeway or take the ferry at high water, stroll across the wide expanse of beach or even take a dip in the sea. I am perfectly situated for exploring the historic town of Penzance, the fishing port of Newlyn, seaside resort of St Ives, with Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth museum, and the quaint village of Mousehole, here you can enjoy freshly cooked fish and chips sitting on the quay. Other local attractions include the spectacular open air theatre of The Minnack and Lands End, There are also many beautiful gardens and beaches to explore in the area.
Very quiet and peaceful all you will hear is the sea.....oh and the sea gulls!
  • Both me and my fiancée had a great stay here for a get away before our wedding A good base to explore not only marazion but also all the towns and beaches nearby, would definitely recommend.

  • Castle View is a wonderful base for exploring Marazion and Penzance as well as the glorious St Michael's Mount. Comfortable, clean and welcoming, the property has a lovely feel to it that helps you relax and unwind. The private parking bay was especially welcome as parking is limited in the town. There are lovely pubs and restaurants all within walking distance (if you don't mind a little walk up the hill on your way back) and the local food and entertainment is excellent. Marita is a fabulous host and very helpful and friendly, providing access to her kitchen for a lovely continental breakfast each morning. Your own bathroom next door is large, has everything you need and is spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. The bedroom has a very comfy double bed, plenty of storage space, tea and coffee facilities and a sliding double door opening onto a large patio with seating. Here you can sit and enjoy amazing views of St Michael's Mount and some fabulous sunsets and sunrises. Definitely recommended and somewhere I will be visiting again very soon.

    Rick2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • The location is stunning and your Super Host, Marita, is a very special lady whom as an experienced traveller understands how to make your stay truly memorable, Firstly, the location. Positioned above the village of Marazion (15 min stroll to the centre) there is a picture postcard view of St Michael’s Mount which can be enjoyed from both the bedroom window and the glass walled balcony. Next door is an excellent Hotel restaurant and less than 2 minutes walk the local’s Pub The Fire Station which offers great food and excellent beers. The accommodation has all the facilities you would expect in a quality hotel with a good sized private bathroom. Breakfast consists of every conceivable type of tea, cereals; fruit, toast and jams. Marita understands what her guests appreciate and delivers with her professionalism and Sicilian warmth. We look forward to our next visit.

  • The problem with being at Marita's home is that it is so wonderful and nurturing to be there i am already trying to move my schedule for next year so i can come back. She has a wonderful system to prepare us to arrive. The room and private bath and clean and bright. The view is breathtaking for me. What she offers for breakfast is thoughtful to our needs. She allows us privacy and also great conversations. The location is easily accessible to the village and the castle. Clearly highly recommended

    Catherine2019-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home, the location is perfect for a trip to the south coast of Cornwall; easy drive into Penzance (12 mins) and Marazion itself is lovely, with St Michael’s Mount on your doorstep. The view from the bedroom is amazing and Marita is very welcoming.

Amazing house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and great lounge area with stunning views of the South Cornwall Sea and St. Michael's Mount. Great coastal walkways and several beaches near by. Perfect in all seasons for all ages. Sleeps 6/7.
You'll feel like you've landed in the most beautiful mirage when you arrive. The house is airy, welcoming and has the most beautiful views - no matter the weather. With an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, everything is located on one floor for easy access for all ages (except the coolio single bed on the mezzanine in the second bedroom which is a must for teens!). It's fully equipped and towels and linens are freshly supplied for each guest.
The house is an old barn that sat on the Trebarvah Farm. This is still a working potato and cauliflower farm. There are a few converted cottages near by, but the house is very private. Beaches are a matter of minutes away with a great pub and two cafe's only 5-7 minute walk through the coastal path. The cottage sits on the South Cornwall coastal path, so you'll see not only the dramatic cliffs and ocean, but a host of birds and flora to keep you inspired with nature.
  • This is a particularly special and high quality conversion in an exceptional location. If you know Cornwall you'll love it and if you don't there can be no better introduction. Spectacular house, big but cosy and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Nice and warm even in a storm with underfloor heating and a great woodburner. Lovely outdoor space in warmer weather. If staying in winter check the main bedroom bedding has been improved. The lighting needs attention also, otherwise faultless.

  • An amazing property in an amazing location. Everything was as described and we had a fabulous stay. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather and on a couple of days it was just too bad to go out so we stayed in the accommodation all day. Our only negative feedback was the size of the TV. The screen was very small and not much bigger than a PC monitor. We didn’t go on holiday with the intention of watching TV but if you do find yourself staying in the TV would benefit from being much larger.

    Phillip2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location, stunning place to stay!

    Lesley2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Well what can we say, The Old Cartshed is perfect in every way, so perfect we stayed an extra night! Great accommodation with modern furnishings, a fab fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and what has to be the best view we have ever had from an Air BnB yet.....stunning at night too! It was not only perfect for us but was equally so for our 89 year old relative, no worrying about stairs or difficult access! The slope into the lower part of the garden was ideal for her too. We loved it so much that we all declared that we didn’t want to leave and reluctantly packed our bags, another week would have been brilliant! Have to mention how convenient it was to have such a short walk down to the beach, and we had coffee and breakfast most mornings at the cafe there. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to all our family and friends.....what’s not to love! Thanks again Kathleen! You were really accommodating and helpful, the cream tea went down a treat too! Kay, Ian & Sheila.

  • Kathleen's place is stunning, a spacious house, with everything you could need. Kathleen is a perfect host, brilliant communication and happy to answer any questions. The view is stunning, and when in bed you can hear the waves, from Perran beach. Perran beach is lovely, not too busy and great for body boarding. There are two cafes in the village, both are lovely, and The Victoria Inn, is a must, slightly pricy but so worth it. We visited St Michael's Mount, which is a must, and walked across the causeway, and got the boat back, as the tide was in. Beware of the queue for the boat, we waited 40 minutes!! Praa sands is a lovely beach too, although a bit busier than Perran. St Ives is such a lovely town, the beach looked lovely, but very busy, parking is tricky! I loved this part of Cornwall, it's definitely worth the 7 hour drive from North Hertfordshire!!

    Julie2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A stylish, well equipped, property which exceeded all of our expectations! We loved the outstanding view over Mounts Bay from sunrise to sunset....popping down to Perranuthnoe beach every day to enjoy the amazing August weather! Spotlessly clean and felt like home from home. We will be back someday soon!

  • Glorious. We had a brilliant time and loved our stay! The scones on arrival were a delight after a long trip down and the house was lovely and warm no matter the weather

Small fishing boats land their daily catch, much of which is sold in Porthleven's cafes and restaurants and the award winning Quayside fishmongers. On the Helford River sits Frenchman's Creek where Daphne du Maurier spent her honeymoon dreaming of the Cornish villages that set the scene for her novels.Helston was originally a thriving port until the river silted up over the years; where the river joins the sea is now Cornwall's largest freshwater lake. Helston is a busy market town with plenty of Victorian and Georgian architecture. The Monument is an impressive building at the end of Coinaghall Street which was built in 1834 in memory of Humphry Millet Grylls, whose actions kept open the local tin mine and saved 1200 jobs. Possibly one of the country's oldest privately owned brewery's can also be found in Coinaghall Street; The Blue Anchor was originally used as a rest house for monks and became a tavern in the 15th century. It now makes a strong local brew called Spingo. Helston is probably best known for the 'furry' or floral dance which is held every May. Flora Day kicks off with the Hal-an-Tow where St George and St Michael slay the dragon and the devil, cheered on by the locals dressed in Elizabethan costumes. The main dancing starts at midday with participants dressed in ball gowns and top hats and tails. For children of all ages there is Flambards Theme Park next to Culdrose Air Base famous for many air sea rescue missions. There are sights to be seen around Goonhilly Earth station where the large dish Arthur is now a listed building. Try your hand at riding a 2 wheeled Segway. These together with the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek provide any holidaymaker with a wealth of interesting visits.
  • A wonderful week - the barn is beautiful, fantastic rural location and great views. The barn is beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Particularly loved the huge super king bed! Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

  • We had the most wonderful week at Tom and Kath’s barn - so good we almost want to keep it to ourselves! The barn is beautifully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing week. Our hosts even left several local treats for us to enjoy upon arrival which made us feel incredibly welcome. The barn is situated in a stunning location - I never got tired of waking up to the incredible view of the coastline every day. Overall, we can’t recommend Trequean Barn enough, and we are already making plans to return next year.

Hello and a warm welcome.. Looking for a unique, rustic, quirky, tranquil and cosy getaway.. ?
Merrifield Lodge came into existence 25 years ago. Our unique family built cabin started off as a simple garden shed with the aim to use as an art studio for myself to paint in. Over the years various family members have stayed here and being part of a large family, the 'shed' gradually extended in an unusual and organic manner whereby reclaimed materials (mainly wood) were used to attach rooms to accommodate an ever growing family. Now all the family members have moved on and found a foot in the world we’ve decided to share our beloved cabin with you. Merrifield Lodge is a quirky wooden cabin with a warm, cosy and welcoming feeling, full of charm and tons of character.
The kings arms pub in the village just a short walk away that serves homemade meals throughout the day. No need to get in a car for those who enjoy walking, the location is surrounded by open fields, there are many fantastic walks in all directions.. great for Dogs! Those who are interested in historic sites the Merry Maidens stone circle is a lovely 45 minute walk across the fields too.
  • A gorgeous hideaway - perfect for a two night break away! Loved this place!!

    Jane2020-03-13T00:00:00Z

  • What a lovely place, quite quirky. Loved Claire's artwork. Nice, clean and well equipped. Was quite cold when we returned (we didn't want to waste electric leaving heaters on whilst we were out for the day) and took a little while to warm up, but was nice and cosy with all the heaters on! Never met Claire, but communication prior to departure was good.

  • Cozy, warm, fabulous location, 2 mins walk from the beach - with the best sunsets. The coastal path to St Michaels mount is a must, incredible views. Honeysuckle cottage is clean, well proportioned, thoughtful touches and a great kitchen to cook in. I would highly recommend this stay!

  • Cottage is just as shown!

    Carl2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely little cottage; warm, cosy, well equipped, it has everything you need to enjoy a stay in this friendly village. I'd recommend the pub for a quiet drink; the food looked great but I used the spacious kitchen in the cottage every night so can't comment on it from experience. Bed was very comfy and (as the info doesn't say) there is both a bath and shower also in the bathroom. Just fab.

    Sally2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a little getaway. The cosiness of the cottage, the village, the beautiful nature - I cannot recommend it enough!

    Nora2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was lovely and turned out slightly more spacious than I expected based on the pictures and description. Bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchen were all clean and well-equipped. We also appreciated the home made scones we received from Dave. I can recommend this place for anyone staying in the area.

    Beerend2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • I thought it was too good to be true when I saw, on arrival, that the cottage was just like the photo! Lovely little front courtyard to have morning coffee and read the papers, welcoming, good communication with the owner and stunning location. Perranuthnoe beach, 4 minutes walk, is ideal with pure sand beach, rock pools, cafe and toilets.....perfection.

  • We had a lovely stay. The bungalow was brilliant space which was spotless and beautifully presented. Great for getting around Cornwall and it's many beaches without having to travel too far. We arrived to a wonderful homemade chocolate cake which was very tasty and just the treat we needed after a day on the beach. Sarah was very friendly and helpful in giving us tips for the local area. We look forward to staying again later this year.

    Lucy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely bungalow perfectly situated to explore the coast lands and discover some magical isolated bays as well as a great base for longer trips. Sarah is very welcoming and the bungalow is well.apoointed with everything you could hope for. We thoroughly enjoyed cake with a fire in the cold weather and had an amazing time!

  • Chi Lowen is a fantastic bungalow, which is exactly as shown in the photographs provided. Stylish, Cornish-themed decor, immaculately presented and perfectly located to explore areas, such as Helston, Hayle, Marazion etc. Sarah & Patrick were there to greet us on arrival, as well as the delicious chocolate cake mentioned in numerous reviews. Very attentive hosts, we will definitely look to stay there again in the future. Cannot rate highly enough. Thanks again, and hope to see you soon. Dave & Michaela

  • What can we say, we use Airbnb regularly and it’s so lovely to be welcomed by such a kind owner. After a nice chat and tucking into the chocolate cake that Sara made for us, we settled in and were happy to see that everything was as advertised. Everything in this place is modern and super clean. As we were staying in February, we took advantage of the fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and all sheets were clean and smelled lovely. We had our little Jack Russel with us and she had a blast. Very convenient for beach trips and nice and quite area. Would For sure come again! Thank you Sara!! Jack, Debs and Missy

  • Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Can’t rate this place highly enough. Do not hesitate to book, it’s everything you need, & more! This bungalow was spotlessly clean, well equipped, very comfortable & warm. Lovely welcome from the friendly hosts, an incredible chocolate cake waiting for us & treats for the dog too! Private space outside front & back, which due to the weather we unfortunately didn’t use, & off road parking right outside in the drive. Well situated to explore west Cornwall, but in a very quiet area. Lovely Chinese takeaway a few minutes down the road that had our order ready within 15 mins & very friendly staff. Lots of added touches, games, info & dvds. Loved our time spent here 😊

  • So much to like about this property - it’s one of those places that feels strangely like home after just a few hours. Full of lovely touches, well thought-out spaces, amenities and artwork, the house is a perfect Penzance base from which to explore the region. To be honest, it’s the kind of place that you also just want to enjoy and relax in. Dom and Martha were super helpful (as were Martha’s parents!) - thanks for having us!

  • This is a lovely house in a quiet street. It is very well located to local shops, train and bus station. The house was exactly as described (a new sofa different from the one in the pictures), we really enjoyed the outdoor shower that was great after visiting sandy beaches. The rooms were very pleasant, especially the white one. And the kitchen had enough bits and pieces to cater for ourselves if we felt like. The hosts were really quick dealing with and issue that arises and make sure it was resolved really quickly. They were also very quick to reply to our questions and have kind gestures to us. Perfect place if you are visiting Penzance and surrounding areas.

    Maria2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Dominic‘s home is beautiful in every way, the decoration is charming with great artwork. My friend and I absolutely loved the outdoor shower! Great location very easy to get in and out of the train station in the bus station. Most places I have rented through Airbnb in England cut a lot of corners.. Like only leave you one roll of toilet paper for 4 girls for a week but not Dominic he paid attention that we would be there for six nights. I would recommend staying in this Airbnb without a doubt.

    Cody2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • My family really enjoyed a nice summer holiday at this lovely house. We will recommend it to our friends who plan to visit Penzance!

Also a lovely lounge, dining kitchen area for relaxing in the evening. We were a bit worried about the noise from the pub from other reviews but it wasn’t a problem...only a bit of noise on Saturday night. Thank you Kim for a great place at a very reasonable price, we loved it!

Dogs are allowed on the beach at all times except for one area from between the 1st of May and 30th September when they are allowed between 6pm and 8am. There is a dog friendly beach at Porth Kidney which is about 5-10 minutes drive away in Lelant.
  • Lovely Cornish house . Very warm and friendly

  • Staying with Anna was lovely! She's very warm and welcoming, as well as Ziggy the labrador, who would come and say hi as soon as we'd get back every day. Anna had lots of interesting things to say, and it felt like we weren't simply guests, but she was sharing her house with us. Also, the location is lovely, and the house has everything you could need, so it was very cosy to stay there. We're happy we went there, as it was a great experience!

  • Fantastic and friendly host, that made our stay very comfortable. Gave us local tips to places to go and see. Super clean and great facilties. only 2 problems, one is we couldn't stay longer. Two, trying to book for next year, as Anna is a popular host. Recommend booking with Anna without hesitation.

  • Anna is a warm, welcoming and helpful host. We loved our cosy room with a lovely view and super comfy bed. We felt very at home and cooked in her sweet kitchen with her home grown tomatoes. Anna lent us bikes for exploring and shared local tips. Great location too in Hayle for the shops, bus and to visit so much beauty. A great stay.

  • A really good location for access to local beaches and tourist attractions, but tucked nicely off the main road, so you get some peace and quiet. I visited in December while it was very wet and windy, not an ideal time to be staying in a static caravan, but we were still able to heat the space to a very comfortable temperature and maintain it well. Comfy beds, and pretty much everything you might need for your stay provided for you. Lovely hosts too.

***PLEASE NOTE: For the sake of the neighbours and other residents of Perranuthnoe we will not be taking bookings until Coronavirus situation is under control. To prevent extra strain on local services, in particular the already overworked NHS, we would ask anyone looking to book a holiday in the near future to please reconsider and follow the advice to stay at home. If you would like to pencil in dates for later in the year then please get in contact. Hopefully see you in happier times!!! ***
The Milk House is our spacious one bedroom self-contained holiday let. It is full of character with stunning views of St Michael's Mount in the lovely village of Perranuthnoe, Cornwall. Being right on the coastal footpath & only a 5 min walk from the beach, makes it the perfect location for couples looking for a relaxing rural holiday surrounded by great walks in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Please Note: The Milk House isn't set up for children & we can't allow dogs or other pets. The Milk House started life as a milking parlour attached to Trebarvah Barn, which has stood for around 200 years. After a sincere apology to the resident cows, we recently converted into a character one-bed holiday apartment, which is extremely spacious for 2 people. Every effort has been made to keep the unique character of the place, reusing many of the original materials and maximising the view of the iconic St Michael's Mount.
Perranuthnoe is a lovely coastal village in the west of Cornwall. It has beautiful beach, great pub & local cafes.
  • We spent our honeymoon over Christmas and New Year in the beautiful Milk house. Joe and Sophie are so nice and friendly, and we really had everything we needed. The Milk house is beautifully decorated with a great view of the St. Michaels Mount. If the opportunity would arise again, we will definitely stay there again. Everything was just perfect! Thanks a lot, Joe and Sophie!

    Sabine2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Milk House went far beyond our expectations; which is saying a lot as we fell in love with it from afar! The attention to detail and thoughtful design choices make this cottage feel like home. Everything we needed (and more!) was provided by our gracious hosts Sophie and Joe; both of whom were friendly and very helpful in answering our questions. Incredible views, lots to see and do nearby, several huge supermarkets not far away, pubs, gift shops and most impressive of all total peace and quiet. We had the best time in Cornwall and recommend The Milk House HIGHLY. We will most certainly be back.

    Andy2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a most memorable stay at Joe and Sophie's home at Perranuthnoe in Cornwall. We stayed a week and loved every minute. Their home is situated within walking distance to Perranuthnoe and beach and also very close to the Coastal Path. If you like walking, then the home is in an ideal position. The views to St. Michael's Mount and surrounding area are beautiful. The home is a converted milk barn, tastefully renovated and sparkling clean. Every appliance that is needed for a stay is available. There is a picnic table outside where we ate some meals and enjoyed the views. They had left some flowers, a bottle of sparkling wine and cookies as a welcome gift. We found the information booklet on the home and surrounding area helpful and Joe had left a detailed map of the walking tracks for us to use which was very helpful as well. Thank you Joe and Sophie for a fabulous week, we hope to be back again - a long way from Australia though!

    Anne2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect set up for two people. Clean, airy space with comfortable seating and huge bed. A large bathroom with very good shower. The location is ideal for the beach, the view of St Michael`s Mount, walking along the coast. It is quiet but by no means isolated. Two excellent beach cafes and a proper restaurant nearby in walking distance. When planning our trip by email Joe was quick and helpful in response.

    Tim2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Joe and Sophie are lovely people and great hosts. The Milk House is great, very comfortable and clean, nice atmosphere with a wonderful view. Also good proximity to the local village and Penzance. We loved our stay there.

  • The Milk House is just beautiful, second only to the stunning landscape that is its setting. It's all on one level, and is pretty massive, with a big kitchen/dining/living room. The big doors open to the stunning view of St Michael's Mount. The bedroom has a huge comfy bed and it's very dark and quiet at night. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the village and the beach (and the excellent beach cafe!), and only 15 minutes drive to Penzance which has everything else you might need.

    Michael2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and clean apartment. The best I ever stayed in. Highly recommended!

    Christian2019-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a perfect stay at the Milkhouse. It’s beautifully renovated, homely and relaxing. The views over to St Michael’s Mount and cosy wood burner were the icing on the cake. Location was brilliant, on the SW coast path, walking distance to cafes and pubs, and a short drive to St Ives. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

A delightful barn conversion set in a tranquil area of West Cornwall. This single storey barn conversion is in a quiet location yet close to Penzance and local beaches. The cottage is on one level (single step in places) and has a fully enclosed south facing garden. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and has a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, one with en suite wet room. The cottage makes an excellent base with south coast beaches 10 mins drive away and St Ives 20 mins drive.
A lovely barn conversion with exposed beams and wood burning stove. Enclosed safe garden with apple trees, vines and local wildlife. This is a perfect setting for summer and winter holidays.
The cottage is in the middle of the countryside but only a couple of miles from Penzance. Easy access to both north and south coasts.
  • Cobblestone cottage is a long barn conversion, spacious, well lit, welcoming and furnished well. Set in its own grounds, with country views, and car parking, it is private and quiet. Close to Penzance itself and nearby (about 6 mins by car) to big supermarkets. Night skies are brilliant for stargazers and we saw an astounding buzzard in nearby tree. Master bedroom with king size bed, and ensuite shower, sink and toilet, with light over mirror and power point for toothbrush or shaver. Smaller bedroom with two single beds, very comfortable and with plenty of good bedding and spare blankets. Large bathroom, with bath and plenty of towels. Kitchen well equipped and easy to function in. All on one level (apart from two separate single steps up to kitchen and to hall towards bedrooms. A small log fire burner gives the sitting room a cheering feel. Central heating radiators around the cottage are much welcomed in winter. Our hostess very thoughtfully provided some treats of scones, jam and Cornish cream, not to mention Cornish butter, and very helpfully milk in fridge and orange juice. Obviously bring your own food although there were some teabags, coffee and sugar provided too. Overall an attractive cottage and garden for a couple or a family wanting to enjoy the pleasures of Cornwall.

  • We have just returned from a very happy week staying at Cobblestone Cottage. The cottage is light, spacious, beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable and sits within the most idyllic countryside location. We were able to access some of the most wonderful areas from the doorstep on foot, by bike travelling to both the North and South coast and by short journeys in the car including Porthcurno, St Ives and Zennor. For our active family, this was a perfect setting for a wonderful week of memories. Many thanks x

  • We had a great long weekend here. So bright and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Milk in the fridge and a cream tea to get us started was fab. Pretty remote - Perfect for a quiet get away for our small family.

A bijou space in one of Marazion's traditional quaint cottages. Situated in the heart of Marazion, with garden views of the iconic St Michaels Mount. The space is perfect for those wanting to explore the area and nearby towns such as Penzance and St Ives. It's within easy walking distance to beaches, pubs, restaurants, shops, and walking routes.
This is a private 'wing' of our cottage. It's a perfect space for two people looking to relax and explore the area: Off the main street through Marazion you enter the property down granite steps and a very old cobbled path (shared with us, your hosts) and down to the private entrance stable door which leads you to your accommodation. Expect to be greeted by fresh flowers and welcome pack. Downstairs is a single cosy room with a wood burning stove, sofa, and a table with window-seat that looks out onto the garden. Full of character, there are exposed wooden beams (watch your head if you're over 6ft4!) and an exposed pointed granite wall, indicative of the age of the property - thought to be over 250 years old. There is a small and rustic-look integrated kitchenette which is adequate for basic cooking. Accompanied by an equally small fridge with token freezer compartment. There is also a microwave. The old narrow staircase leads to the bedroom and en suite. This room has vaulted ceilings with exposed A-frames and character features such as a an old fireplace and pointed walls. There is a Television (Smart and includes pre-installed Netflix app) to watch in bed and a wardrobe with hangers. There is a window seat with a window that opens out on to the garden. The en suite includes a walk in shower, toilet and basin. The property does not come with any parking, however there are plenty of options for parking nearby. Please see below.
Marazion is a fantastic historic town with lots to see and do. It's within walking distance of the iconic St Michaels Mount as well as a range of beaches, pubs, cafes and restaurants. For those who enjoy walking, there's miles of coastal paths to explore (you may even be lucky enough to spot some Dolphins) and for those who enjoy outdoor sports, there's a range of activities such as surfing, kayaking, wind surfing, and stand up paddle boarding.
  • A lovely coastal cottage, that offers a great escape in the heart of Cornwall. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove and local treats/tips left by the hosts!

    Thomas2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cosy getaway, everything that we needed for our stay! The log burner was perfect for the colder evenings and the apple juice, bread and biscuits were gobbled up! Would recommend the King's Arms pub but book as busy with locals. Will return in the warmer weather.

    Melissa2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little cottage, a short walk up the hill from the centre of Marazion. Perfect for the two of us and our German Shepard. Everything you’d need in the kitchen to do your own meals. Very clean, comfortable and stylish. Parking is a short walk away and easy to find (especially on a winter break). Stumbling distance from the pubs that all do good food (especially the Kings Head). The hosts ensured we had all the details of local places, and the welcome basket was a great touch.

    Alex2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Our second visit to this lovely cozy cottage. Storms outside but lovely and warm inside with the wood burner going! Ideal location for exploring the area and a short walk to the beach. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone!

    Lesley2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautifully designed, very cosy and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Thank you Abi and Morv for having us, we will be back!

    Emilie2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely, cosy cottage, perfect for a winter retreat by the coast. The cottage was clean and comfortable with useful and good quality amenities. Located a short walk from the village pub and restaurants. Parking was fine in February, we found a side road 5 mins walk away. A good location for exploring other areas of Cornwall.

    Gianna2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • This cosy little cottage by the sea is a perfect place to stay when visiting Cornwall. I went for a little get away from the stresses of every day life and to heal after the death of my dog. It was the perfect space for doing just that, quiet and peaceful. The walks along the coast are beautiful. The cottage is full of everything you could need with a lovely log burner to warm up the place and keep you nice and cosy. All amenities are on your door step and Abi and Morveth are so lovely, they even offered to drive me to the supermarket should I need it. I felt safe and well looked after and therefore found it very easy to relax on my own. You won’t be disappointed staying here, it’s perfect. I hope to return in the future with my partner. Thank you for a lovely stay x

  • We booked the Airbnb for a week in January and were completely happy. The apartment is well equipped, everything you need on site :-) It has a great cut, a small fireplace and many thoughtful details - as shown in the pictures. During the week we had planned a mix of hiking (along the coast) and "letting go" - this can be combined perfectly. We were provided with a nice welcome box - this is how you can get to an AirBnB apartment :-) To the place: Marazion as a starting point for activities is perfectly located, destinations in the area are quickly accessible by car, taxi (20p) and of course train / Bus reachable. Attention, in January some shops / restaurants are mostly closed (due to renovations), this should be taken into account when planning your vacation. Tips: the restaurants in Marazion were not our favorites (apart from the KingsArms), here we would rather in St. Ives e.g. the Porthminster (3 different locations) and the Gurnards Heads (very remote, great combination of hiking and eating (lunch & Dinner) but you can also take care of yourself in the AirBnb, the kitchen is well equipped. Conclusion: we were very satisfied and would come back again. Communication with Abi & Morveth was great!

I was there for a week to take a class at the Leach Pottery, so for me the location was absolutely perfect. The house is at a convenient 15 minutes walk from the center of St Ives. I had a wonderful time and I am hoping to be back next year for another stay at Jackie’s.

  • This property is brand new and very well fitted out with lots of high quality equipment and touches. Showers and beds were all very good, something that makes a big difference when you are on holiday. Even an outside hot shower for washing our dog, cleaning boots and wetsuits off. Great hosts, always there to answer questions or give advice on the area when needed, nothing was too much trouble. The location is quiet and an easy drive to both the north or south coast with lots to visit. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again if returning to this area.

My home is 3 minutes from the train/bus stations, down a less than picturesque alleyway, though very close to the sea, town; shops, restaurants, pubs. This simple room is on the ground floor; very small (2.3 x 2.1 metres), cosy and perfectly formed and next to the shared bathroom. It is a great base for being out exploring Cornwall. There's a kettle, toaster, crockery/cutlery and no other facilities. Towels are also provided. I live here with my dog and sometimes a lodger or 1-2 other guests.
My house is tucked away, with a private courtyard, though close to the sea and town. It is my home so a working and living space, not a perfect holiday home. It is often quiet, though I regularly have friends visiting, so maybe a little chaotic or peaceful. The room is tiny, which I like and the bed comfy! The bed can be set up as a king size (which takes up most of the room), or as a small single bed.
Penzance is a working cornish town by the sea. It is wonderful because it is full of creative people and surrounded by wonderful land and seascapes. It has many charity shops, lots of pubs, places to eat, the oldest seawater lido in the country and easy access to west penwith (a coastal area with wonderful moorland and sacred sites). It is also a town with poverty and lots of social problems - I hope you will love us for all of this!!
  • Rachel is a very good host, the room is as described, small but comfortable, clean and with good privacy. Location is very good walking distance to high street and marina.

  • Such a lovely and charming place to stay, the room is small but it doesn’t matter if you’re only sleeping there. There are some very cute cafes nearby that do breakfasts, and the train and bus stations are only about a 2 minute walk away. Rachel was a lovely host and made sure we were comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • The room was very small but was fine for a short stay. The room seemed nice and clean. Great location as its right on the main street with shops and places to get food. Rachel was away but the host we had was great and always in contact with us to make sure everything was ok. Perfect for anyone on a budget like we were as it was the cheapest room I could see in the area.

  • I can't imagine anyone not liking this home :-) The location is perfect, the apartment is very stylish and comfortable, with an excellent kitchen. Everything was prepared for us with great attention to detail. Phil and Chris are friendly hosts, they welcomed us with lots of useful local tips. We are very grateful!

  • This place was fantastic, better than I had expected. It is a great size with a lovely living room, comfortable bedroom, bright and clean bathroom, and a full kitchen. Chris was very responsive to my emails and texts. She met us when we arrived and when e left. While we were there, she left us bread, milk, marmalade and other food for breakfast and they were delicious. The location was great for getting into Penzance. It's a 5 minute walk into the town. She gave us some great recommendations. You must check out the Cornish cream tea at "The Front Room" and eat at The Turk's Head, the oldest pub in town. The only slight hitch is parking as their road is tight and parking is all off-street. However, both nights we stayed in Penzance we were able to snag the last parking spot on the street. This place is great value for the money. I'd recommend it highly. It was without doubt the best value/place we stayed at in our 2 week UK visit.

  • The place is really amazing! It feels like home! Plus, Chris and Phil are the perfect hosts. They will extend their services beyond what is just needed. They will make you feel like family. Plus, the house is really beautiful, posh, clean and sleek! Amazing! We almost did not want to leave.

  • We had a great time @12 It was a really nice clean and self-contained flat (Chris and Phil were upstairs if we needed them; we didn't add everything was great). It was a short walk into Penzance which was a really lovely town. The flat was an excellent size and was big enough that we could have whiled away a few hours when it rained if we had needed to.

  • I can not put into words how much myself and my partner loved this place, after being let down from Thomas cook and loosing our first holiday away we decided to book Cornwall instead. And hand on heart I’m glad we did, from the minute we booked until the minute we left we felt so happy and content. Nothing was to much trouble and you both went out your way to make sure we were ok and happy. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it’s justice, thank you so much for making us feel so welcome with all the homely touches, to the bread and jam etc you left we cannot wait to come back in the summer! Thank you for making our time in Cornwall one to remember and cherish x
