Places to stay in Perranporth
Our attractive, modern, ground floor coastal apartment, with its own decking, for one or two guests, enjoys magnificent sea views, is a stone's throw from Perranporth's wide, golden, sandy surfing beach and is very close to village amenities. It contains everything you will need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Wi-Fi throughout. Central heating. No cleaning fees. Parking to rear. The coastal footpath is just outside our front gate. You will never tire of the view; it will keep you spellbound.
If there is a one night vacancy showing on the calendar, between other bookings, please message to enquire about availability. The whole apartment is centrally heated, double glazed and has Wi-Fi throughout. I don't charge a cleaning fee and we also don't charge extra for electricity or for the central heating. Located here in glorious Perranporth, Cornwall, enjoying the most incredible far reaching views, with a landscape which is constantly changing, yet we are only a stone's throw away from the beach and everything which the village has to offer - eateries, shops, bars, pubs etc. You can walk everywhere. We have provided rattan chairs, a table, and full length loungers on the apartment's decking, where you can dine alfresco, all the while drinking in the amazing view laid out before you. Early risers can experience a Perranporth sunrise from a decking viewpoint. We even provide throws and a hot water bottle to keep you warm and toasty should you wish to sit outside when the weather turns chillier. There are windbreaks, seating and mats for the beach located in the main hall. From the decking, step through the French doors into the main living area. Here we have a large flat screen smart television with NETFLIX for our guests, DVD player with dvds, dining table and two chairs, a very comfortable leather two seater recliner sofa, coffee tables and a fully equipped kitchen area. There are ample cupboards and worktop surfaces with fridge (including a small freezer compartment), microwave, electric oven, ceramic hob, toaster and kettle. The apartment is equipped with stainless steel saucepans, Pyrex dishes, white tableware, a selection of various glasses (wine/champagne/tumblers), cutlery, place-mats, tea towels and many other sundries. We have provisioned it with fresh milk, tea, instant coffee, cafetière with ground coffee, drinking chocolate, biscuits and condiments. Dish washing, cleaning items, bin liners, J-cloths etc are kept beneath the sink. Additionally, there is an iron, ironing board, and portable clothes dryer. We have also put out binoculars, board games and playing cards and a selection of relevant books about Cornwall and paperbacks to keep you entertained. There are lots of leaflets in the apartment detailing Cornish attractions, including discount vouchers too, along with a set of tide tables so you can keep an eye on what the sea is doing. I am more than happy to drop off a daily newspaper for you as I always nip down to the village to get my own first thing in the morning. The apartment's main front door is located within this area. Walking through to the bedroom there is a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, lots of drawer space, bedside cabinets with matching lamps and a king size bed made up with a king size duvet and attractive bed linen. In addition there is a wall mounted Smart TV with DVD player (there are some DVDs in the apartment should you wish to watch them) on which the internet can also be accessed and NETFLIX for our guests. Additionally, there is a hairdryer and bedside clock radio. The fully tiled en-suite shower room, with heated towel rail, has an excellent power shower and towels (one bath and one hand towel per person) provided, along with various toiletries eg shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. We have our own private car park to the rear of the main property. Check out is at 11am but we are more than happy for guests to leave their car for a few extra hours after this time so that they can eke out their break just a little longer before their return journey. Just ask. From our apartment you can look across to the exact spot on the cliffs opposite where Winston Graham wrote the novels Ross Poldark and Demelza in the 1940's. Of course, most of the filming for the television series Poldark takes place around Cornwall, and hereabouts. The beach is famed for its wide expanse of golden sand, which is cleaned regularly throughout most of the year. It's a tremendous walk to the other end of the beach (just watch out for the incoming tide!) or to meander along the sandy dunes. It's great for surfing, with a surf school practically on the doorstep (closed during the winter months, although there are others in the village open all year round). Lifeguards patrol the beach for your safety during the busier months. Storm watching can be wild and exciting in the winter months, especially if the tides are exceptionally high, when the beach takes on a very different character. Watch all the excitement from inside without getting cold and wet outside! Access to the coastal footpath is practically on our doorstep and it's a glorious walk to St Agnes, which is about four miles away across the cliffs. Or to Holywell Bay in the other direction. The Watering Hole, located on the beach itself, is a very popular bar/restaurant to view some of our amazing sunsets over the ocean. Perranporth Golf Club, enjoying breathtaking views up and down the coast, is one of Cornwall's finest links courses and is only a 1.4 mile drive away. Perranporth Tennis Club has six grass courts and three newly resurfaced floodlit hard courts. It is open to visitors and is only a 0.5 mile walk away from us. The nearest riding stables are just under two miles from us by road. The local doctors' surgery and Boots the Chemist are extremely close, should you require their services during your stay. The bustling cathedral city of Truro is only nine miles away (try The Heron Inn overlooking the Truro River at Malpas, which is just a couple of miles drive/walk from the City centre); the famous Eden Project 26 miles and St Ives 24 miles distant (hint: drive to Lelant Saltings or St Erth then take the train right into St Ives, a very memorable scenic railway journey, albeit quite short, as driving around St Ives can be quite challenging). If you're a Doc Martin fan then why not go to Port Isaac which doubles as Portwenn in the series. We love having lunch at The Budock Vean Hotel (TR11 5LG) at Mawnan Smith, 21 miles away, followed by a walk through the beautiful grounds down to The Helford River (think Daphne du Maurier's Frenchman's Creek). Their Cornish cream afternoon teas are such a treat too: large, homemade scones, with lashings of Cornish cream and Boddington's strawberry jam, along with a selection of delicious homemade cakes. Travelling widely over the years has given us an insight into what travellers like and expect. We have, therefore, used this knowledge when setting up the apartment for our guests. However I am always very open to any suggestions to make your stay with us special and memorable. If you think we've forgotten something, therefore, please don't hesitate to let us know. We don't charge a cleaning fee either. So come and share our view with us. We guarantee you won't be disappointed. Please also see our other Airbnb listing for four people: www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/19563456. This apartment is located on the opposite side of Bay Court's main hallway
We have travelled fairly extensively over the years and we both think that the beach here at Perranporth has got to be one of the very best beaches in the world. Come and experience it for yourself.
  • Beautiful location and the apartment was ideal. Would highly recommend.

  • Our stays at Beth's apartment was lovely, the view was amazing. The apartment was clean and tidy. Beth was welcoming and on the phone if needed. Will definitely return one day.

  • The views from the deck are spectacular. Even in wintery blustery weather it was a stunning place to be. Everything we needed had been thought of. It was great.

  • We stayed at Beth's place for one night for my boyfriends birthday, on arrival their were thoughtful touches of confetti and napkins saying happy birthday and even a card. The apartment was very clean and homely it felt like we had been there forever! Lovely area and lovely hosts, we plan to go back in the future probably in the summer for a few days as it was so nice this time.

    Jemma2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Easy communication, thoughtful touches such as flowers, birthday confetti and biscuits to enjoy. Well stocked cupboards, ideal for self catering. Within easy walking distance of local shops, restaurants and beach. Perhaps the best feature is the view. Endless hours could be lost gazing out to sea.

Secluded, self contained, 1 bedroom apartment in our home by the sea. Bedroom, bathroom (shower), living area with kitchen. Living room with TV (Netflix, iPlayer ...) sofa, dinning table & chairs, kitchen (hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge & freezer.). Bathroom with shower, sink & loo. Bedroom with king size bed, wardrobes. WiFi, USB ports, Bluetooth speaker. The flat has private parking by it's own entrance (key code access). Not suitable for babies or children and we are keeping it pet free.
It's a cliff top house, overlooking the sea and beach, on the edge of the village we love, Perranporth. To get the great sea views in the photos you do need to step outside the flat and go up the stairs to the top deck, that you can use anytime. From the flat you do have a limited narrow view of the sea down the side of the house (see current photo 13), but it's worth going up the outside stairs ! From the property, walk down to the beach and Perranporth village with plenty of shops, surf schools, restaurants, pubs and cafes. OR turn left onto the coastal path. St Agnes is a bit under a 90 minute cliff top walk. Dinner and a taxi back is a great evening. The house, including the flat was completed in late 2017. We tried to take on a lot of current "eco" build ideas in that the house is well insulated (triple glazed windows, sheeps wool in the walls), and has most of the internal air continually refreshed, not from vents and gaps, but a ventilation system that gives more filtered and dehumidified fresh air into the building than a traditional property. There is some more obvious tech in that the light switches give multiple scenes, the bathroom lights are PIR sensor triggered and the blinds are on remote controls.
Droskyn headland is at the south end of Perranporth beach, at the edge of the village.
  • Rory is a lovely host! The cabin is attached to his house, a very modern ecological beauty, that has his own entrance and is connected to the main balcony showing you one of the best view in Cornwall! He made us feel at home, leaving us fresh local butter in the fridge and delivering local milk every two days in lovely little glass milk bottles. You could really taste the Cornish milk. In the house there were already coffee, tea and shortbread to start our lovely stay. The house is fully equipped with modern and new facilities and he has everything settled if you need to go around Cornwall, maps, books and himself advising you on nice spots where to go! The house has everything a couple should need for a lovely staying in Cornwall! I highly recommend Rory! Thank you!!

  • A fantastic Airbnb space. Really well thought through layout which is very practical and clean. The space is bigger than it looks in the photos. Rory is a great host. He was easy to communicate with before we arrived and had provided some nice personal touches to the space. There are sea views from the lounge down the side of the main house and we wrapped up warm to enjoy local Rattler Cyder on the beautiful balcony overlooking the sea, beach and town. We visited Perranporth when it was stormy with sunny spells and still found plenty to do locally! A really lovely place to visit.

    Mary2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely little flat in perfect surroundings. The perfect get away. Rory was super helpful with tips and made us feel at home. We will 100% be back again. Thanks again!

  • Amazing location, only a few minutes walk to the beach. Beautiful space with everything you need for a get away. The shower is ten out of ten! Rory and Sarah both very welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

    Dominic2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • A very well equipped, elegantly designed comfortable modern flat. Immaculately presented with many additional features such, streaming TV (Netflix, iPlayer etc) Bluetooth speaker, an exceptional shower, high tech insulation & ventilation that keeps one cosy in winter. (we stayed in Feb 2020 during storm Dennis!) and pleasant in summer. Beautiful view from the shared balcony a short walk outside from the flat entrance door down the side of the house & up some stairs. We were sad to leave.

    David2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I can not fault Rory’s place, it’s beautiful, clean, open, and comfortable! Great value for price, and Rory was so lovely and helpful to us! Location was great too, with amazing views.

    Megan2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay. The place was really cool and clean, and the area was much better than we expected with plenty to do. The pub tips were brilliant and we enjoyed the food. When the storm hit we had an amazing night in with plenty of entertainment. We’ll definitely be back!

  • A lovely cottage with beautiful features inside and out! The place was lovely and clean and there were small things such as teabags, coffee and sugar provided which I was very grateful for as I forgot my own teabags. Highly recommend for people wanting to shut out the world and have a cosy, relaxing stay.

  • Great cottage, renovated really well. Lovely village and pub. The host was great and we saw him on arrival. The hot tub is a lovely touch. Thank you for a nice stay!

    Harry2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in this quaint cottage with our two young children. We stayed during the winter and it was very cosy and warm. We didn’t make use of the hot tub but hope to return soon without our children where we will. The location was great for everything we wanted to do. There is a local pub and corner shop but also a Morrison’s not too far away either. We would recommend this beautiful cottage for a little get away!

    Tom2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in the property and at Newquay

  • Helpful host, lovely home. Wouldn’t suggest without a car.

    William2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Fab location, beautiful surroundings and our host was great.

    Jodie2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • I was looking for a venue large enough to accommodate my family for Christmas and the Barn was perfect. It was very cosy, warm and inviting. The property is huge with plenty of space for the children to play and the adults to relax. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking our Christmas dinner and seating sufficient for us all to be able to sit around the table and enjoy the food and company. The property is enclosed with large gates to the front which was perfect for us to let our three dogs out. There is a large back garden but we didn’t use it as with all the wet weather we’ve had we didn’t want the dogs to bring mud into the house. The property is very clean, beds were comfortable and to top it off there is a jacuzzi bath which was amazing! A thoroughly enjoyable stay, Jane is on hand for any queries but gives you total privacy and exclusive use of the Barn and parking areas for the duration of your stay.

  • Lovely place for family get together

    Allie2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, spacious house with a friendly host that gives you complete privacy. More than enough room for our group of 8, great lounge area for everyone to relax in and a big kitchen to get together in for meals. Jane sent us excellent directions and information beforehand and there's a folder with all the house info in when you arrive. Thank you for an excellent stay.

    Rob2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Jane's place. It is ideally suited for large groups and has more than enough space. The distance too Newquay is also not too large though having cars is very advisable. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would definitelyrecommend the house to anyone who wants to visit Cornwall.

    Kelly2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at this lovely studio, great location (walking distance to Perranporth beach) and a wonderful host! Definitely recommend!

    Brendan2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful find! A fabulous, bright, clean, comfy and cosy studio in a great location for exploring Cornwall. Lovely hosts and lots of thoughtful touches. I’d love to come back. Highly recommended.

    Maria2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • I think this may well be the best example of Air B&B we’ve experienced. We loved the studio from the moment we arrived. It may be small but it’s perfectly formed, the space is used very cleverly and it felt perfectly spacious for us - a couple and our baby. It was spotlessly clean and Melinda had clearly put lots of thought into making sure the space is well appointed with everything you might need, with quality furniture and fittings and some lovely extra touches too. The location is beautiful, quiet and within easy reach of many of Cornwall’s beautiful towns and beaches, it’s an ideal spot to explore from. Melinda was very welcoming from the first time we talked and she and her husband were very friendly in person. I hope we are able to return one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

    Clare2019-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean , bright and fittings are all to a high standard. We were delighted to have found it. Thank you Melinda!

    Linda2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic and beautiful place to say. The studio was beautiful and the hosts were amazing. The studio is so nicely laid out, full of light, and clean. It also had just about anything you could ever want of need while staying somewhere other than your own home. The location is perfect as well and wonderfully quiet, with a lovely pub just a short walk away. Our hosts went above and beyond for our little one, and made sure his stay (as well as ours) was comfortable and fun.

    Shea2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a very stylish, homey place to stay. The host was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved the attention to details (beers in the fridge, heated mattress pad, etc.). The kitchen is great, but we had problems with warming up a pizza as the smoke detector is right above and it started beeping every time we'd open the oven. Give my boyfriend quite a scare. So maybe eat out instead, there are some restaurants nearby! Highly recommend the place!

  • Dan’s place was everything we wanted & more. We had such a fabulous few days- it rained a lot, but it was so lovely to sit snuggled by the fire & listen to the rain on the windows. We can’t wait to return in the new year!

    Abi2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Dan - what an amazing stay at your beautiful cottage! Comfortable, clean, cosy and perfect location! Everything you could need and want for a lovely weekend away in beautiful Cornwall.

    Sehrish2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing weekend! It was so lovely to have such a homely place stocked with lots of the essentials. The beds were comfy and the evenings by the log burner so cosy. Lots of attention to detail and great location for exploring north Cornwall, We would love to Return in the summer!

    Harriet2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We were expecting a stunning place but Dan's cottage exceeded our expectations...the home is beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches and probably the best amenities/utensils (I won't spoil all the fab surprises!). Beds are so comfy it was a struggle to get up but a thoughtful 11am checkout helps! Shop, pub and chippy 2 min walk and Crantock beach a 5 min drive. This cottage retained it's cosy old feeling (some low doors!) with a nice contemporary feel, perfect for families/groups. Only suggestion I'd make is - stay for longer than 2 nights, we were pretty sad driving home!

    Becky2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay, Dan was really helpful and available if we needed anything. The location is excellent and the cottage is stunning!

    Adam2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyable stay, great communication from host who also recommended lots of places for us to go etc. Beautifully clean house and a stylish place with everything you need inside !

  • The lookout was such a beautiful space to stay in and Angela was the best host! She had left us with juice and snacks in the fridge, also the lookout has the comfiest bed ever which was exactly what we needed after a night down at the wateringhole!

    Hannah2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • The Lookout was a lovely little place to stay. Angela communicated with us really well and kept us informed of things happening in the area at the time of our stay. Everything was lovely, stylish and clean and the Lookout had everything you’d need for a stay from shampoos and bath towels to a range of cereals, fruits and yogurt for breakfast! We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

  • Really fab place! Perfect base for the night easy walk to the town and beach . Lovely warm retreat to come back to after venturing out on a cold wet evening. Bed wonderfully comfortable and the place is exceptionally clean. Had everything I needed and more! Enjoyed waking up and knowing there was food readily available really felt relaxed before taking on the coastal paths! My only wish is that I had booked another night! I was well looked after and made to feel welcome. Thanks Angela! :)

  • The Lookout was a lovely place to stay. Angela made us feel at home even before our arrival. The accommodation was lovely and easy to walk to Perranporth and the beach. The breakfast was great with a nice selection of food and there was also a choice of dairy free milk and yoghurt. It was very clean and tidy and nothing was too much for the host. I’d definitely recommend Angela’s place for a great stay and base to explore Perranporth and the surrounding area. Thank you 😊

Was lovely to see the chickens wondering around the garden too! Gordon and Jill were really friendly with lots of tips for the local area. Thanks for a fab stay

  • Great place to stay. Gordon was very helpful and responsive to our requests. For us and our 2 dogs it was the perfect place, central to travel throughout Cornwall to visit friends. The food left for breakfast was lovely and ice in the freezer for my gin was perfect. Would definitely recommend and we hope to visit again.

  • We couldn't recommend this place enough. We had a great time during our November stay. The place remained lovely, warm and cosy and was a fantastic base. The place is equipped with everything you need including secure parking outside the property.

    Liam2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay here. Biz is a fab host, the room is super clean and has everything you could possibly want. Location is brilliant, our only worry was the parking, as we have a Land Rover, but we shouldn’t have worried, got in and out fine, don’t let that put you off! We can’t thank Biz enough and will definitely be back!

    Tom2019-10-07T00:00:00Z

  • We had a lovely six nights in the Annex from the welcoming bottle of Prosecco to the home comforts of a Mira shower. Parking is a little tight, but the location is great so we did need to move the car again until we left. Thanks for being a great host.

  • When my brother inlaw found the apartment on AirBnB and it was in Perranporth we booked it straight away. It seemed almost too good to be true. There was no catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The Host friend was the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed as well as milk, tea, coffee and Prosecco. The apartment was just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was modern with a good shower. The outside seating area is south facing was excellent. The WiFi was fast and a good TV with a lot of dvd's if you needed them. We have Amazon fire stick and Netflix so it was home from home when we used the TV. Location is incredible. The parking was a little tight but gave us no problem. The door lock had been fixed and now works fine. We had a lovely holiday, one to remember.

    Paul2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • We spent 10 days in Perranporth at Surfer's Cottage. The parking is a little bit tight if you have a big car but manageable. Lots of steps inside and out and the path down to the beach is steep so if you have mobility issues this isn't the place for you. However for us, mum and 2 boys, it was perfect. Lovely big kitchen which meant we could all sit together and cook dinner and chat about our day. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had everything we needed. Lounge is cosy and comfy and bathroom clean and plenty of hot water. Bedrooms ideal and lots of storage. The location was what really made our trip. In just a few minutes you are on the beach or in the town. The surf school (Ticket to Ride) on the corner as you walk down is highly recommended, they taught both boys to surf and are so friendly and helpful. The welcome booklet provided is so helpful with lots of ideas of things to do and places to eat. We have fallen in love with Perranporth and hope to come back and stay in Surfer's Cottage again.

    Sarah2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely stay at Surfers Cottage, it is like a home away from home, so comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic location, really close to the town centre and beach. Luchie and Paul were fab hosts. Can’t fault it at all, we would most definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully be back again next year.

    Neil2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect place to stay if you are using the beach, it really is a 5min walk. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and we loved the welcome pack. We had 1 issue when we arrived but this was dealt with as soon as we reported it. I will use the cottage again and would highly recommend it.

    Karen2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find this was! Luchie was great at communication from the first message. The online brochure easy to use. Check in great. Welcome pack was really welcoming. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. The location is really good, very close to beach and all amenities. There are a lot of steps involved in this stay, both inside and outside the house and the beach is down a hill, but if you're able to walk /use stairs then it's great and soooo good to be so close to the beach and also to have your own car parking. We drove the equipment for the day down to the beach and then drove back up to the house to leave the car in the drive. Location is great. Highly recommended!

Steven's listing is very near the centre of town which was perfect as we stayed for a gig at The Watering Hole. Steven was a wonderful host, responding to all questions promptly which was helpful when planning our trip. He also recommended places to eat in town and we enjoyed a delicious Thai meal from Piran Thai. We would definitely return as it was a lovely place to stay. Thank you very much, Calli & Adam

    Ray2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very convenient as it is on the street corner of Perranporth Town centre. It is on a busy road out of the town but the double glazing means the traffic is barely noticeable. The bed is a combo of bed and sofa that is already pulled out when you arrive. I left it made up as a bed and it was comfortable to lay on and watch Sky TV which was a real Bonus! This is a great base for Newquay, St. Austell and the A30.

  • Cannot rate this accomadation highly enough. First time we have used any airbnb so we were a bit apprehensive. Needn't of worried the accomadation and location were perfect. Spotlessly clean, cosy with a modern decor and lots of personal touches to make you feel at home. A very short walk to the stunning beach and restaurants and shops. A perfect place to stay. Would highly recommend.

  • Jo and David's place was fantastic to stay for a couple of days! The location is fantastic right next to a supermarket car park or just 5 mins down the road. The high street is literally just round the corner so it is a fantastic place to stay for those who want to be centrally located in Perranporth. With an on-suite bathroom, big double bed and little kitchenette; the place is perfectly equipped and would definitely return to stay if I drop by Perranporth again! Thank you Jo & David!

Our recently refurbished, ground floor studio apartment, with its own decking, for 1-4 guests, enjoys lovely views of the golf course and dunes, is a stone's throw from Perranporth's wide, golden, sandy surfing beach and is very close to village amenities. It contains everything you will need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Wi-Fi throughout. Central heating. Parking to the front. The coastal footpath is just 5 minutes walk away and the town centre is 10 minutes down the hill.
The space has been furnished and equipped, for 1-4 guests, to ensure your stay with us is pleasurable, cosy and relaxing. There is one double bed in a loft space with access by a ladder. Think of this space as a giant bunk bed. You should be able to climb up and down the ladder for this loft space. In the main living area is one single sofa bed with a pull out single trundle bed. Use separately or put together to make one large king size bed. See photos for floorplan. All bed linens and towels are provided for you. For stays longer than 3 days we will provide fresh linens or more frequently upon request. The whole apartment is centrally heated, double glazed and has Wi-Fi throughout. I always clean to a high standard. We also don't charge extra for electricity or for the central heating. Located here in beautiful Perranporth, Cornwall, enjoying the most incredible far reaching views. We are only a stone's throw away from the beach and everything which the village has to offer - eateries, shops, bars, pubs etc. You can walk everywhere or there is a bus stand and taxi rank close by. We have provided chairs and a table on the apartment's decking, where you can dine alfresco, all the while drinking in the amazing view laid out before you. Early risers can experience a Perranporth sunrise from the deck or the sofa in the main living area. We provide body boards for your use as well. From the decking, step through the front door into the main living area. Here we have a large flat screen television, DVD player/Xbox/Sky tv, a sofa bed, side table and a small kitchenette area with kettle, toaster, and pod coffee machine. There are ample cupboards and worktop surfaces with fridge (including a small freezer compartment) The apartment is equipped with tableware, a selection of glasses, cutlery, tea towels and many other sundries. We have provisioned it with , tea, coffee pods, and sugar. Cleaning items, bin liners, etc are kept in the cupboard. There are lots of leaflets in the apartment detailing Cornish attractions, including discount vouchers too, along with a set of tide tables so you can keep an eye on what the sea is doing. The beach is famous for its 3 miles of golden sand, which is cleaned regularly throughout most of the year. It's great for surfing, with a surf school practically on the doorstep (closed during the winter months, although there are others in the village open all year round). Lifeguards patrol the beach for your safety during the busier months. The bustling cathedral city of Truro is only nine miles away (try The Heron Inn overlooking the Truro River at Malpas, which is just a couple of miles drive/walk from the City centre); the famous Eden Project 26 miles and St Ives 24 miles away.
We live in a quiet residential neighbourhood with great access to the town and beach by foot or bus. Local taxi services are great as well.
  • Brilliant location, just a few minutes from the beach. The room was stylish and modern with such clever use of the space - particularly appreciated the coffee machine and kitchenette facilities! Whitney left very clear instructions for a quick and easy check-in and we had complete privacy for the whole stay. I really appreciated our dog being allowed to join us as well! Would love to come back the next time I visit Cornwall.

    Laura-Jane2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfy and had everything we needed, communication was great, really enjoyed our stay thank you.

    Wendy2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome little find. Fun and quirky. Great TV, Xbox, and the sofa/bed is SOOO comfy! Washing facilities were beautifully clean. Enough equipment to enjoy snacks but not suitable for dinner. The room has it's own private entrance but is connected to the main house so it's not the most private place to stay, we screamed at a horror film and I'm sure the house heard it, whoops! In any event, was a lovely place to stay!

    Emma2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for stay in Perranporth.. Immaculately presented & sparkling clean & fresh.. will definitely recommend to family & friends & will book again.. 5*****

    Jem2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Whitney’s place was amazing. We travelled as a couple and found the apartment small but perfect for the 2 of us. We weren’t keen on the bunk bed so we chose to use the sofa bed downstairs and it was so comfy!! It had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The apartment is attached to the side of their house but I always felt that we were in private accommodation and that our privacy was respected. The accommodation is in a great location, 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach and shops however the walk up is a bit steep and not recommended for those with reduced mobility. Whitney did say there was a bus that went up and down the hill although we didn’t need to use it. Whitney and her husband were the perfect hosts, going above and beyond when we had some small technical issues with the shower that was fixed straight away. Their communication was super quick and helpful. We got engaged during our stay and the whole trio was just perfect. Thank you so much, next time we are in Perranporth this is where we’ll stay!

    Rachel2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Really clever designed space. Great communication. Easy check in/out. Great location

We have furnished and equipped our apartment, for one to four guests, to ensure your stay with us is pleasurable, cosy and relaxing. The whole apartment is centrally heated, double glazed and has Wi-Fi provided. I don't charge a cleaning fee and we also don't charge extra for electricity or for the central heating. We have provided rattan chairs, a table, and two full length loungers on the apartment's decking, where you can dine alfresco, all the while drinking in the ever changing view laid out before you. Early risers can experience a Perranporth sunrise from a decking viewpoint. There are windbreaks, seating and mats for the beach located in Bay Court's main hall. From the private decking, step through the French doors into the main living/dining area. Here we have a large 49" flat screen Panasonic smart television complete with active Netflix for our guests, dvd player (along with plenty of dvds), dining table and four dining chairs, a very comfortable leather three seater leather recliner sofa, two swivel chairs and coffee table. We have also put out some board games and playing cards, and a selection of reading material including relevant books about Cornwall to keep you entertained. There are lots of leaflets in the apartment detailing Cornish attractions, including discount vouchers too, along with a set of tide tables so you can keep an eye on what the sea is doing. The apartment's main front door is located within this area. An archway takes you through to the large kitchen. There are ample cupboards and worktop surfaces with undercounter fridge (including a small freezer compartment), dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, built in electric double oven, ceramic hob, large toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board. There is a breakfast bar with four bar stools. The apartment is equipped with saucepans, Pyrex dishes, white tableware, a selection of various glasses (wine/champagne/tumblers), cutlery, place-mats, tea towels and many other sundries. We have provisioned it with fresh milk, tea, instant coffee, cafetière with ground coffee, drinking chocolate, biscuits and condiments. Dish washing, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, cleaning items, bin liners, J-cloths etc are kept beneath the sink. Walking through the hall to the secondary bedroom there is a hanging alcove with plenty of hangers, lots of drawer space, bedside cabinets with matching lamps and a 4'6" double bed made up with a double duvet and attractive bed linen. Additionally, there is a hairdryer and clock/radio. Towels are provided for each guest (one hand and one bath towel pp). The main bathroom is located off the hall with a bath and separate power shower, heated towel rail, along with various toiletries eg shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. The main bedroom comprises a 4'6" double bed made up with attractive bed linen, bedside cabinets with matching lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers. It also has a hairdryer, clock/radio and towels for each guest. This bedroom has its own shower room with wc attached. The apartment's back entrance door is located at the end of the hall. So come and share our view with us. We guarantee you won't be disappointed. Please also see our other Airbnb listing for two people: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/14436169. This apartment is located on the opposite side of Bay Court's main hallway.
We have travelled fairly extensively over the years and we both think that the beach here at Perranporth has got to be one of the very best beaches in the world. Come and experience it for yourself.

  • Unfortunately I only stayed one night! I loved the way Alan and Jo welcomed me. It was really easy to find and the room was more than clean and the bed was so comfortable, I didn’t even want to get up. You can see Netflix and prime on the TV in the room, which is pretty cool. There was fresh and tasty bread and even more for breakfast. Better than any hotel!

  • Katie’s place is clean and spacious. There are lots of extra touches like blankets and additional heaters for cold days and she put out some cake and fresh flowers for our arrival which was lovely! We enjoyed being walking distance from Holywell Bay and would highly recommend a trip to Healey’s Cider Farm which is a short drive away. Would definitely recommend!

  • It was our second time we have stayed at The Pottery. This time it was with a new host, Katie. She is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The communication was fast. Katie lives in the house in front of The Pottery so she was on hand if/when we needed her. The location is superb, a quiet hamlet next to costal paths and beautiful beaches, lovely walks. But to not too far to drive to Perranporth or Newquay. There is a shop, a bakery, a pub and a fish & chip shop nearby. When the weather is warm there is the opportunity to buy freshly grown veg and eggs from houses nearby. The Pottery is compact but has everything that is needed to have a relaxing and cosy stay. The kitchen is well equipped. There are books, dvds and board games to play. Two tv's. There isn't any wifi but 4g works no problem and making calls on a mobile is possible with a good reception. The shower room is clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable. There is plenty of space to put clothing and belongings. The out door space is great to sit in the sun. I would highly recommend a stay here. It is good value and in a beautiful part of Cornwall. We really enjoyed our stay x

  • Adore this lovely cottage and its beautiful location with beautiful walks across some of national trust best countryside. Fantastic welcome to a cottage with everything I could want. It could have been a summers day on Holywell Beach. The cottage was snug and warm during the winter chilly evenings. The cottage has been tastefully decorated since my last stay and was spotlessly clean. Can’t wait for my next visit.

    Liz2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a lovely place to stay. Katie and her partner made us feel so welcome and gave us lots of good tips about things to do nearby. It was a gorgeous short walk to Hollywell the most beautiful beach and very close to the village with such a sweet bakery and great pub. The BNB itself was very clean and the had a well equipped kitchen as well as a great BBQ area. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

The bedroom is well set up and has a comfy bed, and the private bathroom is only just down the hall. It’s a really easy walk down (and back up) the hill into Perranporth and the beach. We’d stay again.

  • Michelle's cottage provided the perfect bolt hole for myself and my wife with everything considered, characterful and of the best quality. The bed and be linen were second to none and the quality of the kitchen equipment simply made me jealous. Michelle obviously cares about her guests as much as she obviously adores the cottage, with thoughtful touches and splashes of luxury and oodles of style. The stairs to the bedroom are very steep and you do need to use the rope hand rail but we soon got used to it and the extra care needed. The bathroom agin is uber stylish and the highest quality and the outdoor area, even though the weather didn't really lend itself to making full use of it, was charming. Mithian itself is lovely small hamlet with a decent country pub less than a minutes walk and St Agnes, just 2 miles away, is full of Cornish charm with easy access to the South West Coastal Path - just exceptional walking. Overall? And exceptional place to stay and well worthy of the accolades its reviews bestow.

Really nice touches in terms of decorations and also a great use of such a small space too made our stay really comfortable. We had an awful weekend in terms of weather but the cottage was very cosy and we managed to spark up the fire and chilled out with Netflix on the smart tv which was a nice touch! Bed was super comfy and the robe and slippers again another nice touch! The host made us feel at home and was on hand at all times, making sure we had everything we needed. Garden was so pretty and quaint, would love to go back in summer when we could enjoy it! Will certainly be taking some of the ideas for design features back into my own home, and may even buy some knitting needles after being inspired by the ones in the cottage! Thank you, we had a lovely stay!

  • We loved the Cottage. Warm and cosy and so easy to spend time in. Michelle goes the extra mile with the little details. Special section for our pooch with treats and welcome furry toy was a special touch. This is one Airbnb host who goes the extra mile. The village is very picturesque and the local (Miners arms) is what you would imagine a pub should be.

  • Lovely stay in this little cottage :) the stairs are very steep just as a warning. Loved all the thoughtful touches!

    Sarah2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time in this fantastic thatched cottage. The location is great, the property is beautiful and Michelle was all that we could have asked for as a host. If we get the chance, we will definitely be coming back!

  • Perfect little cottage jam packed with great modern amenities you don’t usually find in holiday rentals that make all the difference.

    Sarah2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing week over New Years in Michelle’s cottage. It had everything we needed and was perfectly situated to explore Cornwall. Would highly recommend staying

  • Lovely home from home, perfect for us and the dog to stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfy and contained everything we needed and more. Having the enclosed garden was a massive help with the dog, even more of a bonus was how sunny it was so we could sit outside and enjoy the weather! The place has beautiful countryside views and is only a short stroll into Perranporth and great (dog friendly) pub is only 5 mins away. Perranporth is also a good location for getting out and visiting other areas of Cornwall. Other good points - Speedy and friendly communication with host, car parking and good directions/easy to find.

  • Me and my dog Tilly loves staying here. Access to a garden was great for Tilly and the flat was everything I needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

    Wendy2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely clean, modern flat equipped with everything you need. Comfortable bed, large powerful shower. Garden with furniture to sit outside....even disposable barbecues provided. Lots of information re places to visit and things to do. Would highly recommend Sabine and Andy’s flat.

    Denise2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful place. This was ideal for us and our dog to spend a week away. Everything has been thought of and the place was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy and the garden a lovely little sun trap to sit outside and enjoy some peace and quiet away from the main town.

    Emma2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is an ideal location for accessing the coastal path and is within walking distance to Perranporth beach and village. We avoided the steep hill by using a public right away which although slightly overgrown in places, was ideal for walking the dog off lead and a safer route. The holiday home provides all you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday, it was very clean and decorated to a high spec, the bed was extremely comfortable. The sole use of the enclosed garden was a godsend to allow the dog to wander around safely. Sabine is a very friendly and helpful host and offered us use of the beach hut, however we did not have time to use it. The home does have a hob and microwave but no stove, however I can recommend the Bolingey Inn for dinner, it is within a 5 minute walk and dog friendly. This is a great base for accessing all of the south of Cornwall and we highly recommend.

  • If you’re looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, then look no further! Porch Cottage is cosy yet spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. Suitable for young and old, I was blown away by it. Five star hospitality is matched with a great location, and comfortable beds and sofas make for real relaxation. I cannot rate my stay here highly enough.

  • Porth cottage is a beautiful place to stay. We didn’t make the most of the amenities but there’s enough to keep the family busy if you wanted a more restful day. Kids play area, swimming pool and hot tub all on site. The cottage is great and well presented. We are a family of 4 and it accommodated us easily, the rooms are large. There are 2 steps leading to/from the hallway, my 20 month old navigated these easily but it’s something to be aware of if you have a child just learning to walk or if you have a disability. The kitchen is well laid out and the appliances work great, everything is easy to operate. Overall a great place to stay, I would definitely like to visit again!

    Carl2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing cottage! Short drive to everywhere which was great! Hot tub was a bonus too! We will definitely return!
