The Doghouse is a wonderful place to stay. Meticuously clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The accommodation is self contained and has underfloor heating, smart TV, DVD player, apple TV, Alison is a first class host. Communication was clear and prompt. A first class place to stay.

We loved The Doghouse. Small but perfectly formed, it is ideal for a couple or friends looking to escape to somewhere quiet, peaceful and homely. At night it was so lovely and tranquil, and in the day we enjoyed a walk from the door and lingering breakfasts and lunches on the patio overlooking the horses in the field. We also enjoyed cuddles with the resident cat. We didn't have a car and took all our food with us, but there are a few decent pubs within a few miles and Blenheim Palace and Oxford are close by too. Couldn't fault it!

The Doghouse was perfect for our weekend. It's light, spacious, secure and has everything that you need in every space. A few favourites for us - the massive 'L' sofa, the comfortable bed, the fridge with ice dispenser, large/great quality television (with multiple channels) and sound system plus use of the tennis court! The instructions for arrival and departure were also very clear.

The Doghouse is an immaculate, private and extremely well equipped hideaway in a beautiful part of Oxfordshire. We had a wonderful stay and wanted for nothing at all. The guest instructions are very clear and include recommendations for local restaurants and activities in the surrounding area. Everything you need for a relaxing time and perfectly placed for exploring Blenheim and the numerous charming villages of the area (if you can drag yourself away from the homely and cosy Doghouse). We booked this accommodation as we were passing through but now have a great reason to return! Fabulous.

This was my first Airbnb experience, & one that I think will be difficult to surpass. Alison was quick to respond to my initial enquiry, & all her instructions were clear & concise. The Doghouse is simply amazing, decked out with quality home comforts from floor to ceiling & surrounded by beautiful peaceful countryside. My only regret is that I only spent one night there!

We had a fabulous 3 nights at The Doghouse. It has everything you could possibly want and the hosts have thought of everything one could need. The sheets and bedding were lovely and thankfully no hollow fiber pillows in sight! We played tennis daily and it was a lovely court to play on. I think the only thing that the photos didn't show is that the Doghouse is in the garden of the hosts and is only about 20ft away from their house which I think I would like to have known, not that we saw anyone and were able to enjoy peace & quiet as we closed all the blinds on that side. We ate dinner on Friday night at The Lambs Inn which was very quaint & romantic and Saturday night found an extremely trendy fab gastropub called The Fleece. It was full, buzzing and we were extremely lucky to have got a table as we only booked that afternoon. A thoroughly enjoyable & romantic stay!

Such a lovely house in an amazing location. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet our hosts as they were away at a wedding. However the accommodation was everything we were hoping for and provided a great base for country walks. We'd highly recommend to anybody . Many thanks.

A very comfortable stay, in a clean and comfortable room, with a fantastic en suite walk in shower. Very warm and cosy. Very nice lady just left us to relax . Highly recommend , close to Witney a bustling rural Oxfordshire Town with lot of amenities.

Francesca was lovely, she greeted us on arrival & was very welcoming. Everything we needed was there & she had even gone to the effort of making a microwave accessible. The shower was AMAZING! Beautiful countryside area & wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Francesca has been a wonderful host. I have moved down to Oxford to try and find some pernament accommodation for starting a new job and Francesca has been very helpful in pointing out good areas to try. She has been very welcoming with cups of tea and nice chats. The room is delightful, very airy, spotlessly clean and homely.

We had a lovely time in New Yatt - a warm welcome and relaxed stay in the peaceful surroundings. A footpath leads straight from the house to the fields and Witney a short drive away... Francesca let us keep the room for an extra night making our stay a perfect weekend break. We are very grateful!

Exactly as described, a modern and comfortable room in a quiet corner of the countryside. Tea and kettle in the room, and a jug of milk left in the fridge downstairs was a nice touch. If you want a stroll (or a run) in the evening the lane outside the house leads through the fields and is largely traffic free. Francesca was flexible with arrival time and the directions to drive to the house were easy to follow. A short drive to Witney which was handy because I was working there for the few days I stayed.

We had a lovely stay with Francesca in her AirB&B. The room was exactly as described and was a perfect get-away. It was close to Blenheim Palace and has some really nice local pubs around. Great location for exploring the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace. After driving around the Cotswolds, we came to the conclusion that we love Witney more than the other relatively more well known towns. Check in process was flawless and thanks to Hannah's detailed instructions, we found the house very easily. Breakfast selection was good. And we received some good tips and local knowledge from Hannah and Andy about the area.

Hannah and Andy are both lovely people who were very helpful and had lots of interesting things to talk about. The room is a nice size and the bed is nice and comfortable. Their cat Bambi is very friendly and even someone like me who isn't a fan of cats could enjoy her company. The area they live in is really nice and off-road parking is a bonus! I would recommend them and their home to anyone who is looking to stay in the area.

This townhome in witney was absolutely perfect. We loved how close it was to oxford as well as nearby pubs/restaurants. Very clean, up to date, and great value!!

Katie's apartment is beautiful, in a quiet residential area just a few minutes walking distance from Witney town centre. Everything was immaculate and to a very high standard. I was able to come and go as I please, and with an earmarked parking space there was nothing for me to worry about whatsoever. The bed was really comfortable and cosy and with the provision of towels, dressing gown and slippers I felt well looked after. Katie made me feel welcome and it was perfect for my one night stopover to catch up with friends. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Katie again.

Generally speaking, it is nice room. Good transportation system near by, the room has everything you need. It is right place to choose.

We were made to feel very welcome, with some tasty treats left for us. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and exactly as the advertised. The town is beautiful, and all amenities are a minutes walk away.

My sister and i enjoyed a very happy stay at this beautiful, spacious and well appointed apartment. The welcome included a comprehensice array of teas, coffees and biscuits, we were also grateful for the complimentary wine provided. With waitrose and the historic town centre on our doorstop our stay was hassle free and with such good facilities relatively inexpensive. The one drawback was the lack of a lift as the flat was on the top floor.

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay in this apartment. everything was as described. the area and surrounding was safe and quiet. Pauline gave us very clear directions to get to the apartment. it was very close to town centre and very convenient with shops within walking distance. Pauline even prepared a surprise treat for us upon our arrival. the apartment has everything that was needed for our 4 days stay. good stay.

Excellent apartment in a great part of Witney very close to the shops and easy to get to the A40. The block was quiet in the evenings and Waitrose being just a short walk away is very handy. Nice large TV and fast internet.

Simon was an awesome host! Went out of his way by dropping us off when a taxi proved hard to come by and even had breakfast waiting for our jaded heads the next morning. Super friendly, and lovely clean house.

This was the second time we stayed at Christine's lovely flat, and we had a great time again. We would definitely recommend the flat. It's perfect for both Oxford and the Cotswolds. I loved this place! Christine made me feel very welcome, as did Arthur and Cleo the cats. The accommodation is fabulous, with a well equipped kitchen (including milk, bread, juice and croissants in the fridge), super comfy beds, beautiful gardens and surrounds, friendly sheep in the field and a pub next door with good food and a fireplace. I felt very 'at home' here, didn't want to leave, and in fact I have already talked to Christine about returning.

The place is in a quiet, lovely and charming environment. The house is clean, confortable and offers all facilities. Very easy access to Oxford without a car and a good place to visit Blenheim and the Cotswolds. We had a very nice stay.

Christine was extremely welcoming and informative about where to go in Oxford, how to get there etc which was great. The little house was in a perfect location being so close to Blenheim Palace and we drove to Eynsham, to get the bus to Oxford which was useful. The house is in a beautiful, quiet village - so peaceful! We got takeaway fish and chips from the pub next door which were very tasty and the landlord even gave us salt, vinegar and a pot of ketchup to bring back once we had finished! The beds were super comfortable and found the house to be well equipped; Christine had even provided milk, juice, jam and croissants which was lovely. Oxford itself we found amazing and definitely want to come back in the near future - would not hesitate to book Christine's house again and would recommend to anyone (and already have done to both sets of parents who want to visit Oxford). Thank you :)

Everything was absolutely perfect and super organized! We stayed there for three days, were very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. We were very impressed and would book it again - everything was perfect. The surrounding gardens were lovely, enjoyed the walk into near-by woods. Great location to visit Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, etc. Christine was a lovely host.

Christine 's cottage is just perfect!!!! Everything is very clean and tidy. The rooms are furnished with taste and the bed is very confortable! She took care of every detail...she even put fresh flowers. The check in and out has been easy and flexible. The house is in a very quiet area, surrounded by meadows but you can also find a nice pub nearby. You can reach Oxford by car in 15 minutes. We could really taste a bit of British charme and I felt like in a Jane Austen book!

We had a great stay at this fantastic cottage. Inside, the cottage is very well equipped and cosy. There is a shop and post office just across the road. The local area is very beautiful. Thoroughly recommended.

Quaint cottage in a quiet village in Oxfordshire, so if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay, this is the place for you. It was interesting to note the large structural beams running through the cottage. Melinda has done an amazing job decorating and maximising the space. Although not totally necessary it is suggested you have a car to take advantage of the neighbourhood and surrounding attractions. Highly recommended, particularly if you need a break from inner city living.

She even drove my conference file (I had carelessly left it behind in the cottage) and brought it all the way to my conference venue for me. Love staying at the cottage.

Wonderful Cotswolds cottage in a lovely, rural location. Short walk to the local pub (excellent food), local shop, bus stop and train station. Very well appointed cottage - comfy and cosy with all modern comforts (and very soft towels!) Beautiful courtyard garden with relaxing summer house. Our stay at Witt's End was nigh-on perfect. Melinda was thoughtful, efficient and accommodating and this is a lovely cottage. Beautiful wooden beams everywhere and just lovely / cosy. We even did it without a car - a train to Charlbury and then a bus to Finstock is very easy, as the stop is literally outside their house. Only tiny drawback would be bits of it you have to stoop if you're extremely tall, but other than that it's a treat and such a pretty area.

This is my second stay at the cottage and once again I am bowled over by the attention to detail that has been put into the living experience. I found that everything I needed I found either stocked neatly in a cupboard for us to use, or at times I found beautiful touches in the kitchen or bathroom or bedrooms that I didn't even know I needed till I stumbled on it. Melinda and Ramsay run a beautiful establishment that is worth the visit.

A fantastic place to stay. The cottage was equipped with everything you might need, fluffy towels, washing machine, summerhouse & a post office across the road which was well stocked. Clean and comfortable en suite room in a house on a quiet residential street. Maggie is friendly and communicative. I had a nice walk from here into and around the town, so the location is great if you want to stretch your legs. I will stay here again at some point.

My goodness. Truly one of the most lovely places I have stayed in my Airbnb journies. Maggie's house is built with much love and her room put together with great thoughtfulness. I rented one room at Pamela`s place. And i loved it and didnt want to leave :D. The house is amazing, super clean, cosy, full of small details. Its house from fairytale, together with its beautiful garden with views straight on nature or stars at night. You will not see other houses since Pamela`s house is the last one in the street (or first?:D) just pure nature. The genius loci of this place is magical and calling you to come back again. The same with Pamela. I cant imagine more helpful and easy going host. She was ready to answer 1000 questions of mine how to get to her from London by public transport and help me with anything else i needed. Although i was travelling around alone, every evening i was coming back it felt like going home. If you love meeting new interesting people, cats - there two most beautiful cats in the world and cookbooks (Pamela has endless amount of them :D) you love to meet new people, this place is a must ;).

Silvia's gorgeous little place has great views across her tranquil garden and the neighbouring paddock. The place is a great base to explore the surrounding area. Silvia was quick to respond and helped us make the most of our stay. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

We had a great two nights in he annex. Spotless and spacious. We much appreciated the drinks and snacks. A beautiful bunch of flowers welcomed us to. Sylvia is very friendly and helpful. Contact was very fast. Would love to stay again. Pub opposite, surrounded by countryside but close to Blenheim, Woodstock and Oxford. Great place.

Silvia made us feel very welcome and comfortable, she even provided a travel cot for our baby. The cost country pub across the road does a wonderful Sunday roast too!

My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay in this property. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers many pretty countryside walks. The house served as a great temporary home, and Silvia was a very welcoming host.

This accommodation and the hosts were lovely. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The area is peaceful and it was lovely to open the patio doors and sit in the garden. Siliva provided lots of lovely finishing touches and was so helpful and kind.
