  • Wonderful experience. Spacious, super clean home, beautiful garden, peaceful area and private

    Rosalie2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment that I walked through the door I was made to feel very welcome. The hostess, Sue, was charming and incredibly interesting and I enjoyed a thoroughly entertaining chat with her. The bedroom was very comfortable and what struck me the most was that everything was of a great quality; the bed, the mattress, the sheets, the duvet and especially the towels. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower/bath. The kitchen, to which I had complete access, was also spacious and the coffee and tea were of a really good quality; how rare that is to find these days! The entire house was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and there was absolutely nothing that I could fault. For me the location was a joy; a small pretty English village set right in the middle of beautiful countryside. I might add that Susan's garden was gorgeous and the lawn was absolutely immaculate! Having suffered a number of nights in the different hotels in Market Harborough it was a joy to get a good night's sleep! All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I cannot recommend Susan's airbnb highly enough.

    Chris2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect a genuine welcome from Susan into her lovely home. She's got a very down to earth, flexible and 'can do' approach to life and that's so refreshing in todays world. Having a lovely (quiet) pub just across the road is a real bonus too!

    Andrew2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous house, extremely good value for money. Susan is so friendly, I felt completely relaxed and very welcome in her home. I could not recommend enough and so grateful to find somewhere so beautiful at such an amazing price.

Being in a village location, my home is close to great walks, views, the canal, and of course The White Lion, our 'local.' It's good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers too. There are plenty of shops in Lutterworth, and high street stores in nearby Rugby. Leicester is about 30 mins down the road.
We are 5 mins by car away from Kilworth House Hotel and it's amazing outdoor theatre. The White Lion is our nearest pub which serves real ales and food, and there are many more great places to eat and drink locally. Kilworth Springs Golf Course is only 5 mins up the road. Swimming pool and leisure centre is in nearby Lutterworth.
  • Excellent BnB! We took two rooms as we were staying for a wedding nearby. V quick responses, clean tidy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and thank you !!

    Guy2019-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • David has a lovely, modern house in a quiet village with room to park your car on the driveway. We exchanged a number of messages beforehand so that I knew exactly where to find him, and on arrival I was welcomed by the family and offers of drinks to help settle in (sadly I couldn't as I only had a short time to reach the wedding I was attending). My room contained a double bed, wardrobe and TV and the spacious bathroom was just across the hall. One of my pet peeves in hotels is how hard it is to plug in an alarm near to the bed (fussy I know), but there was no such problem here. The room was bright and airy and better than I could have hoped for. I returned late without any difficulty and had a good night's sleep before taking a shower. Then I spent half an hour drinking coffee and chatting with David seated on the lawn, before leaving for home. All in all a perfect stay, and with mini eggs thrown in (though I can't promise that everyone will get them!)

  • We needed a place to stay between moving out of one home and into another. It was for two weeks. We wanted somewhere that gave us space and relaxation as well as being able to work from. We got almost instant responses from Jamie and real flexibility which was really needed for us as we were in the hands of our builders for the new home completion date. Jamie was so understanding. We were able to preview the house and it is even better in real life compared to the beautiful pictures. We stayed in room 1 which is so spacious and has a large en-suite attached. The bed was on the firm side but really comfortable - we usually have a medium mattress but this one was clearly high quality. You are allowed free run of the large reception rooms and huge garden. Breakfast was left out every morning and there was a good range of cereals, juice, breads and tea and coffee. We love our coffee and asked Jamie about a proper coffee machine. When we arrived he had sourced one for us! Now that’s hosting! So Welford is in a gorgeous part of the world and this air b&b is hard to beat. I say that spending almost every week in four star plus hotels for work and pleasure! There is simply no reason why you shouldn’t book this place! Thank you Jamie for making our stay so fabulous.

  • Salford House is a beautiful home, well located and quite cozy. Jamie made us feel comfortable and he would put out a nice spread every morning, which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Amazing place. Full of charm and character. Alison was just the most wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay!

    Joseph2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Alison was the best host we ever had. We stayed with her for a week and it felt at home. The room and the house were very nice and done to a very high standard. She made sure all the amenities are provided and welcomed us to use anything that we need. She is also an awesome person that you is kind and helpful. If you you looking for a country side getaway or simply a place to stay you won't find better. Also the the price can't be beaten. In few words best quality to price ratio.

    Ivan2018-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Alison was on hand to answer any queries and provided an excellent, clean and cosy room with lots of room for my girlfriend’s stuff as we got ready for the wedding. The shower and bathroom is excellent and Bob the dog is as friendly as they come. Alison offered excellent suggestions and the house is beautiful, tucked in a lovely, quaint East Midlands village. We had a lovely light breakfast and super coffee to get us going the next day. Trying to find an excuse to come back in the future! Well worth it and would pay loads more for the quality of room in a hotel!

    James2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • This experience was above and beyond what I would have expected from an airbnb from start to finish. With excellent communication prior, the location is a very quiet and picturesque village. The house is large, modern and comfortable with comfortable bed, clean and well decorated linen, sky tv, wireless internet- the faculties were flawless - then we have the hospitality which was akin to a 5* hotel. The host greeted me at the door, helped with the cases, and even purchased an animation movie for my daughter on sky. The host offered complementary food and drink, and offered a cooked breakfast for an additional £5 per head which was well above expectations. In all this was a flawless experience, and I would. If hesitate to revisit this peaceful home again.

All three bedrooms are ensuite and extremely spacious, with under-floor heating. All rooms are provided with a kettle, teas and coffees, a toaster and continental breakfast, as well as Wi-Fi, a television, hairdryer, fresh towels and toiletries. Free parking is also available. The house has a wonderful English country feel, with plenty of wooden beams, wooden floors, floor to ceiling windows and plenty of natural light flooding in and is set amidst farmland. The owners are a very friendly husband and wife with extensive knowledge of the area and thus able to recommend places to visit, things to do and restaurants to eat at. They are both keen horse riders and polo players and can arrange to take you for a ride on one of their horses upon request (for a small fee) They will even cook you a full English breakfast if you’d like! (this would be extra) Dogs are welcome at a £10 per night per dog charge. There is a supermarket a mile away that is open until late, the impeccable Grey Goose is only a mile away and offers exquisite British food in a delightful setting, with rave reviews on TripAdvisor. There are also plenty of English pubs to explore. The house is gated and extremely safe and is one in a hamlet of four others. While you are in our beautiful town of Lutterworth you can visit the beautiful Stanford Hall stately home and take in its exquisite grounds and drive a military tank around a WW2 bombing range at Armourgeddon. Of course, you are only a short drive from Leicester City with plenty to see and do, from the Richard III Visitor Centre to the Space Centre, Highcross Shopping Centre and the Cathedral. You can enjoy all the City has to offer from the seclusion of rural England.
The house is in Gilmorton, which is a village three miles from Lutterworth Town. It is very easily accessible, the farm is easy to find but in case guests have trouble upon arriving, they are welcome to ring one of the home owners and we will be more than happy to guide them.

  • I really enjoyed my stay (a trip for work in the local area) and would have liked to have spent more time exploring the village and countryside. Lynden and Andy run a spotlessly clean, friendly bed and breakfast in a stunning country setting with horses, pigs and sheep on site for the amusement of guests! I was definitely made to feel part of the family. I'll be back!

    James2019-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely friendly hosts who like to include their guests in things. We checked out the animals on the farm with them, but that was our choice, they certainly didn't push us to do so. We enjoyed our chats and the friendly atmosphere. Would recommend to other guests.

  • Nice room lovely farm and comfortable stay. Thanks

    Michael2019-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic night at Lynden & Andys place. I can not wait to return. The animals were happy to meet us and share an apple or two, the barn cat is the friendliest kitty youll ever meet and the pigs are always up for a good chat, the room was cosy and comfortable, breakfast was waiting for us after Lynden and I went for a horse ride! The location was perfect and It was so peaceful to wake up to just faint sheep baa-ing in the distance. Beats city life anyday. I'm already wanting to plan my next trip to stay in Shepherds Hut!

Finding the place in the dark is an interesting challenge. Potholed roads to the building were quite flooded during our stay, but the unit was still accessible. No doors on the bathrooms, but there are curtains. Overall, recommended.

  • Sarah's barn is in a fabulous location, very much off the beaten track. The barn is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. She has provided a wealth of information on the area. The scones, cream and jam were a lovely touch and very welcome!. She had provided toys, cot, bedding and toiletries for our grandson which we very much appreciated. We highly recommend the barn to everyone and would definitely return. Thank you Sarah

  • This barn has absolutely everything needed for a getaway. The owners have thought of every single detail ever needed and had a huge range of supplies from washing up liquid to dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, cutlery, games... the list could go on forever! Any time I had a question I was able to message Sarah and she always responded to me extremely quickly and nothing was too much trouble for her. We were welcomed with scones and jam waiting for us and clotted cream and milk in the fridge! Would recommend this barn to everyone! Thank you so, so much again

One of four massive double rooms in a large country farm house. It's old school and charming, but with all the mod cons. Unfortunately, this room doesn't have the en-suite - you would be sharing the large family bathroom, with roll-top bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. Lovely big garden and BBQ area. This room would suit 1, 2, or 3 people (couple with child, perhaps, as it has a large double bed and a regular sized single). You're free to use the massive country kitchen, scullery etc.
This massive old country house is in a charming village next to country pub, and only 9 miles from Market Harborough with trains to London, (1 hour), and only 4 miles from M1 J20.
South Kilworth is a tiny village, and the pub is right next door, serving really good pub grub, and great local beers. Stanford Hall is less than 2 miles away.
  • A lovely period property with large, spacious and comfy rooms, good facilities and the convenience of a nice Pub near by. Prior to arrival, excellent communications from our host Tim and a great breakfast provided by Kate. It was only the third time she had made an English breakfast. She is clearly a fast learner because it couldn't be faulted.

  • We had a great stay at the Hollies. House was lovely, clean and spacious. Tim the host was very friendly and hospitable.

We offer clean, spacious, ground-floor rooms, excellent food and a friendly welcome. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside only 5 miles from Lutterworth, M1 J20 and Magna Park. We are also close to Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. All food is locally sourced and breakfast is served with a smile. Our beautiful garden is available for guests to relax in and there is easy access to many country walks. We have two friendly cats.
You will have your own bedroom with a bathroom room just across the hallway. It is in a small annex to the main house so you will have total privacy. The rooms have television and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in a separate dining room which can also be used by guests as a lounge. All rooms look onto our beautiful gardens and you are welcome to explore them. WIFI is available throughout the house.
Peatling Parva is a rural village with a beautiful old church and a pub renowned for its Sunday carvery. There are pretty walks across the nearby fields. However, it is well located for Leicester and Market Harborough and is only a few miles from the M1 and the A14. As well as its Premiership topping football team, Leicester is famous for Richard III, its vibrant market and excellent Asian restaurants. We are also near Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground and a number of match fishing pools. For scuba divers, Stoney Cove is only 8 miles away.

    Karen2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanne made us very welcome and room and bed very comfortable. Suzanne went over and above usual host duties and was very friendly and accommodating of all our needs. A lovely vegetarian breakfast also on request. And the food in quiet pub next door was very large portions and good value.

  • We enjoyed everything about our stay with Suzanne from the tranquility of the setting to the comfort of the room and the friendliness of the cats. Suzanne was an excellent host and it was a pity that we had to move on so quickly. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

    Marc2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Ideal accommodation for an overnight stay. Well located near a super gastro pub. Suzanne cooks a great breakfast. Good value all round.

  • Suzanne, was a brilliant host, I booked approx 3 days before the stay and throughout the whole booking she stayed in contact, made me aware when she wasn’t going to be home in terms of checking in, even though I was hugely behind schedule and didn’t check in till 22:30, Suzanna was very understand. The room offered was immaculate, not a single object was out of place, I couldn’t ask for any changes to be made. Parking and directions were spot on One of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had

We have three beautiful en suite rooms available in our spacious family home, nestled within miles and miles of greenery and farms. The house is comfortable and spacious and offers exquisite views of rural middle England. Guests are welcome to explore our land, which is home to many horses, 3 Alpacas, a pig, cats and chickens. All rooms are provided with a kettle, tea and coffee and continental breakfast, as well as Wi-Fi, a television and hairdryer. Free secure parking is available.
All of our bedrooms are ensuite and extremely spacious, with under-floor heating. All rooms are provided with a kettle, tea and coffee, along with snacks. Continental Breakfast is complimentary, as well as Wi-Fi, a television, hairdryer, fresh towels and toiletries. Free secure parking is also available. The house has a wonderful English country feel, with plenty of wooden beams, wooden floors, floor to ceiling windows and plenty of natural light flooding in and is set amidst farmland. The owners are a very friendly husband and wife with extensive knowledge of the area and thus able to recommend places to visit, things to do and restaurants to eat in. They are both keen horse riders and polo players and can arrange for a small fee to take you for a ride on one of their horses upon request. There is a supermarket a mile away that is open until late, the impeccable Grey Goose is in the village and offers exquisite British food in a delightful setting, with rave reviews on TripAdvisor.
The house is just outside of a lovely village called Gilmorton, which is three miles from Lutterworth Town. It is very easily accessible, the farm is easy to find but in case guests have trouble upon arriving, they are welcome to ring one of the home owners and we will be more than happy to guide them.
  • Lynden’s hospitality was brilliant. I was looking for a home away from whilst travelling for work. The room was clean and as described, lovely shower. I will look to book again. Having the prospect of a packed lunch made for me was an unexpected touch. I was the talk of the office with many trying to pinch my delicious lunch. Can’t recommend more strongly. A definite stay again.

  • We had a fantastic stay, the room was very clean and had everything we needed. The home owner made us feel very welcome upon our arrival which is always a lovely feeling. I wish we could of made more of our stay but we were just a flying visit, definitely would look to stay here again. Genuinely lovely people who looked to make our stay a pleasant one.

  • Conveniently located for exploring, beautiful walks surrounding and quick to get to local amenities. Lynden was a great host with thoughtful touches in the bedroom and a lovely breakfast provided as a pack up for us for our early start each morning. Thank you!

  • Lovely farm setting, great hosts and plenty of things to do and see nearby :)

    Karl2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Just wow! Having read the reviews I knew that our stay would be good but the reviews really don’t do it justice it deserves! We were greeted by the lovely Lynden and showed to our incredible room! This converted barn is just stunning and our en-suite room was even more stunning!!!! Stocked with snacks and tea and coffee it was just perfect for our one night stay. Sadly we never got to see the animals on the farm (except their amazing dog) but we will next time! We woke up the next morning and Lynden had made a surprise lunch box and breakfast! We were blown away. Lynden and Alan are perfect hosts and their home and accommodation is just AMAZING! My fiancé and I are already planning a weekend escape there at some point for some well needed R&R! Thank you to you both for having us and being such amazing hosts! See you soon! Jen & Mark xxx

  • Could not recommend this place enough. The photos do not do this place justice. Very comfortable hut, which even in cold February was warm and cosy! Great hosts who couldn’t do enough for you! Highly recommend!

  • Absolute gem of a place! One night wasn't enough... We'll be back for a few days soon!

    Mark2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the place. Was great for some Dad and lad time, my 11 year old loved the animals and feeding them with Andy, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We spent just one night but were allowed to arrive early, which was nice to have been offered. We spent our time sat in and playing cards and games, which is something we never do, so it made a nice change. It's really cosy inside with the log burner going and we couldn't use the fire pit due to the weather (hardly surprising as we did stay in February),so we heated food up on top of the log burner which worked a treat. The bed is comfy and there was lots of really nice extra touches. Tea, coffee, marshmallows, ketchup...the list goes on. A great place to stay and detach from reality. Would love to come back in the Spring or Summer too.

Greylag is a luxury heated lakeside cabin, designed and built on our farm. Curl up under a cosy throw on the super comfortable double bed (400 thread count sheets), or choose from seating areas inside, on the deck overlooking the lake, or by the fire pit with its inbuilt barbecue. Browse the internet using our fast broadband. Your own luxury shower room and toilet is a short walk away. As well as Greylag we have another cabin, Mallard (also on Airbnb).
Isolation in beautiful countryside in the heart of England. We have stripped our cabins down to the essentials, so you can relax and savour the beauty of the natural surroundings. We won't interrupt. The nearest railway station is Market Harborough, less than an hour from London St Pancras and four miles from the farm. Taxi fare from the station is under £10. Our farm lies in an historic area, near to the site of the Battle of Naseby. There is lots to see within a short drive, and the Jurassic Way footpath cuts through the farm. Greylag is an ecological cabin, fully insulated, with heat and hot water solar powered (with electrical back up). Tea and coffee and cool box are provided but you'll need to bring all your own food, or drive to nearby pubs and restaurants to eat. The multi award winning farm shop cafe 'Farndon Fields' (farm shop restaurant of the year 2016) is a short drive away. Drinking water is available from a tap by the front door. You can BBQ on your own fire pit (the only cooking facility). Logs from our own woodland can be purchased on site.
The Welland Valley is great for outdoor activities, e.g. walking, cycling, gliding, fishing and bird watching. The unspoilt countryside is rich in historic sites, country houses, local food & drink producers and picturesque towns.
  • What a fantastic find. Myself and my husband stayed here over new year, it’s absolutely brilliant. Chris was incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The location is brilliant, very nice surroundings, plenty of places to go walking. The location around the cabin is beautiful as well. Toilets are in a separate unit which is a 30 second walk away. Really nicely done out. The shower is amazing. I can’t recommend highly enough. We will absolutely be back!

  • Perfect for a relaxing weekend away, such a peaceful location. Chris was great, he was ready to meet us and show us around when we arrived, had the barbecue all set up for us and gave us some tips about local shops and restaurants. He left us to it but was very quick to respond to any questions we had, definitely will be going back!

    Alex2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was absolutely amazing! Beautiful views, calming surroundings, and a comfortable space to enjoy it all. Thank you to Chris, Charlotte, and Patrick for making our stay so incredible.

    Teresa2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Just back from a 2 night stay in Greylag. Everything was perfect and well thought out. From the decor in the cabin to the warm inviting private bathroom. Both Chris and his family made our stay relaxing and were very accommodating with any needs we had. The area around the cabins is stunning and we took a couple of walks to explore. The fire pit/BBQ were perfect for lazy evenings by the lake and our afternoons were spent on the veranda watching the fish and ducks play in the lake. All in all the perfect weekend getaway. We would definitely return again in a heart beat.

    Chris2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a fantastic get away at this unique and peaceful cabin. Everything rated 5 star. Chris was a fantastic host, helpful yet private. We can not wait to get back to the cabin for another restful get-away.

    Annelien2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible little getaway! Such a cosy, calming and relaxing cabin over the water. Could sit there for hours watching the birds and carps in the water. Great city escape. The fire pit was a dream and we had wonderful BBQ’s on it with food from Farndon Fields farm shop, which is also a lovely place to grab lunch. The place is totally spotless and the bathroom is modern, only 30 sec walk - it’s so private is doesn’t matter at all. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Chris did everything to accommodate us and is a great guy. We’ll be back soon!

  • We stayed here for about a month, and really enjoyed it! Shawell is a nice little village, and it was a perfect location for us as our friends live there (and now a lot of new friends also!). It's also easy enough to drive into Lutterworth, Rugby, or Market Harborough for shopping and restaurants. But also great being able to walk to the White Swan for a pint or a nice dinner. We liked the place itself as well. The under-floor heat upstairs made the lounge nice and cozy in the cold January weather. We appreciated having breakfast food to get us started when we arrived, and we were glad to have the cookware and dishes we needed to be able to make our own meals most of the time. The internet was good enough for my remote work, though not quite good enough for video conference calls (but it IS a small village, so not unexpected).

    Sandy2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed for 3 months while on a work trip in UK. The location was great for me as it was central and easy to get to the M1/M6 and everywhere I needed to go for work. Accommodation was perfect. I had loads of space to spread out and had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend!

You can BBQ on your own fire pit (the only cooking facilities). Logs from our woodland can be purchased on site.
The Welland Valley is great for outdoor activities, e.g. walking, cycling, gliding, fishing and bird watching. The unspoilt countryside is rich in historic sites, country houses, local food & drink producers and picturesque towns.
  • We had a great time, the place is better in reality! Good quality lodge and stylish bathroom with shower, the place has everything you need, comfy bed, tea and cofee in the morning, bbq, peace and nature, fishing in the pond from your private porch etc. Overall, highly recommended! Chris has been great to us, he is a great host! Thank you again

  • An amazing private space, it’s so much more than the cabin. I would wholeheartedly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a break away from busy. Enough remoteness whilst close enough to Market Harborough.

    Sam2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • A fantasic, relaxing break. Chris was a superb host, and the cabin itself just as idyllic as the photos suggest. Cannot recommend strongly enough.

    Gareth2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Just a wonderful place to stay. Location was fantastic, the hospitality from Chris was warm and welcoming and he couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. The place is everything we needed for a stress free getaway. The cabin was warm and cosy and spotless. The shower block was great, perfect mix of being out in nature yet with modern comforts. The fire outside was great in the evenings and was just what was needed for bacon sarnies in the morning. Will definitely stay again

    Simon2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Had the best peaceful time! Comfortable stay, picturesque views, cosy by the fire, which was used to cook delicious meals and to keep warm! Bring a bottle of wine along with your favourite BBQ food and you're settled! Will return!

    Rafaela2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect chilled get away. This was a minimoon for myself and my husband and after the stress of a wedding it was exactly what we needed. The lodge is basic but beautiful with everything you need, only note If your planning on bbqing on the fire pit, don’t forget utensils and plates/cutlery, saying that we had great fun doing it with two tea spoons. Chris is lovely, so friendly and helpful, his fire building tips were much needed. The local recommendations are fab, definitely check out the farm shop/restaurant. Will be back. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.

    Jasmine2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Mallard Cabin is a lovely little place made extra special by Chris’ incredible hospitality! A secluded cabin nestled in nature + a modern bathroom facility offers the best of both worlds. The cabin has everything you need (including the comfiest bed!) and Chris left us with loads of excellent local recommendations including a fantastic farm shop and some great walks on the property. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

    Lauren2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Just want to say thank you to Chris for being extremely hospitable, the cabin was beautiful and clean. Everything you needed for a stay was provided and available, it was perfect! The given recommendations were spot on, especially the farm shop. Would love to return back one day.

Our property is situated on a quiet street in Lutterworth and the room is positioned at the back of the property. You will be able to park your car outside and we have space to keep any bikes in the garden. Although this room is best as a single, it can accommodate a double booking.
We have a unique family home that has been described as an oasis of tranquillity. I rather think it provides a cuddle to a weary traveller. You can have as little or much interaction with us as you wish. There are plenty of bookshelves in the communal areas which, during your stay, you are more than welcome to read.
Lutterworth is a small Midlands Market Town with plenty of restaurants, country pubs & local amenities. The sports centre and swimming pool is a 5 min walk away. Within a 10 minute walk, you can be immersed in the Leicestershire countryside. We are 20 minutes from Market Harborough & Rugby. Leicester is about 30 minutes away.
  • Very nice stay, warm host. Comfortable bed, clean toilet. Elegant courtyard

  • Great communication from Louise. The house is spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. Parking is on-road but not an issue. The room was quiet and peaceful and the seperate bathroom, like the bedroom, clean and fresh. Only stopped one night with an earlyish start so didn't get to sample breakfast but have no doubts it would have met expectations. Would definitely stop again.

Traditional English Country Farmhouse. Understated luxury and comfort. This is a working farm with its own lake and beautiful views. Many interesting walks nearby. We would be delighted to serve you a traditional English breakfast at extra cost in the family dining room. We have two friendly farm dogs, who are not allowed upstairs.
Approximately 4 miles from Junction 20 on the M1 and Junction 1 on the M6 at Rugby. Just over 8 miles to the picturesque town of Market Harborough with shops, the famous Garage Bakery and plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Located nearby in the farm buildings there is also a wonderful beauty Salon for the ultimate in pampering. There is a local pub 2 mins walk away that serves good pub food. Kilworth Springs Golf Club is located in the village.
  • Great host who made us feel very welcome and relaxed. The rooms were lovely and our breakfast was delicious. This was our first experience of air bnb and Victoria has set a high standard.

Here at the Cian House we enjoy life. Peace, quiet and relaxation. Watch a Netflix movie before going to bed, or play a board game with me and my fiancee. In the morning, enjoy your coffee, which is on the house, in the garden, fresh air, green grass and hopefully nice blue sky. Barbecue grill is available for you to use if need be, but don't forget to share a slice.
1 x Double room. 1 x shared living room with dining area (shared). 1 x service toilet (shared). 1 x main bathroom with bathtub (shared). 1 x kitchen (shared). 1 x garden with barbecue (shared).

The flat was recently completed to a high standard. It is centrally located in a village with views from the kitchen to the churchyard and from the bedroom to garden and fields beyond. Access is via a garage below where bikes or any other bulky items can be securely stored. Market Harborough is a 10 minute drive as is J20 of the M1 at Lutterworth. Kilworth House is 5 minutes away. Whilst there are no shops in the village they are within easy reach. There is an excellent pub in the village.

  • Beautiful clean and modern one-bedroom loft flat in quiet country village. Nice and private as loft is above a garage adjacent to the house and has lovely views to both the front (the church) and back (open fields). Very welcoming hosts, happy to help you with anything but also happy to leave you to it! Considerate thought to provide basics for tea/coffee/breakfast for the weary traveller! Highly recommended.

    Iain2018-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • WHAT A FIND! This is by far the BEST Air BnB I have ever stayed in. The hosts met me on arrival and showed me around (along with how the hydro pool and gym worked). They offered me suggestions on local places to eat and drink (and golf courses). The flat itself is brand new, spotless and homely. With cooking hobs / oven / fridge / power shower / and one big comfy bed. The flat also came with towels and everything I needed for cooking and eating. The hosts themselves took time to chat with me, and made it feel like a home away from home. This is a rare find in the area, with lovely walks/runs and close to where I was working. I would not hesitate to recommend this place for business or personal use. See you in a few weeks when I stay again. P.S - The biscuit bin and fridge where also stocked up! The little extra's really made this feel like a relaxing week away on business for once..

The accommodation was sparkling clean, all modern and updated, a full kitchen, 3 tv’s, boardgames, and just an overall a quaint cozy home to supply all you need for a great getaway.

  • An excellent place to stay, run with great attention to detail - First class amenities, in tip-top condition - Very quiet - Good beds, pillows and bath, shower - Comfy sofas - Games and books - A great location, on a small estate in gorgeous surroundings - Good communication and flexibility

  • We had a lovely, albeit short stay at Josie’s place. A beautiful space, perfect for 4 girls catching up on the way to a wedding. Thoughtful personal touches like wine and tea made us feel even more welcome. Signal and internet were a little precarious so just something to consider for those wanting to remain totally connected to the outside world, but for us it was lovely for a peaceful break away from the chaos of London.

    Sadie2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Josette and Helen's place is beautiful and peaceful. It is only 10min away from Marston Lodge where Spartan Race takes place so it was perfect for us. The place is really taken care of and I would love to be back for longer. The place has anything you could wish for to stay longer. Fully equipped kitchen and home feeling. We were given all directions we needed to Marston Lodge and local town and we had a really good time. Thank you.

  • A little tight on space in the bedroom with bags etc, when traveling on a 6 week holiday. Unfortunately we had no WiFi as advertised, which could only be repaired long after we left. When traveling from abroad, full time WiFi is essential. Otherwise a lovely stay and Josette went out of her way to make our stay a great one. Thanks Josette.

  • This is one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever stayed in, and definitely one of the best Air BnBs I've ever visited. The property is spacious, well laid out, and absolutely gorgeous. It was spotless, with amenities that worked perfectly - nothing janky or that required macgyvering. We really appreciated that the property is eco friendly. It feels amazing to be out in nature and know that your presence is kind to the planet. And the surroundings are wonderful - the horizon goes on forever. Amazing to stand on the porch and look out over the fields. Utterly isolated apart from the neighbouring cabin. Highlights: hot tub was easy to use and very much enjoyed. Big shower that was very pleasurable to use, and cute toiletries in dispensers. Huge sofa big enough for us all to relax on, with throws and blankets for being cosy. Attention to detail was impeccable. Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with a comprehensive array of utensils, saucepans, mixing bowl, roasting dishes, etc. Wine and homemade shortbread in the kitchen for us to enjoy. Overall a blissful experience. I sincerely hope to return.

We have three beautiful ensuite rooms available in our spacious family home, nestled amongst miles and miles of greenery and farms. The house is comfortable and spacious and offers exquisite views of rural middle England. Guests are welcome to explore our beautiful grounds, which are home to horses, alpacas, a pig, a cat, chickens, lambs and cows. All rooms are provided with a kettle, teas and coffees, snacks, fruit and cereals, as well as Wi-Fi, a television and hairdryer. Free Parking.
All three bedrooms are ensuite and extremely spacious, with under-floor heating. All rooms are provided with a kettle, teas and coffees, a toaster and snacks, fruit and cereals, as well as Wi-Fi, a television, hairdryer, fresh towels and toiletries. They are both keen horse riders and polo players and can arrange to take you for a ride on one of their horses upon request. They will even cook you a full English breakfast if you’d like (additional cost) ! There is a supermarket a mile away that is open until late, the impeccable Grey Goose is also in the same village and offers an array of exquisite British food in a delightful setting, with rave reviews on TripAdvisor. There are also plenty of English pubs to explore. The house is gated and extremely safe and is one in a hamlet of four others. We are on the doorstep of the beautiful market town of Lutterworth, famous for the building of the jet engine and John Wycliffe who is renouned for translating the bible from Latin to English in the 14th century. Nearby you can visit the beautiful Stanford Hall stately home and take in its exquisite grounds and drive a military tank around a WW2 bombing range at Armourgeddon.
  • Perfect location, lovely room and facilities. Lynden assistant Karen was on duty and so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. We will be back.

  • Check in was faultless and the room / facilities were better than expected. Upgraded to a four poster bed room and even had a packed lunch waiting for me this morning!

This is one of our massive double rooms, the one with a huge en-suite with loo, wash basin, shower and massive roll top bath, in a large country farm house. It's old school and charming, but with all the mod cons. Lovely big garden and BBQ area. In a charming village next to country pub, and only 9 miles from town with trains to London, and only 4 miles from M1 J20. The room would suit 1, 2, or 3 people (couple with child, perhaps, as there is a large double bed and a regular sized single.)
As well as the massive bedrooms, you will be free to use the big country kitchen. Help yourself to the microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, etc. The fridge is stocked with juice, yoghurts, fresh bread etc, for you to help yourself, as well as tea and coffee of course.
Very peaceful village with brilliant friendly (quiet!) pub next door, doing great pub food.
  • Tim is a very lovely host & the room Was just what we needed! The house is clean and there was everything there you could need.

This is one of four massive double rooms in a large country farmhouse. It’s old school and charming, but with most of the mod cons! Unfortunately, this is not the room with the ensuite bathroom – you would be sharing the large family bathroom with a roll top bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. There is a lovely big garden and courtyard with a barbecue area. The room would suit one or two people – there is a large European sized double bed. You are free to use the massive country kitchen.
As well as your bedroom and the shared bathroom, you are free to use the snug area in the attic which has a large sofa and excellent Wi-Fi connectivity because the router is there! You will also have the use of the large country kitchen, where you can have your breakfast, and help yourself to cereals, tea and coffee. And the scullery area which has a fridge for you to help yourself to fruit juice, bread, yoghurts, etc.
  • Tim's hospitality was second to none, we felt very at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was very comfortable and the location was perfect for our requirements. Tim is personally undertaking a massive refurb (which, at the time of our stay, he is in the middle of). None of this affected our stay and whilst there is still some room for improvement in certain areas, Tim's enthusiasm and interest in his guests is lovely. Nothing was too much trouble.

  • A most amazing place of great history as it was a farmhouse and then a bakery. I love the farmhouse feel of the kitchen! Bedrooms are clean roomy comfortable Plenty of storage Garden is so nice to be in and the outdoor wood burning stove. Tim is caring considerate and nothing is too much trouble! I love this place and will return.

  • I went to Lutterworth for work, and the location of Tim & Vivi’s place was perfect. The room was clean, warm and spacious. There is a pub right next door too! This is not a negative, but Tim & Vivi have several rooms and rooms 2 & 3 are right at the top. I stayed in Room 2 and had to go downstairs for the toilet, which I didn’t mind. But if you are not good with stairs, I’d contact the host. If I ever need to go back to Lutterworth again, I would definitely go back.

  • Peaceful. Stylish. Great value for money. A friendly pub next door. Lovely stay

    Zoe2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very welcoming host with such a beautiful home. Tim was kind and friendly (I believe waiting for his wife to come and join him in England). Knowledgable and helpful with regard to the local area. Clean comfy rooms with lots of quaint period features throughout. Got a great nights sleep and we had a lovely chat with Tim over breakfast. Just what we wanted and more. Lucy and Stu :)

The Park House is part of The Stable House (our family home), a Victorian stable block built in 1888, and converted into a wonderful family home in 1970. The house sits in 20 acres of garden, fields and woodland including an old Victorian kitchen garden. The Park House comprises four bedrooms, sleeping 6. There is a kitchen/dining room, sitting room and utility with separate toilet. There are stunning views over the surrounding Leicestershire countryside.
The main bedroom is up a spiral staircase and is a lovely large airy room with a raised area to sit in under the windows. From the windows you can see the tops of the trees. Also in this upstairs area is a single bedroom. There is a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. There is an area to sit in between the two bedrooms where there is a sofa. The other two bedrooms (a double and a twin) are on the ground floor and have ensuite shower rooms. There is a large utility room which has a washer and dryer, as well as an additional toilet. From the kitchen, there are glass doors opening out on to the patio which looks out over the fields. There is a large table in the kitchen, and another table in the Entrance Hall. Next to the kitchen, is a sitting room with two sofas and armchairs. There is a Smart TV which operates on the internet and has Netflix and other apps available on it. However, please note we are in a rural setting surrounded by beautiful trees and this can effect the Internet quality. There is a booster in the main sitting room. There is also a selection of games, DVDs and books, and a cot and highchair.
We share our driveway with the Kilworth House Hotel which is a beautifully renovated 1880 house, with its own open-air theatre (May-September) in the grounds as well as a fishing lake. From May to September they put on West End quality performances. It is a 7 minute walk making the Park House a perfect place to stay. There are many lovely places to walk around our land and woods (maps can be found in the information folder). Local attractions include the lovely market town of Market Harborough, Foxton Locks, Coton Gardens (a must at bluebell time) and then a little further afield, Warwick Castle, Stratford-on-Avon, Leamington Spa to mention just a few. If its shopping you're after Highcross in Leicester has all the usual retailers or you can venture to the Bullring in Birmingham which also has some great vintage shops (or so our daughters tell us!) We are in a great central location for get-togethers from all around the country.
