Cassidy's little self contained cottage is absolutely delightful. It was spotless, very comfortable and warm, and very cosy. And I loved the decor and mixed between modern and classy old-fashioned style. It was 2 min walk from small shoppin(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) with few shops and restaurants, and 10 min drive to Airport. So super convenient. I would recommend it to anyone on business or leisure trip to Canberra.

I spent a week here while working in the area. The apartment was extremely comfortable with everything that I needed. Offstreet parking was a bonus. The heaters were much appreciated and worked well (it was freezing outside!) Fully equipped kitchen, warm comfy bed - everything was perfect for my needs. Location was great too. This cottage was the perfect place as a home away from home. Spacious and has everything you would need. Love the extra little things. Bread, milk and spreads was great when I arrived late. Good heating, perfect location and your own driveway. Bed was large and very comfy!!

A great place to come back to after checking out the sights around Canberra. We took our bicycles and everything was in easy reach. Yvonne's tip to watch the film of the making of Parliament House was a really good one. The garden flat was warm and cosy and very well equipped.

We were Yvonne's first Airbnb guests and it was a complete pleasure. She was very welcoming and prompt with communication. We arrived after a four hour drive to a fridge stocked with yummy bread cheese milk and other great supplies and were so grateful for that thoughtfulness. The space is light and cosy and we could cycle to all the main sights so it's in a lovely area. Yvonne supplied a trundle bed for one of our sons which she went and got knowing we were coming, very kind. It would be an ample sized space for a couple, admittedly a bit tight for four in the bedroom but we still had a great time. The kitchen is really good and the smart TV and wifi were appreciated. Yvonne was lovely and friendly but gave us our privacy at the same time.

James' place is a comfort warm place to stay couple of days at. I'll come again next time I visit Canberra.

My boyfriend and I stayed at James' place for 1 night. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a conveniently located and value for money place to stay. The room is cozy with a double bed and overall very clean. The house is also located close to Parliament House and around 15 min drive to Canberra centre. James was also very prompt with responding to messages and answered any queries we had. Definitely would stay again :)

James was prompt and clear with communications. He also had a friendly manner and ensured that all the amenities advertised were in order. The place is very well located, but a bit on the older side. It's excellent for it's price and suitable for a short term stay. Props go to the massive lounge area and the water from the shower is very good. It must be tried at least once ;)

it's me again, it is not a scam. I'm working in Canberra 3 days a week and after trying different places, I decide to stay at James' every week because of the location, value, and connivances. Also I enjoy a hot shower after long day of work and the hot water at james' is fantastic. Also you got everything you need to survive, water, a bed, a private room, wifi (very important), etc. strongly recommended

Dane is really a superhost, very friendly and helpful.

If you're looking for a nice comfortable laid back place to stay, then this is for you. Dane describes his place exactly as it is, no frills, but if you have pets, they will love the huge enclosed rear garden to run around in. I would have loved to stay longer, but sadly couldn't. It feels homely the minute you step in through the door. The log fire on these cold Canberra nights was a welcome bonus too. Dane's house is fabulously located near everything we needed in Canberra. We were travelling with two dogs and there's a large yard that they were very comfortable in. The house is simply furnished but comfortable and clean. Our beds were very comfy... Dane is a great host - we would be very happy to stay again. Rebecca

Dane was very responsive to any messages. We were expecting it to be a little nippy in Canberra but the open fireplace was fabulous. Dane has scrap wood that you can use, which made the place really toasty. Everything was super clean and functional. Only a short 2 minute drive to Manuka, with lots of fab cafes and shops etc. A real quaint place to stay with all the conveniences you need away from home.

Dane was very accommodating, providing a proper BnB level of service - properly laid out rooms, towels, soaps etc - in a lovely home. Dane himself was proactive in ensuring we had all the information needed to arrive and depart without issue. Very close to the centre of Canberra, and highly recommended.

My partner and I had the most lovely weekend in Studio 98. It was the most pleasant stay. Everything was perfect. Would stay again!!

Laurie's studio was such a lovely space to escape to. It rained the entire day we were in Canberra and was about 8deg, but the studio made for a wonderfully cozy place to retreat to after a wet and cold day out. Although the listing says no heating is provided, the studio is actually kept at a constant temperature throughout the year and kept us well and warm. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Laurie in person, but she was sure to check that we had everything we needed and texted great recommendations for dinner. She even offered to loan us a jacket and umbrella since we had come a little under-dressed for the unexpected weather. I would definitely recommend Laurie's studio to anyone looking to spend some time in Canberra. It's proven to be better than any of the other hotel options we had considered. Thanks Laurie! :)

This was a lovely apartment. It was very well equipped and nicely decorated. Laurie was a perfect host, and helped us with information about where to eat out. She even gave us eggs from her chickens! And the TV was fantastic! We would highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay with Matt and Laurie. Their well equipped studio is comfortable and private. It is well located and only a good walk from the large shopping and eating area of Manuka - and the football/cricket oval. Helen is the most wonderful host and goes to such amazing lengths to make staying at her place fantastic. She even left us fresh bread and stocked the fridge with small tidbits on our first day, even though the shops are a very short walk away. The studio itself is beautiful and comfortable with a kitchen and bathroom the same as any 5 star hotel. We loved staying here and chatting to Helen and her son, as well as trying fruit from her amazing garden and playing fetch with her loveable dogs. We had such a great time we would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Helen's garden apartment. The place is clean, convenient & very comfortable. Helen had obviously taken great care in making it so, the place is very tastefully renovated and is cosy & homely. Jazz the dog is so friendly. Now that's what I called a B & B!

As her second guest Helen was a great host. She made us feel very welcome. The cabin is brand new and very clean. There is enough space for a family. Helen managed to organise the cabin like a family-friendly environment. And the bottle of wine was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to visit Canberra for a weekend.

The unit is beautiful and we'll appointed, you won't go wanting while you are there. The only limitation of the unit is privacy, but I doubt that it would affect your stay too much. We had an excellent time.

Very nice cottage for a holiday or business stay in Canberra, pretty quick and simple access to the CBD, friendly, helpful host and good value for money. Only one negative at present, there are no curtains on windows, but overall a minor issue given the upside's of the place!

This is a fantastic airbnb for a visit to Canberra for either business of pleasure. I was there for work and it only took ~ 10 min max each day to drive into central Canberra. I especially enjoyed being able to return somewhere at the end of each day to somewhere spacious and luxuriously outfitted. My favourite parts of this charming garden studio included: the fire place which Helen had going for me each evening; the incredibly comfortable bed with quality sheets (I wish I'd noted the brand); the bathroom with heat lamps and a great shower head (perfect for cold Canberra mornings); the very friendly chocolate lab Jazz; and of course, the very lovely host, Helen and her son who both made sure I had everything I needed.

The host was unavailable when I arrived but was helpful over the phone.

I stayed at Qin's place for 10 days during a work trip. It was comfortable and quiet, consistent with what I expected from the online info. Qin and William were very friendly and helpful. The guest area is fairly separate from the rest of the house, so for the most part I kept to myself. The house is in the suburbs, but is very close to a bus stop that goes to the city (or uber to the city costs about $13). Some nights I would walk to Manuka to get dinner (~ 20 min each way for me). I would happily stay there again.

Greg's place was a wonderful oasis in the suburbs of Canberra. The furnishings were sumptuous, and the garden was really lovely. Everything about this place was a pleasure including the hospitality. We didn't swim in the pool or try the spa but they were available for our use. Tables placed invitingly around the garden were a tribute to thoughtful hospitality. Breakfast of yoghurt fresh berries, bread, butter and homemade jams was delectable and much appreciated. Everything about this lovely place was absolutely first class including generous hospitality. Greg's place is highly recommended.

Greg was the most wonderful host. The accommodation was our own private Oasis in the heart of Canberra and we loved everything about it. The gardens, the shady spot for afternoon tea, swimming in their lovely pool with our granddaughter. Sitting in the jacuzzi with champagne, fresh tomatoes from the garden sliced on toast for breakfast. The list is endless and we cannot recommend it highly enough, so many special touches from fresh flowers in the room to fizzy water in the fridge - 10 stars.

Greg was an ideal generous host whose "Granny flat" is so conveniently placed to the amazing features of our capital, we are very glad we stayed two days and wished we had chosen to stay longer. Greg is an excellent host providing ample and delicious breakfast supplies and helpful assistance when needed. The self contained unit is well set up with independent access and shared use of pool and garden seating areas. The suburb is very close to Manuka and the parliamentary zone and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Also close to the new waterfront area in Kingston. We loved the Vietnamese restaurant in Griffith, a 10 minute walk away via the local wide treed streets. Highly recommended.

Jennifer was really nice and very accommodating. The apartment is very clean and well-kept. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty, although it is not always easy to get to the city center or to major shops, which is not so much a knock on the apartment but for the most a general issue in Canberra when you don't have a car or bike and you are not staying downtown. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, it is good value for money and Jennifer is very pleasant to stay with.

I had a lovely stay at Jen's place. Jen was away for work, so we didn't get to meet, but communication and instructions for check in/out were great. Got in without any hassles. Unit is a 5-10 min walk to the cafes/restaurants/supermarket. Another 5 or so mins to Kingston Foreshore for more food/bar options. Train station across the road. Bus stop out the front. 10 min dirve to the city. Bed is super comfy. Loved having my own bathroom to spread out. Would recommend.

I stayed in the RedHouseSuite for one week after moving to Canberra for work. Luckily this happened to be the perfect place to begin my Canberra life. Deb is lovely and from being picked up from the airport to being dropped off at my new place I was lucky to have such an attentive and engaging host. Deb certainly went out of her way to make me feel welcome and show me around Canberra. As a poor sleeper I was highly appreciative of the comfortable bed, high quality linen and black out curtains. The breakfast food periodically supplied was a lovely touch, as was the personalized watercolour greeting card on the pillow and the lavender potpourri bag left between the sheets. I certainly can recommend RedHouseSuite for any travellers or young professionals in the midst of relocating for work.

We arrived a little late due to hailstorm at airport. Deb welcomed us with delicious Italian bread and jam etc. The bed was comfortable and everywhere was spotless. We had a lovely two days stay at Deb's comfortable home. It is conveniently located near the city centre, shops and restaurants. The room was well appointed and clean with a lovely private courtyard and your own entrance. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful linen and the bathroom spacious with bath and separate shower.
