There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. It is a nice room with a Japanese-style room of 14 tatami mats on the edge and feels nostalgic somewhere. There is a step at the entrance.There is also a steep slope along the way. If you have large luggage or are concerned about your physical ability, please check the route on Google Maps beforehand. The water area is replaced with the latest ones, so you can use them comfortably. Parking for 2 cars is just 1 minute walk from the guest house. Amenities include bath towels, face towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, and slippers. The adjoining takoyaki shop is currently temporarily closed.

You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.
