The guest space is a two-story house that is rented out as a whole. There is a private kitchen, so those who like to cook and families with small children can enjoy a homey island stay. For guests staying multiple nights, we can also provide a firewood bath, etc. You can also see the beautiful starry sky on a good weather day. ※ Because it is a natural place, in addition to creatures such as butterflies, bees, fireflies, and beetles, there are also creatures such as boars, snakes, and centipedes. Although we are taking measures, please understand that centipedes and spiders may wander into the room from spring to autumn. Daisenji Shrine, supermarkets, and convenience stores are also about 5 minutes away by car. It is also a good location for walking. The popular marine bath facility, Mare Glacia, is about 8 minutes by car (2.2 km).

This is the only accommodation near Shin-Onomichi Station. The accommodation is a traditional Japanese house, and you will stay in the main house. Limited to one group per day, it can accommodate up to 4 guests. Only one dog can stay with you (but it must be kept in a cage in the tatami room). Because it is close to the Shinkansen, there is noise and vibration every time it passes. It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It is quiet because it does not operate from 11:40 pm to 6:20 am) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms. Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed. Please let us know what you need. Please be careful as smoking is not allowed.

100-year-old cozy town house, near rabbit island

Former traditional Japanese confectionery shop(Machiya house). Good access to the Tadanoumi port(about 10 minutes walk) and JR Tadanoumi station(2 minutes walk). You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.

We renovated the villa, which was built in the early Showa era and has one of the best views in Onomichi, to be easy to use and functional. While keeping the beauty of the traditional house, we have added comfortable modern innovations to create a space where you can enjoy the nostalgic and good traditional culture of Japan.

It is a nice room with a 14 tatami mat Japanese-style room surrounded by a veranda, and it feels somewhat nostalgic. The bathroom has been replaced with the latest fixtures, so you can use it comfortably. There are 2 parking spaces just a 1-minute walk from the guest house.
