  • Cannot wait to book again! Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights and cannot say one bad thing about this place. There is everything you need & more. It’s a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. There is great cooking facilities, hot water bottles, cosy bed sheets and blankets! We had to ask for more wood and that was replenished before we returned from our day out. Great responses from the hosts and they could not be any more helpful! Fire pit was fantastic, amazing views & a great 2 nights away. Cannot wait to go again!

  • Gorgeous views, definitely worth a visit

  • Amazing stay. Very cool and quirky! Everything you needed was there and Steve very kindly lit fire before we got there making a very cold evening a cosy one. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  • Fantastic stay! The boat shack is so beautifully designed and has everything you could need! Really beautiful views, completely surrounded by nature but close enough to Ely and Cambridge for days out.

    Sophia2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful night away in the boatshack despite the weather! Will most definitely return as it is such a lovely experience.

    Leah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Steve for being such a great host! Loved the little thoughtful touches like the heart shaped chocolates on our pillows for Valentines Day! Steve even brought us a fresh egg in the morning for our breakfast, and replied straight away if I had any queries. Was such a lovely romantic stay and I would definitely recommend!

    Charlotte2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, perfect for a weekend getaway for two if you fancy some fresh air and peace and quiet! Quirky and unique and excellently finished, this place is a must see! We would definitely love to return in summer.

    Megan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the boat shack was the perfect mid week getaway in the country. Hosts were amazing, Welcoming and friendly. As animal lovers we enjoyed visiting the animals but this is optional. The only issue we faced was the weather was cold and we could not shut the boat door from the inside so had to leave it ajar through out the night. But over all was a great lovely experience and would definitely return in the summer months.

Our luxurious log cabin is close to family-friendly activities, public transport, countryside and river walks, public footpaths and country pub & restaurant. The log cabin is great for solo adventurers, couples, families with kids and furry friends (pets) and business travellers. It's an ideal location for unwinding with friends or family Newly added in December 2018 is an indulgent hot tub to soak away all your stresses or to relax with friends and family whilst enjoying a drink or two!
You’ll love the peaceful ambiance, the light, the sunsets and the dark starry nights. The outdoor space with fully enclosed garden provides a secure environment for both pets and children. Nature lovers will enjoy the birdsong during the day and often owls and sometimes nightingales at night; not to mention the free-ranging chickens, affectionate cats and nearby a couple of friendly pygmy goats!
The cabin is ideally located to explore Cambridgeshire and the North and West of Norfolk with the ancient university city of Cambridge (always worth a punt!), beaches and the Royal residence of Sandringham (we're still waiting for our Christmas invite!) all readily accessible within about an hour.
  • Alan's place is a wonderful countryside retreat and was the perfect location for our girls' weekend. The check-in process was very easy and the space was clean. There were lots of nice touches, including fresh bread and eggs. We loved the hot tub and when I needed to ask Alan a question he responded immediately. I'd definitely recommend a stay here!

  • Very lovely place, with two cats that come in turns! Hopefully we will back soon!

    Gabi2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was absolutely amazing. Alan was extremely supportive, very responsive, the house is absolutely gorgeous. I could easily live there! Everything was ready for us, including the hot tub which btw was awesome! Kitchen was fully supplied, we easily cooked our dinner and breakfast the next day, it saved us lots of time to put the dishes in a dish washer. I have an OCD and having super clean bathrooms helped to easy my anxiety :) Milo stole my heart, he's the cutest. I will definitely visit again!

    Sonia2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Alan’s place exceeded our (already high!) expectations. The cabin has been built to a high spec with luxury kitchen and bathrooms, along with tech like smart TV and Hive heating controls. Alan was the perfect host, friendly, quick to respond, and the special touches of homemade bread and fresh eggs, milk and orange juice were really appreciated. We were also welcomed by the affectionate and playful Milo and Oreo the cats who stole our hearts! The cabin is stocked with everything you need for a break away, it’s super clean and the added bonus of the hot tub makes it the perfect getaway! We’ll definitely be staying again!

    Jonny2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Please follow directions given by Alan the sat nav took us else where. You will arrive to a warm welcome, and the cabin is amazing every detail to a high standard. You won’t be disappointed.

    Daniel2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful log cabin, as photographed. We were treated to beautiful freshly baked bread and fresh eggs from Alan's hens on arrival. The home was super clean and the kitchen very well appointed. Hot tub was amazing . 10/10!

  • Amazing beautiful and spacious place. Great location and Luke was a brilliant host to communicate with.

  • The barn is beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The bathrooms are amazing and the outside space is great too! Very close to quaint villages and lovely surroundings and views.

  • Great location, not too far from London. The house is amazing, while pictures give you a good idea; it’s so much better when you’re there. A lot of space and everything you needed was provided, the host was amazing and I would definitely be interested in visiting again.

    Lateef2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Luke’s home is an incredible place for a group trip. Celebrated my 30th birthday with 15 friends and we had the best time - from the space, to the amazing kitchen and brand new cooking facilities/amenities, to the incredible baths/showers, the house was truly decked out. The surroundings are beautiful - we attempted a walk to the local pub (despite the mud!) and the area is great for a weekend away from the city.

    Gabriella2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • A very good venue with plenty of space for a large family celebration . Excellent kitchen and dining areas. Outside caterers liked the kitchen facilities.

    Mike2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • We used this amazing place as a base for our families during the weekend of our wedding. The bathrooms and kitchen are amazing! The underfloor heating was definitely a real treat. Thank you to the hosts for being so kind and providing a great place for us to host everyone. We all had a wonderful time!

    Grace2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautiful and we loved the underfloor heating. The kitchen was a perfect size for us to sit and have dinner. Luke's wife was a pleasure to deal with. It is a little off the path but for that you get beautiful views and it's so peaceful. The taxi service is great so getting one to the house to get about is not overly expensive.

Based in Whaplode Drove, in close proximity to Peterborough and Spalding. The stables provides a double bedroom with toilet and shower facilities. Living area with use of a pool table and hot tub.
The accommodation is completely separate from the house and is set in 8 acres of land. There is a private patio area for guests however the garden is a communal area. I also operate a children’s riding school and doggy day care on the property so there will be a couple of dogs in the garden and there may be comings and goings from parents and their children. The hot tub is for your exclusive use during your stay but is in a communal garden. We will try and give you as much privacy as possible but we can not guarantee complete privacy when using it. *please note that the area is to only be used by a maximum of 2 guests for the duration of your stay
Whaplode Drove is a village in rural Lincolnshire. Spalding and Peterborough are both about a 25 minute drive. The beautiful town of Stamford is half an hour away and is well worth a visit. There are fishing lakes next door more details are on http://www.ashleighlakes.co.uk/
  • Myself and my partner had an absolutely lovely stay at the Paddocks. The accommodation is well thought out and offered exactly what we wanted. The pool table was well used by us as was scrabble. The hot tub is perfect for being out under the night sky and we spent a long time relaxing in there. When we stay again we will look to bring our own towels for the hot tub so as to have dry ones for the shower. There is a microwave, countertop oven and hob. Cutlery, mugs and drinks glasses. However we ordered takeaway from Ocean Chinese and had it delivered for a £3 delivery charge. Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay at the Paddocks and look forward to returning.

A lovely village with the Well Creek River that flows through the middle of it. Great local amenities including a cafe, hairdressers, 3 pubs, post office, convenience store and 2 butchers!
  • This place is legit so amazing. The pictures dont do it justice. If you're looking for the wow factor this is the place for you. It's super cute and is really well stocked up. We had a full house and weren't by any means on top of each other with plenty of extra room. Gregory is a responsive host with an even better space. I would not hesitate to reccomend

    Chloe2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the Chapel with 8 of our friends and a baby and had a brilliant time catching up, cooking meals, playing games and spending time together around the big table in the living room. It was really cosy despite being quite a big space but perfect for a larger group, and it has been beautifully converted. Gregory was a very friendly, helpful host and very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would happily recommend!

    Ed2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home with excellent space to host the whole family - kitchen is well stocked, the fire is superb, and the dogs loved it too!

    Jonathan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location and great value. Really stylish house and perfect for large family get together. Good base for exploring the area too. Really attentive host who answered all queries promptly

    Rob2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Gregory was very quick at responding, which helped a lot, as this was my first Airbnb. We had family over from Australia so wanted to get away somewhere lovely for a few days, where all the other family members could join us. This house was ideal! There were 15 of us, so the downstairs layout/living space was perfect. Gorgeous fire, and even a real Christmas tree just added to the cosy stay. Thank you!

    Michelle2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Gregory’s beautiful house was the perfect location for a Boxing Day family gathering. The open plan living/dining area leading to the gorgeous kitchen made for a wonderfully relaxing few days and the beds were really comfortable. We loved the huge sparkly tree and the Christmas music playing when we arrived, a lovely touch! The village is quiet, there is a shop next door for essentials and some of us went on a nice circular walk for a couple of hours but the house is so gorgeous and well equipped that you really won’t want to leave it for long. Only small niggle is that it would have been great if both bathrooms had a shower, but we were in no rush - might be trickier if people are under time pressure. Gregory was very quick to respond to messages and really helpful. A magical few days for everyone.

    Helen2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • A very special place to spend Christmas with 3 generations of my family. 4 separate families (including children) all had plenty of space to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The house was stylish, comfortable and very festive. Perfect to have a little shop next door for the little things we forgot. As it was Christmas we didn’t explore the area, however we had a peaceful wonder through the village. A magical Christmas we won’t forget. Thank you.

    Lucy2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous - the photos are great but the reality of this beautiful building is jaw-dropping. We were celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday - nine of us staying 2 nights and other family joining us for the day/evening and it proved to be the perfect venue. Highly recommended by all who experienced it. Greg is a lovely host, very easy to communicate with and quick to reply.

Featured in The Sunday Times in 2016, designed by Grand Designs finalist, and close to historic Cambridge, Ely, and Kings Lynn, and the unique Norfolk heritage coast. The Pumphouse overlooks the river Wissey at the edge of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Wissey Valley Living Landscape reserve. You cannot get closer to nature, or find a more secluded retreat. With 5 bedrooms, an interior spa, and a huge kitchen, this is the ideal place for a retreat, family reunion, party, or to get back to nature.
The Pumphouse is an isolated 'get back to nature' type place. Inside its industrial and contemporary with concrete, wood and brick. Outside there is the deck and barbeque, and then just nature. In front of you is the river bank with beautiful walks, and next to you is the nature reserve, teeming with birds. On the track down you will see every kind of animal, from deer to hares to geese and herons - it really is an escape. Once inside you are in comfortable easy to use space - spa, big screen TV with Sky, huge kitchen, and comfortable en-suite rooms. Enjoy....... Accommodation: Ground floor: open plan living room with dining table for up to 14 people, and large open plan kitchen. AV system and wood burning stove. French doors leading to the external decked terrace and barbeque. Bedroom 1 with king size bed, and en-suite shower room. Separate cloakroom. Entrance hall with coatrack and stairs to upper floors. Spa room with views to wilderness garden. First Floor: Bedrooms 2 and 3 – both with king size beds, en-suite shower rooms and separate W.C.’s Second floor: Bedrooms 4 and 5 – each bedroom has two standard single beds, and a day bed with an additional pull-out bunk, giving sleeping accommodation for between 2 and 4 people per room. Bathroom with roll top bath, W.C. and basin. The Pumphouse is prepared for up to 10 guests at the standard nightly hire rate. For parties of more than 10 up to the 14 limit we charge an additional fee per person per night. Those hiring The Pumphouse must tell us when booking how many guests they will be so that beds and linen can be provided, and that the correct fee may be charged. The Pumphouse is ideal for nature lovers. Located right in a corner of the new Wissey Valley Living Landscape wetland reserve, The Pumphouse is perfectly situated for bird watching, with numerous indigenous and migratory bird species literally 100m away. Gathering nectar and pollen from the local shrubs and wildflowers, we have 3 colonies of bees living in beehives along the edge of our land next to the wetlands.
Hilgay is rural village set off the A10 just outside Downham Market. The ancient towns of Kings Lynn to the north and Ely to the south are each a 25 minutes away by car, whilst Cambridge is accessible in 45 minutes. Downham Market is a 1 hour a 20 minute direct train ride from London Kings Cross, and then 10 minutes in cab. To the north and east of Hilgay is the glorious Norfolk heritage coast, with a fabulous mixture of beaches and saltings, atmospheric coastal towns and villages, and a rich and varied range of outdoor activities to suit visitors of all ages and interests. And all around are the vestiges of the ancient fenlands. The fens, made famous by Herewood the Wake, baffled and defeated incomers for centuries, and provided sanctuary and sustenance for the local people until they were finally drained in the nineteenth century. Local landowners employed the skills of the Dutch and the muscles of the Irish navies to dyke the rivers and cut drains through the low-lying fens so that the rich dark soil could be tilled or grassed to produce food for Great Britain’s growing urban population. This Pumphouse is a reminder of this most recent chapter in the history of the fens. Hilgay has a wonderful traditional butcher and grocery shop, a pub, and a farm shop and restaurant. Within a five minute drive are the ‘Boatman’ at Denver sluice, the various restaurants of Downham Market, and for an evening treat the gastro-pub ‘The Hare Arms’ a Stow Bardolph. If you are interested in private catering at the property, previous guests have highly recommended Avril, a local Norfolk chef who can be contacted via www.chef2dine4.co.uk.
  • The Pumphouse is a wonderful location for a gathering of friends or family. The living and dining areas are comfortable and functional (and very stylish!) - we loved it. The kitchen is spacious with most items that you could possibly want. The bedrooms are bright and airy and the bathrooms clean and, again, simple but stylish. There a lovely big hallway with plenty of room for wet coats and boots. We also found the living areas and bedrooms to be plenty warm enough. We didn't use the spa and it was too cold and windy to sit outside, but I'm tempted to come back in the summer to try them out. There's also a chair down next to the river which, on a warm summer's evening, I'm sure has my name on it. We were a group of wildlife enthusiasts and were thrilled to be so close to the wetland and river - visible even from the windows. Whilst pottering around we saw barn owls, cranes, great white egret, kingfisher, lapwing, marsh harrier and lots more. There were also lots of signs of otters on the river banks. I hope that we will be back one day to try and spot the otters themselves. Thank you David for a lovely stay.

  • The PumpHouse beats all expectations based on the pictures on here. A stunning place to stay for a relaxing time away. We came as a group of 8 friends and really enjoyed our stay here. We may revisit with friends or family again. Once again, thank you David!

    Charlotte2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely amazing. The location is stunning, the kitchen and communal space is one of the nicest I have ever been in and the whole house is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Everyone who came along for my birthday trip there was blown away with the place and it was the perfect retreat for a few days. David was easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating and provided us with tips for things to do in the local area.

    Andrew2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • David’s place is wonderful - the location, hospitality, communication and the house itself are beyond expectation. We can’t wait to go back soon!

  • The pump house is an amazing house & it’s such a beautiful setting. Great for large gathering & celebrations. My daughter had best birthday. Thank you

    Kelly2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing stay in a beautifully restored pump house. We were 12 adults sharing the space and it was very comfortable. The house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The communal spaces were perfect for playing board games etc. and sky sports on the tv meant that we could watch the footy! The rooms are all decorated very nicely and there’s plenty of bathrooms. The spa was a lovely rest spot after long walks and has a great view. David is a lovely host and very responsive which made me feel very reassured before and during our stay. We have quite a few dead flies on the top floor but we thought this was most likely due to being close to water and it didn’t affect our stay. All in all we would love to come back one day and stay again at this beautiful house!

Nostalgic, welcoming and rustic! Lots of light wood give it a warm cosy feel and it is surprisingly spacious for its 'Tiny House' 18' x 8' size. Tucked away on the edge of our 5 acre camping field - wide open spaces with a mooring onto the river at the bottom of the field. Ideal for an all year round quiet getaway for one or two. Ask about activities on site.
There are 3 steps up to the stable door. The kitchenette comes with a single hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, pots and pans, toaster and crockery and cutlery. Home made biscuits, tea, coffee and milk are left for you. There is a dining table, TV with freeview, free wifi and a wood burning stove (in addition to conventional heating). Fully insulated and cosy all year round! We can provide a bbq and a table and chairs is there to enjoy the outdoors. Towels and bedding are provided. Subject to availability and for an additional charge you can also book in for breakfast into our b&b - locally sourced free range produce and homemade baked goods with good quality coffee and tea, juices, yogurt and fruit - or bring a plate over to the house and we will fill it for you.
We are situated on the outskirts of March town set in farmland. Our town is down to earth and friendly with most facilities you need and only a couple of miles away. There is a large Tescos less than 5 minutes away and a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in town.
  • Such a beautiful place to relax in nature, a warm and comfortable place to sleep with everything you need, including a beautiful view of the stars on a clear night!

  • A lovely little space for a couples get away. The place is equipped with everything you need and works if you need just a bed for the night or somewhere to spend a nice cosy afternoon/evening with the fire on. An easy drive to Cambridge too if you decide to spend the day there. Jaffa is the friendliest cat I've ever met!

    Martin2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Cannot recommend enough , best glamping trip yet, all the amenities you need, fantastic friendly hosts and an exceptional breakfast. Cheap taxi fares into the local town with some nice restaurant options, a great find!

  • Can't fault this little hut. Loved every minute of it. Very cosy and warm, even in -1 conditions. A lovely wood burner kept us snug. Very clean inside with a great shower and clean towels. Lovely sunrise in the morning also. Keep a look out for Jaffa the cat - he's adorable and very friendly. We were met by Beverly and she was extremely welcoming and friendly to talk to. Very helpful. We'll certainly be back in the summer i'm sure.

    Charles2020-01-19T00:00:00Z

  • Very friendly and helpful hosts! The cabin was lovely. Loved the cosy decor. Nice and warm even though the weather was windy and cold! Very clean. Bev had put some milk in our fridge to get us started which was nice. Location was great for skydiving in Wimblington. 15 min drive. And Jaffa the resident farm cat is super cute and friendly! Would definitely stay again, it would be a lovely place to stay in the summer. Thanks Bev & John for a lovely stay 😊😁 xx

  • Fantastic accomodation for myself, daughter and friend. Very quiet. Good facilities and very helpful hosts. We were staying there the night before the girls had a speed skating race in Wisbech so they needed a good nights sleep. It worked as they came 1st and 2nd in their category. Must have been the pancakes for breakfast.

  • Denise was very quick at responding to my queries prior to check in. On arrival Denise and her husband made us feel very welcome and were accommodating regarding our early start the next morning for breakfast! The house and gardens were absolutely stunning we were blown away and the accommodation was perfect for our needs- very modern and having the sink and fridge added a nice touch and also places to sit in the beautiful garden. Breakfast was lovely and home made jams all included! We couldn’t believe our luck at finding such a beautiful spot and very reasonable too. The house was in the countryside but also not too far from the centre of town. We hope to be back and stay for longer - highly recommend they are so friendly too.

We live in a rural location all amenities are a little more than a long walk so driving is essential, we have a fantastic Italian restaurant called the Barn 5 minutes drive away in Terrington St John and Worzals Bar and Grill/farm shop also 5 minutes drive (highly recommended), Kings Lynn Town center is just 12 miles away, Wisbech Town Center just 6 miles drive, the lovely historic city of Ely just 24 miles way and the start of the stunning North Norfolk coastline 25 miles away
We offer a full English breakfast with tea/coffee/juices and cereals / toast in our recently refurbished dining room, open fire will be lit in the winter. We keep a small friendly flock of chickens, who lay fantastic eggs that are served fresh for breakfast, we also have two over friendly Labradors, don't worry if you're not over keen on dogs, we can keep them out of your way. I have recently built a outdoor kitchen with BBQ and wood fired oven (still a little work to finish but more than usable), you are welcome to use (subject to nice weather) although the wood fired oven is extra, £5.00 for a basket of Apple wood and only after instruction unless you have used one before. We can also offer a nice evening sitting in the garden round our fire Pit, again wood is extra, £5.00 for a basket full of Apple and enough kindling to get it going, nothing better than chilling out looking at the stars with a bottle of wine keeping toasty by the fire, this is situated next to our hot tub which you are more than welcome to use. We are more than happy for you to use our kitchen, just let us know when you would like to use, we can work around you. We have a local chip shop in Terrington St John serving just about everything under the fast food banner, only 5 mins drive, we do have a local pub in the same village that serves food but cant say its any good, never tried it, we always go to the 5 bells in Upwell about 15 mins away, food is fanstastic and portions massive, I have a big appetite and have only managed two courses. Worzles Bar and Grill just 5 mins away, this is fantastic and comes highly recommended, we also have a local Italian in Terrington St John called the Barn, Wisbech and Kings Lynn has just about every takeaway going!!!. Main bathroom is shared but we will ensure you have priority, we have another we can use downstairs. Start of the stunning Norfolk coastline only a short drive away, we can recommended many places to visit along with the Queens estate of Sandringham, also if you are in to your Bird watching Welney Wetlands are only 20 minutes away I hope you decide to stay with us, a warm welcome awaits

  • Where do I start with this review....from the moment you pull into the drive and are welcomed you feel at home, such amazing hosts, going that extra mile to ensure everything is perfect for your stay. The property is even better than the photos show, the bed is extremely comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. But the real gem of our stay, were Dave and Denise, they make you feel like part of their family and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was out of this world and I can’t recommend the omelette enough, book for a stay here and you will not be disappointed in any way. We will be staying time and time again...thank you for making our weekend so relaxing x

  • The pictures really don't do this place justice. Beautifully decorated with lots of interesting features- it's a great space in a lovely house and excellent value. It felt very private despite being part of a larger home. Our hosts were very welcoming and we'd thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone in the area. First class!

  • This place is a special find, full of April’s pre-loved treasures. The bedroom and sitting room are cosy and comfortable, and the hosts really welcoming and helpful. The bathroom is a bit of a distance away down the stairs, but it’s not a problem. For a place with a private sitting room, it’s great value for money. The hosts recommended the Turkish restaurant in the village, Pera Palace, which was superb.

  • Mary's place is located in a beautiful garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Inside is a very cosy space with everything you'd need and more for a comfortable stay. The decor is homely and stylish. The whole place was spottlessly clean on arrival. The bathroom has a spacious shower, with fast hot water (perfect for winter stays!). The kitchenette was also easy to use, with all the cooking accessories, seasoning, cutlery etc. needed. There was also lots of useful info available for local places to see (we took Mary's advice on going to the pub in Tilney All Saints for tea). Mary was very thoughtful in providing us with options for breakfast, drinks and snacks. We only saw the dogs once who were lovely and came over for some fuss. Highly reccomended place to stay if you're in the area!

  • Mum and 1 stayed for one night as sightseeing in the area. check in was easy with communication prior to arrival from Sue. Bedroom & huge bathroom were clean and tidy with all amenities (roll top bath was to die for) very peaceful and lovely views. Breakfast was great with a selection of Bread, Jams, Pastries, crumpets yoghurts and a fresh fruit salad (toaster fridge kettle) there was enough for 4 people!!! I would highly recommend these guys and an added bonus for us was meeting the puppy at check in (I had to check that mum didn’t put her in the car when we left!) It was my mums first Airbnb and was very pleased over all. Thank you both and hope to call by again soon

  • Lovely house, comfortable room and beautiful dogs!

    Phillip2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best of all the Air BnBs we've stayed in, for unexpectedly being incredible. Only because the price suggested a place to lay your head and this place is so much more! Comfiest bed. Luxury bath. TV and lovely views (with stunning stargazing out there in the darkness) and the biggest, yummest breakfast with Tiptree jam (big points always for Tiptree jam :)) If you like dogs there's the big bonus of no less than nine Malamutes with a beautiful pup the only one who appears to be in the house and offers the best greeting of all. I'd recommend this beautiful farmhouse to anyone without reservation.

    Natasha2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • It's beautiful, homely and fresh! The home location is country and amazing. I have loved every minute of my stay. I implore any traveller looking up something different and uniquely fresh and away from the hustles and bustles of towns or cities, to try Elsie Farmhouse. Y'all won't be disappointed 👌👌👌

  • We had a great stay again in Sue’s house. It’s a really nice room with onsuite bathroom. Lots of space and very clean. Sue and her husband are very friendly and welcoming and we will definitely stay here again

The Nissen is a unique, private and secluded two person home in the middle of a 20 acre orchard. Situated within walking distance of Elm village, with its popular pub, The Sportsman, opposite All Saints Church, being a short walk. There's also a convenience store in Birch Grove. Tesco Extra is 1.5 miles. Wisbech town centre 3 miles. Begdale road is on national cycle route 63. Peterborough, Kings Lynn, and the Norfolk coast are within easy reach by car.
Unfortunately, our tiny house is not suitable, or big enough for children, but we do allow one well behaved dog.
  • Cool building, clean and with everything needed. Highly recommended!

  • We had a fantastically different and wonderful experience. I loved meeting all of the animals with Athena and hearing Karen and Richards plans for the place for the future. Their home is amazing and something I'd aspire to. We were made to feel like part of the family and were welcome to use the entire house. The breakfast was fab and Karen made a vegan fry up for me alongside the usual fry ups for the rest of the family. Our 2 dogs were made very welcome also.

    Sharron2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely warm welcome. If you love to immerse yourself in a welcoming family environment then look no further. This family cannot do enough for you. Perfect for people visiting England and wanting to experience perfect English hospitality.

  • Karen and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, the little Athena is adorable and friendly. One cat and two dogs made the stay even better (they love to be cuddled) the house is huge and cozy, you feel like at home. The Swedish spa was very much appreciated and we had probably one of the best breakfast ever! The room is big and the bed very comfy, we had tea and coffee machine, and also the the big tub was great. They have lots of animals in the farm, goats, pigs, chickens, alpacas and an owl. Can't wait to come back!

  • Home to home feeling, so stylish, warm colours, comfy bed and duvet, everything is very cleverly thought through. Fridge/freezer very handy, games/cards great additions, we did have a go :) Water dispenser - The Best! We never drink tap water so this was a real hit with us! Kitchen paper such good quality, also surprise. The scent she uses in the room is amazing, like walking into a spa!! All in all, absolutely recommended for a stop over!

Hi, we have 3 spare beautiful double bedrooms which you can rent together or just one or two. There is one bathroom for guests to share but its lovely, clean and huge and a lovely guest lounge with Sky .TV and WiFi, we also have a huge family kitchen where you are welcome to join us for meals or coffee and a chat. We live in a lovely area with easy access to Peterborough (20 mins), Kings Lynn (20 mins) or Wisbech and March (10 mins). Our house is semi rural with lovely walks within minutes of the front door. We are pet lovers with dogs, cats and bunnies of our own so dogs would be welcome by prior engagement. We would be more than happy to serve breakfast and or evening meal if you tell us when and you can have internet access and sky tv both in the guest lounge. The cost quoted is for bed and board alone and the cost of home cooking would be separate but we could stretch to a bowl of cerial or a slice of toast and a cup of tea if thats all you have time for. We can agree food requirements and pricing at the time of booking depending on what you need. We can cater for singles, doubles or small groups with no problem at all and our house is clean, tidy and welcoming. If your a family, there is bowling, laser blast and a small childrens soft play center only a couple of minutes along the road or some nice old pubs within walking distance. We also have some bicycles here too if you want to explore the fens. We can offer a home from home experience or peace and quiet if thats what you want.........you choose. We look forward to hearing from you.
  • Great spot for travellers with access to both Norfolk and nearby Peterborough. Very welcoming hosts.

  • Angela and Simon are the most lovely and welcoming couple, they took me under their wing for the last 2 months I stayed with them. Their house is clean tidy and easy to find. Staying with them while working at the King’s Lynn hospital was much easier than expected to! I highly recommend staying with them and their gorgeous animals! Thank you both so much Xxx

  • Very friendly and helpful! Lovely room.

    Jon2019-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • You'll be sure of a warm welcome from Angela and Simon. The house is close to major roads for easy commuting without being able to see or hear them. Large open blue skies unpolluted by light. The room is clean and tidy with lovely fresh scented bed linen and towels. The bathroom is shared, but very spacious and clean. Parking is right outside your own private entrance. Very good value.

  • I stayed here as I was working in the area. I arrived quite late on the Sunday night and I received a really warm welcome and got a tour of the house. The room was great - comfy bed and lots of space and a massive bathroom next door. The room is away from the hosts living space so you get a feeling of privacy but if you want more company they are a really friendly couple and happy to chat and provide advice about the area. Would recommend if you are in the neighbourhood.

Spacious bedroom with private bathroom. This accommodation offers a unique relaxing space with its own peaceful character , whilst offering the amenities of the town centre . You will be up in the attic room, a real getaway, up a second set of quirky slightly, narrow stairs ( a consideration if your knees are not good, though). The town centre, bus station and park are just a few minutes walk away, with Asda and Aldi very close by.
This is a 200 year old Grade 2 listed building, former coaching inn in bygone years, with its own unique character. This has recently been tastefully renovated and has a relaxed atmosphere.
This an individual house which affords a large degree of privacy and quiet, though there are neighbours across the parking area and in the adjacent house.
  • Would recommend and would stay again

  • Loc-Mai’s place is perfect, a lovely clean, cosy spacious room which has lovely extra touches in the room that made my stay easy and comfortable. The room is lovely and bright and the private bathroom with large shower and bath plus toiletries is a relaxing space and lovely and clean. I will definitely stay again when I back in Wisbech next year.

  • A gorgeous space with an utterly welcoming host in an ideal location. Highly, highly recommended.

    Mark2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Loc-Mai was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble - even supplying extra Earl Grey teabags. The room was beautifully light and spacious with lots of great books to look through. I had sole use of the spotless bathroom complete with a whole range of toiletries - amazing! The location was perfect with a car parking space and an easy short walk into Wisbech town. A tray breakfast was outside my door each morning. And finally, the price was very reasonable. I completely recommend this AirB&B.

We are located in a lovely little country lane making a perfect area for jogging or slow walks. There is also a fully stocked fishing lake opposite that charges £5 per day. The town is just 5 minute drive or 10 min walk. Beaches Hunstanton, Heacham being a couple of the closest around 50 mins away March is an attractive market town with the old River Nene running its way through the town centre and park. The river is often busy with colourful boats cruising the Fenland waterways. The town centre has a street lined with an array of independent shops, cafes, hotels, pubs and restaurants and headed by a Fountain' which was erected to commemorate the coronation of King George V. The town is situated on the A141 which links the A47 and A142 that provide excellent access to Huntingdon, Cambridge, Peterborough, Kings Lynn and to London and the Midlands via the A1, M11 and A14. There are direct rail links to Ely (for Cambridge), Peterborough, Ipswich and Stansted Airport.
  • Triple room is a double bed and single bed. Very large beautiful bathroom with good light. Breakfast set up like a bed and breakfast and set out in dining area overlooking garden. Very enjoyable stay.

  • What a lovely warm welcome! Had a great time chatting with Denise. Enjoyed my breakfast very much. Would definitely stay here again.

  • We had a lovely stay at Denise and Daves. Great hosts and very comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom and tasty brekkie. Thankyou guys.

    Vanessa2016-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Wood Paddock with Denise and Dave. The room was very smart and we appreciated the little cakes with the welcome pot of tea after our journey. Dave's breakfast, although not a 'full English', was excellent with a couple of warm options, an amazing, freshly prepared fruit salad and cereal options. The spacious bathroom was worthy of any boutique hotel. The country setting and proximity to the historic town of March makes this an ideal base for exploring.

    Jason2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We were greeted with a beautiful cup of coffee. This is the first time this has happened during our Airbnb stays.

    Peter2016-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Denise and Dave had been the loveliest hosts ever, we felt at home immediately. The room was clean and cosy, with everything they we needed. I can completely understand why Denise and Dave are superhosts now, with the hospitality they are providing, it definitely beats any service a hotel chain could give. Thank you for offering to drive us to the train station cos we didn't have a car :x and helping us with the ridiculous amount of luggages we have!

    Jasmine2016-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Denise and Dave gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and gave us the option of upgraded accommodation in one of their self-catering annexes which we accepted and was at no extra cost due to work in the house. We accepted this generous offer and no effort was spared to make us welcome during the whole of our stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated with everything that you would need, quiet and private. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Denise and Dave's accommodation and would definitely book again. The property is in the heart of open countryside and also near the main town which is convenient for shops, etc.

  • AH Denise & Dave and beautiful doggies....amazing people. So welcoming and friendly. Anything they could help with they did and picked me up from train station.A great couple! The space was like brand new, felt really good to be there, over looking a beautiful garden, welcomed into their house to chat and even cook them a vegan meal...to tempt them....just a lovely chilled time , loved it...Thankyou
