The Riverside cabin is a truly hand-built home, made with love from the woodland that surrounds it.. A rustic Cornish getaway, only 15 minutes from Falmouth. With the sound of the wind in the leaves, the tinkling water and the crackling fire to relax you. We hope you will have a wonderfully memorable time.
The Cabin is set in a lovely woodland garden, with a firepit for outdoor cooking, swings and a stream to paddle in. It is situated next to a stream and woodland, near a quiet country road with great access to creeks, cliffs and beaches of Cornwall
The Cabin is just off a rural road between the thriving seaside/ harbour town of Falmouth, and the creeks and fishing villages of the Beautiful Helford River and the Lizard peninsula.
  • Great little place really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful craftsmanship.

  • Loved every minute of it. Super cute and cosy. Great location for exploring surrounding Cornish towns!

  • One of the most beautiful spaces I have been fortunate enough to spend time in, ever. The craftsmanship is exquisite and the love that ben has for wood is palpable. The communication was swift and straightforward. It is really a magical place. It is closer to a (v quiet) road than I expected but everything else (wood burner, swings, fairy lights etc) made up for it.

  • A magnificent experience! Very authentic and humble place with all the essentials and more. If you want something magical look no further! We loved every moment, specially the outside shower and waking up to birds singing and a steam flowing.

  • It was an absolutely amazing, well needed break away. It was peaceful and tranquil and we had a very relaxing time ( which is total opposite at home). The weather was crisp and cold but with some sun. I loved the swing and the fire pit and the outdoor shower was a great touch, something I never thought I would enjoy but I did... the photo album showing how it was built and all the other items Ben can build was a lovely touch. It was for my fiance 30th birthday. We have recommended to friends and we hope to stay again sometime soon. Thank you so much.

    Charlotte2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended! Excellent stay!

  • Beautiful little cabin very cosy and warm with fire! Shower would be perfect in summer but cold for winter months overall great place to stay!!

  • Exquisite getaway in the wilds of Cornwall, this cabin is an absolute must stay. Complete with log burning stove, outdoor fire pit and composting loo, this is really one for the outdoorsy adventurer who still loves a bit of home comfort. Suitable for couples or families, and with lots to do in the area with some great local pubs, cafes and attractions. Short drive to Trebah gardens, helford passage and the seal sanctuary at gweek to name a few. A perfect weekend, we didn’t want to leave. Thank you Ben x

With aged oak and natural tones the barn welcomes your tired feet to a stress and city-free escape. On the route between Falmouth and the Helford River, it comfortably fits a couple with a child.
This south facing barn offers year-round accommodation with self catering facilities for those who prefer an independent break. It comfortably accommodates 2 adults and a child; with a large double bedroom and small single room. (The bedrooms are within the pitch of the roof and may not be comfortable for someone over 6'2".) The spacious open plan kitchen/lounge has solid oak flooring and modern cooking facilities with more than adequate space for evenings in. The paneled bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC and basin, with a stone tiled floor and underfloor heating. The utility is fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Guests will be provided with hand and bath towels along with a welcome pack including the essentials needed for self catering. We're willing to provide advice, so please don't hesitate to ask us recommendations for activities or restaurants. We live next to the barn and will be present most of the time.
Pennance Mill is a rural hamlet on the road between Falmouth and Mawnan Smith, with country walks and beaches nearby. It's only a short bus journey or taxi trip into Falmouth, which would cost no more than a few pounds.
  • Wonderful location, combining both quiet privacy with the convenience of a nearby beach and easy access to Falmouth and more. Very clean, suitably equipped for preparing, cooking and eating in with both adequate dining and relaxing space in the kitchen/diner/lounge. Comfy bed, roomy bathroom.....Even our fussy dog made himself comfortable.

  • Absolutely loved this cottage. Great location, walking distance to a lovely cove (with café, even in March). Other nice walks in the area. Rural but within easy reach of the amenities of Falmouth. Super clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

    Ken2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable space with all the amenities you need. A travel cot was kindly provided for our baby. Sharon and her husband were pleasant and friendly. The space was nicely decorated and close to Falmouth and many other Cornish attractions. Would stay again and would reccomend.

  • Had a lovely (if a touch wet and windy!) weekend stay, the place was perfect and cosy and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone, such lovely surroundings and great hosts.

    Megan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is lovely, really close to a small cove just outside of Falmouth. The host's where more than accommodating. There were plenty of toys for our daughter to play with which really helped when not on the beach. The cottage has really well sized rooms and perfect for a small family. it has great transport links and close to coastal walks too. N&K

    Neil2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon’s place was perfect for our short work trip - being just down the road from where we needed to be. It was warm, welcoming and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Sharon and hosts were not intrusive at all and left us to it which was great. We’d certainly try and book again if we are coming to the area again.

A peaceful retreat deep in the countryside, but only 15 minutes from Falmouth and the coast, the ideal base for the best that Cornwall has to offer: sea sports, walking, music venues, creekside bars, great eateries. Then come home to a super king-size bed, a log fire, big sofa, big quiet luxury. Please note - we now have super fast broadband and re-charging facilities if you have an electric vehicle.
Owl House, Constantine was once the heavy horse stables in a courtyard of mid 19th century farm buildings. It is now our lovely, light guest accommodation, suitable for one or two in the super kingsize double bed. We also have a travel cot for babes in arms. Owl has a living room/kitchen with huge stone arched windows and a high ceiling. There is a woodburning stove, comfy seating and dining - and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher etc. The bedroom has a superking size bed, the bathroom a bath with overhead shower. The double doors from the bedroom lead out to a small private patio garden planted with herbs and lavender. Across the yard, there is a little laundry with washer and dryer, and the machines are exclusively for our guests' use. We supply cotton bedding, feather duvet, thick towels and a welcome tray which includes basics like tea, ground coffee, milk, eggs, bread, butter, cheese - and a few other treats. This is no longer a working farm, but you will have access to the field and wood which make up our holding. We live in the barns next to Owl - and also have our studios there. We are very happy to advise on activities, music venues, sports facilities, where to eat etc. Life drawing sessions may be running during your stay - and you would be welcome to come along and draw or paint, for a small fee. This is a quiet place, surrounded by trees, where at night you can see the stars and listen to the owls hoot. A footpath runs past the yard and into the village of Constantine, a walk of about 2.5 miles, over stiles and through bluebell woods. Constantine has a couple of grocery shops, including the very famous Constantine Stores with its amazing stock of spirits and wines. There is also a community centre with a theatre, music and film programme - and a cafe. The much valued Trengilly Wartha pub is on the other side of the village. We reckon we have the best of worlds - beautiful countryside, but in a quarter of an hour we can be in town or by the sea. There is no public transport nearby. Nearest buses in the village of Constantine. Nearest train station 5 miles away in Penryn or Falmouth.
We live in the countryside, but 2.5 miles away is the traditional Cornish village of Constantine with two pubs, general shops and the celebrated arts and museum venue, the Tolmen Centre.
  • This is a really lovely place to stay. We enjoyed exploring the area and stunning coast path and then coming back to a warm and inviting space. Woodburner very easy to light, huge comfy bed, lovely bathroom and huge bath towels, everything you need in the kitchen and a very generous welcome pack of food, flowers and wine. Thank you Jenny.

  • This was our second visit and it was as good as the first! If you are looking for a quiet relaxing bolt hole with some really beautiful touches then this is it. Jenny is so thoughtful even offering us a late checkout/extra night at cost because of the horrendous weather . Another fabulous stay .. we will be back again

'Little Bream' is a cosy barn cottage (sleeps 2) in the hamlet of Meudon between Falmouth and the Helford River, within walking distance of Mawnan Smith, Maenporth beach, a pub, cafes and restaurants. 10 minutes drive into Falmouth and also to the Falmouth University Tremough Campus. Little Bream has a sea view from the bedroom, and a garden/BBQ area and is set in 2 acres of garden. 10 mins walk to the South West Coast Path
Little Bream is a two storey attached cottage which was built in 2016, attached but with its own separate entrance. It comprises an open plan fully fitted kitchen, dining and lounge with stairs up to large bedroom with super king size bed, open plan luxury shower and separate WC. The lounge has an armchair and a comfy sofa. It is equipped with Wi-Fi, smart TV, books and games. The dining area has a table and chairs for cosy evenings in. Even though there is underfloor heating, there is also a woodburning effect electric fire to keep it cosy on those autumn/winter evenings. The shaker style kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops, ceramic hob, oven with grill, extractor fan, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and food processor. There is also a laundry rack, ironing board and iron. Stairs take you up to the large open plan bedroom. Please note there is no door separating the downstairs from the upstairs, but there is a door to the WC! There is a huge luxury power shower, towel rail, basin and mirror. The whole house has a douglas fir wooden frame which adds much character to this newly built barn conversion. There are two large Velux windows with blackout blinds, one of which has a beautiful sea view. Little Bream has two areas for sitting out; a table and chairs to enjoy breakfast al fresco on the lawn to the east, and on the other side of the barn a gravelled area with BBQ, as well as a high table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine whilst the sun sets to the west. There is a dedicated car parking space for 'Little Bream'. We are eco friendly with an air source heat pump providing underfloor heating and plenty of hot water, and we have our own sewage treatment plant. Please note that when we have clicked yes to 'Air Con' it is a mechanical ventilation heat recovery system. Towels, bedding and T towels are all included
Meudon is a small hamlet consisting of a small dairy farm, a few pretty cottages, a hotel with beautiful grounds to the sea and a great bar and restaurant. Our most famous residents are Arthur, Avis, Maureen and Mavis, our beautiful peacocks who roam around the hamlet and as of September 2017 we have two little peacock babies (chickpeas) running around too. Within ten minutes walk is the pretty village of Mawnan Smith with its thatched pub, fantastic Spanish Tapas restaurant, fabulous cafe 'The Cornish Maid', and two shops. Trebah and Glendurgan gardens are both within 5 mins drive from 'Little Bream'. In the opposite direction is Maenporth beach, with its award winning restaurant 'The Cove', beach cafe, watersports rentals, and beautiful sandy beach. We are also 10-15 minutes walk from Bream Cove, our little secret, so shhhhh don't tell everyone! A simply beautiful place to swim, and relatively undiscovered......
  • Really lovely cosy place to take long walks and close enough to great restaurants and pubs!!

    Jez2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little play to stay! Very cosy and clean, there is lots of games to play and Charlotte has left lots of very useful recommendations! The walks along the near by beach are a must!

    Jess2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great property in a spectacular location. I appreciated the fact that, due to the air source heat pump and the electric appliances, the barn has a relatively low impact on the environment. It's a beautiful area that can be appreciated without using your car with numerous beaches and other amenities within easy walking distance.

The Garden Studio is a perfect place for anyone looking for a bit of peace and quiet away from it all in our beautiful part of Cornwall. With studio style accommodation - open plan kitchen/sitting room with a double bed hidden behind a massive curtain, fully equipped kitchen, wood burning stove, underfloor heating, separate bathroom with walk in shower. The Garden Studio also has TV, wi-fi and internet access. Outside is a private enclosed patio with table and chairs (a bit of a sun trap in the evenings). The Garden Studio also comes fully equipped with bedding, towels and tea and biscuits and wood for the fire. We are mid way between Falmouth and Constantine with lovely walks all around. The South West Coast path and the beautiful Helford River are under 10 minutes drive away. Falmouth is a buzzing, vibrant town with great beaches, eating places, galleries and shops. Constantine has a very good late opening Spar Shop and The Constantine Stores with a very well known and very well stocked whisky and wineshop, a weekend bakery, monthly farmers markets and the highly recommended Tolmen Centre - with a full programme of theatre, film and music. The Trengilly Wartha Pub, Port Navas Yacht Club (open to non members), The Ferry Boat Inn and The Potager Gardens are nearby and serve delicious, home cooked food all year round. Falmouth University Campus is a 5 minute drive away - handy if you have a student to visit! Limited public transport is available from our hamlet of Treverva into Falmouth and Penryn. There is wonderful walking, sailing, surfing, kayaking, SUP and swimming on and around the Helford, with beautiful beaches close by on the south and north coast. We are also surrounded by wonderful National Trust Properties - Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens being the closest.
We are situated between Falmouth and the beautiful Helford River. It's a lovely quiet spot and a great place to unwind, relax and explore. Falmouth is a very vibrant town, on the sea, full of great cafes, bars, shops and ferries across the water to St Mawes, the Fal River and the Helford. The almost subtropical Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens are 10 minutes drive. Beaches, walks, surf, sail, paddleboard all within 10 minutes of here. Messing around on boats on the Helford or surfing on the Lizard or North Coast is a joy and hearty walks along the coast path. Or just sitting in front of the wood burning stove with a book or film for a relaxing few days away.
  • Well thought out, beautifully built , and an amazing place to stay. This such a wonderful little hideaway.

    Jo2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible home, fully equipped with all you needed and more. The photos on air bnb do not do the beauty of this little studio justice. Antionia was a pleasure to meet, and kept in regular contact with us, the apartment was clean, warm, the shower was lovely! The bed was the comfiest air bnb bet I've stayed in for a long time. Location was ideal; out of the way, but only a short car journey to Falmouth, or Lizard. Plenty of things to do, and places to eat near by, not that you needed to because the kitchen had an oven and a hob. My only regret is I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you

    Annabel2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, beautiful studio, nice nature, cosy stove :) Conversation with host was very easy and friendly. Studio is decorated with love, very clean and well equipped. Location is great to visit everything in Cornwall. Falmouth is just a few minutes by car away but the studio is in the middle of typical Cornish landscape.

  • We had a lovely stay in Emily’s beautiful cottage. It was cold and wet whilst we were there but we were super cosy in the very well equipped cottage. Constantine is a great base for local walks and those further afield. Our dog Bertie had a great time too! We will definitely be booking another longer stay next year.

    Carole2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at Emily’s place. It was so comfortable, lovely sofa and bed. Sky tv and a cute kitchen, although we ate out so didn’t make much use of it! Constantine village is so cute with every house having a lit up Christmas tree outside and decorations everywhere. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again. Thank you!

A traditional Cornish stone built cottage, situated directly on the SW Coast path. Stunning, panoramic sea views and just 3 minute stroll into the unspoilt village of Coverack. Large double room with impressive sea views in a comfortable house full of period features. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Not suitable for children.
The cottage is situated on the South West Coast path and is therefore perfect for walkers. Stunning sea views in a traditional cottage full of period features. It is a 3 minute walk to the village, which has shops, cafes, restaurants and a pub. We serve a traditional English breakfast every morning - although all dietary requirements are catered for. We have parking. The house is very old and has uneven floors, steep stairs and the parking area behind the house is accessed by 2 flights of uneven, gravel covered steps - it is therefore unsuitable for small children. The bathroom and toilet are downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs.
It is very peaceful and beautiful in Coverack. It is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Although there is a very good pub, a couple of shops and a couple of very good restaurants in the village, Coverack retains it's timeless, unspoilt charm. Coverack is a very good base from which to explore the Lizard Peninsula - either by foot on the SW Coast path or by car. As we are on the Southernmost tip of England, you are almost guaranteed some sunshine every day - even in the Winter. The climate is very gentle and frosts are virtually unknown in Coverack. The village has been featured recently on the BBC 'Countryfile' programme.
  • Zoe and George's hospitality was out of this world! The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and they were able to accommodate our very early departure. The town is perfect to escape the city. The cosy room and feather topped bed/duvet has left us with the best rest in months. Thank you!

  • We had a very pleasant stay at Zoe & George's place, and the fact that their place is located along the South West Coast Path was convenient for us. And the breakfast was amazing!

  • Zoe and George were great hosts. They were so helpful and courteous and gave us many tips for activities in the area. Their dogs and cats are lovely and good-natured. The breakfast was amazing. Our room had a wonderful sea-view which we really enjoyed. The house is situated right next to the South West Coast Path and just a view minutes walk away from the village center with a nice pub and and cafe. Thanks for having us!

  • Zoe and George gave me a warm welcome, their relaxed and friendly approach made me feel right at home. Their cottage, and the room I stayed in, has a fabulous view of the sea. I had everything I needed, and the sound of the waves lulled me into a great night's sleep in the big, comfy bed. A delicious breakfast set me up for my onward journey the next day. Lovely spot. Recommended.

  • The cottage is very quaint and cosy (the view from the window is amazing). We recommend taking a walk on the coast path right in front of the house. Breakfast was very good and fulfilling. Zoe and George were extremely friendly and shared great local tips. George helped me drive the car up to their place which made me incredibly grateful as it's quite hilly.

Beautiful open space in a beautiful part of South Cornwall. 10 minutes to the coast at Anthony Point and local Helford resort. Truly the hidden secret gem of Cornwall
Open space in the country near the sea
Very rural location about 8 miles from Helston. Close to Frenchman's Creek, Helford, Lizard Point and Kynance with wonderful walks and outstanding views. Major suppliers can deliver locally if needed.
  • A lovely house in a remote location with great views. The room was very comfortable with tea/coffee and bottled water supplied. Martin and Sarah were marvelous hosts and I felt very at home and relaxed during my stay. Very good value for money.

    Kathy2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah and Martin are very friendly and welcoming hosts. Conversation came easily and they show a genuine interest in their guests. Without sounding cheesy we arrived as guests and left as friends. Would highly recommend and great value for the price, (especially with the garden view!).

  • Nice place and very friendly hosts. Good value for money!

  • Lovely room and such a comfy bed. Martin and Sarah were so welcoming, and took pity on me and gave me some food as I’d walked miles there only to find the local pub doesn’t serve food on a Sunday eve!! Great cereal and toast breakfast, just what I needed.

    Alison2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in Martin's lovely spacious, quirky, informal and rural home, with fabulous views over the surrounding countryside. The room was spacious, with a comfy bed, bottled water and facilities to make tea and coffee. The powerful shower (great views from the bathroom!) was very refreshing after a long day's walk on the SW Coast path. Martin's home is very rural, but convenient for footpaths into Manaccan and down to Helford with its ferry. We found it easily on foot thanks to his supplementary directions, so do ask! We enjoyed a lovely evening meal at the local inn, now owned by the community.

  • I definitely recommend this place to everyone. The room was luxury and cozy. Much better than having hotel. Martin was really kind to me and her wife was also very kind. They kindly recommended some places to visit. I really liked to stay in Martins house. Thank you , Martin !!

  • This is my second stay with Martin and Sarah and I really can’t recommend them enough. Their location close to the lizard, kynance, and all of Cornwall is fantastic. The view is also one of the most beautiful that you’ll find and enjoying it every morning and evening is wonderful. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking an evening bath after a long day of hiking and looking out the window watching the sunset. As long as they keep doing Airbnb I will definitely continue to stay with them when I visit Cornwall.

    Jamie2019-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very enjoyable stay. Great hospitality and plenty of useful local information about where to visit in tbe local area.

At the heart of the Lizard village stands a 13th century church, famous for it's ornate woodwork decorating the end of the each pew and depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament. Local fisherman still work in the harbour to land fabulous fresh seafood, some of which is then served in the local pubs and restaurants. There is sailing at Falmouth or on the beautiful Helford river and it also has picturesque village and lovely pub with the ferry across to Trebah Gardens, and Frenchman's Creek (Daphne du Maurier- ‘Rebecca'). • This place really is a luxury retreat away from home, with everything you need plus more. There were some thoughtful touches such as the cookies, milk, coffee and bottle of wine. The fire and hot tub are what topped it off for us. Very remote location but just what we were after. Would definitely stay again.

    Paul2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely property for a get away for two, out of the way from the busyness of life. Cosy property with a fire in the living space, bedroom a little small but manageable for a short time away. Perfectly clean with a nice bathroom and stylish kitchen. A little disappointed by the lack of privacy when in the hot tub outside as it overlooks onto the parking area shared by another couple holiday properties. Other than that no issues and will happily stay again.

    Rhys2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely beautiful, stunning location and the hot tub was definitely the icing on the cake! Bed was super comfy and we definitely appreciated the under floor heating!

Great location within the village, tucked just off the street providing seclusion and a little protection from the worst of the winter weather. Lynette couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. • Fletching Manor is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and lived up to our expectations. It’s a great place for longer stays and so close to the coastal path if you enjoy walking. We visited for two weeks during November and the weather was very wet. We appreciated such a comfortable, warm, dry place, especially after our outings in the rain. The couple who manage the cottage are very helpful and on hand should you need anything.

  • Five star luxury on a Cornish cliff top and within walking distance of the coastal path. You won’t be disappointed!

    Lisa2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely house. We had a week at Manor Fletching which was idyllic. The big kitchen/diner/lounge works well. All the facilities like ovens, shower, heating work easily and reliably. Things like underfloor heating and a ready to go hot tub help. Getting to to cottage is down tiny Cornish roads, and the nearest shop is a 5-10 minute drive away, but if you want to get away from it all this is a very special place.

A short drive will take you to Gear farm where you can grab a pasty and then carry on to Tremayne quay for another lovely walk.
  • Fantastic place stunning location..a real gem...would definitely recommend

  • Great place and just a stunning location. The hosts could do enough for us and made our weekend very comfortable. We loved using the canoe and what an amazing view from the bedroom. Penpoll comes highly recommended.

  • We had a great time at Linda's place: from the king size bed to the continental/English breakfast, everything was perfect! We even had the chance to spot some nice birds in the creek at the back of the house.

    Justine2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • It is hard to imagine a more idyllic location that this, particularly when the tide is in! The accomodation was spotlessly clean and we had an amazing view onto Gillan Creek from the bedroom. Linda and Tony were very welcoming and gave us some useful recommendations for nearby evening food - The New Inn is a pleasant 10 minute walk away along a woodland path. We visited whilst walking the SW Coast path, and found this cottage to be ideally situated for a stop between Coverack and Falmouth.

    Alex2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend this property as a base for exploring the Lizard. The setting is magical - the property sits right on the creek, with views over the water and the woods beyond. The garden is the perfect spot to enjoy the scenery and wildlife in the sunshine but, if it's raining, you can still enjoy an uninterrupted view from the bedroom window. The annex itself is spotless, spacious and light. Linda and Tony are extremely welcoming, and have great local knowledge to share. The final word must go to the food - Linda makes a truly fabulous breakfast and the pasty dinner is a must! I could have spend much longer at Penpoll. I would love to return to the Lizard and, if so, would absolutely stay at Penpoll again.

    Alexandra2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place in a beautiful location. Outdoor sitting area is wonderful. Very narrow/windy roads in this part of the world!

The hot tub was an added bonus - we spent every evening there! Beautiful cottage, very clean and tidy, very spacious! Will definitely be returning!

  • Had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful home. The modern touches to the building look stunning from the outside and the hot tub, heated pool and sauna area were definitely a luxury. Having a car is useful as nearest shops/town are a little drive away. The space was so relaxing and peaceful at all times - can’t fault it.

    Maura2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful modern cottage setting in gorgeous, tranquil woodland/countryside surroundings with lovely onsite pool and other facilities. Cottage was clean and very spacious for two and our little baby. Had everything you need (beds made and towels provided etc ) just need to bring your own self-catering basics if you're staying longer than 1 night; tea, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper etc as only a small amount supplied. Perfect location to explore the area - Falmouth really close as well as a selection of beautiful beaches. Pool area was an added bonus and surrounded by beautiful oak trees and the hot tub and sauna were lovely and hot!

    Katie2018-06-10T00:00:00Z

  • A fantastic place for a peaceful holiday. Beautifully appointed and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners.

    Janine2019-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Really gorgeous cottage on the Lizard. It's as beautiful as shown on the pictures. Great getaway from the city. Kids loved the animals and the garden. Good location to go on small trips (e.g. Trebah gardens, beaches, St. Michael's Mount) and about 20mins by car to next bigger city. Simon and Alex were very welcoming and we enjoyed the fresh eggs and home-made jam. Definitely a recommendation!

    Christian2019-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cob Cottage is a beautifully furnished and decorated cottage in a lovely quiet and peaceful setting. It was spotlessly clean and the extra touches of fresh flowers and scones with homemade jam awaiting us on our arrival were very welcoming. We also enjoyed playing table tennis in the games room and appreciated the useful utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. I would recommend this cottage to both couples and families.

    Heather2018-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone thinking of a holiday on the Lizard. The location is perfect for exploring all this beautiful area of the country has to offer, from beaches to charming towns. The accommodation itself is perfectly appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable and with everything we needed. The setting was glorious, and the hosts have clearly given a deal of thought to the comfort and convenience of their guests. Their hosting style is relaxed and friendly and we felt very welcome. We took 2 dogs and enjoyed having a patch of garden for them to safely roam, as well as access to the land around the cottage itself. Thank you for making our time away such a pleasure, we didn't want to leave!

    Maddie2018-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Cob Cottage, which is as cosy as shown in the pictures. Simon is a great host and gave us really good tips on places to visit. We also loved meeting the donkeys, the piglets and the lively dogs, for a perfect rural retreat. Only thing... 1 week wasn't enough to discover beautiful Cornwall.... We must come back!

  • Robs place is hard to find but recognisable by the white wash building with green gables and is approached through a wooden gate. Opens up to a little bit of cornish magic. We had a suite rather than a room and were very comfortable. Rob had all the fires roaring and it was cosy and warm. He greeted us with porridge and toast and tea in the morning. All very nice 😊

    Eloise2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space, very large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and lovely views. Wonderfully quiet and restful. I enjoyed a chat with Rob over a cup of tea but did miss having my own tea making facilities in the room.

  • What a gem! We had such a great time here - the space is a lot bigger than you think and has so many lovely touches. Great facilities, the shower especially! Lisa greeted us on arrival and gave us some tips on where to go for dinner, we had a lovely evening meal at the local Trengilly Wartha Inn on Lisa's recommendation! The outside space was really special, overlooking the lovely garden - though still feeling like your own space. Location wonderful too, the picturesque village of Port Navas just a short walk away. We would love to come back in the summer and really enjoy the long evenings here!

  • Such a wonderful little cottage. When we stayed it was wet and windy, but it was just lovely being cosy inside next to the fire. Immaculately clean & very nicely decorated.

    Ben2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Peaceful small but very comfortable space, surrounded by attractive woods and countryside, good walks on the door step.

    Alison2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem of a place. Hidden away in a beautiful part of Cornwall. A private and secluded space with everything you need. The log burner was the highlight. Easy walk to port Navas for dinner at the Yacht Club and not too far walking to Helford Passage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. Great hospitality.

    Ellen2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend you staying here!

    Joanna2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Loved it here, so pretty and peaceful. We spent our couple of days here mostly walking and exploring the local area and it's great for that. Would happily return.

My place is close to great views. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the location, the people, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
Just yards from the beach in this tranquil, quintessential Cornish fishing village, an enchanting detached stone studio. Close to beautiful coastal walks leading around the Lizard peninsula and along the shoreline of the Helford River. Full of character with a mezzanine double bed area enjoying glimpses of the sea, kitchenette, living area and a shower/utility room, packing everything one would need into a perfectly formed space. Ideally located with a tranquil part of Cornwall yet close proximity to the Helford River, Helston, Lizard Peninsula. Nearby attractions include Goonhilly, Trelowarren, Roskilly's and local diving at Polkerris. Great for short or long breaks away from the city. Ideal for those who want quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of work and traffic noise. From the Cornish meaning 'port at the end of the moor', Porthallow's history has always been inextricably linked with the sea. A former thriving Pilchard port, small fishing boats are still hauled onto the beach to this day. A number of buildings in the village also exhibit tell tale signs of the industry, if a little less obvious to the casual observer - The Association's Institute building is sighted over a former pilchard cellar! Set in the heart of the small fishing village of Porthallow with the beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The South West Coast Path is just 50 metres from the studio, offering excellent coastal views across Falmouth Bay to St. Anthony's Head, and a beautiful walk to Gillan Creek and the Helford River. Porthallow beach is used by local fishermen, and it is possible to drive onto the beach to launch canoes and dinghies. The local pub, The Five Pilchards, offers a warm welcome to visitors and there is a craft shop with locally made pottery. The village shops in St Keverne, just a couple of miles away, offer comprehensive supplies. The local wildlife is abundant, with buzzards circling over the valley and seals occasionally visiting the bay. The Old Stable is in probably one of the most peaceful spots in Cornwall, and offers the opportunity for a truly relaxing holiday by the sea.
  • Very quick to respond and very friendly - the tiny house is absolutely adorable and the moving stairs were so fun! Would love to come back at some point in the future!

  • What a lovely little get away! Hope's place is perfect for a little weekend away and is in a secluded, quiet place. Such wonderful touches such as homemade bread and cakes! We particularly loved the massive shower, underfloor heating and cosy wood burner. The pond was lovely to sit by and we were met by some lovely little koi fish! Hope met us when we arrived and was polite and cheerful! Brilliant communication before the trip and also gave us clear directions to the house. Overall, this is the perfect place for anyone wanting to get away for a little weekend or a week! Clean, well equipped and cosy!

    Meah2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Hope's house is the perfect place to unwind and explore the coast. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed super comfortable and the whole place is very stylish. Hope baked some fresh bread for us which was delicious. And all her restaurant recommendations were spot on. We tried The Greenhouse in St Keverne and The Prince of Wales in Newtown in St Martin. Would definitely recommend.

  • The place was beyond what we expected! It was extremely clean and stylish and super cosy and it had all the amenities you need, including underfloor heating, super comfortable bed, and even all the essentials to cook our meals. Hope made us cakes and bread that were delicious, and the movies, music and games collection was a nice touch. Perfect for a winter stay during the chilly months (we visited in February). The location is also really good for exploring Cornwall and the hosts were helpful with giving us tips on what to visit. I would definitely like to return!

  • This is a great spot to camp and the facilities are modern and immaculately clean. The location feels very rural when you’re there but is also well connected to the main road. Shane’s directions were great. The countryside view is lovely to wake up to and we hope to be able to come and stay again!

  • Lovely spot with great views and nice to be able to have a fire.

    Martin2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location. Shane is a lovely host and very helpful, providing many tips on local attractions and eating locations. Just a few notes that might be helpful for other travellers: - The field is on a slope, orient your tent the appropriate direction to minimise rolling off your bed! - I'm unsure how many pitches Shane offers, but there were 4 (inc us) when we arrived, which dropped to 3 during the week, but increased to 5 on the final day (x-over day I assume). Be aware that even with 3 pitches, only having 1 toilet and 1 shower you may have a wait for facilities. - There is no power on the actual field as you might expect, but there are plugs in the toilet suitable for phone charging.

  • This place is a perfect camping place. Shane allows campfires, has a good kitchen clean-up place, clean shower, and level field to pitch a tent. The favorite was hearing the children giggling on the trampoline. It was a lovely time!

    Sandra2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and very easy

    Geraint2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very peaceful camping with beautiful views on the surrounding fields and sea (when the weather's good). Toilet and shower were very clean. I got a very warm welcome from Shane and good tips on things to do in the neigbourhood. Thanks for the lovely stay!

  • Host was very friendly and accommodating, the site was quaint with fire pits and some chickens (not together). We had a lovely stay and would recommend this site!

Located in the pretty rural village of Constantine, Nurses forms the self contained annex to The Old Doctors House. The property has its own entrance and parking space and is positioned in the centre of the village. Constantine offers a great centre for a holiday or short break and the village has local shops, a local pub and highly renowned Arts centre. The village is approximately 1 mile from the Helford River, and 5 miles from Falmouth. Nearby are the renowned Trebah Gardens
  • Sara’s annexe is excellent. Very clean and finished to a high quality. Superb bathroom, comfortable beds and great kitchen. Very dog friendly too and Sara is very friendly and welcoming. Constantine is a great base from which to explore Cornwall.

  • We stayed at the Nurses for a week over the new year and it was such a relaxing break. Sara and Richard are wonderful hosts and helped us a lot with the local beaches, walks and most importantly - pubs! The place is very spacious and comfortable and would certainly visit again in the future.

  • I would recommend Sara and her Annex to anyone. She is a fantastic host, nothing is too much trouble. The Annex is perfect , everything that you require is included for a great stay. Will definitely be back.

A self catering detached holiday bungalow close to the sea and harbour. Private parking. Patio with table and chairs. Well equipped kitchen. Less than half a mile from SW coast path, so great for walkers. Coverack is a small village on the Lizard peninsula.
The space is a self contained bungalow close to the harbour village of Coverack. You will have your own private space. The bungalow is within walking distance of the village amenities and beach.
Coverack in Cornwall is a picturesque old fishing village set on the Lizard peninsula. It is steeped in character and history. Coverack has a lovely beach which is mixed sand, pebbles and shingle. There is a walled harbour that you can walk round and sit to relax and enjoy the view and unique climate. The coastal path is easily accessible from both ends of the village. It has a pub, cafe, two small shops, excellent fish and chips and an ice cream shop which also does take away food in the summer season and a hotel.
  • Little Chyreen was exactly what we wanted. Snug and in a great location to explore the lizard - and Coverack is a beautiful little village. Jan and Anth (who are both lovely) have a whole guide of things to do / places to see including a set of menus from some of the best places to eat around Coverack. The cream tea on arrival was delicious and a really sweet touch. Thanks for having us!!

  • we loved our short stay at Little Chyreen... an ideal spot for visiting Coverack and touring the surrounding area. We were blessed with gorgeous weather.... and had a thoroughly delightful time. Jan and Anth are lovely hosts... always available if you if you needed them, but otherwise left to ourselves. Thank you.

  • Jam's home is friendly and attentive. We spent two very pleasant days in this small fishing port so quiet and friendly.

    Serge2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely spacious homely annex close to Coverack village centre

    Tracey2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Small house with everything you need and the view of the sea is beautiful!

    Tijm2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Little Chyreen is the perfect place if you want to explore Cornwall. The area it’s in, Coverack, is beautiful and well-equipped with a few little cafes and restaurants right by the sea. We found it was an easy drive to most of the main attractions around Cornwall (as much as you can see in a few days anyway!). The place is perfectly self-contained with a kitchen, bathroom, living room, Sky box, wifi. There were so many thoughtful touches and notes around the place from Jan, which made us feel very welcome. Would happily stay again!

    Sophie2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Little Chyreen is a lovely small guesthouse. Perfect for two people. Easy walking distance to the beach and local pubs. Highly recommend the boat house cafe. The food was outstanding especially the fish and chips and chicken masala ! A perfect place to have a quiet relaxing few days away. Many Thanks to Jan & Anth

  • A well decorated, clean and comfortable cottage which we thoroughly enjoyed staying in. Would definitely stay again.

  • Value for money was phenomenal. Dog friendly is always a bonus and it's far enough away from falmouth to be quiet, but close enough to satisfy
