A really good night in Evelyn appartement with really confortable beds and enough space for 4 people. It's really fonctionnal appartement and Evelyn was so kind she provides us breakfast. The sea is 5 minutes walking and we can enjoy the beautiful little city. I warmly recommand.

The place was clean and the host was really sweet and helpful. The house was cosy. But I would not recommend this to old people or with infants as the stairs to room was too small to even climb. It was very hard to carry the luggage upstairs.

This AirBnB flat is incredibly good value and finished to a high standard with lots of modern conveniences and features (the photos do not do it justice!); it really does feel like a home away from home. The location is great; just minutes away from the beach and ideally located for exploring further afield - using Sharon's as a base you are never far from many great places to explore however there is also still plenty of great places to visit and things to do locally. Sharon was a top host, very flexible and friendly in her communication; nothing was too much hassle for her and the pack she provides is very comprehensive. I really recommend this AirBnB, it will not disappoint!

Lovely spotless flat in quiet lower largo. Was perfect for our stay and Sharon was really helpful providing all the info we needed and we felt very welcome, especially when we found some treats in the fridge on our arrival. Highly recommend

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location. Lots of space and so also ideal for families.

We had a lovely short stay at this house, which had everything we needed and was in a great location for exploring the surrounding area. Very quiet and although there was no private parking, on-street parking was easy enough. Check-in process was simple, and the only issue we had was the TV not working (Lyn did however try and get it fixed when we brought it to her attention - it was just unfortunate that we were there over a weekend so she was unable to get it repaired during our stay).

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunny Sands. It's a beautiful spacious house with lots of character and in a great spot to explore the fishing villages of Fife and St Andrews. We would stay here again without hesitation. The communication with Lyn was easy and smooth.

Sunny Sands is a charming property with everything you need. The beach is beautiful and right on the doorstep. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back soon.

This listing is a holiday rental and not a typical Airbnb experience. The key was in a key safe and we were not met on arrival or departure by anyone. The location of the house is great close to the beach and to the bakers and corner shop. The interior of the house is below the standard of other properties I have stayed at with Airbnb, hence the 3 stars.

we had a marvellous few days at sunny sands , house was just lovely , beach was fab so clean and private .The location was perfect to travel to St Andrews , Elie and Anstruther aswell.... great butcher / baker shop a couple of minutes walk away , locals were so friendly and welcoming ... hope to return ...

Great house and location for our holiday

Derek's house is ideally located in a great area. It is adequately set up for limited self catering. Set back from the road so traffic noise is not intrusive. We enjoyed our stay here. Very nice be able to take some time in the summer house in the evening and enjoy the view.

Fab studio type granny apartment - quite priavte even as an annexe to the main house. Looks even better than photoa and Derek kindly not only let us in when we arrived late at night but also took us to the station when we checked out. Gorgeous spot just before you get to Cupar with a beautiful big garden that our dog loved running around in with great views of the waterfront. Studio apt had everything you could possibly want including a few lovely touches in the bathroom and kitchen - great place to come for some R&R. Closest shops about a 10-15 min walk but you can also get a bus from just outside the house which takes you into Cupar for more choice. Lovely little quiet piece of golfer's paradise indeed

As the announcement is a comfortable house situated very close to the sea in a quiet area near Leven. While it is not very large, it is well distributed on one floor so it is very convenient. He had everything: books, games, TV, fully equipped kitchen ... Alister left the house ready to make us comfortable and with a full breakfast so that we care for it the first day.

Alistair was a great host. He made us feel very welcomed, help us to find the location when we got a bit lost. He gave us platly of games for the kids, books, and places to go vist. The area was very quite, but friendly when you meet the people, they too will help you when you ask.

We had a wonderful week in this cosy well equipped cottage in the lovely East Neuk of Fife. Great home in a great location for a grand family holiday.

Very nice little cottage,clean and comfortable. Close to stores and bus stops, just a short walk to the water. Neighbourhood very quiet and friendly, but I have a lot of family in the area so that may have played a role! Reasonably priced, nice gift basket for us when we arrived- thanks Alistair! To use as a home base it was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay at the "Wee White Cottage" and would recommend it

And to sit wrapped in the cozy throw in the armchair gazing out to sea beyond the garden wall with the seal bobbing by in the early morning tide was very restorative. i had the wee single room which was delightful. A very tall person might feel cramped but i thought it was charming.

This place was ideal for our weekend away and had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to be able to sit out on the garden terrace and enjoy a chilled glass of wine in the evening sunshine. Location was great. A short walk to the picturesque harbour and pub in one direction. And round the corner from a great bakery and butcher. We'll be back!

This is a truly great place. The location is excellent, just next to the ocean. We have two kids (4 and 7 years old) and they could easily go down to the shore and play. Anne-Marie greeted us in a very nice way with a cake, and it was clearly so that she cared about our well-being. There were books, toys and other such things available in the cottage, which we appreciated. With all the things there, it felt like a home, though for people who wants to have plenty of space around them, it may feel a bit overcrowded.

Just returned from a Girls 2 night break at Rockpool Cottage - what an amazing time we had. Rockpool is fantastic; quirky, extremely cosy, comfortable (especially the beds) and spotlessly clean. Anne-Marie, is an extremely friendly and helpful host - had quite a few correspondences before our arrival, all answered almost immediately and so friendly that I felt I'd known Anne-Marie All my life! :-) On arrival we we're delighted to find a little welcome note and homemade scones and raspberry jam, deeeeeelicious! :-) Cottage is ideally located right on beach, we wrapped up well for the chilly night and sat out on patio furniture, wee glass in hand listen got the waves crashing in...so relaxing. Lower Largo itself is very quiet, just what we were looking for. Had a lovely meal in Crusoe Hotel and few drinks in Railway Inn.

You feel immediately at home. A Cordial mood. Small place with a lot of charm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rockpool. The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The outdoor area is lovely, and we were fortunate to have brilliant weather to make the most of it. Ann Marie was a great host - very welcoming and friendly.

Anne Marie is a wonderful host and she really made us special on the few days we had in lower largo. The house is great and in idyllic setting in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. If you haven't paid a visit to East Neuk then you really should, and I couldn't think of a better place to spend a few days than this little cottage.

We spent two nights in the East Neuk at Anne-Marie's beautiful flat overlooking the beach at Lower Largo. We were kept informed fully on the lead up to the visit, welcomed with some lovely homemade foodstuffs on our arrival and all throughout our time there, were assured by our host that if we need anything just to ask. Anne-Marie is a fabulous host, friendly and interested but not intrusive. The accommodation is glorious and was perfect for our group of 3. I would thoroughly recommend this spot for a short break at any time of the year.

If anyone wants a quiet & peaceful stay in Fife within striking distance of Edinburgh this is the place to be. I do hope we will return someday.

Beautiful house in a lovely location. Looks just as good as it does in the photos and is fresh and bright with some great touches. Great for a young family and our daughter loved the 3rd floor "Craws Nest" room. Nice touches like basics in the cupboards so you do have to take/buy spices oil etc if cooking at home. Great to be left an Easter egg too! The garden out the back is great for small children and the shed is filled with everything from a bbq, scooters, fishing nets and toys. Lower Largo is a great little village and is well placed for exploring the East Neuk of Fife and St Andrews and there is plenty to do for everyone. Kids loved Craigtoun Country Park and Aquarium in St Andrews. All in all a great few days away, just a shame it was so short... I've no doubt we'll be back.

What a lovely cottage! My husband and I had a great stay - everything was provided for our comfort and the setting was gorgeous. I loved that we could walk out the front door and be by the sea straight away. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning on visiting Fife!

Jennifer's flat is lovely and we so enjoyed our stay in Lower Largo! The flat is on three floors with a spacious lounge, eating area and kitchen downstairs, a roomy bedroom with comfy bed and large bathroom upstairs, and a second bedroom in the "crow's nest" on the top floor (it was just the two of us, so we didn't use the twin beds in the second bedroom). Everything is just as pictured in the photos, and Jennifer has done a great job decorating the flat and making it bright and welcoming! Very clean with everything you could possibly need for cooking great meals, relaxing with friends, or enjoying walks on the stunning beach (accessed just across the road—about a 30-second walk). Jennifer left staples--tea, sugar, oil, condiments, etc., and household items (plenty of paper towels, plastic wrap, bags, etc.), and even provided beach towels! Although we were too busy to use it, there is a small garden with a barbecue behind the flat. There is a shop on the corner for essentials, and we were always able to find street parking near the flat. The area is lovely, and there are many interesting things to see in addition to the many golf courses! A 20-minute drive through stunning countryside to St. Andrews. Also, Scotland's Secret Bunker, several National Trust and Historic Scotland properties, and the East Neuk walking trail. Jennifer was prompt and helpful in response to our inquiries, and check-in was a breeze. We hope to return to this lovely flat on our next trip to Scotland!

A beautiful, clean little cottage, exactly what we needed it for! It is situated in a lovely village with a nice pub with the most amazing view of the sea. The cottage was very clean and well kept with everything you will need . Brilliant host, responded quickly to messages and questions and the key collection was quick and easy. The only thing is the ceiling is very low in the top bedroom with not a lot of privacy as there is no door at the bottom of the stairs between bedrooms. However the host did let me know of this before confirming the booking. Would highly recommend this stunning cosy cottage !!

Cardy Crossing Cottage is a wonderful place to find some peace and recharge. The cottage is clean, well-equipped and tastefully furnished. It coped well with five of us - two adults and three teenage girls. The best feature for us was it's proximity to the beach and the Fife Coastal Path which we enjoyed walking. Our girls loved the beach and shell collecting - and, of course, the availability of wifi! Claudine's communication was excellent and swift. Clearly the Cottage is well serviced too. Lower Largo is a small village - we found the service at the local shop friendly and helpful. Didn't go to the local pubs, but would recommend the Wee Chippy in Anstruther for really good Haddock and Chips. Only complication we experienced was recycling - it all had to be taken some distance to Leven (post code of waste centre provided in Cottage) but it's a bit of a trek. However, this would definitely not put us off going again. Thanks very much for a great opportunity to retreat.

Lovely cottage! We had a fantastic few days staying here. Even got some sunshine.... Perfect for being able to travel to the surrounding areas for days out, as well as being comfortable enough to chill out in the evenings. Handy pub at the end of the road was a bonus!

Claudine was an excellent host, with mega-fast replies to any questions from ourselves and our booking request. Really helpful. The cottage was perfect for us and as described - two good sized and comfortable bedrooms with double beds and two bunk beds in the third bedroom. Nice lounge area and some lovely decor and arty touches. Really is less than a minute's walk to the sea. It's best to walk to the harbour area and two pubs in Lower Largo as it has narrow, winding streets and a one way system, but that's just a few minutes pleasant stroll.

What a fantastic property! Excellent location and beautifully presented. 2 seconds walk to beach and a short stroll to local pub/hotel The Crusoe, which served the best steak pie ever ! The house was warm (log burner was fab!), so comfy and had loads of things to occupy us all - books, games, tv, etc. The beach is excellent and clean - covered in amazing shells and rock pools. Kids didnt want to leave!

This is a comfortable and spacious place. For two grandparents, two parents and two young children it was fine. The youngsters (two and four) were delighted to be so close to the beach. An extra pair of grandparents might have made the place feel crowded as there isn't really a room in which a full complement of adults could be together. Those who have little children might want to know that the twin room and two other bedrooms are downstairs. There is room in the twin room for a travel cot. The kitchen, dining room, sitting room and one bedroom are at street level (upstairs). By comparison with many B&Bs we have stayed in, there is little information about the area. Although we had two cars, the single parking space outside the cottage was not a problem as the public car park is only a couple of minutes walk away. When we arrived, there was no Internet access but Frances responded with speed and energy to get it fixed. Many thanks. Our communications before our visit were rapid, friendly and constructive. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return with the same size of party, we would not want to be in a bigger group.

We had a lovely stay at Lundin Links. It was very central for St Andrews, Edinburgh and the little harbour villages along the coast. Denise provided a lovely spacious house and garden. Our puppy particularly enjoyed the flat garden and the walks taken to the beach. Our children particularly enjoyed the toys in the playroom and the playhouse and swings in the garden. I loved the variety of books and maps provided for both adults and children. Thanks ever so much for allowing us to use your home.

We wanted to stay in Fife close to a beach and the beach at Lundin Links is close to this property and fantastic. My kids really enjoyed playing there. It was so quiet too. Denise sent lots of useful information through in advance. Everything was really helpful. The house is perfect for a family holiday. It is spacious and comfortable and was ideal for myself, my partner and three kids, plus Granny and Grandpa - there were enough rooms and beds for us all. There are loads of toys, children's books, DVDs and board games. There is no TV but we played DVDs on our laptop with a projector and brought an iPad as there is WIFI. The garden is also great for families - there is a treehouse and slide and big trampoline and we also played tennis! The weather was not always brilliant but there are plenty of wet weather options nearby and we even went to Edinburgh (about an hour away) to the festival. We really enjoyed our stay and Denise was a great host.

Great base. Parking is only potential issue, but spaces across the road and space to unload at the door. Lower largo is nice on its own with great beach, nice pub, shop & restaurant in the hotel.

Just perfect, better than we expected. We have been in the house 4 adults and 2 children. The house is perfect for 6 people, bright and has everything we needed, we would have loved to stay more days. Good location for our routes. All very clean and new.

Superb spot, 20 minutes drive from the famous St. Andrews golfcourses. Quiet, almost on the beach. The apartment has been refurbished recently, looks great.

We found Bonnie Bay to be a great home for our family of 4 while visiting Scotland. Not only were the hosts fantastic and helpful, the area was very quiet and clean. The home itself was plenty large for us, and the friendly welcome and tour was much appreciated. The only challenge was the parking, which we were told about before, but once I was a little more familiar with the area we had no problem finding a spot I was comfortable leaving my vehicle in. Overall an excellent location for a launching point for this part of Scotland.
