Hidden Pubs of London

Join us for a 3hr historical stumble down the "street of shame". Starting in the shadow of the iconic St.Paul's cathedral, we explore the tiny backstreets and rambling courtyards the ancient City of London is famous for. We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs! Other note: - Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Creating Churros & Chocolate on a Boat

I will give you a brief history of the Spanish tradition of Churros con Chocolate and tell you about my favourite places to eat them in Spain. Also, because we will be having the experience in a unique London setting of my houseboat, I will be happy to share what it's like to live as part of the East London boaters community too! I will show you the ingredients we will be using and which ones work better than others. Due to my limited space, I will be showing you how to cook/ prepare the dish for most of the time, but you will have a chance to play around with the dough - the fun bit - and see how it looks sizzling in the oil. The next part is making the delicious thick drinking chocolate which we will make from scratch - nothing comes out of a packet in my little boat kitchen! The ingredients can be made vegan very easily. The perfect experience for couples or adults with kids. Please note due to my space restrictions 3 guests is a comfortable number, however I can allow 4 if requested, please ask. Finally you will be able to eat the churros con chocolate whilst they are still hot, either upstairs in the pretty wheelhouse or the covered deck, a cute little space full of charm with views of the water - you may even see a duck floating past too!

Home Cooked Indian Food Experience

Upon arrival, our guests are first treated to a glass of prosecco. You will be seated to individual portions of home made poppadums and pickles while an introduction is given about the Experience. A step-by-step live demonstration is given for 2 dishes, with tips and tricks provided, along with plenty of opportunities for any questions you want to ask. We will show you how easy cooking Indian food really is! Guests will Experience the pleasure of being served each course hot and fresh from the pan with traditionally paired accompaniments of Rice and Roti freshly cooked straight on an open flame and an Indian style side salad. Our promise to you is that the flavours will blow your taste buds away! Guests also have an opportunity to purchase our own home blended dry spices together with jars of our home made pickles. We offer a unique Experience and only do one sitting per day and will not be shared with anyone else other than your booking. Please note this Experience can also be held in Watford, North West London if it is more convenient for you. London has a fantastic craft beer scene with over 130 breweries based in the city. Our Bermondsey beer tour will take in the best breweries and tap rooms of the city's famous 'beer mile'. Groups of up to 14 will be personally be guided by me to 4 tap rooms enabling the inquisitive traveller to easily engage with my city's craft beer scene. This is a great event for private groups who qualify for discounts An accredited Beer Sommelier and Certified Cicerone® I will give you a tutored beer tasting where you will discover how sensory analysts and beer judges evaluate the qualities and styles characteristics in a glass of beer. You will also come away with knowledge of the beer styles that you are tasting, their history and evolution. This is a step up from a traditional tasting tour and elevates beer tasting experiences to another level.
