It was a wonderful stay. Bipin’s parents were so nice and helpful! They tried their best to meet all my requests and make me feel comfortable. The house is very beautiful, spacious and clean surrounded by flowers and trees. What can’t be missed is the food, all freshly made and absolutely delicious! I also got the chance to go with Bipin’s father who is vet to treat sick animals and to visit Bipin’s mother’s families. The whole experience was unique and exceptional. Highly recommended!

The home stay is a great place to experience Coorg. It's in the heart of major sight seeing places like the elephant camp and the monastery. The hosts are very homely and friendly; and tend to go out of the way to ensure all is well. On our request, they even made the local pandi curry for us to relish; along with home made wines which were an experience for us. Highly recommended, but please note that the hosts are an elderly couple and recommended for families, couples and those who can respect the place and it's surroundings.

Lovely hosts. Place was very clean and peaceful. It's also very near to the local attractions. The hosts offered me dinner and breakfast and it was the best food i had on my entire trip to this part.

Everything about this place was just perfect. It's completely surrounded by nature, tall tress and lush green beauty. Apart from this wisdom of life experiences shared by Meena aunty and Raghu uncle was very memorable. Food prepared by Meena aunty was delicious. I felt like home away from home. It was the best homestay I ever been to.

Nithin's Coorg homestay is everything Airbnb is about. It's a cosy ancesstral home where Nithin's (and his brother Karan's) mum Aunty Meena hosts travellers in a sweet Kodagu paradise. Their home is located 15 minutes from Kushalnagar town but pretty close to several tourist attractions: Dubare Elephant Camp (which was the pick of the lot), Nisargadam (skippable), a couple of dams & reservoirs. We loved Aunty Meena's place so much that on the second we decided to skip all of touristy stuff and just enjoy the home and their hospitality. We had some incredibly tasty meals, dessert and juices, most of which came directly from the estate. It's a rare experience of getting food from the farm to the table cooked with maximum amounts of love. Please note that you do have to give them a head's up so they can prepare the meals for you and it comes at an additional cost, which is so worth it. We regretted not staying longer with Aunty Meena. As did our two year old, who was in love with the pond at the back of the house, the flowing canal water, the fish, the greenery and more. We highly recommend this homestay and look forward to returning some time in the future.

The mansarovar is a homestay surrounded by lush greenery. It has a beautiful pond in the backyard where you can sit back and relax. This place is away from the city thus making you feel rejuvnated. Meena aunty and uncle are a great host and took care of us like our parents. Aunty cooks delicious food simply finger licking home grown organic food. It was a detox for us from the busy city life in Bangalore. I recommend one should definitely stay at the mansarovar.

we were looking for a getaway from the busy city life and this place did fit perfect. its located away from busy location but withing the reach, location is very calm and you can only hear the birds chirping and water flowing in the the tiny water falls they have on the property. Meena Aunty is a very good cook, she served us simple yet very satisfying and tasty meals, she took very good care of us and she was very happy to show us around the farm. over all it was weekend spent well and we will definitely come back soon.

The best thing about our stay here was Meena aunty's and Raghu uncle's great hospitality. She ensured that we were comfortable at all times and served us delicious local specialities for breakfast. Really felt like we were visiting a relative. The place is so calm and serene and exactly what we needed for a break from our hectic schedule. The constant sound of flowing water was so meditative and the pond in the backyard was definitely the cherry on the cake. We traveled with our dog who absolutely loved swimming in the pond and the surroundings. If you are looking for a weekend getaway from the city's hustle and bustle amidst nature, this is the right place for you!

I had a very short stay here. The place is amazing. There is a pond right behind the accommodation with clean, natural flowing water. You could sit there and experience a natural fish spa. Also it will be fun to feed the fish. The sound of flowing water is a music to the soul. The house retains its old and natural styling. They had placed all ingredients for basic cooking, tea n coffee. Sufficient utensils for anything. If you like some local food, message them in advance when booking, they will arrange it. I recommend a min stay of at least 3 days just to feel the nature. The shops and hotels are almost 7km from the place.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking to visit Kushalnagar. The place is situated amidst lush greenery and its super quiet and cozy at night. Aunty made sure I felt at home,right away. I had enquired if I can get cycles to rent in Kushalnagar, and Uncle actually got a cycle for my stay. They are very considerate hosts and I felt at home. It was almost as if I had gone home to my relatives for my vacations. The food was delicious and filling! Aunty is the best host I've come across!!❤️ ❤️ ❤️

It was amazing to stay there for three days, wanted to stay more. Meena aunty is great and gave such delicious foods to eat. Place is secluded and it feels like living in a safe jungle. Having a pond in the back of your stay is amazing. You can stargaze by lying beside the pond Would love to back and stay there anytime.

Simple place, but well done up. It's in a building with a medical store and a clinic. Some decent restaurants around. If you want pork, there was a local hotel that has great local pork. Otherwise, anything you need, you can just ask and they will try and provide it.

A nice desolate place tucked inside the trees, away from city madness. i was looking for that and I got exactly that. I asked the caretaker about some of the trees and then the next half an hour we spent talking trees only! There is a kitchen, you can cook the food you bring. Nearest food place was less than 1 kilometres away. I had the most peaceful sleep in 2 months.

The place is just as mentioned. It’s a home away from home. I went with my 10 month old baby, and never felt like I am staying in some ones else home. Mrs. Kanchana food is lip smacking. It’s all organic from their own estate and personally prepared by her. She is such a great lady. A must visit if one wants a homely environment with your own personal space.

We had a great stay at Taimane. Hospitality of hosts justified the name of this place. It felt like home away from home. Place accurately matches with the photos on the listing. Place was very clean and tidy. We were warmly welcomed and served food as if we were their own family members. They were always available whenever we needed and were accurate with timings. We can’t thank them enough for helping us out when our van broke down while departing. This place is so beautiful that one would not want to leave this place and go from here. I highly recommend this place for stay if you are visiting Coorg.

Taimane is a wonderful homestay, being far away from all the urban noises. The hosts were super friendly, communicative & they cooked some really delicious local cuisines. One gets a cozy, homely feeling here. They sat with us, shared their stories & easily mingled with our family. Wifi was not available due to some issue which was a kind of blessing in disguise :) Campfire was bit expensive. We bought some local coffee & pepper. All in all it was a nice experience.

The attention to our needs, constant companionship and expert level guidance was just extraordinary. Also thank you for the countless Kashaya, amazing coffee powder, homemade wine, delicious omelettes, and last but not the least - mouthwatering cake to celebrate my mother's birthday. REVIEW: Our family of four staying across 3 different cities wanted to celebrate our mom's birthday. So after some research, we zeroed in on Taimane Homestay for a family get-together, considering good reviews on Airbnb. Booked 3 nights - Nov 14-17. The road to Kudige from Bangalore is pleasurable (we took Bangalore-Nelmangala-Chanrayanpatna-Arkalgud-Kudige route). It's 4.5hrs drive to Taimane Homestay from Bangalore (Iskcon Temple). Upon reaching Kudige, Kanchana Aunty (proprietor and soul of this homestay) guided us to the homestay (nestled amidst sloping coffee plantation, coconut farm and spice plantation), personally standing on the road to welcome us warmly and settle us in quickly with piping hot filter coffee. She along with her husband (Mr. Deva and) and son Akarshan (who is out on cross country solo bike tour currently) run this beautiful homestay adjacent to their home in the 8 acre farm. The homestay has a large canal on one side and fairly large river stream on the other (visitors can swim in both, if one knows swimming). Food is made to order and Kanchana aunty can whip some of the best meals you will taste..... it is served to you by them with love and affection. Both Kanchana aunty and Mr. Devanad will serve food personally while having massively nice conversation about history of the place, region and things to do. Mr. Devanand is one of the most politest gentlemen and absolutely personifies the adage - Athithi Devo Bhava. He was outstanding in his attention to detail, our wellbeing and every request of ours was met with a warm smile and "No Problem Sir" response. The place is fantastic. Neatly kept rooms, spacious verandah, squeaky clean toilet (with glass top ceiling!!). Power was constant with Inverter backup. While the homestay is equipped with WiFi (dongle), the connection was not reliable. But again, one comes here for digital detoxification too. So it was absolutely OK for us. The mobile signal is weak around the area with only Airtel and BSNL providing any sort of reliable service (if you have a SIM from one of these service providers, you should do fine). That said, the best part of our stay was mingling with host family and feeling one with them. They treated us like family and pampered us with love and affection. Proof - bag full of fresh veggies, home made ghee and homemade coffee powder along with homemade wine!!!!!! We will come back again!!!

Taimane homestay is the best homestay in coorg. Right from the communication to send off it was all great. Akarshan replied instantly to all the queries we had. To start with it’s a great location, in the midst of coffee plantations and farms. There is a near by river if you wanna enjoy the scenery. And they do have a lot of pets which we enjoyed petting being animal lovers myself. The food was amazing! Kanchana ma’am is a great cook and they even offered to cook some last minute changes in the dishes. They are very flexible and didn’t mind all the demands by big family made. They are great host. And if you need a place with great home cooked food this is the one. Devanand Sir and Kanchana ma’am showed tremendous hospitality. We had some great conversations everyday mainly around their farm and pets :) The moment they know about the anniversary of me and husband and also one more cousin they went great heights in arranging surprise cake cutting with homemade wine. They will take care of yourself and I’ll keep visiting them whenever I go to coorg. We visited as a family of 11 members and all the family members enjoyed the stay where we had age group from 10-60 and they made sure all our needs are met. One of the best stays I’ve ever had!

Would rate this experience 5 stars on all parameters. Given the intermittent rains, I was in touch with Akarshan. Not only did he provide honest update of situation, he went beyond and reassured us of all assistance and memorable experience. The place is very scenic with river flowing nearby, farm has many pets, it is maintained very well in environment friendly way. we were a family of 6 with a 1 year old kid. Hospitality extended by Akarshan's parents was outstanding. Food was very very tasty and local, a 6 out of 5 stars experience. Uncle and Aunty shared anecdotes from their life which provided a very homely experience. Tips provided regarding places to visit locally worked out great for us. If you need great memories of Kushal nagar and around, this is the place to stay and experience!

Anirvaa Cottage is an ideal getaway for those who wish for a quiet peaceful holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Please contact the host for more offbeat travel suggestions in and around Coorg.

The place is in the middle of a nice farm, which has a lot of fruiting trees. The place, itself, is very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. When we reached there, the caretaker, Raju, was there to guide and help us. He was always reachable and very helpful. He also guided us letting us know of the nearby places to visit. Overall, we had a very good time.

Wonderful stay at farmhouse. Power backup is provided, a fully functional kitchen with refrigerator. During our stay, the caretaker was also available in case we didn't want to cook. Place was clean, towels were provided, there were no insects or mosquitoes inside the room. Plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute drive. The host also provided helpful tips for places to eat. Even though the road to the farm isn't tarred, it's very much accessible for any kind of card.

Anirvaa Cottage is a wonderful place to relax amidst nature. It's slightly tucked away from the main road, so there is total serenity and privacy. Our family stayed in the main cottage, and it was delightful. Our German Shepherd boy thoroughly enjoyed the greenery and the space to run around without any fear of traffic or strangers. We were also fortunate that a cook was around during our stay helping us with home food! Highly recommend for those who want to have a no-frills holiday amidst Mother Nature. Thanks Prem & his staff for hosting us.

Had a great stay with my family, recommend this place to people looking for a silent retreat. The place is silent surrounded by coffee and pepper plantations. There are two buildings within the property (3 acres i guess) both of which are listed here and are quite far apart. The care taker Raju is very helpful. Had all utensils, plates plus cooker and a mixie to do our own cooking. If you plan on cooking buy stuff from Kushalnagar or there are some shops in the circle where you take left towards Dubare from KushalNagar.

We had a great stay at Mr.Prem's place! It's tucked away from the main city and located in a tiny village called Rasulpura, so the place is serene and calm. We had taken our 2 dogs along and they loved it there with all the open space and greenery. The Ganga river flows very close by at about 10 mins walk from the farm and it's so refreshing to go explore there.There is a kitchen with all the basic amenities that we require to prepare a meal like utensils,gas stove etc. and also a refrigerator to store.Special mention about the caretaker Raju who took really good care of us and was always ready to help out when we needed him. We loved the place so much that we extended the stay for an extra day!Overall I would highly recommend this place for people who just want to be in the lap of nature with no disturbance whatsoever.

It's a beautiful and secluded place. Perfect for people who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's very well furnished. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

An awesome location with very good amenities. The house is a little off the main road which gives it a certain rustic look and provides amazing serenity. Mr. Raju who is the caretaker is an amazing person whose local knowledge is of immense value. An ever-smiling soft spoken gentleman, he is always there whenever you require any help. Note: We went prepared with food to cook. The kitchen is completely equipped and mineral water is provided by the host. It is suggested to carry food materials to cook as good Veg restaurants are easily 5-7 kms away.

It's an amazing homesy away from the city life. We would definitely plan another vacation here. We were lucky to have a family to cook yummy food for us during our stay.

Our stay at Anirvaa was nothing less than a dream. We were seeking a quiet getaway and still be able to visit nearby places and thus place was just perfect for that. We as a family really thank Prem for this beautiful property he lends out. For those who want to spend quality family time in a beautiful Coorg farm house, cooking together, sipping hot coffees in open verandahs, plan quick visit to the Tibetan monasteries or dubare elephant camp, you can absolutely opt to stay here. The best part is all tourist attractions are lay between 5-15 KMs stretch, yet once you are in the property, you get absolute privacy from the hustle bustle.

Place is away from the main hustle and bustle, once you are in there is no noise from outside world, all you can hear is the natural sounds of tress, crickets noise in the evening, fading into night. Very nice and calm place, wonderful in fact if you are nature lover. One or two things to worry about are, bathrooms have open windows, so women and children in particular find it difficult due to lack of privacy. Bedrooms have basic furniture nothing extra ordinary, basic beds and linen is also very basic, so carry your own, if you can which we did. Kitchen is very simple and functional, you can just survive to make a morning cuppa or a simple breakfast like upma. You need to carry every single item as the kitchen has nothing, no supplies at all. It has a decent but unclean fridge, gas stove is in real poor condition, no windows as such getting the stove to life is a big challenge. Cutlery is very basic. But for these minor irritants, the place is outstanding. Definite try.

We ourselves cannot find any reason to rate this place anything less than complete 5. A relaxed place with awesome people to help around. Gowrish, Ashish and Soma are understanding to your needs and very helpful. Fortunately, we had a pool villa to ourselves and could also chill in the common pool. Nothing could be better than the farm stay at Eco Habitat. Everything at it’s best. :)
