  • Great location in Haworth town centre, very stylish little cottage I would definitely recommend to anybody staying in the area.

  • A lovely cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. We found comfy beds, an inviting living room with lots of things to occupy with, well equipped kitchen, and lots of information about the area. Parking on the bigger road nearby was no problem (even with a bigger car). High street, Bronte Personage museum and pubs close by. Just take into account a very steep/small staircase if you're less mobile.

  • A lovely place to stay. Very central and easy to access.

  • What a perfect little cottage in a great location to see all Haworth has to offer and Lina gave us some great recommendations, our favourite being The Hawthorn, which Lina had said was hers too. So many nice cafes and pubs to check out and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Cobbles and Clay Deli. The Haworth Old Hall had a pop up gin bar in a marquee which was great. The Bronte Personage Museum was so interesting and well worth a visit and we took a the steam train through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The Cottage was clean, bright and had a fab shower and really efficient heating. Lina had left tea coffee and milk which was thoughtful. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and oh so quiet and peaceful. The communication was brilliant and I think the key safe is a great idea, first time I had used this with airbnb but what a brilliant idea. We would definitely return.

  • This is a really lovely cottage, within minutes of the Bronte Parsonage and the Main Street. The place is sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and ideal for an escape. Stephen and Emily are excellent hosts: quick to reply to messages and they’ve made sure that there’s everything their guests will need in the property. I can highly recommend!

  • We stayed at this cottage during storm Dennis, there was still plenty to do and the cottage was cosy and warm. Great weekend stay!!

  • This is a wonderful place to stay - warm, cosy, comfortable and within 5-10 mins walking of everything in Haworth. Tastefully furnished, beautiful feel to the cottage, with everything you need. Quiet, peaceful, clear skies at night. Fantastic.

  • Just returned from an amazing stay at the cottage. The location is outstanding only 3 mins walk to the bottom of the main cobble street. The cottage inside is lovely, very welcoming and cosy. Everything you need is provided and everywhere very clean. The wood burner is fab for cold winter nights and there is a smart tv which was a bonus with lots of DVD’s if fancy a night in. The fish shop 2 doors down from the cottage I would definitely recommend also lots of local takeaways too the enjoy. I would also recommend the local butchers 2 mins walk away. They do lovely hot sandwiches which we had for breakfast and cold sandwiches if planning some lovely walks. There is lots of local walks to enjoy and some lovely pubs within mins walk away to enjoy. The commutations with the hosts were always quick and very informative. I would definitely be recommending the cottage to family and friends. Thanks to Stephen and Emily and can’t wait to return.

  • My partner and I loved this place! 😊 As soon as we walked in - the place was toasty warm, cosy and snug. We loved that the place had heaps of character with lovely wooden beams, loved the stylish touches that the host had placed in the decor of this bijou. This place was the perfect retreat to escape and we loved that the bed was super comfy too. Overall, we had a beautiful stay here and thank James for letting us stay at his apartment (and even a late check out as well). Would definitely love to come back to this place again 💜

  • Fantastic location, just enough out the way of the bustle yet easily accessible. Cosy and warm. Very homely. Perfect getaway! Loved it!

    Matt2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and cosy little flat, perfect for a countryside getaway. The heating was great, keeping the space warm even in winter! A great place to stay whether you want to go hiking in the moors or have the convenience of a little countryside village.

    Elspeth2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is really nice, warm and welcoming. Tv with netflix, all the comforts for the kitchen. The only flaw is the cleaning of some dishes and the sink in the bathroom which did not have hot water (the shower instead yes). The apartment is a short walk from the center of Haworth, perfect for visiting the city, there are also many shops and restaurants nearby. Even if the street the house overlooks is totally dark. Overall, however, we are very satisfied!

    Francesca2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay. It's a very comfy place with everything we needed. A short walk into the town and lots to do nearby.

  • The BEST airbnb! Located on a quiet peaceful street, 1 minutes walk from the main high street which is picture post card idyllic. The house was beautiful, sparkling clean and I couldn't think of a single amenity that wasn't provided. Also the beds are sooo comfy. We did the 7 mile Bronte Falls walk which I would highly recommend, or the 44 mile Bronte Way walk would be great if you had from dawn till dusk to walk! Ahh goodness, I could go on and on. We'll definitely be back!

  • Blackberry Cottage was a delightful surprise for us on a miserable February afternoon - a cosy, comfortable retreat from the weather with stylish interiors, comfortable beds and a super shower. We loved all the special touches - beautiful lighting, the cheerful stove and well thought out interior. Thanks again!

    Emily2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gorgeous cabin and area!! We highly recommend - had a wonderful time and will definitely be booking this place again!

    Laura2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • A well set up , beautiful place to stay . Everything was tasteful and beds were comfortable! Close to a few pubs and coffee shops.

    Carolyn2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our family stayed in the cottage for two nights over the New Year period, and we all had a fabulous time. When we arrived we luckily managed to get a parking space right outside the front door of the cottage. The cottage was immediately warm and welcoming with the Christmas tree and decorations a delightful addition thank you. The cottage itself is decorated to a high standard, with both modern and traditional touches. The downstairs had plenty of room for us all to comfortably spread out in the warm glow of the log fire. The kitchen is very well equipped and met our needs quite easily. The bedrooms are modern and spacious with large comfortable beds. We all slept soundly. There are plenty of cafes, shops, and pubs nearby but as you are at the top of the Main Street you are not disturbed by any noise. We want to say a big thank you for making our New Year celebrations so special and know we will return again.

  • My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September. The weather could not have been any worse but our hosts could not have been any better. Despite the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Shepherd’s hut. The accommodation is spacious and clean and quaint. The nearby toilet and bathroom is modern and clean. A Well-stocked breakfast basket is provided and the wood-burner was cosy and comforting. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Haworth itself is absolutely gorgeous and quaint. The Brontë museum is engaging and interesting and the village shops and cafes are unique and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here.

  • Wonderful cottage with outstanding amenities. Very very clean and well maintained. Fabulous position for walking into Haworth, Bronte Parsonage. We had awful weather but we cosied up with fire on and enjoyed some Netflix and books. Managed a windy walk to Bronte Waterfall which was well worth it. Communication from Colin was excellent. Shame Shibden Hall not open until March but maybe next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The location is perfect, being within a short walk of pubs, coffee shops tourist attractions and beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Communication, both from the hosts and from Sandra, the local lady responsible for looking after the property, was prompt and really helpful. All in all, a beautiful, clean and stylish place that was excellent value.

  • A great space, perfectly located; beautifully presented and sparklingly clean. The only slight downside was the parking. The most convenient parking, at the medical centre, is only available between Saturday lunchtime and Monday morning (and maybe weekday evenings). We ended up using street parking five minutes walk away. This would not stop us returning however and we had a lovely stay.

Next to the station is our favourite local spot, Haworth's very own Central Park which is home to the Steam Punk weekend, 1940s Vintage & 1960s weekends, craft & Christmas fairs, music events and good old peace & tranquility, just sit back with an ice cream & enjoy the views over the Worth Valley. On the other side of the park, you will find Haworth’s famous cobbled Main Street and you can also delve into the fascinating lives of the Brontë family with a visit to the Bronte Parsonage Museum. Come Home Cottage is ideal for couples and is situated in a great central location, just two minutes away from Haworth’s historic Main Street. The cottage is in Haworth conservation area in a historic street of traditional weaver’s cottages with exposed beams and a flagstone floor in the living room. The house is a stone’s throw from the Bronte Parsonage where Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights were written, and the moor beyond offers lovely walks with breath-taking countryside views.
The first-floor living room has a large fireplace with a wood burner, original stone-flagged floors and beamed ceilings. There are two very comfortable sofas for complete rest and relaxation, with a TV, DVD player, Ipod dock and radio. The property has BT broadband. The modern basement kitchen is newly-fitted and fully-equipped and has a comfortable seating area with wall-mounted TV and retains its original cooking range installed in 1864 as a feature. There is a small utility room off the kitchen with washing machine and clothes drier - this room was a pantry with a large stone shelf for a fridge for the nineteenth-century inhabitants of the house. There is one double bedroom with double bed and a spacious bathroom on the second floor. The light and airy bathroom is newly-fitted with a large bath and a modern monsoon-style shower. Parking is on the street directly in front of the house and a permit will be supplied for display. We are happy to provide a starter pack of logs for you upon arrival.
  • This is a beautifully styled cottage right on the main High Street of Haworth. Very comfortable and cosy. Perfect!

  • Come Home Cottage is both cosy and charming. It is well-equipped and so convenient for Haworth and the local attractions. Catherine is a superb hostess and made us feel most welcome - we appreciated her thoughtfulness in providing a Christmas tree and little gifts for us to eat and drink. The Cottage has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard, and was spotlessly clean. We can recommend staying here without any hesitation.

    Timothy2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time that my Husband and I have stayed in Catherine's beautiful home, and it won't be the last. The cottage is in the perfect location so close to the Bronte parsonage and the Main Street on your doorstep. We stayed over Halloween, and the village really outdid itself with the decorations and the parade up the Highstreet. The cottage itself is immaculate and there are so many lovely little touches from Catherine on arrival. It's the perfect base to unwind and enjoy the area, I can't fault it 10/10.

    Svea2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Always excellent , spotlessly clean. Catherine is always at the end of a phone if by any chance you need assistance, and is extremely helpful. Lovely generous space in every area. Bathroom shower amazing. Warm and cosy.

  • Lovely cottage

    Amy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed a lovely get away here. Communication and booking was so quick and easy, and the self check-in makes time pressures non existent. The cottage is lovely, very well presented, and has the added treats of flowers, breakfast cereals and a couple of welcome offerings in the fridge. I was travelling with my dog and although there is no garden there's a public footpath opposite (at the road junction) leading to a grassy area and beyond. An easy 5 minute drive to Haworth (lots of dog friendly places) and a couple of minutes walk to local shops.

  • This is the cosiest, cleanest, most well equipped hideaway ever! Perfectly positioned to explore Haworth and the local area and when the weather changes dramatically ( Storm Ciara hit whilst we were there) you can just snuggle up in the warmth, watch a movie and listen to the weather outside. Communication was fabulous as was the thoughtful attention to detail such as providing gluten free bread etc. Wholeheartedly recommended!

    Joanna2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Farfield Den for two nights while my wife attended a course in Keighley. The flat is spotless, lovely and warm and had everything we needed. There were nice little touches, like a bottle of wine and bread, croissants, and milk in the fridge. Rebecca responded to messages promptly and provided useful tips for things to do. It was quite rainy one morning and I happily spent the morning playing board games and watching Netflix with my 4 year old boy. All in all a perfect Airbnb experience!

  • Great accommodation with a welcoming host. The place was spotless and a very nice welcome basket was left for us.

  • Wonderful, cosy barn in the Yorkshire Dales. Spotlessly clean and everything you need. Karen is lovely and very easy to get hold of and her father Joe have us lots of recommendations.

    Chloe2019-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very well appointed barn conversion with kitchen, lounge area and big bed upstairs. Basic provision box was a nice touch and logs were provided for the burner. The property is just a 5-10 minute drive from Haworth, and we spent nearly a full day here taking in the sights. Well worth a visit.

Caroline and her Mum were so welcoming and all the extra touches made it a real home from home. Will definitely book again when next in area.

  • 10/10 .... this place was amazing. All the little touches made it perfect and the attention to detail was great. Both caroline and her mom were great hosts. Highly recommend staying. Plenty to do and see. Nice 30min walk to haworth town. And the golden fleece 10mins up the road for a Saxon pie. Perfect. Will stay again.

  • Caroline was a fantastic host. She made us feel so welcome, comfortable and at home. There was never any question or query that we felt was too silly or small, and the fact she always made herself available for any questions was very much appreciated. We found the house spotless, extremely tastefully, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We are so delighted to have visited. Even the smallest details were well thought through for the comfort and enjoyment of the holiday maker. We hope to be back again very soon.

  • We had a wonderful stay with our dog- the photos don’t do the cottage justice. Haworth is a lovely little village with plenty of dog friendly pubs and restaurants. The cottage was a great place for exploring the surrounding area too; we particularly enjoyed our visit to Bolton Abbey. A beautiful, cosy stay that we would highly recommend.

  • I had an amazing time at September Cottage. It far exceeded my expectations in terms of the facilities, the location and the amazing hosting. Robin and Joy have thought of everything and the cottage is very well equipped with lovely personal touches. Robin gave me a very thorough guided tour and was fantastic at communicating with me before my arrival. The cottage is very centrally located and is truly a home from home. Excellent value for money and clearly a popular choice. I hope to return again next year and would not hesitate to recommend September Cottage to anyone considering a stay in Haworth. The only problem was that it just wasn't long enough so next time I would like to stay for the whole week. Thanks so much Robin and Joy. September Cottage is a credit to you.

  • We had a really nice few days here, we had everything we needed. And the cottage was well looked after.

  • Had the pleasure of staying at Robin’s lovely cottage for a relaxing long weekend in Haworth. It is a beautiful cottage close to Haworth’s historic Main Street. The cottage is a home from home with loads of wonderful little touches to make it homely. Extremely comfortable bed and lovely and cosy. Can’t wait to come back.

    Kevin2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy cottage in excellent location. Great for exploring the moors, the Bronte museum, the steam railway and Haworth is also very pretty with lots of pubs within walking distance. Excellent communication from Robin throughout. Good central heating was appreciated as the weather had just turned very cold. The rooms are larger than they look in the pictures, especially the main bedroom, plenty of space for our travelcot.

This house had Haworth and Bronte Country on its doorstep but has none of its parking issues. You can walk to Haworth in 20 minutes or take the bus in 5. You are also within close range of other exciting and stunning tourist attractions such as Cliffe Castle, Bolton Abbey, The Dales, and the local heritage of Bradford and Keighley. There are lots of activities locally such as trail/fell running, MTB-ing and cycle sportives. I'm a land artist and each bedroom features a different installation.
No. 2 Heritage Way is a large house with lots of space both inside and out. One unique thing about it is that it has 3 real hens and 3 giant ornamental sheep in the garden. But there is still space for an outdoor eating area, a hot tub, a swingball game and plenty of lawn space for other games and sheltered sunbathing in summer. It might sound weird to have twin orthopeadic beds but older people love them for their comfort and kids love the novelty of using the remote controls to go up and down and lift their legs and head. I am an occasional land artist and each of the bedrooms is named after one of my favourite instalations. the double bedroom is the Broad-Ford suite, the single room is the Branwell and the bicycle suite and the twin room is the Winking Goose Winking Turkey suite. In my job for the local Sue Ryder hospice I am involved with the organisation of a high proportion of the local events that are going on on our doorstep and I can make sure I will notify you in advance of any that are happening during your stay. These include sportives, mountain bike challenges and trail runs in the fantastic local landscape.
Oakworth is a large south facing village with 2 village stores and 2 pubs both within 5 minutes walk of No. 2 Heritage Way. There is also a ladies hairdressers, 2 barbers shops, a sewing cafe, a fish and chip shop, a Chinese takaway and a Indian takaway. For more choice of takaways you are only 5 minutes drive from the town of Keighley and so all the restaurants there will deliver to Oakworth. And if you fancy some good home made food, the Golden Fleece Inn does great food including their award winning Saxon pies. There are another dozen good eating places within ten minutes drive including restaurants on Haworth Main Street and the Wuthering Heights Inn in the village of Stanbury. Oakworth's biggest claim to fame is that it features heavily in the classic film 'The Railway Children'. Oakworth station on the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway remains just as it was on the film and is a great place to climb aboard the train which has stops at Keighley, Ingrow, Haworth and Oxenhope. Within the village is the grounds of what was Holden Hall, a stately home built by mill owner Sir Isaac Holden that burned to the ground in the 19th Centuary. Oakworth is the home of proffessional cyclist Tom Moses who rides through the village each year when the Tour de Yorkshire comes through in early May.

  • Gorgeous property, plenty of space and great amenities including a spacious kitchen, dining area/lounge, large bath and cosy bedrooms. The hot tub was a great addition to our stay and the garden is very well kept. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the decor was thoughtful and quirky and felt very homely. The property has table tennis and board games, as well as TVs with fire sticks for endless entertainment value. Easy to access property, and Andrew is an amazing host, made us feel comfortable right away, gave us directions to points of interests, tips about the local area, and help with the hot tub. Also gave us eggs from his hens and made sure we were stocked with groceries. The property is in a great location for heading into the south of the dales, we took a ride out to Malham Cove which was only about 40 minutes drive and it was spectacular, many other great places nearby to see too as well as nice local pubs within walking distance. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommended.

  • Good sized living space, the house has a really nice feel to it . There was plenty of room for a family of 5. The downstairs bathroom is a touch of luxury, and my girls 3 and 5 enjoyed getting eggs from the garden. Andrew was very welcoming and friendly however also gave us our privacy.

  • We had a great two day stay at the apartment. Its well laid out and stylish. Great value for money. Unfortunately the pub downstairs was shut due to coronavirus. We would have loved to give it a try. Next time maybe. Loads of info in the apartment about the local area etc which was great.Bus stop across the road but didn't use them. It was only £5 for a taxi into Haworth for food/drink. As stated there is no wifi but I used my fire stick from my phone hotspot so mobile signal is good. Claire was great and really helpful. In all a brilliant few days away.

Peaceful, neutrally decorated home on the edge of the Yorkshire moors, just a 10 min walk to the Bronte parsonage in the village of Haworth. If steam is your thing visit the heritage railway and take a trip on the tracks made famous by the railway children. Enjoy limitless tea and coffee in front of the fire, soak in the bath after a long day of sightseeing and have a good rest in a bedroom with a fine view of the countryside to recharge for whatever the next day brings.
    A cat lives here.
  • Fiona is a fantastic host, she is happy to leave you to your own devices but also fantastic for a chat and someone to get to know! The house is beautiful and she provides tea, coffee, milk and bread etc. The wood burner warms the whole house through and makes the house super cosy. I would definitely recommend and plan on staying again!

    Jacob2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona's place is in a perfect location only a few minutes walk from town centre and busses to other towns just at the bottom of her street. Fiona is friendly, easy-going and down to earth and I enjoyed our chats while watching telly together. Very comfy bed and great views. Would highly recommend

    Janine2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • The best airbnb experience I've had! Fiona is an amazing host and was exceptionally easy to get along with, and willing to help out for the two weeks that I stayed with her. The house is in a fantastic location really close to the main street, as well as a great fish and chip shop! I enjoyed the company of Lottie the cat, and the fire each evening!

    Janice2019-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona’s house is perfectly located being only a 5-10minute walk to the centre of Haworth and has beautiful views from the bedroom and breakfast table. It was perfect for our Brontë themed weekend and backs right onto the Brontë trail (a walk I would highly recommend!) Fiona was a great host, quick to respond, flexible and accommodating and even let us borrow her coffee flasks for our walk. What truly makes Fiona’s place though is her adorable and very cuddly cat, Lottie.

  • This is a lovely home to stay in. Not great if you’re not good with steps but Haworth is not a place to be visiting unless you are fit and mobile. It’s in Yorkshire after all and the terrain is steep! Karen communicated perfectly and the property is lovely and homely. All the the things you need are there and we found it a perfect base for our three night stay. Clean and functional with a nice feel to it with easy parking. It’s good value and offers plenty of space for a family.

Karen was extremely helpful and was there when we arrived to welcome us into her home, we had lots of luggage and Karen kindly helped us up the stairs with it. There was a nice welcome basket for my family to enjoy and the house was well decorated for Christmas. We would happily stay there again, thanks Karen!

  • We had a lovely time at the Cottage! The place was beautifully decorated and we loved the welcome basket. The location of the cottage was perfect for our needs and Joanne and her team were always on hand to deal with queries. Many thanks :)

  • Great location, lots of dog friendly pups. The cottage is a good size, tastefully decorated, well equipped and clean. Joanne was great to communicate with. We would happily stay again.

  • Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Clean and tidy, with a lovely basket of goodies waiting for us on arrival. We loved being so near the parsonage and the moors. Would recommend for a peaceful stay in Haworth.

  • Joanne's place has a great location just a few blocks from Main Street in Haworth. It has everything you could need for your stay. Be aware that it is on 3 levels and the third level is up a very steep and narrow stairway. This was for the third bedroom, which was no problem for us, but for someone with mobility issues it would be.

    David2019-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • We have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Haworth and this cottage was in an excellent location. The cottage was really cosy, beds where very comfortable, power shower was great and the gift basket was a lovely touch. Would definatley recommend a stay here and would love to return again.

  • Great place to stay in Haworth, has everything you could want to have a stress free comfortable stay. The bathroom is lovely and I could have stayed in the shower all day, for those of you who have low pressure you will know what I mean! The kitchen is very well designed, has everything you need including a dishwasher. The beds are comfortable with more pillows than a hotel! No hills to conquer should you want to go to the nearest pub for a drink or a meal and easy access to the park. Everyone is super friendly and everywhere is dog friendly too. Lovely picturesque views from everywhere in the town and years of history on every corner. Haworth has managed to hold onto the Yorkshire of old and that is a very good thing indeed.

This traditional old Yorkshire stone house is just a few minutes walk from Haworth Main Street yet it is set overlooking countryside and the beautiful Worth Valley. Haworth has a lovely old cobbled Main Street with lots of quirky shops, tea rooms and traditional pubs. The moor is within walking distance and offers some of the most spectacular walks in the UK.
This charmingly-located cottage was newly refurbished in 2017 and our guests tell us they love it for the beautiful view from the conservatory at the back of the house. The one-bedroom house is ideal for couples looking for a short, relaxing break. Parking is at the front door on a very quiet rural road. Fall in Green is located just a few minutes’ walk from Haworth’s historic Main Street yet overlooks the beautiful Worth Valley, with lots of visiting wildlife, and at certain times of year, a view of the steam trains on the Worth Valley railway. The house has been lovingly restored and the living room has two stylish John Lewis sofas and a wood-burning stove for evenings by the fire. We are happy to provide a starter pack of logs for you upon arrival. The kitchen is new and well equipped, and the bathroom has both a bath and separate shower. The house is in a row of 8 cottages, with sheep and occasionally highland cattle as the neighbours just over the road. There is garden furniture during the warmer months. Haworth is a charming village with traditional pubs, tea rooms and restaurants within walking distance. The village is a great base for walking, or visits to nearby Hebden Bridge and Skipton.
  • A lovely cosy place with everything you need for a get away. We spent 4 nights, cooked in the house every night, the kitchen had everything you might need. Spacious comfy bedroom, big clean bathroom and lovely views from all windows. Easy access to Haworth with main street a few minutes walk away. We loved it, can't wait to find an excuse to come back.

  • Lovely cottage in a great location. Spectacular views and homely touches. Perfect for a relaxing break.

    Kerry2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home and perfect location for a visit to Haworth and Bronte country. Lovely finishing touches and within a couple of minutes walk of Haworth. Would definitely recommend.

    Lorna2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely perfect location. We looked out to fields in every direction and yet we were in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go to. We could walk to the Bronte Parsonage, the railway station for the stream train, Bronte falls and Top Withins (slightly longer track for that!!) . The Main Street is also within walking distance and there are a couple of great places to eat and drink. The Hayworth Steam Brewing Co. makes it own ales and gins and lovely food too. Hawthorns was also a lovely place for some dinner. If you fancy staying in at Catherine’s then you can enjoy cuddling up before the log burner on a cold evening or enjoy the scenery and wildlife on a sunny afternoon in the conservatory. Thoroughly recommend a stay at Catherine’s.

    Kara2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Really beautiful cottage, absolutely stunning views from the back garden. An all round lovely stay, would definitely come back!

    Michal2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely little cottage, well equipped with beautiful views. It’s a peaceful spot but you are just a five minute walk from Haworth which is a great little twin with lots of good pubs.

    Lindsey2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Had a really wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The view from the conservatory was fabulous, and it was very thoughtful that there's a powerful pair of binoculars to enjoy the view even more. It was fab that the smart TV enabled us to choose movies to enjoy at our leisure in the evenings. Finally, it's just a short walk up a hill to the town centre for food and fun.

    Chris2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • You can't beat this place! The hosts make you feel like they truly enjoy hosting. We had lovely snacks and wine awaiting us. Extra touches like candles, firewood and starters for the fire, coffee, tea, and tourism information really made us feel welcome. The patio with a wonderful view of the valley is amazing and you can enjoy the outdoors rain or shine as you watch the sky or the horses and sheep below. Staying a short walk (not even 5 minutes) from the town of Haworth is ideal for seeing Bronte country. You can walk to the Bronte museum, shops, pubs. Past the Bronte museum are the paths to the moors, Bronte falls and Top Withins. It is beautifully and recently redecorated and the bed is comfortable. Don't miss this spot.

  • Fantastic apartment. Great location with wonderful hosts.

    Pamela2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Although short, we had a superb stay. Everything is so close, the church alongside, the Bronte museum behind, and a variety of pubs a few feet away. Short drive (or you could easily walk) to the parking lot, where you can walk to the Bronte Waterfall or hike further up to Top Withens - which has spectacular views across the moors. All in all, a fabulous stay in a beautiful home.

    Tammy2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, however it is located next to a public house. We didn’t find this a problem but I expect in the middle of the summer some may find it an issue. Lovely space, comfy bed. Would definitely recommend and we will be going again

    Carole2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely stylish at a great location! Only 1 minute away from the church and Brontë Museum! My host Sonya is very nice and friendly and she always replies back any of my queries within a second! I love this characteristic building and rooms. You have anything you need during your stay and Sonya even extends my check out time. I’m a freelance myself and I’ve been extremely productive during my stay here. Will definitely go back next time! Highly recommend :)

  • Great place to stay. Very central to Haworth. Lovely little touches such as milk, wine, butter, jam etc. Quirky and as close to Bronte parsonage as you can get.

    Linda2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • We rented both properties and as such felt like we had the whole top floor as a private flat. The kitchen facilities and independent ensuite full bathrooms perfect. Sonya was very kind leaving a complementary bootle of wine in both rooms to celebrate our birthday stay. Haworth is a really beautiful place and you are a minute from the main street, we had the perfect stay in a perfect home.

Heron Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage, just a short walk from the famous cobbled street of Haworth and overlooking the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Enjoy a family holiday; cosy weekend escape or a friends’ get together. The cottage is next to our own family home where we live with our horses, chickens, geese, sheep plus the cats and dog! Sorry - no pets as we have free range chickens.
The river Worth joins Bridgehouse Beck at the end of the garden and, if the horses aren’t out there, we can take you across the stepping stones to see where the Railway Children was filmed.
The cottage is just outside Haworth, in beautiful Brontë country. Haworth itself was the home of the Brontë sisters and the Brontë Parsonage Museum can noW be visited there. The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a 5 mile long heritage steam railway which runs from Keighley to Oxenhope. Oakworth Station, just around the corner from Heron Cottage, is famous as the location for the filming of the film The Railway Children. The landslide sequence of the film was in a cutting accessed from just behind Heron Cottage across our land. Other local attractions include the World Heritage Site of Saltaire and Salts Mill, the newly restored Piece Hall at Halifax and the market towns of Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.
  • We thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage. Great hosts and lovely lcoation ca

    Alexandria2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • A cosy cottage in a truly wonderful location. Haworth is only a 10 minute walk away and from there you are only minutes away from bracing walks on the moors. And coming home to the Hens, Geese and Sheep was always a treat. As was the steam train which tootles past the bottom of the garden every hour or so

    John2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely cottage ideally positioned for exploring Haworth by foot and the Keighley and Worth Valley railway. Places like Settle and Bolton Abbey are not too far either. The cottage itself is cosy and has plenty of room. Having a stream at the bottom on the garden and chickens running around made it a lovely location for all family members.

Located in Haworth, this well-presented, self-contained two bedroomed Victorian terrace has a quaint, charmingly modernised kitchen, extensive top floor bathroom and main bedroom with ensuite facilities. It gives an independent, quality base for your holiday in this historic area. From the front of the property you can view Haworth's Central Park and Main Street. These are approximately 10 minutes walk away, whilst the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway can be reached in 5.
Living accommodation is over three floors and there is additional storage space available in the cellar (e.g. bikes). The ground floor consists of the living room and kitchen. On the first floor is the main bedroom with extensive built-in wardrobes, lots of cupboards and a nicely arranged en-suite. The main bathroom (beautifully tiled with bath/WC/extra large walk-in /seated shower) is on the second floor as is the second bedroom (two single beds with wardrobe/drawers/cupboard). This house needs to be seen to be fully appreciated- it is difficult to photograph it in a way which does it justice- but once visited we are confident that you will book again. The low price currently charged does not reflect the quality of this property and people booking now are seriously getting a bargain. The house contains a TV/DVD player in the living room and a TV in each bedroom. The price includes a 'Welcome Pack' to start your stay. This will contain bread, milk and a homemade preserve. Tea, coffee, sugar and condiments as well as bed linen and towels are provided for each booking. Soaps and shampoo are also available. Unless you specify otherwise, your 'Welcome Pack' will also include a bottle of wine. Free parking is normally available within 5 metres of the property. A well-decorated, warm and inviting space which will give a great base to your Haworth break.
As well as Haworth's Main Street, Central Park and the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, there is also the Bronte Parsonage Museum. A wide variety of close-by shops, pubs and cafes are available.

  • Great property situated close to the Pennine Way with great bus routes to get you to Hebden Bridge and Cowling with an option to split the route at Stanbury if you want to. Other great local attractions are the Bronte Waterfalls and Top Withins both within easy walk of the house. Sharon is a great host, welcome pack is truly amazing. The property and Howarth itself were perfect for a long weekend of walking. A great base to come back to after 50 mph winds, rain, sleet, snow and shin deep water. You got to love the Pennine Way in winter!

    David2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon's (Mandy) place was fabulous! We got a very warm welcoming with some unexpected treats (home-made Lemon Curd and Plum Jam) and some essentials in the fridge and cupboards (milk, bread, tea/coffee, wine...). Overall it was very comfy, cosy and clean (an excellent hideaway from the stormy weather). The bed was particularly comfy and extra bedding was available which is great for those who are always cold like myself! The bathroom facilities were fantastic and so clean! The same can be said for the kitchen! The house is very near to the main street (we'd highly recommend The Fleece Inn - great food and ales) and a short drive to the main walks (we chose to go up to the Top Withens). Communication with Mandy was very quick and easy. We will be visiting Haworth again in the future and will be sure to book with Mandy again! Thank you!!

There's lots of parking nearby and it's only a few minutes walk from the house to the main street in Haworth. We enjoyed a walk to the Bronte Waterfalls during our stay and came back via Stanbury village. The Wuthering Heights pub there does a lovely lunch :) I would stay here again and would definitely recommend to others!

  • I almost hesitate to share what a simply lovely little gem this place is, and what kind-hearted hosts Tracy and Michael are, for selfish reasons. The cottage feels like home for the weary traveler. Tracy and Michael treated me with a hospitality one can only liken to family. They waited up for me (late) to check-in after a long journey troubled by recent flooding. Greeted me with a “cuppa” and helped me brainstorm my short stay in the magic that is Haworth. Come morning, after waking to the most spectacular view of the dales from my bedroom window, it was a short walk to the town where I partook in the lovely trails of the Brontë Parsonage and finished with Christmas shopping on Main Street. After warming/freshening up in the sparkling clean, quaint, and charming abode, my hosts were kind enough to give me a lift into town (as it was evening) and drop me off at the pub where I was dining! I made some new friends as I believe there are no folk kinder than that of the shire. Add all of that to the easy and prompt communication, the poetry of the history of the town of Oxenhope, and the view of the sheep farm steps from the door - my stay was nothing short of a fairytale for this English literature teacher! I can’t wait to return and was a tad misty- eyed to leave.
