  • We needed a place to stay for the night before doing the Cabot Trail in the morning. We arrived very late and Tina was still up responding to messages. The entire check-in was in incredibly simple. In the morning she prepared coffee and breakfast for us before we headed out. She is so hospitable and easy to talk to. We had some great conversations!

  • WOW! I mean.....I only stayed one night but it already felt like a second home. The best part of Tina's place truly is the hospitality. She greeted me later than I expected due to car issues (I was on a looooooooong road trip) and stayed up to make me tea and chat and make me feel very at home. I also had a lovely huge breakfast with her before I headed out; these kind of listings are why airbnb should exist, period. Thank you so much Tina for making me feel adopted for the time I was there :-)

  • Tina has raised the bar! We gave her almost no notice. She had treats for us on arrival, offered us her kitchen, poured each a glass of wine while we ate our evening snack. She is very generous with her time and space. A lovely lady and if you able too stay here if you’re going to be in this area.

  • Shelley is an exceptional host whose home is as cozy and inviting as it is comfortable. I had a spotless room, a well appointed bathroom, an exceptionally comfortable bed, and a delightful breakfast overlooking the water. Every detail is carefully looked after, and Shelley has everything prepared beautifully. From warm tea and cookies on arrival to chocolates by the bedside, this was a memorable stay even if it was less than 14 hours total. Highly recommended.

  • Lovely bedroom with comfortable bed and private bath. Shelly and Neil were extremely hospitable and their home is beautiful. Floor heating, so no cold feet getting out of the shower! Excellent breakfast on eggs from Shelly's hens, made even better since it was accompanied by conversation from our host, giving us insight about Canada. This too-short stay felt like visiting a friend.

  • Excellent value, beautiful & comfortable room with great views.

    Yvonne2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here. Shelley and her husband were very welcoming. They have a beautiful home and awesome view. Our room was clean and spacious. I loved that we had a door to go outside from our room so not to disturb the owners. Shelley recommended a few places to eat locally and we loved that too....the cute litte extra touches of bath salts and popcorn were cute....Highly recommend! Havre boucher is a lovely spot ...oh I almost forgot breakfast was amazing! Shelley served us with a homemade fruit cup with yogurt and a sprinkle of granola on top and then we had eggs, toast, hashbrown with fresh morning coffee and orange juice :) You have to stay here you will love it!

She was kind enough to stay up until we arrived (after midnight) to make sure we were comfortable and settled in. Great hospitality, great location. This is a unique space with breathtaking views to wake up to!

  • The pictures barely do this place justice. It is amazing to watch the Pilot Whales flipping in the ocean as you are playing in the comfort of your heated pool watching the sunset. There are good hiking trails and rocky beach access right from the front door and the fire pit and star gazing at night was fun. We saw 7 shooting stars one night. While it certainly feels remote, there are groceries, booze, gift shops, restaurants and live music within a 15 minute drive in either direction. Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs were only 40mins away and serves as the perfect home base for driving, day tripping and hiking around the Cabot Trail. Ellen and Charlie were around when needed and incredible hosts. We didn't have time to visit The Fortress at Louisbourg this trip and never saw any moose... but otherwise it was the idyllic Cape Breton vacation and hope that everyone who is lucky enough to visit has as great an experience as we did. Thanks Ellen and Charlie!

    Evan2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Ellen & Charlie's place as a group of 8 persons and enjoyed the sunny stay very much. Plenty of space, a large pool, BBQ, clean and fully equipped house, spectacular sunset view from the terrace and sandy beaches nearby. We were welcomed in person by our friendly host - a place all of us would want to return to.

    Klaus2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The pool, sunsets and beautiful surrounding beaches are only a few of the reasons to be visiting this beautiful spot in Cape Breton! We had an amazing time with 4 kids and 4 adults. Space for everyone with lots of comfy beds. We spent many evenings in the screened in porch which offered us amazing views but tucked us out of the wind. We would love to come back!

    Addie2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This house is stunning, clean , and beautiful. The heated pool was our kids highlight. Picturesque sunsets, walking trails, privacy and luxury. Ellen and Charlie were wonderful throughout the process.

We were there for a volleyball tournament and the location was perfect. Damian was kind enough to deliver a new can opener when the ither broke, which was very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this place!

  • Tim and France have a sweet bungalow very close to the NSCC Nautical Campus which was the purpose of our trip. Check in was easy, home was spotless, there were 3 bedrooms, the 2 we used were both very comfortable lots of closet space. Nice view of the water (unfortunately with sub zero March temperatures we only enjoyed from indoors rather than the patio. Tim was very quick to respond to questions and changes to our reservation. Highly recommend and we will be back when the weather is better to be able to explore the area more.

    Kathy2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We were in Port Hawkesbury for a hockey tournament with our two teenage sons and with this spacious home we had plenty of room to relax and have our own space. It definitely felt like our home away from home. The location is minutes from the all amenities that made things easier for us to stop and pick things up when we needed them. We ran into a small problem during check in but the immediate response by Tim and how quickly he fix it was impressive. Having a place like Tims made our weekend so much better. I would recommend his place and the next time I need a place to stay in the Port Hawkesbury area I will definitely stay there again .

**We want to remind everyone we don’t have wifi or satellite/cable -We’re taking you back to 1990’s” Are you looking for a little R&R? Well Off The Beaten Track is for you! Picture yourself enjoying an ocean view from every window, sipping coffee on the deck in the morning and wine in the evenings.. Off the Beaten Track offers tranquility at its best. ** keep in mind the drive across the beach is rough approx 0.8 KM of road - I drive my Jetta Accross, just take your time and enjoy the view**
While we still have lots of work ahead of us to have the property looking its best - we wanted to be able to share the quiet and peaceful paradise with those who need a much needed break! Enjoy the beautiful view of St.Georges Bay from our brand new deck. During fishing season if you’re a early morning person, you can also enjoy watching the fisherman head out for the day. You can enjoy the beach as it's steps away from the deck or Enjoy Myettes beach which is a 5 minute walk Since we don’t have WIFI and we understand some need to be connected - we want to let you know we do have reception for sure with our TELUS provider so we assume would be the same for all cell devices – We decided to go old school at for TV – Bringing 1990's back with V.H.S & DVD’s along with a stereo with outdoor speakers hooked up! It’s a nice time to remind ourselves of what it was like before the internet!! We also have board games and cards.
We are located 25 Mins from town of Antigonish and even closer to Port Hawkesbury (depending on what way you're coming from). Gas Station: There is a Petro Gas Station/Robin's Coffee Shop/General Store (NSLC) a 8 min drive from the Mini, located at the Monastery (Exit 37)turn off the highway. ** We will discuss directions but when you see the sign shown on pictures, drive along the beach** Local place to eat is Big Momma’s. TASTY Directions to the mini is on 357 B 58 Road Tracadie Nova Scotia Nova Scotia - it’s the only lot on the road completely cleared to the water. You can’t miss it. ** As mentioned road is dirt road- but enjoy the cottage country feel**
  • Denise's mini is a gorgeous little getaway; it's cozy, clean, has epic views and the best beach vibes. The space is spotless and stylish and Denise is an excellent host, any questions we had were promptly answered! This is the place to turn off and relax - like their sign says 'pretend its 1995'. If you are looking for a place to unwind and take in some gorgeous sunrises/sunsets this mini is for you.

    Jessica2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Denise is the ideal hostess. She went above and beyond for us. I wish we had actually got to meet her. Hopefully next time because I am sure we will be back. We have stayed at lots of places and this is #1 on our list. The mini is right on the ocean, private, very well equipped and just overall awesome!!!

    Colleen2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • A slice of heaven.

    Bonnie2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Off the Beaten Path completely exceeding our expectations. The photos and reviews were great but it really does not put it into perspective until you are there to see it for yourself. Their spot and view is stunning, the accommodations are top notch and is so peaceful and tranquil. Truly a peace of heaven! Denise thought of everything that guests could possibly need to be comfortable while staying with them. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. We live within Antigonish County but we’re looking for somewhere close to stay by the ocean and we’re so thankful that we were able to spend some time at off the beaten path. While we were there we were trying to find dates for when we can return. So looking forward to our next stay!

    Deidre2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was amazing, and Denise is a fabulous host! We enjoyed our restful visit away from the hustle and bustle and filled our time with walks on the beach, fires by the ocean, listening to the waves sitting on the patio deck, and waking up to beautiful sunrises. Our dogs loved the huge yard to play in as well as the freedom on the beach leash free.

    Dione2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so beautiful!! Super clean with an unbelievable view. We all were setting our alarms to see the sun rise each morning. Denise was also easy to reach and thought of everything anyone could need, nicely decorated and cozy. Close friends and family stopped in and everyone felt at home. Thanks for sharing your amazing and tranquil space, so appreciated after a long journey with cancer, our mom laid on the sofa all winter during chemo dreaming of the ocean. This was the perfect spot. The Tate’s and family.

    Jessica2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay! Denise was kind and responsive before and throughout our visit. It is evident that she puts effort and thought into the little details, such as having bowls laid out for our dogs. The cottage itself was updated, stylish, spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean! The views from every window were to die for. The front deck was perfect for lounging in the sun and watching the ocean. It was incredible to have the beach just steps away! It had an excellent mix of shallow water to walk along and spaces that were deep enough for swimming. This was a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy, and tour Nova Scotia. We will definitely stay again!

    Genevieve2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Denise’s place is immaculate comfortable (great air conditioning), and has a breath taking view. We loved our time there.

Out the back door you will find a great place for morning walks, running and first class striped bass fishing. Privacy at its best. Property is located on a dirt road.

Ocean, gas station, grocery, beaches, Bayfield beach, Chisholm’s beach, Cape Breton, Cabot Trail, hiking trails.
  • Clint was an excellent host and really helped make our trip to NS enjoyable. The house was in a great location as it was private and tucked away, but close enough to Cape Breton for us to drive the Cabot Trail in one day.

    Emily2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • The secluded waterfront home sits’s on a private island. It is absolutely breathtaking, relaxing and clean. Our host, Clint, was fantastic. He responded quickly to any questions we may of had and is extremely informative regarding the area. Also, he was generous in sharing one of his fishing rod’s with us & a place to catch Striped Bass. We had no luck, but Clint was kind enough to share his catch with us. Many thanks!! It was delicious!! There is no doubt in our minds we would look up the availability of his home on our next visit to Nova Scotia,

  • A must stay! The property and location is incredible, supported by a great host. You won’t be disappointed.

  • We had a great Labour Day long weekend at the Sandpiper Seaside Lodge. I recommend staying here.

    Dwight2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time. The place really gives you a feeling of “getting away” - the setting is beautiful and relaxing. Clint was very responsive, and came by to bring a couple things we were missing soon after we mentioned it.

    Sarah2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, spectacular views. Everything you could want for a weekend or a week. Clint was very easy to deal with.

    Ivan2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay — so much that we chose to stay around and enjoy the beautiful view rather than drive around the area as planned! Views of the sunrise and moonrise from Clint’s place were spectacular.. one of our nicest BNB experiences! Clint was a great host and our communication was excellent.. we hope to be back!

    Patty2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Clints' place is truly spectacular. The house is quite new, well appointed and very comfortable. Clint met us and escorted us in to the location which is a little complicated to get to but well worth it. The yard is open and grassy, the views are interesting and there is lots of birdlife incuding eagles, terns and geese.

A cozy, secluded and private studio cottage with the ocean at your front door. Make our cottage a home base for your outdoor adventures to the surrounding areas of Cape Breton and Antigonish & Guysburough Counties. Or enjoy a peaceful and romantic getaway with a priceless view of the sunset from the front porch of the cottage every evening.
This a a small, very private, studio space with a bunk bed that has a full size mattress on the bottom and a single on the top. The space is great for a couple, a small family or a few close friends. There is a small refrigerator, instant hot water, coffee maker, grill and limited essential kitchen ware to use on a picnic table directly outside the cottage. We provide complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water refills. There is a full bathroom with shower in the cottage. There is a charging/playing station for iPods/phones. We can provide a pack and play upon request.
The cottage is on an island with less than ten other seasonal cottages. It is very secluded with the beach steps from your door. You will need to drive down a gravel road for about 3 miles and over a beach causeway but is easily accessible in all vehicles. It's a great base for day trips to Cape Breton, Antigonish County and the surrounding famous hiking and biking trails.
  • Perfect spot.

  • Fantastic waterfront cottage in a beautiful region of Nova Scotia!

    Sam2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • if you're after your own space in a nicely equipped cabin this is it. neighbours are there but not too close. ocean shore right outside your door. equipped with everything we wanted. nothing fancy but functional. the rocking chairs on the front porch and available gas bbq are nice touches. we enjoy our own space rather than sharing a hallway and bath with others and this met our needs perfectly

    richard2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This little gem is in a fairly remote location in that it is near town, but still isolated. The cabin is just yards from the waters edge...fabulous. The cabin is very small. But quaintly appointed.

    Michelle2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect spot for a private and quaint stay ! It was just off the beaten track, and was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks Marcie.

    Bill2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely LOVED Marcie’s beach bunkie! We didn’t arrive until later, it was dark, but as soon as we pulled up we were excited! Marcie gave use great directions to get to the cottage in the dark. Entering the cottage, we absolutely loved how cute and small it was, with absolutely everything you’d need for the stay!! We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance!!

    Allyssa2019-08-26T00:00:00Z

    Chris2019-08-25T00:00:00Z

A fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet area that faces and overlooks Cape Breton and the Strait of Canso. It is a detached apartment over our garage with private entrance. We are about 45 minutes from Cabot Links Golf Course, about an hour away from courses in Baddeck and about an hour away from the start of the Cabot Trail. Boat tours can be arranged through us aboard The Old Stick. We do Bluefin Tuna Charters from August 1st till late October Come enjoy Nova Scotia!
We live in a very quiet neighbourhood overlooking the Strait of Canso and Cape Breton.
  • Thanks Gail for making available a really perfect place . clean, quiet and great location. loved every thing about it would return and recommend; david and joan

  • To say that Gail and her husband went above and beyond is truly an understatement. My husband and his friend arrived, on motorcycles, for the night to do the Cabot Trail the next day, which they did. Upon the final leg of the journey, the last half hour was in pouring rain. When they arrived back at their lodgings, Gail came out and offered them the use of their garage to get the bikes out of the rain. Thank #1. Then Gail advised my husband that there would be HEAVY rains tomorrow morning and perhaps they might want to checkout an hour later then the scheduled 11:00am checkout to try and let the rain pass. Thank you #2. The next day, Gail and her husband offer my husband and his friend the opportunity to stay an extra night, due to the very heavy rains and high winds. Thank you #3. My husband decided to take them up on their offer. Nobody likes battling the elements on a motorcycle. And the absolutely piece de resistance....... Gail and husband then offered my husband the use of their vehicle so that he could go get some food for the night. AMAZING! Truly the best type of hospitality you could ever hope for is from the people the take the time to understand what type of predicament you are in and they help you in anyway they can. Thank you #4.

    Hanton2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a clean, comfortable, simple little spot where one can unwind after a day of travel or exploring. The beds are very comfortable. It’s a bit close to the road and owners house so it’s not extremely private but much more private than say a camper in a campground. The host adds a lot of personal touches such as campfire blankets and roasting sticks. There is a bbq, campfire pit and little brook. Hot water, a shower and more. We would stay again!

    Tanya2019-09-02T00:00:00Z

Pilots' Getaway - a breathtaking scenery
Welcome to our three-story home, nestled on a private 18-acre peninsula with sweeping views of Breen's Pond, St. George's Bay and the Cape George Lighthouse. Lovely wallks to the beach (15-20 min.) or you may take the kayaks and you´ll be there just within 8 minutes, as the house is set off by itself right on the Breens´s Pond. Every room and deck has such a lovely view of sky and water, it's like living in a watercolor. Only 4 minutes away from the village of Havre Boucher, where you can buy fresh lobster (in season) off boat, 20 minutes from Cape Breton with its famed Cabot Trail, Celtic Music Interpretive Center, Whale watching, and Gampo Abbey and only twenty-five minutes from the charming University town of Antigonish with its fine restaurants and dining. You will be welcomed by an extraordinary array of birds and wildlife that share this serene and unspoiled place - bald eagle, artic tern, marsh hawk, kingfisher, blue heron, rabbit, and deer, just to name a few.
About 5 minutes away by car, at Havre Boucher, you will find a great convenience store, Gary´s, they bake bread and pastrys daily and a post office. You will find the bigger grocery stores, Sobeys, in Antigonish or Port Hawkesbury. Each way will take about 25 minutes by car. If you are planning some trips to Cape Breton, there is an information center just outside of the causeway.
  • This is a very lovely cottage on a spectacular property! The cottage is pristine with beautiful rooms and furnishings. Very spacious. Many decks to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets and sunrises and beautiful views over the pond, beach and ocean. A wonderful area to explore or to stay put and be cozy. The hosts are extremely gracious, welcoming, friendly and obviously take great pride in their property. Maike communicated often and responded immediately to any questions.

    Lori2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • A quiet, private and peaceful cottage to get away from it all and unwind. At the same time, conveniently located within a short drive to Cape Breton and other lovely spots in North East Nova Scotia. Nice beaches, spectacular views and lots of opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. The cottage was very well equipped for cooking. It was nicely decorated, warm and cozy inside and providing beautiful views from every room. Outside, you can enjoy nice walks, kayaking on the pond or just relaxing on one of the lovely decks. We loved it! Our host Maike was easy to reach, provided us with lots of info and answered questions in full detail. It was very apparent that she wanted us to enjoy ourselves and went out of her way to make sure we were settled with everything we needed. A very kind, warm, hospitable host with a fun sense of humour. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

    Sheri2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Peace and tranquility- generosity and friendliness in every direction! This home gets a six star rating!!!! We watched a bear swim across the pond, kayaked and meandered down the rocky shoreline. It is an astonishingly gorgeous home!

    Mary2018-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful spot. Check in was easy, communication was flawless, house was sparkling and everything was perfect. The view is breathtaking. There are multiple places to enjoy the sunset. The screen pourch is the perfect place to spend a late night. we would 100% recommend a stay at Pilot's Getaway.

    Barbara2018-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Pilot’s Getaway is a comfortable and stylish house with a spectacular view of a pond and the ocean. It is tucked between Antigonish and Cape Breton Island, with access to each by car. The location is quiet and beautiful, and a great spot for ‘chillaxing’ on one of the four decks on the house. Windows overlook a large pond and offered us spectacular sunsets. We found the house true to the description, and the notes from Maike provided an added bonus of information to prepare us and welcome us for our visit. The property has a few mown paths where you can stretch your legs and view wildflowers, birds, insects, and hear (but not see!) frogs. This is a getaway, and although there is a convenience shop nearby, your best bet could be to stock up and enjoy the space.

    Rosa2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • If your looking for an extremely clean house with peace and quiet, here is your place! Nestled in the trees with an amazing view of the sunset each and every night, cool ocean breeze and lots of wildlife to make your trip very memorable. I have nothing bad to say about the house or the owners, glad I stumbled upon it!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't thank the hosts enough for opening up their home so that we could enjoy this absolute slice of heaven! Each night the sunset was even better than the night before and the water was amazing. We all enjoyed combing the beach each morning and had a blast playing games and doing puzzles at night. Unplugging with no TV was genius! The beds were comfy and they have thought of everything a guest could ever need! It was right off the causeway and close to grocery shops and gas. Great spot to relax and unwind or travel around the island from. We enjoyed our stay so much we skipped doing the Cabot Trail just to enjoy a leisurely day here chilling and enjoying the scenery and wildlife. Hosts were great reply to our questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

    Torena2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • When we arrived at this house, it felt like the perfect cottage overlooking the rest of the island. This gorgeous place was about 10 minutes from some stores in town. Watching the sunrise and set was beautiful. The views of the water and landscape were amazing. Also this place was far enough from the road and away from other properties that it felt very private. Inside was nice and clean, a well taken care of place. The beds were comfortable for our liking. We would definitely love to stay here again, and we would make sure it was much longer so we could spend a day at the place enjoying the landscape surrounding this little cottage. Thanks again Andre and Donna!

  • Great cabin! Had everything we needed.good location for starting our Cabot Trail trip. Steve was a great host. I would recommend this place to my friends.

  • Thank you Steve for a great stay and kind hospitality. It was a pleasure meeting you, and we are only sorry we didn't book a couple nights during our spin around Cape Breton as we would have loved to enjoy a chill night by the fire. We were thoroughly pleased with the space and would highly recommend stopping at this beautiful spot to anyone travelling this way!

Very short distance to excellent food and shops. The place was very clean and had all the amenities that we required.Steve is easily accessible and very helpful with tips on the surrounding area.

  • Good value. Near the highway which is convenient, but if your windows are open can be a little loud. Lovely scenic spot

  • Our stay at Onshore Winds Chalet was very pleasant. Detailed directions were given, and local tips provided. Check in and out was very smooth. We stayed twice at this property during our recent visit to Nova Scotia, and enjoyed being able to cook dinner with everything we needed at our fingertips. This is a cozy and inviting place to rest while exploring Nova Scotia. Julie was very friendly and accommodating, and Steve was always quick to respond and to our queries. Thanks for a great couple of stays! Lara and Jay

This is a newly renovated farmhouse overlooking one of the most beautiful vistas on Cape Breton Island. 10 minutes from the Canso Causeway and 45 minutes to the Cabot Links Golf Course. A short walk to the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail which connects to the local beach and miles of coastline. A great home base for the annual Celtic Colours International Festival.
  • Great location close to the causeway/Port Hastings/Port Hawkesbury. The house had everything we needed along with a view you won’t believe. Melinda and Scott were great and check in was a breeze. Thanks again

  • We had a lovely 4 days here. We split our time between beach and Cape Breton sightseeing. We highly recommend this place!

    Paul2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • The home is located not far from the Canso Causeway, which was a good starting point for our exploring of Cape Breton. Scott and Melinda had great touches of hospitality, including local brochures for several points of interest. The home was comfortable for our 2 adults and 4 kids...we even had an extra bedroom. It was warm when we were there but keeping the upstairs windows open provided a cool breeze at night. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We would love to come back and visit someday!

Beautiful property facing St.George’s bay on 52 acres. You can enjoy a walking trail around the property that takes you to the water. Bring a kayak and paddle across the little inlet to a private beach on the bay. Sit and enjoy peaceful sunsets/rises. Property has own private driveway. Home is clean and grounds well maintained. There are several other beaches in the local area Myette’s beach is a short 3km drive from the home. The home is located 15 min from Antigonish.
This is my home however you have the place to yourself and share with those you are traveling with.
My home is located in Tracadie, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is on a large property very private with few neighbors and little traffic. Take in the Antigonish HIghland games and other festivities in the Antigonish area or travel 20kms to the Cape Breton Causway and enjoy the Granville on the Green

  • Shelleys directions to her place got us there perfectly. We booked on short notice but even still, the hosts were there smiling and happy to greet us upon arrival. There is a very sweet small dog on site, Penny, whose prime ambition in life seems to be to give kisses and love out to everyone, but she keeps to herself if left alone. The space is spectacular, and showed off the couples prairie roots inside and breathtaking views of the ocean outside. The rooms are so homey and cozy, yet have everything you need and more! Bubble bath, extra toothbrush, and slippers were nice touches. Shelley offered me a wine glass and we were able to keep our drinks cool in the mini fridge provided in the room. In the morning we were served a beautiful filling breakfast, which we enjoyed over conversation getting to know the couple. It was a lovely experience overall and I recommend staying at “Rest Ashored” to anybody considering it!

    Alyssa2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Shelley and Neil have created an oasis of calm. The room was exactly as shown in the photographs and the views were even more amazing than the photos. In every respect this is a five star stay - the bed is extremely comfortable, the fit, finish and decor is top tier and most importantly the hospitality is second to none. Highly recommended!!

    Lisa2019-11-07T00:00:00Z

The bed was the most comfy place I’d slept in a week, the floors were heated, and the view Outside of the property was amazing. Breakfast was great. Hosts were accommodating and helpful and I felt very comfortable. I would recommend staying here

We were able to cook breakfast and a late checkout was accommodated since we had to drive an extra couple hours to this location rather than where we planned on the opposite coast of CB island. • Ellen & Charlie’s house is BEAUTIFUL! My partner said he felt like the photos didn’t do the house justice. It’s situated on a quiet lot facing the water. Unfortunately the weekend we came was grey and rainy, we still enjoyed the tranquil view and our stay. There are many amenities - a pool, huge TV, full kitchen, a deck, outside fireplace, and more. I can imagine this house being fun for summertime. It was cozy and warm, and the heated bathroom floors are a big plus! Thank you - we really enjoyed our stay!
