The place is amazing. Every corner filled with love. Each room has it's own unique design. Sandy welcomed us and gave a very detailed tour of the property. And the pool is great! This is not your ordinary "hotel type place/ just for a night". It's very cute and unique place. We have such amazing memories of our stay! Will definitely come back again! It was my second visit and everything was beyond my expectations.

Our stay was amazing! My boyfriend and I wanted a mini getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and this was a perfect location for that. The place was even better than the pictures! Fully stocked with everything you could imagine, so much so, my trip to the grocery store before hand was in vain. Sandy was an amazing host, so warm and welcoming she made us feel very at ease. We plan on visiting again as soon as possible.

Sandy did an amazing job at making us feel welcome! The home and grounds were immaculate and had everything we needed! She stocked the fridge with great breakfast items, eggs, muffins, with little touches like special spreads and ice coffee beverages. We loved being able to watch birds in the trees and horses in the distance right from our breakfast nook! It was our first Airbnb experience and will be a tough one to match. It is evident Sandy loves what she does and its reflected in all the little touches that made this home a great rental for us! bed was comfy and living space was perfect for my husband and I who stayed two nights.

Sandy was an excellent host during our stay at the Promised Lands! She greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a quick tour/overview of the property. The property itself was tucked away and very peaceful. Every amenity you could possibly imagine was provided. It was very convenient! Sandy did a great job of balancing both giving us privacy but also being attentive to anything we should need. It was a great stay, and we would definitely recommend this location!

Sandy's place was just lovely and it was the perfect spot for a quiet weekend away from the city. She provided everything you could think of, including coffee, snacks, multiple beverages, breakfast items, local menus, and folding chairs if you wanted to go a concert or nearby event. The apartment was clean and cozy and the bed was quite comfortable! She gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived, you can tell she loves being a host! The place was very private, but she was easily available by text if we had questions. I would highly recommend staying here! We would happily come back again.

Absolutely wonderful!! We loved the place. The scenery and location are just perfect. The home is beautiful, but Sandy really paid attention to the little things, and that made it even better!! The listing page was fairly accurate. We stayed at the Abbey about 30 or 35 years ago so we sort of knew the area. We were there because my husband had a trial in McHenry Co and there are no hotels or airbnb places in Woodstock - so this was the closest place.

This was our first experience with Airbnb and it was a very positive one! Our stay was wonderful! The accommodations were great and we thoroughly enjoyed the well landscaped grounds from our spacious patio. We also loved the many activities that were available ... swimming, walks on the lake trails, great places to eat out, boating, and a fantastic beach. Vida was amazing. She was available for any questions we had and even check in with us to make sure everything was acceptable. Can't wait to return again!

This transaction was simple and met/exceeded our expectations. The unit was recently rehabbed and Sal did a great job - Many of the Abbey Villas are a little dated so this was a nice surprise. The kitchen was stocked with all of the pots, pans, small appliances that one would need to cook successfully. The pool is right outside and includes a shallow pool for toddlers. Perfect location for access to chucks and gordy's.

This condo unit is beautifully updated with a clean, modern feel. The common areas and pool are nicely manicured and well maintained. The price was less than 2 rooms at the neighboring hotel; but provided so much more for a comfortable weekend. Host responded immediately to email/text questions about the unit and access. Overall, completely satisfied and very pleased.

Beautiful place in a really neat area of Wisconsin. Owner is very responsible and provides everything that you need for a relaxing weekend. Very clean restrooms and kitchens. Also a cool building, talking with the owner he said it was built in the 1850's.

Ryan was very quick in communication through Airbnb. Check-in process was super easy with a Gate person who gave us a key. The place was neat and very clean. It actually looked better than the pictures. We were having a family outing with 6 adults with no kids, and the place had enough beds for us. The master bedroom had a King bed and a sofa bed. Two rooms upstairs had 2 bunker beds in each. The kitchen had nice/clean appliances with enough utensils, cups, plates. There was one pot and one pan which was enough for us. The place is in the Abbey Spring Golf course, and it was nice because we went out for golfing. The weather was little chill for May, but the place heating system kept the place warm and comfortable. It's about 15 minutes drive to Lake Geneva downtown for good restaurants and some fun. Definitely recommending to stay.

Ryan was an excellent host and was attentive in responding to my messages before I left to travel to USA. The house itself was beautiful and the setting stunning. I have no hesitation in recommending this host and his home to all who want a special woodland retreat in a very special community. My only regret was that I didn't have time to enjoy the indoor pool and other great facilities at the Club. A totally positive experience.

We were excited to go away for a girls weekend! When we arrived, it was clear the place had not been cleaned from the previous guests. The beds were not made (looked like people had just rolled out of them!), water bottles on all the night stands, a full garbage bag sitting on the floor, food left in the sink, and crumbs all over the dining room table. There was also moldy food in the fridge, standing water in the sink, and no clean towels or toilet paper in the bathroom. I reached out to Ryan via airbnb and he immediately called me. Apparently, after the guests from last weekend left, the cleaning service never showed, unbeknownst to him. He was very apologetic and offered to refund our entire weekend, so we could stay free of charge. This was a very respectable gesture, and we appreciate his attempt to make things right! The cleaning service showed up that night and were there for 3 hours or so...so Friday was basically a wash. Once the place was cleaned, it was very comfortable and we had a great time! We would definitely stay here again, so long as the cleaning service was consistent:) It was a great home in a beautiful location. Thank you, Ryan!

Ryan has a fantastic property! I stayed here for the MLK weekend with 3 other friends. The place was perfect, with a great setup for friends. Ryan answered all our questions promptly and we can't wait to stay again. I've spent the last couple of days telling everyone how nice it was.

Ryan's house is cute, comfortable, and accommodated our 6 guests very nicely. We did have some issues with getting into the gated community. We were able to get a hold of the host and it was remedied quickly. Something to do with paperwork. Ultimately I'm not sure if this was the host's issue or the office staff's issue. The showers could have been cleaner (the glass doors were pretty dirty) and we had to search for extra toilet paper. But overall, we had an enjoyable stay and the amenities in the community were great!

The lake house is beautiful & incredibly spacious. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. My only complaint is regarding the guards at the front of the property on Abby Springs. It's almost as if they resent owners who rent out their property, and then take it out on the renters. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Great space for for relaxing and being close to the lake front. Cute little shops and restaurants are within wlaking distance. If you want to drive ten minutes to the next town over, check out Tienda El Rancho in Lake Geneva for some amazing Mexican food.

Susan was the hostess with the most-ess. Susan was most gracious, caring, personable and open to making us as comfortable as possible. Communication was quick and efficient before and during our stay as well. Susan's apartment easily became "home" for our extended stay. Everything one could possibly need was provided... a well stocked kitchen, big bright windows in the living room, cable TV and wifi, a lovely patio overlooking the back yard, great water pressure in the shower and a comfy bed with a small sitting area in the bedroom. All this and more to make us feel at home. You will love the friendly quaint town of Woodstock as well. Thank you Susan. We hope to see you again next visit to Woodstock.

Everything was once again wonderful at Sue's cozy apartment. She went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating of me--from picking me up at the train station when it was way too cold to walk, to inviting me out for tea on a slow Sunday, to leaving me scones and fruit when I first arrived, to making sure that my new car had a warm spot in the garage. I appreciated the space. It was big enough for me to stretch out in and comfortable enough to be able to relax after a long day downtown. I don't believe that there was anything that I needed that I would not have felt comfortable asking Sue for. It was so wonderful that I'm going to stay for another month!

We had such a great time staying at Susan's apartment, and she was the nicest host! The apartment is beautiful and extremely cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, and there was an awesome Bose system to play music while we hung out. The town is really cool with a great central square area. We spent the weekend with 8 friends in Lake Geneva and our stay at the Bay House was great. The house was cozy, clean and spacious and we all fit comfortably. The house is walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to downtown Lake Geneva. Holly answered questions quickly and provided great suggestions of things to do in the area.

Loved Holly's place. It's in a great location - just a couple blocks from the lake, nature preserve, a gallery, and a couple restaurants. There is a public lakeshore path that winds through yards, which is a neat vantage point - some old and beautiful homes to see. There are a few games, books, and DVDs for use, as well as some outdoor toys - we played bags in the back yard (50 degrees in February and no snow). Note that there is no dishwasher.

This was perfect! Highly recommended!
