Ideally placed for the centre of town. We were seeing a show at the theatre and it was less than 5 mins on foot to get there. Parking on street was available. There was a small charge for an hour or son on the Friday, but then its free after 6. We were up and out walking Saturday so didn't have to pay and Sunday was free. Apartment is small but has everything we needed for our stay. The place was clean, kitchen well equipped and the bed comfy. If you want somewhere to use as a base to explore or head out for walks it's ideal. Neil was very good at communicating with us and offered suggestions of places near the theatre we may like to try.

Good location close to Halifax centre but quiet.

Neil is a very helpful host and the flat is in a great spot to get into town and out and about into the surrounding countryside. Flat is clean and has everything you need. Shower is great and bed and duvet very comfortable and cozy. Would recommend.

Lovely little flat on the 1st floor - very cosy, quiet and comfortable. Great bed & bedding. Neil was a very kind, responsive host and added a few extra things that were needed for my 10 day stay. Perfect location for all things central and transport links all over Yorkshire.

Neil’s place is perfect for visiting Halifax! It’s a short 5-8 minute walk from the train station, and a great jumping off point for exploring this quaint historic town. It is on a quiet street, but most sites of interest are in easy walking distance. Neil also gave great recommendations (for both food and sightseeing) and told a few stories that only someone who has lived in Halifax his whole life could share. It was really special! We didn’t have the best weather, but the apartment was warm and cozy to come back to after walking around in the rain all day.

Nice and compact place to stay near to town centre.

Superb central location. The apartment is spacious and has quality furnishings despite the budget friendly price. As a host Gary was great. Quick communication and was on hand if I needed anything. Would gladly recommend the apartment.

Clean well furnished flat . Perfect town centre location .

We needed a one-night in Halifax, close to a party venue at Dean Clough Mills, at a reasonable price, and Garry's place did not disappoint. Some highlights: Garry was able to answer our questions about the location and gaining access promptly and precisely. Gaining access was quick and easy. We were able to find (roadside) parking right outside the apartment (which was also reasonably priced - £2 for 2 hours; free between 6PM & 8AM and all day Sunday). The apartment was warm, the bed comfy, and tea and coffee was provided. As expected, because it's a town-centre location, there was some noise at 'kicking out' time, but nothing a pair of ear plugs couldn't mask. Happy to recommend Garry's place.

Great location, warm and clean. Garry was very helpful let us leave our bags after check in as our train home wasn’t until the afternoon.

Although I didn't get to actually come to halifax as planned, Garry's kind consideration of the reason for my visit and things I might need to consider about the location was deeply appreciate. His communication was super quick and clear and I will absolutely book with Garry when my trip is rearranged.

Better than expected

Garry place is very spacious and is very conveniently located in the town centre. Also Garry was very accommodating and quick to respond although we did not meet him personally.

Dean’s house is wonderful - so beautifully decorated, very central, very comfortable. Every we needed! Dean was lovely and extremely welcoming. I would highly recommend staying at Dean’s to anyone visiting Halifax.

Dean has a spacious, clean and well equipped house. It was really quiet with a comfy bed. His communication was great. Unfortunately the boiler stopped working while I was there but Dean arranged for me to get a hot shower elsewhere and was really accommodating about checkout timings which I appreciated! Thanks for a great stay.

I reviewed Dean's place a few weeks back after a single night stay, but wanted to write a second review after staying a full week for work in the area. Dean is very friendly and accommodating, he even left me so fresh bread that he had made one morning! Despite being in the centre of town, it is a very quiet and tranquil property. I made full use of the kitchen facilities during my stay, preparing food for long days at work, and found all the utensils etc required for this. A really great stay all round!

Very professional, communicative and flexible. Room was even more tasteful than the pics would tell. Highly recommended!

Dean has a really special place, with stylish decor, clean and comfortable rooms and facilities, and all within a 5-10 minute walk of the city centre. I only stayed a night, but have booked a week long visit for my next stint of work in the area, which I'm very much looking forward to. Highly recommended!

Cosy and stylish place; amazing host

Dean is the perfect host, welcoming and friendly, his home is stylish and comfortable and so close to the city centre. Stayed for a month for work and was like a home from home will absolutely be back again.

Great place, right in the middle of town and less than 10 min walk to everything. Really nice pubs and bars around. Great hosts, very helpful. Check in with codes on the doors so makes it very easy.

A really lovely place to stay while I was in Halifax for a wedding - a great, stylish home that was very comfortable and clean, as well as being very close to the town centre. Dean was really helpful and flexible with check-in and check-out arrangements and got in touch to check I was settled in ok. I was sorry not to be staying a bit longer and would definitely stay again.

deans place is perfect for any event in Halifax as few minutes to walk into town lots of pubs and eating places nearby . Dean was very welcoming and his home was perfect clean .tastefully decorated would definitely stay again 🙂🙂

Clean, bright, modern apartment that is well placed for central Halifax. We found it quiet and restful.

This was the perfect home base for our stay in Halifax. Just a quick walk to the Piece Hall, Halifax Central Library, and other local hot spots. We came to visit the “Gentleman Jack” sights and had a lovely experience. The host was also very attentive, responsive, and communicative throughout our stay!

Very handy for central Halifax, clean and perfect for a short stay. Parking right outside was a bonus.

Nice space

This was a great Airbnb. Very close to everything and the town is small and easy to navigate. There is great security and the hosts always messaged me and kept in contact throughout my stay. Would highly recommend staying here I had no issues.

Really good value for money at this apartment very modern and stylish. Bed very comfy and had everything you need in the room including a washing machine. Neighbours were quiet unless you have the window open and can hear the street below.
