  • Donald's home was the perfect escape over the holidays for a quiet and relaxing stay. The home is perfectly clean, with all the amenities you'll need to feel at home. The location couldn't have been better -- we were just a short drive from both downtown Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. I would highly recommend this AirBnB for families looking to explore the Traverse City area at a an affordable price.

This amazing house was conceived with vacation travelers in mind YES we are PET FRIENDLY you’ll love this GEM of a place because of location we are close to numerous activities and great restaurants. Our vacation home is located on a 16 acre PRIVATE Lake, Lost Lake. RIGHT OFF US 31 just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen. 50" Smart TV with NETFLIX 27 miles to Sleeping Bear Dunes 3 miles Interlochen Arts Academy 13 miles Traverse City 3 Miles Blue Bridge Event
This special property features 2 separate units that are not connected internally aka a Duplex, with entrances on opposite sides of the house, nothing is shared except for the dock. Both are dedicated to vacation travelers, here are a few things PEOPLE LOVE about The Perfect Getaway. ONE OF OUR REVIEWS "Jeff’s properties are simply the best. I travel a lot, and stay in a lot of hotels and AirBnB’s. Jeff’s are by far the best anywhere, hands down. Jeff himself is also an amazing host. You won’t find a friendlier, more competent host anywhere. Brian" #1 Location, 17 miles to Crystal Mountain, 26 miles to the Sleeping Bears Dunes National Park, 20 minutes to Traverse City, 5 minutes to the World renowned Interlochen Arts Academy! 3 miles to the Blue Bridge Events Center! 1/2 mile to Interlochen Golf course, 30 miles to The Homestead. also our vacation home is located on OUR 16 acre PRIVATE LAKE "LOST LAKE" , RIGHT OFF OF US 31, just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen. #2 Our house is newly remodeled the unit is AIR CONDITIONED for those warm summer days, great effort has went into sound proofing one side from the other, this is what a recent guest had to say (The way the duplex is set up your privacy is not compromised at all. In fact I would of never known we had a neighbor unless I saw their car. We did not hear a peep. Gaea) #3 The YARD, PATIO & LAKE are awesome! It allows you to enjoy the best days of summer outside and grill to your heart's delight with the GRILL and BOATS found there! Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting. #1 NO PARTIES are permitted in our house or property at all times during your stay. #2 Our house is nice but its not perfect for all people, even though we have put lots of effort into this place there are always small what seem like trivial issues to most that really upset others such as, this is a Duplex, there is not a bathtub we have a stand up shower. There is a step up to get into the house. home is located RIGHT OFF OF US 31, Etc #3 We ask all our guests to respect the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at all times during their stay. We expect our Guests to be quiet after 11:00PM. So if you intend to behave like a party animal, our place is not for you but if you intend to behave like a resident, you should love your stay. Now that this is clear, let's get to the description of the place! The Perfect Getaway is located in Interlochen RIGHT OFF OF US 31 on LOST LAKE a 16 acre PRIVATE lake meaning privately owned by us, the center point of activities in the Traverse region. We can accommodate 4 GUESTS. THE Perfect Getaway (left side unit B RED DOOR) This unit features a kitchen that is fully equipped with all the essentials such as POTS & PANS, COFFEE MAKER, TOASTER, BLENDER, SLOW COOKER and your basic kitchen items to cook a nice meal.  This is a 1 BEDROOM unit with a queen size bed & all the linens you will need! The living room has a QUEEN SIZE HIDE A BED COUCH for 2 extra people (for a total of 4 guests) 50” Smart TV with NETFLIX, also has ULTRA FAST 5G WIFI .  The bathroom has a STAND UP SHOWER, HAIR DRYER, IRON & BOARD and WASHER & DRYER so that you can take care of your laundry needs.  This unit has a beautiful private deck & overlooks the lake and also has a PATIO TABLE / CHAIRS & outside GRILL so that you can truly enjoy those long summer days.
This property is part of a 37 acre partial & is basically located in the center of it, RIGHT OFF of US 31, other than a small part of the lake, we own it including the lake shore so it is a private lake.
  • Beautiful view. Cozy place. Great communication. Excellent amenities. It was a perfect weekend getaway with our pups.

    Emerald2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff was very helpful leading up to the trip. We visited here for a snowboarding trip and loved that it was close to Crystal Mountain and Traverse City. We love visiting this area with our pups, so this was the perfect spot — so peaceful in the morning!

    Tori2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! The lake was cool and the area was very nice.

    Pete2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this! Especially if you are a fisherman. This place is beautiful. The home is in a gorgeous lake and conveniently located to just about anything you could need. The home is as described. The extra little amenities were great especially for our weekend getaway, less to pack! And if you forget something there are stores right down the road. We went to the property for an ice fishing trip for the weekend and it was amazing. Theres a bait shop literally 2 houses down and the fishing was awesome and the lake is private which meant we had it to ourselves! The home was very clean and tastefully decorated. You are right off the highway, but inside the house you cant hear nothing of road noise. On our last night people were in the other half of the duplex but you couldn't hear them, with the exception of their dog barking. Jeff provided toiletries and little amenities like coffee and creamer and spices for cooking. The place even has a washer and dryer which was great to dry our wet clothes after ice fishing. Jeff was great with communicating making sure we arrived and were able to get in the home okay. The list of where to eat was great especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. We are hoping to come back again in the summer to see what the lake offers for fishing during the warm months.

    Audria2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We booked a place super last minute for a spontaneous trip north, and we were so excited to get a place this awesome so last minute, and then upon arriving it was even better than we already thought it was going to be! The space was modern but cozy, it had a beautiful yard and lake (which I'm sure is even more incredible in the summer), and Jeff literally provided EVERYTHING you could possibly need and was so helpful in general. Coffee, Netflix, extra blankets, a fan, a list of everything to do in town - this was by far my best Air Bnb experience. We will definitely be making a trip back in the future! Thank you Jeff!

    Steph2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff is a phenomenal host who provided an amazing experience. I would recommend to anyone and will come back!

    Arlen2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay here. Good location (quick trip to downtown traverse city) and well equipped place. Jeff was very communicative and responds quickly through the air bnb app. The place was spotless.

    Minal2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place was exactly as described and in a great location. A short drive to Crystal Mountain or Traverse City and many great local spots in between. Jeff was a great host and always answered promptly, would definitely recommend!

    Tracie2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Ruth’s AirBnb apartment was fantastic. The place was very clean and has a very attractive and functional layout. A short walk on a path leading from the backyard takes one out to a beautiful lake. Thoughtful touches in the apartment also make this place a great place to stay when you are in Interlochen.

    Ed2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Harmony House was perfect. The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful. Chris and Ruth were extremely welcoming and helpful. Their space was cozy and clean with all the little details. A coffee/tea station made a perfect grab and go breakfast. Settled in a quaint neighborhood, you still get that semi secluded feel and it is a quick drive away from some pretty cool hot spots. 10 out 10 would stay here again and definitely recommend to others. Thanks so much Chris and Ruth!!!

  • Excellent spot for a cozy and relaxing stay in Traverse City. We are so glad that we found this place. The place is exact to its description and well maintained. Very easy to communicate with the hosts. It was easy to get around Traverse City but not trapped in the holiday traffic. Our favorite part of the trip is waking up to the peaceful view of Silver Lake. It was absolutely stunning and calming. We definitely recommend this place. Thanks for hosting us, Jeff and Holly!

  • Came in for the Ironman 70.3 in Traverse City and this was the perfect home base. Jeff and Holly were excellent hosts, the communication was great and the place was fantastic. The location is great, less than 15 mins to downtown but in a quiet and beautiful area, and the house is right on Silver Lake, I even went for a quick swim. The place was extremely clean and nicely furnished, the bed was comfy, the kitchen was perfect, and there was a nice lounge area with a big TV etc if you wanted to chill out. If I'm ever in need of a place here in the future I'll be coming back!

  • Cute cottage. Has everything you need. Good storage in the pantry and upstairs. Great location. Quick drive to Traverse City. Tom is really quick to respond to any communication.

  • If you are looking for a quaint, comfortable cottage within a secluded community, this is the place for you! Just far enough (but not too far) from Traverse City downtown, you can both enjoy the beauty of nature while still being able to eat a delicious dinner downtown! We were able to travel to Sleeping Bear and hike the trails, then come back to the cottage and relax by the cute propane fireplace stand outside on the porch with warm cider. The cottage is decorated in a way that makes you feel like you are at home and the upstairs bedroom welcomes all of the morning hour sun. Great place to stay, 10/10 recommend!

  • This was the getaway that I needed. It was a bit of luxury added to a business trip. Arrived late and left early, but the comfy bed and the Keurig made my stay ahhhh relaxing and restful. Thanks!

  • Tom’s place is great. It’s very clean and in a beautiful quiet setting. Tom was a great host and prompt communicator. His website is very helpful for those wanting to explore the many great things to do in the area.

  • Tom and Lori are fabulous hosts. Quick to respond and very thoughtful. The cottage was perfect. Cozy, quaint ... just what we needed for our weekend away. Definitely a tucked away treasure. Off the beaten path but only minutes from downtown. We will stay here again!

This is a lower level one bedroom apartment decorated in a casual cottage style. It's about 800 square feet with a queen size bed in the one bedroom and a queen size fold out couch for extra sleeping room. We have a 8" super comfortable Air Comfort Dream Easy inflatable mattress with an electric internal pump to place over the existing fold out mattress. Ideal for those who want to be close to area attractions without staying in a tiny hotel room. Full kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge for those who want to save a little money by not eating every meal out. Short 5 mile drive into downtown Traverse City or Interlochen State Park or Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. 20 minute drive to the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival out in Williamsburg.
  • Lucy was the best. Greeted us, told us about touristy spots to travel to and gave us our privacy. Sweet lady who took great care of us. Would come back!!!

  • Our stay with Lucille was great. She greeted us when we arrived with a big smile and a plate of cookies. The apartment was clean and the decor was very charming. Lucille's place is an easy drive to downtown Traverse City. Highly recommend!!!

    Casey2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Lucille (Lucy) was a most gracious host! Very bubbly/ friendly. She was very intent on making our stay an enjoyable memory! She knows the area well and loved to share tips about where to go! __especially the best ice cream spot. Very clean cozy home. We hated to leave! Thanks!

  • Everything was as described or better. Extremely cozy, clean, and organized. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

    Scott2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lucille is a wonderful host and had homemade cookies from a local bakery when we arrived! The check in and check out processes were very easy and the apartment was nice and clean. The apartment is in a walk out basement, but there was a lot of light coming through a glass sliding door that we forgot that we were even in a basement! There was a full sized kitchen and refrigerator, so we were able to prepare our own meals during our stay. She even had a folder with brochures and information about local attractions and events! I plan to book my stay with Lucille the next time I'm in Traverse City!

    Kimberly2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lucy was an amazing host, she’s very responsive and highly thoughtful. The place was very clean and I felt right at home.

    Jacob2018-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • excellent little place!

    Stuart2018-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was absolutely perfect! It was like staying at a relative's house ... only better, because of such privacy! The cookies and homemade preserves were such a nice touch! The personal greeting, showing us around, the area travel info, the comfortable and adorable decorating -- all these touches were so much appreciated. This was our first airb&b experience, and I'm afraid Lucy spoiled us by setting the bar so high! I'm not sure other places will live up to this!

Centrally located between downtown Traverse City and Interlochen Arts Academy. It is a recently renovated full basement with its own private entrance across from Silver Lake. Features two bedrooms, kitchenette and a large living room. Very bright and cozy place. Has two parking places with a paved circle driveway.
  • This was my first time ever using an air BnB. My dad had a stroke and we had to make a last minute trip back home to Michigan. I was on a budget and the cheapest hotel I could find was $80 a night so I decided to give ABnB a try. I'm so glad that I did! Keith worked with us on the check in time since traffic and other issues caused us to be later than anticipated. His wife had made us banana blueberry muffins and Keith even waited up to greet us, though he didn't really have to. The private basement with a separate entrance was AMAZING as we could come and go as we needed without disturbing anyone. His circle drive and a second "parking" area next to the basketball court made getting in and out easy. For more money a hotel would have gotten us one bedroom with two beds. At Keith's we had two separate bedrooms, a living area, kitchenette, and bathroom which made the whole stay way easier and more comfortable. The location was perfect for us because it was a little outside down and centrally located to all the places we'd need to go (the hospital, food, Interlochen, and Mesick.) Do note that if you're showering while water is being used upstairs it'll effect your hot and cold. Not a big deal for us because I grew up in a similar home, but something to point out if you're not familiar with that. I would definitely stay there again. In fact, next time we go up North I'll check with Keith before I check with anyone else because it was really perfect for our family and a great price. Highly recommended!

  • They were really kind people to live with. They did many things to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Place was really professional and close to everything.

    Uriel2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We were the first guest at Keith and Peggy’s place. The accommodations were amazing. For first time Air BnB host they really thought of everything! The place was immaculate. They had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Which I have been known to forget so I love when a place has them! Also they provided a blow dryer! Tons of spare towels. They also had coffee and creamer! Which is always a nice touch. They had all of the kitchen supplies you need including a wine opener which a lot of places don’t have. The living room had an electric fire place and smart TV. They had a nice table for playing cards in the living room also. The beds were amazing. Peaceful sleep each night. Keith was very helpful for things do do and places to eat locally. Even gave a few places to fish. Peggy left us the most amazing banana blueberry muffins! The space is very large and conveniently located to downtown TC. If you do visit The Cottage for breakfast is a must do. The most amazing banana bread French toast! Mackinaw Brewing co. had great beers and amazing food also. We are already planning a time to go back.

We are located only 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City. Minutes away from Family Fare, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, etc.
We camp alot in the summer so I thought I'd list my sweet little place on Airbnb in hopes that travelers could take advantage of the great location. Traverse City is truly a vacationers dream.
I enjoy the area I live in. It's merely minutes away from everything yet it's still a quiet, private location.
  • I really enjoyed my stay here and wish I could have stayed longer than just an overnight stop.

    Jennifer2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Patty’s place is charming and comfortable. You get a lot of house for a very reasonable rate. It is removed from town, so plan a solid 20 minute drive to most things. There is a grocery around the corner. The neighborhood looks dated, but the folks are quiet and friendly. Patty’s place is the nicest house on the street.

    Steven2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed staying at Patty’s house. It has two bedrooms and two bath. Very convenient. The house is cozy and very clean. We will come back again next year! Thanks!

    Xu2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Patty’s place was everything we needed for our Sleeping Bear Dunes/Traverse City stay! About a 40 min drive to the dunes and 20 minutes to TC. Great location. The house was so cute and quaint. The check-in process was very easy and we had everything we needed! The place was very clean and we made ourselves right at home. The projector screen to watch movies on was an added bonus. Would definitely stay with Patty again if we were ever in the area!

    Sara2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great space off the beaten path. Also incredibly affordable! Be sure to bring a box fan in the summer months. The window A/C units had a hard time keeping up. We brought an almost one year old with us and had to do some “baby proofing” which is normal. Fantastic place and is so quiet at night.

    Alex2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. We had a great time - pit fire out back, and we hooked our Nintendo Switch up to the projector. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

    Thomas2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great experience at Patty's place. Even though we weren't able to stay long, we appreciated the flexible check-in process, the spotless condition of the place, and the responsiveness to messages. There was a slight miscommunication regarding our check-out, but Patty handled it with grace which is the sign of a truly hospitable host. 5 stars!

We are tucked away 17 minutes from Traverse City, 5 minutes from Interlochen and 30 minutes from Lake Michigan. Kitchen, laundry, and bathroom are fully equipped and open for guest use. Fire pit and treadmill are also available. We are active 30 something's who love being outdoors. We know some the best places to hike, bike and relax in the area. We are a great base to all the things this region has to offer!
Space is a private room with queen bed. Couch and air mattress available upon request. The private bathroom is across the hall. :)
  • Great people, lovely space, and an all-time sweet puppy dog. Recommended in particular for people who enjoy skiing and other outdoor activities, and people who appreciate a host with local knowledge. Ashley and Kevin will not steer you wrong!

    Tyler2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley's place was perfect. Adorable and comfortable setting. VERY clean and close to TC. Their little dog is super cute and friendly. Definitely will book again

  • Ashley and Kevin were great. Was in different at first about a co-op but Ashley and Kevin made it smooth and easy. No awkward feelings at all from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend . Their dog is precious and so we'll behaved. Would definitely stay again

    Nick2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time we have stayed with Ashley. The location is perfect for visiting the Traverse City area and especially Interlochen and the Arts Academy which is mere minutes away. The accommodations are stylish and spotless. My wife and I enjoyed 'catching up' with Ashley after our 1st visit and stay earlier this year.

    Kevin2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley & Kevin's place was perfect! Very clean, quiet, and nice touches like an extra blanket on the guest bed and a drawer full of commonly forgotten toiletries in the guest bathroom.

    Caitlin2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot! Ashley, Kevin (and their dog Mina) were super nice and welcoming. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

    Thomas2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend this AirBnB. Ashley and Kevin were delightful hosts who gave great suggestions about things to do and where to eat in the area. Also impressive was that Kevin built the house with many nice features and together they decorated it beautifully. A lovely place to stay, convenient to traverse city and other sights in the area.

Ellis Lake Resort is known for it's cute, cozy, authentic log cabin lodging built in 1939. We are a step back in time when life was simple. If you love being in nature then you will love us. We are a classic Northern Michigan experience.
As you walk into the Pine log cabin you are welcomed into a rustic space of quiet charm and classic log cabin features. The Pine has a combination living room/kitchen/bedroom and separate remodeled bathroom with a shower. This allows for comfortable sleeping, plenty of relaxation in the living area along with a small fully stocked kitchenette with all the essentials. The Pine offers plenty of room for 2 adults with a queen bed. This cabin also has a Franklin wood stove as a nice addition for those cooler nights or just having a romantic fire. This is one of our more economical cabins as it sits on the front part of our property, closest to the main road (If the sound of traffic is disturbing to you, we recommend that you have a look at our other cabins located further away from the road. Our Doghouse, Birch and Elm to name a few). WIFI is located near the office area. Our year round cabin offers air conditioning for the hot summer days and nights and a gas furnace for warmth to take the chill of winter away. For your outdoor enjoyment you have your own private charcoal grill, picnic table and fire pit. From your cabin door it is just a short walk to our waterfront area on Ellis Lake or to our outdoor (common use) hot tub located in the woods beneath the pines and stars (sign up board located outside office for 1 hour of private usage). Provided in cabin: *Toaster *Coffee maker and filters *Basic spices *Pots, pans, utensils, dishes *Dish soap *Linens *Towels *Hair dryer *Charcoal grill *A/C *WIFI - located at the office area Available Upon Request: Iron and Ironing board Guest access: *Onsite private parking *Access to our private water front area on Ellis Lake (known for it's fishing) Other Amenities: *Canoes *Row boats *Paddle boats *Deck at waterfront with tables, chairs, umbrellas *Playground near cabins *Tether ball *Horseshoes *Corn Hole Other things to note: We have 13 different units on the property. To see our other listings, please search for Ellis Lake Resort, Chalet - Morning Mist and Loon Calls with Greet You, and Solitude in a Log Home in a Majestic Landscape. Ellis Lake is a 50+ acre lake enjoyed by the nature lover as you can sit on the lovely deck in the early morning hours and often hear the call of the loons and see the swans, ducks and cranes when they are back for the season. During the day our guests enjoy taking a rowboat out to try their skills at fishing for pike, bass, perch or bluegill. Take a canoe or paddle boat out and paddle around the lake to look for the painted turtles that often sun themselves on the logs near the shoreline. A swim raft sits in the middle of the lake enticing you to take a dip or enjoy the warmth of the sun. In the evening, enjoy a campfire at the fire pit and take in the billions of stars that often reflect on the water as there are no lights to hinder this magnificent view.
We are: *11 miles, a 15-20 minute drive, to downtown TRAVERSE CITY *2 1/2 miles from INTERLOCHEN CENTER FOR THE ARTS *30 minute drive to the south end of SLEEPING BEAR DUNES *20 minute drive to the BUCKLEY OLD ENGINE SHOW

INTERLOCHEN, MI. — The only hostel in Northern Michigan. You get a bunk in one of our co-ed shared dorms. The bunk beds are hand-built and come with everything a budget traveler needs to crash after a day of checking out the "Most Beautiful Place in America." For private rooms, see Creekside Cottages' other listings.
More than an ordinary vacation rental, Creekside Cottages is privately-owned hostel & rental business that values friendship, local engagement, environmental stewardship, low-cost & sustainable tourism. Bellows Bunk room is a shared space. Expect to run into other travelers and year-round residents! We are located in authentic log cabin lodgings constructed during 1930s to serve the logging railroads. Think summer camp, deer camp, or Little House on the Prairie! Right on the main roadway in the Village of Interlochen, we are a 20-minute walk to the Interlochen Arts Academy and within five minutes to restaurants, public library, post office and shops. It is 20-30 minutes driving distance to downtown Traverse City or to Leelanau and Benzie Counties.
Directly across the road from amazing Bud's cafe; we're within walking distance of the Village of Interlochen's restaurants, shopping, Sunday farmer’s market, ice cream, putt putt golf, the post office, and public library, and within minutes of mountain bike and hiking trails; fishing, swimming, and navigable lakes and rivers; wineries, golfing, and scenic rides. Internationally renowned Interlochen Center for the Arts is less than one mile (1.6 km) from our doorstep. Each summer, over 2,000 kids from all over the world converge for the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp, studying music, theater, dance, creative writing, film and visual arts. Their annual Performing Arts Series is second to none. Check the schedule in advance, many concerts sell out quickly. Also nearby is the Interlochen State Park, Michigan‘s first state park, created in 1917 when the state purchased the remaining virgin pines to save the area from deforestation by the lumber companies. It is situated between Duck Lake & Green Lake, originally named Wahbekaness and Wahbekanetta by members of the Odawa people who lived here prior to the arrival of European settlers. The State Park includes a day-use area on Duck Lake that features a wide, sandy beach, designated swimming area and picnic shelter that can be rented. Surrounding the beach is a wooded picnic area and parking for 200 vehicles. A boat rental concession has rowboats on both Duck Lake and Green Lake and is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are boat launches on both Duck Lake and Green Lake. There are plenty of local trails and haunts in Interlochen, but if you want the whirlwind tour of the area, we suggest Crystal Mountain for winter sports, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore for summer excursions, downtown Traverse City for fine dining, entertainment, and microbreweries, and Old Mission or Leelanau Peninsulas for wineries, farms, small tourist towns and amazing views.

Cozy and quiet, just what we needed. Soak tub was a must have and plenty of room for two, actually more than enough. Thanks for having us!

  • Wonderful place and hospitality and don’t let Rex scare you! He’s a sweetheart and wonderful dog!

    Jeffrey2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Krystyna is extremely kind and welcoming, Rex is the goodest boy, and the place is really nice! Great location too.

    Bobby2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very spacious, Krystyna is a great host.

    Lauren2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Hostess (Krystyna) was very inviting and accommodating. She had no problem with us coming and going all day long. Rex the dog is very friendly and playful. The basement of the home was very airy and light, with direct access to the backyard if desired. Included in the basement was a small kitchenette and living room. The larger bedroom we stayed in was very nice, and the bed was very comfortable. In addition, the home is not too far away from downtown Traverse City. Overall a very lovely home and a great place to stay for our weekend getaway.

    Matthew2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent hosts, wonderful communication. I will likely book with them again next year if their property is available.

    Heather2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great, affordable place just a couple miles away from groceries and shopping. Had whole basement to ourselves but stairwell allows some sound to travel to/from upstairs. Place was very quiet and clean overall. Entrance was upstairs during winter, but there is a sliding door downstairs that could possibly be used in summer as the primary entrance. Krystyna and Rex are very friendly and accepting of other large dogs.

    Alana2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Krystyna’s place is a great stay. She was an amazing host, even making us coffee some mornings. Rex is one of the best trained dogs I’ve ever met. We will definitely be coming back!

    Raegyn2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I did some wine tasting in Traverse City so we spent the night up here at Krystyna’s place. It was very spacious and perfect for what we needed. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room to hang out and to sleep. We all enjoyed it here and would definitely recommend it to others! We loved her super friendly and adorable dog!

    Caleb2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place, very homey touches and stylish. We stayed in the winter and while the house has a heater that works great, you need to leave the bedroom doors open in order for the heat to get in, which loses some of your privacy. Other than that, good location for a house in the middle of all the popular spots of northwest michigan. The welcome board with my name on it was a nice touch to see upon arrival. Loved that we had the entire place to ourself and the lockbox made access super easy. I always sleep with ear plugs, so it was no problem, but this place is off a main road and you could hear cars from the bedrooms. House had an inviting deck and fire pit we were unable to try due to the winter weather.

  • We had a wonderful time! Seth's place was clean and they were very responsive to our questions!

    Seth2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here while visiting my son at Interlochen. He was able to get off campus and stay nearby with me, and it was perfect. I appreciate how the hosts clearly take pride in this sweet little house with all sorts of cute touches. It was perfect for us and I know we will be back.

    Elizabeth2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place truly is a home away from home. My son is a student at Interlochen, and we stayed here so he could take a little break from the dorms. It was perfect for a little dose of “homeyness” for him and a comfortable and convenient place for us to stay together. We have already booked our next stay! The hosts are very hospitable. It has all the best of airbnb!

    Elizabeth2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Seth’s place was in great central location for us to pop into Traverse City for the day, get some runs in at Crystal Mountain, and do a scenic drive along M22. The place was very inviting, and looks as good as the pics. The bed was comfy, and the living room was perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring the surrounding area. For craft beer lovers, the Hofbrau bar/restaurant is within walking distance, with a nice selection of beers and good food. We would definitely stay again!

    John2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing place. Would stay here again!!

Relax and restore yourself in this home that is nestled on an acre of forestland yet has ease of access directly off US 31. You can hear the call of Loons in the summer and see wildlife all year round. Interlochen Arts Academy is a mile down the road, Traverse City is a 15 minute drive and 30 minutes from Leelanau wineries, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Crystal Mtn. The home is decorated with woodland and cozy furnishings for an inviting cabin feel.
Wonderful private home, yet there is so much available in the neighborhood and surrounding area.
You will enjoy being a mile away from Interlochen Arts Center. Within that mile you will find Small shops, The Haufbrau restaurant, post office, beautiful new library and my favorite coffee and lunch spot, Bud's.
  • Our family really enjoyed our stay. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed to make the stay perfect. We spent our days at Crystal Mountain (30 min away), but had a great place to come back to for cooking a nice meal and relaxing. We enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels on the deck! Elizabeth was very responsive when we booked and we appreciate that. Would not hesitate to book this home again!!

    Amy2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Pack light because all your going to need are your clothes & some personal toiletries. Elizabeth is an amazing host and person. She wanted to know our trip interest so she personalized a folder with brochure information of activities in the area (Nice touch). She even provided us with eggs, bacon, pancake mix, and syrup for a nice breakfast for the next day. The home is immaculate. It’s loaded with pillows, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and spices. I can go on with the amenities. Overall, the house is a home away from home. Even though our trip was a bust ( No Snow) with Elizabeth’s personalized folder we were able to find alternative family things to do in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

  • The Maple cabin was even cuter than the pictures! We stayed warm and cozy every night. We were greeted by Becky with readily information about traverse city and things to do. The drive to downtown was a short 18-20 min. We cannot wait to book a summer trip!

    Emily2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a nice time staying in the Spruce cabin, Becky was very kind and answered any questions we had in a very timely manner. We enjoyed the private hot tub. The flowers and cookies were a very nice touch! The WiFi worked here and there but, it’s a really nice spot to get away and take a break from life. Would recommend and come back again!

  • Cute, cozy, and clean cabin. Becky, the host was very friendly and helpful!

    Kristen2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Ellis Lake resort. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and very clean and perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin itself was a bit drafty (we visited during November), however with the heat on and the ceiling fan circulating the air, it got quite toasty inside. I would definitely stay again.

    Jenna2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Rustic, for sure, but it is as pictured and CLEAN. Perfect getaway for our anniversary weekend, and the hosts went the extra mile with extra touches to note our special reason for getting away.

    Jennifer2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Becky’s place is part of a resort. It is a nice cabin with a rustic interior. It is in a string of cabins with some shared amenities like the hot tub. It was a great compromise for a couple one of whom loves camping and the other who likes big cities

  • This is a very peaceful cottage in the woods on a lake. It was cutely, thematically and appropriately decorated for an Anglers' Nook. We had breakfast delivered to our room and could have had the room cleaned daily. I was very happy with the five star hospitality. This was the best AirBNB experience I have ever had!

    Sabrina2019-09-01T00:00:00Z

  • Great place to kayak. Breakfast served in main house or in your apartment from menu with good variety. Obviously well organized and thought out top to bottom.

  • Melanie and Dave go to great lengths to ensure their guests have an outstanding stay and are properly cared for. What sets them apart is their attention to detail. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our five-year anniversary, so we spent New Years at the lodge. Without prompting, Melanie printed information on the Traverse City Cherry Drop and surprised us with homemade, celebratory, mini cheesecakes. Dave also notified us of impending winter weather, which allowed us to change plans and avoid getting stuck in the winter storm. I highly recommend Melanie and Dave’s Lake and Pine Lodge.

    Dustin2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Hosts were remarkable. Delicious breakfast. Nice hot tub. All at a very affordable price. We hope to return.

    Allen2018-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • No matter what else you're planning to do in the area, you will not have to worry about where you're sleeping. I LOVED this place, and we were already planning on seeing if we can come back on our anniversary. It was quiet, it was beautiful, and so so scenic. The hot tub was glorious and the breakfasts were so tasty. We enjoyed the movies we borrowed from the main house and those binders full of food and sights to see were A+ (Hofbrau was amazing thanks for the rec)! The lake was stunning and my only regret is I was too scared to use one of the (free!) boats hahaha. Wonderful place and wonderful people managing it. Experience in the industry certainly makes for a great experience for their guests :)

    Deonna2018-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Loved every second of our stay here. Was everything we could have wanted, host was great and the room service breakfast each morning was such a treat. Would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

  • Cute little cabin and much more to do on the property then I expected. We had a great time.

    Amanda2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • There are BBQs outside each cabin - that was really cool. The cabins were super clean - no bugs even! And the frigde was larger than expected (not a mini). It's a super convenient location and lots of little sweet touches in the cabin in terms of decor. We will for sure stay there next time we visit Interlochen!

    Linda2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved my stay at Ellis Lake, it was very clean, quiet, and relaxing!

    Jessica2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The wooden house is pretty and it is just as described. It was a little smaller than I expected but it has everything you need. I was surprised to find besides refrigerator and microwave it still provide dish clean detergent! In front of every house, there’s firepit and benchs you can gather around. Becky is well communicative and give us a lot of instructions. I was able to fix the outage with her clear instructions. The officer lady there help us make our travel plan and gave us a lot of useful advices on our trip. We really appreciate that. People here are nice! The surrounding environment was also great. There are beach and boat launching point around the resort. A kid’s playground is around. And there’s a hottub outside for you to sign on and use. However, there’s too many mosquitoes around. And those mosquitoes are quite brave. So I will pass it. Overall, we enjoy stay here. I think it’s a great place to stay!

  • Ellis Lake resort is a cozy little place that was nice to spend the weekend in. Hot tub and lake access were really nice. The only heads up I would provide is that the Oak room is attached to another cabin, although there was zero bleed through of sound from the other guest. We had a great weekend here!

  • Patricia and Lou’s place is well located for access to all that Traverse City has to offer, but apart enough to be quiet and serene. The living space is generous and comfortable- with a large but cozy seating area and a separate bedroom. As promised, the bed was very comfortable. Patricia was out of town but I had a delightful and educational conversation with Lou, who seemed to be as willing to be social, or willing to let me alone, as I wished. I hope to return in another season and I would happily stay here again.

    Gerry2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely a beautiful peaceful place to stay. Loved the colors & decor. Comfortable bed to ensure a great night of sleep & all the touches you could need or want. Amazing host & worth every penny!

  • We loved staying with Patti! She really made our trip to TC special with local tips and personal touches. We loved all of her recommendations for restaurants. The space felt private and was very clean. We would love to stay here again if we are back in TC!

  • W-O-W! We could not have had a better time at Patti and Lou’s! Their home has such a great setup and they are incredibly worthy of the title of Super Host. This was our first time staying in a home with the host present; typically we only stay at fully private spaces. Well they showed us on what we could be missing out on. Their space feels private and their hospitality is unmatched. They made us feel welcomed and non-intrusive. For breakfast, Patti had made some fresh yogurt, granola and picked fresh raspberries from their garden. The list could go on, but book with Patti and experience what the Best of Airbnb is like.

  • The beautiful serene space of the suite was perfect. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. Patti was quick with responses through the Airbnb messaging app. She provided many suggestions for things to do in and around the TC area. Everything we ended up doing were things she suggested on her list! When our plans fell through last minute (our youngest child got sick) for the original weekend we scheduled our stay, Patti was very compassionate, she promptly offered to work with us to reschedule an alternate weekend. Ultimately opening up her home to us while she was away. Her compassion, understanding and trustworthiness did not go unnoticed. I am thankful that she helped make our 20th anniversary getaway happen by being so flexible. I would recommend her place to others in a heartbeat. And I hope to return to her home for a future getaway in hopes of meeting her and her husband in person!

  • This was a perfect location for our needs and a wonderfully clean and comfortable place to rest between events. Very convenient to Interlochen Center for the Arts (which is why we booked here) and to Benzonia and Frankfort, which we love to visit. 2 adults, 1 tweenager. We loved being able to play ping-pong, too. Heather was immediately responsive to all of our questions and was a great host.

  • This house is the perfect combination of feeling secluded in the woods, and being close to everything. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We sat around the fire pit and had a fire, we played ping pong, and we had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. I would definitely stay here again!

  • I set up this air bnb for my wedding DJ and he was so grateful to stay in a local location near the wedding instead of a hotel miles and miles away. He said it was a perfect cozy cabin and was great for what he needed. Becky had great communication with myself and even said she would help me if other guests needed a place to stay. I’d love to book with her again and recommend to anyone looking into a cozy cabin near in this area!

Short walking distance to Bass Lake public and boat access. Miles of nature trails for walking/running and biking. Long Lake Twp. Short Term Rental Certificate #STR20-00030
Our guest-apartment is located separately adjacent to our home and has its own driveway and designated parking area. Situated on a quiet wooded lot with public beach and boat access on Bass Lake just a few steps away. The apartment has a queen size bed and a pullout couch and full bathroom. It comes with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge.
Quiet wooded lakeside community with with beautiful beach and lake access. Welcome, Spring! Northern Michigan’s spring thaw brings with it new life: purple crocuses and buttery yellow daffodils push up through soft black earth, gentle spring breezes blow off the now-thawed lakes, and millions of cherry trees explode with tiny white blossoms. It’s time to break out the bikes, lace up the running shoes, sip coffee at a sidewalk café, go mushroom hunting or take the first wine tour of the season. Of all of the ways to experience the natural beauty of the Traverse City area, the best just might be from the water! And thanks to an abundance of freshwater lakes, streams and rivers, you can find the perfect spot and mode of paddle-transit that's right for you -- whether in spring, summer or fall! Adventurous? Take a sea-worthy kayak out on Lake Michigan for spectacular views of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Feeling more laid back? Canoe or drift the afternoon away in a tube down a tree-shaded river. Or maybe you want to try the latest craze: stand-up paddle-boarding. Most early summer mornings you can find SUP lovers enjoying yoga out on Grand Traverse Bay. Fall is All Around! Fall is a favorite season for many locals and visitors alike. The days are warm, the nights are cool, and you won’t find a prettier place to take a color tour. Rolling hills are painted in deep reds, bright oranges and sunny yellows – a striking contrast against the sapphire blue of Grand Traverse Bay. Harvest time means wine tours, hay rides, and cider & doughnuts. Kayak down a lazy river or bike along miles of paved trails. Here’s to fall in Traverse City! Wineries in Fall - Traverse City is situated directly on the 45th parallel – halfway between the North Pole and the Equator – which is the same locale as the famous wine regions of France and Italy. The area’s two wine trails are located on the picturesque Leelanau and Old Mission peninsulas – both of which stretch out into the sapphire blue waters of Lake Michigan. Fall is an especially popular time at the vineyards and tasting rooms. The vines are heavy with fruit, ripe for the picking, and the air is heavy with fruity goodness (not to mention a fair amount of honey bees and fruit flies!) Visitors can often see the grapes being pressed into wine during their autumn tasting tour, and the spectacular fall color on the Leelanau and Old Mission peninsulas rolling hills is beyond breathtaking. Gear Up for Winter! Traverse City is transformed into a glittering white playground each winter. Strap on your downhill or Nordic skis, blaze a snowshoe trail through the snowy woods, or take an exhilarating snowmobile ride over picturesque rolling hills. Or spend the day shopping in our charming downtown or at the historic Village at Grand Traverse Commons. Then enjoy dinner and a glass of local wine by the fire. Cheers! No skis or snowshoes? Don’t worry. You can enjoy the majestic beauty of a Traverse City winter even if you don’t have any winter sports equipment. Just lace up your boots, button your coat and tug down your cap for a good long winter hike! It’s all a matter of finding the right place where the snow isn’t too deep, and that can be anything from a walk along the shore, a stroll through Traverse City’s many charming neighborhoods, or a brisk walk along the Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation (TART) Trail, which is usually kept cleared for walkers and hikers. Summer is Here! Summer’s endless days are made for making memories. Play along miles of sugar-sand beaches, visit the magnificent Sleeping Bear Dunes, sail on a Tall Ship, watch a parade, go to a drive-in movie, or eat cherry pie from the Cherry Capital of the World. Ride bikes along miles of breathtaking trails or play a round of championship golf. Then revel in a farm-to-table meal, sip local wine or beer, and watch the sun go down. It’s summer in Traverse City! Golf - Traverse City's 16 championship golf courses are in full swing when summer arrives -- and it's a beautiful sight. They include work by some of the country's leading architects -- two Arnold Palmer designs (Manitou Passage and The Legend), Jack Nicklaus’s groundbreaking layout at The Bear, the Jerry Matthews designs at Antrim Dells and A-Ga-Ming, Tom Weiskopf’s award-winning course at Cedar River and Gary Player’s challenging The Wolverine. There are other gems among these hills, too – from Hawks Eye and Lochenheath to Elmbrook and The Crown. In summer, when most of America’s better-known golf destinations are sweltering in heat and humidity, the coastal hills around Grand Traverse Bay are cool and comfortable all day long. What's more, golfers actually have more time to play during a Traverse City summer; since we're so far to the north, at the very westernmost edge of the Eastern Time Zone, midsummer days last really long here. Toward the end of June and the start of July, you'll be able to stay out on the links until well after 9 p.m.

The kitchen, dining and sleeping area are spacious and well stocked to take care of all needs. All bedding etc. (towels blankets and sheets) are washed in an unscented detergent. • I absolutely loved this place. It was spotless, quaint and felt so cozy, like I was at home. I didn't get to meet Susan because I was so busy, but she always responded promptly to my messages. It is a little out of town but it's nice to be outside of the hustle and bustle to turn in for the night. And it's only about 8-10 min to town. I will definitely be back and I highly recommended it to anyone

This amazing house was conceived with vacation travelers in mind. YES we are PET FRIENDLY. You’ll love this GEM of a place because of location we are close to numerous activities and great restaurants. Our vacation home is located on a 16 acre PRIVATE Lake, Lost Lake. RIGHT OFF US 31 just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen. 50" Smart TV with NETFLIX 26 miles to the SLEEPING BEAR DUNES 3 miles to IAC 13 miles TRAVERSE CITY 3 miles Blue Bridge Event Center!
This special property features 2 separate units that are not connected internally aka a Duplex both are dedicated to vacation travelers, entrances are on opposite sides of the house, only thing shared is the dock at the lake, here are a few things PEOPLE LOVE about The Grey Stone House. Brian" #1 Location 5 minutes to the World renowned Interlochen Arts Academy, 17 miles to Crystal Mountain! 20 minutes to TRAVERSE CITY, 26 miles to the SLEEPING BEAR DUNES National Park!!! 3 miles to the Blue Bridge Events Center, 1/2 mile to Interlochen Golf course, 30 miles to The Homestead, and is located on 16 acre Lost Lake, RIGHT OFF of US 31, just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen #2 Our house is newly remodeled, the unit is AIR CONDITIONED for those warm summer days, great effort has went into sound proofing one side from the other, this is what a recent guest had to say (The way the duplex is set up your privacy is not compromised at all. In fact I would of never known we had a neighbor unless I saw their car. We did not hear a peep. Gaea) #3 Our FIRE PIT area! After exploring our beautiful area for the day come home and relax at by a fire, it is just a real cool place to hang out overlooking the lake. #4 Down by the lake we have a deck area with screened in Gazebo for your use! #5 THE LAKE, we have a couple of boats for your use, row around the lake, check out the Beaver Dam on the other side! Oh yes there is fish in it as well. #6 The YARD, PATIO & LAKE are awesome since it allows you to enjoy the best days of summer outside and grill to your heart's delight with the GRILL found there. Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting. #1 NO PARTIES are permitted in our house or property at all times during your stay. #2 Our house is nice but its not perfect for all people, even though we have put lots of effort into this place there are always small what seem like trivial issues to most that really upset others such as, this house is a Duplex, there is no bathtub we have a stand up shower, there is no dishwasher, located RIGHT OFF of US 31, road noise when outside etc. #3 We ask all our guests to respect the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at all times during their stay. We expect our Guests to be quiet after 11:00PM. So if you intend to behave like a party animal, our place is not for you but if you intend to behave like a resident, you should love your stay. Now that this is clear, let's get to the description of the place. The Grey Stone House is located in Interlochen right off of US 31, on Lost Lake a 16 acre lake, the center point of activities in the Traverse region. We can accommodate 6 GUESTS. THE Grey Stone House (right side of unit A BLUE DOOR) This unit features a kitchen that is fully equipped with all the essentials such as POTS & PANS, COFFEE MAKER, TOASTER, BLENDER, SLOW COOKER and your basic kitchen items to cook a nice meal. This is a 2 BEDROOM unit with a queen size bed's & all the linens you will need. The living room has a QUEEN SIZE HIDE A BED COUCH for 2 extra people (for a total of 6 guests) 50” Smart TV with Netflix, also has ULTRA FAST 5G WIFI . The bathroom has a STAND UP SHOWER, HAIR DRYER, IRON & BOARD and WASHER & DRYER so that you can take care of your laundry needs. This unit has a beautiful private deck with FIRE PIT area which overlooks the lake, we also have a PATIO TABLE / CHAIRS & outside GRILL, a screened in Gazebo down by the lake, so that you can truly enjoy those long summer days.
This property is part of a 37 acre partial & is basically located in the center of it, RIGHT OFF of US 31, other than a small part of the lake, we own it including the lake shore so it is a private lake.

  • Mary was the BEST! We had everything we needed plus more. Mary had snacks, toiletries for the bathrooms, coffee and some very special treats from the cherry festival. Our grandson loved sleeping in the pack n play that she had all ready for him when we arrived. She also had special toys and books and puzzles for him to enjoy. The house was spotless and the yard and neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect and the hot tub made our stay so relaxing. Mary was always very patient and responded very quickly to all of our questions. She was very helpful in telling us fun things to see and do. Her house in very convenient to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Lake and Mackinac Island ( some of the places we visited) If you are looking for a great place to stay in beautiful Michigan, contact Mary ASAP!

  • Super friendly hosts! The property is a very convenient location from downtown and the peninsulas, we were even able to catch Uber’s to our destinations. The hot tub area in really cute and secluded. The house was clean and the amenities were phenomenal. We will definitely try to get this Air BNB again the next time we are in town!

Beautiful 2nd floor apartment. 800 sq ft with separate entrance. Recently remodeled and fully furnished. Located only 10 miles outside of gorgeous downtown Traverse City. Located in a tranquil neighborhood with subtle views of Long Lake. Charming backyard with a lovely garden area, pond and wildlife. This is a mother in law suite. You have access to the entire space and your own separate entrance. The only shared space is the laundry room.
We are close to Interlochen and downtown Traverse City
  • Everything was perfect for the price. It was upstairs but that gave you a view of the long lake. Everything works good and the heaters were great. Nice warm bathroom. Plenty space for two. Your own parking space and entrance. Nice

  • Clean and spacious apartment located on the second floor of a private home. Full kitchen and large living room, comfortable bed; wifi and tv with everything you need. Located in a very quiet area with private parking space and access to backyard; an easy 15-minute drive from Traverse City. Tom was quick and clear with communication and met me upon arrival to show me the apartment. I was in town for a local sports event and the apartment was perfect for my needs.

  • Tom was very kind, the environment was beautiful, and everything was very hospitable. We were on our honeymoon and they even left us a very kind gift! This was good deal, especially for such a beautiful place to visit. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return!

  • A great cozy space, close to traverse city. Privacy not an issue as you have your own entrance way into the house. The house was very clean and was supplied with all the necessary items. Our family really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again.

  • This is a great place to stay! It is clean, comfortable, safe and close to Traverse City.

    Sarah2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place pretty close to anywhere interesting you'd want to go. No A/C but window unit in bedroom helps. Has everything you need including a full kitchen. Great place and great host.

  • Loved spending the weekend here! The location was perfect. Not to far from Traverse City but also not right in town either so it was still quiet. A wonderful place and I'm already looking into booking again in October!

  • Decent hostel with a cozy fireplace that's perfect for reading a book. It's just down the road from Interlochen Arts Academy and about a 25 minute drive from Traverse City. As with any hostel, your experience varies with who is staying in the room with you. All in all, it was a good experience and I was impressed that Nellie came by to greet me after I checked in.

  • Nice place to spend the night while at Interlochen.

  • This was my 3rd stay (4th night) here and I will be going back. It has everything you need if you are passing through town, staying for the weekend, or just need a place to sleep. Great place for solo travelers, and great value for the area! The other guests were very respectful and quiet in the bunk room as well. Overall, great value and very accurately described.

  • This was my second stay here and I will be staying again! This is a great value for the area, if you need a bed to sleep in. The place is accurately described. A shared sleeping area, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and a living/area separate from the sleeping room. The outdoor area is a beautiful place to eat your dinner, hangout, have a fire. Also plenty of places near by to get dinner and/or ice cream. Awesome location, less than a mile to Interlochen State Park and 12-ish miles to downtown Traverse City. Again this place is very accurately described! I’ve had multiple night stays with no issues at all.

  • The place is very accurately described. Nice, affordable place to crash for the night with all the basic necessities. Location is great! Beautiful area with plenty of restaurants near by. I stayed the night while in town for work and appreciated the affordability for a place to sleep and shower.
