i spent two wonderful weeks in that tiny Stonehouse with this wonderful garden around. Sarah was very lovely, helpful and nice. The vibes in her paradies was great. i loved to be there and really appreciate it. I would definitely come back again.

We had a lovely holday at Sarahs little cottage. We got a very detailed description in advance how to find the Stone House. The white rocks at the side of the road helped us to know we where on the right road. The nature surrounding the house is beautiful. It's very quiet. The house is a little further away from the bigger cities, but if you like to drive that is absolutly no problem.

Lovely place in picturesque location. Easy drive to beaches and castles. Very enjoyable stay!

The studio was absolutely magical. You really feel like you’ve escaped into another world. There were lists of activities in the local area - my partner and I checked out the recommended cathedral winery in Pinell De Bray and it was amazing! Every location on the list was fantastic. Very helpful and very friendly. Can’t wait to come back again!

All perfect, the site a paradise disconnected from the world, ideal to enjoy yours and nature. We couldn't meet Sarah because she was gone these days, but everything was perfect and the communication with her through the Airbnb chat has been very fluid, she responded super fast. We are back for sure!

The location is wonderful, right in the middle of a natural park, and, as animal lovers, we loved the added bonus of very friendly cat and dog company on the grounds. There were some nice moderate hikes right out the door, and challenging longer ones a short drive away. Wonderful variety of landscapes between the mountains and coast. Sarah and Martin were very helpful in sharing their hiking guidebook and ideas for routes to explore. We had a little trouble getting the gas heater to light at night when temperatures dropped, but they were able to help troubleshoot from afar, and the space was small but cozy. We had a fantastic time.

We stayed at Marta's place for 4 nights. It was perfect! Everything we needed to cook, relax, laze on the hammock or admire the olive trees. Marta was so sweet and made staying there easy. I wish I could go back and stay there longer!

Marta is very kind and discreet. We were able to have a disconnection experience and be able to enjoy a unique environment. I want to return to this place again. Definitely a wonderful stay.

Marta's little house between the olive trees is perfect for everyone who needs a little peace and quiet. It's perfectly located as neither the sea nor the mountains are far away. The charming shack provides everything you need. Marta is a very nice person, she was very helpful with everything ( extra blankets etc.) and communication with her was super easy.

Peaches place was a slice of heaven! The property is beautiful. If you like being far away from the city life, this is the place for you. Even though it's off the grid, the cabin has all the amenities you could want. Good wifi, a well stocked kichen, nice bathroom, and even a radio with CD's to play. Great dog and cats too. The cabin is lovely, Adora is wonderful, the surroundings are breathtaking, everything is perfect to enjoy nature. I had only a tiny taste of it due to the health problems of my partner but I will be counting the days for summer so I can visit again :) Peach is a wonderful host!

We would definitely recommend a stay at Catherine’s place. It’s a quiet, idyllic waste-free paradise. The views are spectacular and there is even a fresh water pool should you fancy a dip. Highly recommend a trip to the mountains in Parc Natural dels Ports, and taking your time to read the Permaculture magazine selection during your morning movements!

We wanted to see the region and we stayed 3 days to enjoy the cabin and the environment of the farm. The cabin is very comfortable and full of small details that make the stay 5 stars. Mosquito repellent, bathroom equipment, coffee, tea, flashlight ... we didn't have to ask for anything! The wifi worked full. Peach is adorable, understanding and discreet. And the dog and the kitten that accompanied us the 3 days were the best! Affectionate butt. We will be back for sure! A hug Peach!

Great value and best location. I was in Amposta for a couple of nights, I was training at the Sports center there and could not find any hotel. Everything else was a driving location. I was so grateful to find Nuria’s place. Despite the fact it was on the ground floor, I felt safe and it was quiet. The high ceiling made it feel even more spacious than it was. The bed super comfortable. She has all the basics you need, including a fridge and microwave. The short walk to the center was very much appreciated. Nuria was a text away and upstairs in case you had any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

The room is perfect, clean with air conditioning, separate entrance and very comfortable. Núria is very attentive at all times and has given us good local recommendations for activities, we would definitely repeat.

Beautiful site! Eve is attentive, kind and meticulous with everything in the house. Unbeatable decoration. All eco and many recycled things. We were going for the weekend and at the end some friends cheered up one night and did not put any impediment when we discussed it the same day. Absolute tranquility, perfect with animals. It would be more than perfect if I had a small pool, because the views are beautiful. We will repeat SAFE !!!

Eve's home is the perfect place to take a break and unplug. We spent five restorative days here enjoying the fresh air, beautiful vistas, and quiet nights. The house is a perfect example of how style and comfort do not have to be sacrificed with smart, environmentally responsible architecture and design. In addition, Eve is a responsive and welcoming host who has equipped with the space with with everything you could possible need during your stay. We highly recommend the cave house!

This is an amazing space when you just want to calm from the world and relax a little while. The house is so beautiful and the surroundings are peaceful. Eve is the perfect host. The communication was super easy and Eve replied very fast. In total we had two amazing weeks in Tivenys and who knows, maybe we will return one day.

The attention of the impeccable host, all kinds of amenities that make the difference and availability of contact at all times. There was even the hot and prepared hot tub (even though it is January, the air does not run and it is very hot, totally recommended to end the day). The accommodation is as it appears in the photos: beautiful, new, full of details that denote the pampering of the guest (bottles of water, chocolates, jelly beans, etc.). The jacuzzi is a pleasure. They made a lot of recommendations and did not hesitate to come at 10 at night to solve a problem we had with the jacuzzi so that we could enjoy it before leaving (and that we were only one night). If I returned to the area, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very well organised, convenient space with nice decorative touches. It offers easy access to the AP-7 motorway, ideal for a stopover but would also be suitable for a longer stay. Everything worked well.

The place is as it appears in the photos. It is a truck decorated to the smallest detail. Nothing is missing in terms of kitchenware and basic kitchen items such as oil, salt, coffee ... In the accommodation there is a small stove that heats the room perfectly. The beds are very comfortable and spacious and the cleanliness is impeccable. It is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. It is also 5 minutes from Tortosa with the car. Highlight Anna's kindness and how well explained she has everything to make everything easier. We will be sure to try the charm of the shops with better time!

Cactus lodge is a unique place to stay in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. The truck was comfortable and well designed with a really interesting history. Our kids (2 and 4 years old) loved the novelty of the truck and enjoyed running around in the safe and open space around it, a perfect respite from city life. In the summer time it would be amazing to take full advantage of the hammock and BBQ area. The truck is in a stunning location, surrounded by orange groves and olive trees and is well located for visiting Tortosa, which is very close by, and the wider Delta del Ebre region with its beautiful scenery. Anna was a friendly host and very quick to respond to questions and requests. Would thoroughly recommend Cactus Lodge to families and couples.

Anna, was a great and helpful host, asked if we need something. She is a very experienced host and had a lot of tips what to do in Tortosa and serrounding. She also gave us a ride back to Tortosa (because she needed to go there) which was really kind from her. Thank you! The place was well equipped and in Summer it is really nice to stay there. It is quiet, has a very good energy and you can reconnect to nature, the mountains are amazing! We would absolutely recomment this place!!!

Anna's truck is amazing. Every detail was obviously planned with love. We enjoyed our stay very much and would have liked to stay longer.

Very cool experience. We can totally see coming back in the summer and doing the Bell Tent camping. The area was very well kept, organized and user friendly. The check in was easy the location was outstanding, far enough away to feel like you had some privacy out of the city but close enough to get down town if you needed to grab some Supplies or go to the “Emergency room” The Route 66 nostalgic feel of the tin bathroom, old signs and paintings was pretty cool. Any minor issue mentioned to the host was promptly addressed. Thanks for having us.

Sarah's place was perfect for us as we love being away from it all and being close to nature. We're also keen walkers and this is a great area for hiking, either close to the hacienda or in the mountains close by. Sarah was a very welcoming host and close to hand for any queries. The accommodation was pretty and very comfortable with a woodburnibg stove that was very effective on the odd chilly evening ( early March). We'd love to come back to this gorgeous rural retreat.

It is a very nice place in the valley near the mountains. Really a beautiful walking area, as well for small walks as for day trips up in the mountains. The house is small but cozy and easy to get warm in winter times. Bath and kitchen are very much ok. Sarah and Martin were great hosts and provides us with loads of wood for the estufa and all small problems with the house were solved instantly. They are very nice people who make your stay something to look back at with joy. For sure a place were we will try -sometimes- to come back.

On our first night we sat by the swimming pool and said the facilities, pool, sun beds, honesty bar were what you might expect to find at a resort (but without all the other tourists). Sarah’s place is very quite and out of the way, just what the doctor ordered. Loved the pool space, honesty box, use of BBQ and the nut trees (free at this time of year, bonus). A must tick on your box to stay lists.

Little bit of paradise in a remote quiet place to enjoy the perfect holiday nestled amongst olive trees and clean fresh air. As another review said, wouldn't want many people to discover this hidden gem! The cottage was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The outdoor area and the pool are a dream! Sarah was quick at answering any questions we had, and even though she was on holiday whilst we stayed in her cottage, two good friends of hers were always available and were kind to help us in anything we needed. Can't wait to come back!

Sarahs place is as the other reviews here state off the grid which makes it very charming and special. The place is really relaxing and beautiful with the pool area and the surrounding mountains. Do take an evening walk up the blue path up the mountain to watch the sunset. If you want to eat good Sushi go to Sukumi in Tortosa, for a great multi course meal that is so cheap its ridiculous go to Sibarites in Gandesa, good beach is Platja Perrello or Cap Roig and the beach side restaurant Bar Pepe.

When the darkness surrounds the house, you light the stove with the dry firewood that Sergi has neatly arranged and the house is heated by magic ... When the light comes in the morning and the sparrows and starlings sing and shout on the roof of the house in front you have the feeling that you are in the middle of a field away from everything ... Sergi's house is a good place to visit and discover the region, thanks to his advice you will reach any corner and eat good rice and fish with patatones near the mouth of the great Ebro.

The house is beautiful. Decorated with style and very clean. Also the location, in a small and beautiful village next to the natural park of the Ports. The area is perfect for mountaineering, gastronomy, history, excursions and tranquility. Everything is careful Dino. Sergi's generosity is a treasure in these times. The accommodation of Sergi has a very personal and pleasant style. It makes you feel at home very comfortable. Although we were not personally received, we were very well connected constantly. He gave us the instructions to enter the loft and check all the services. It also gave us a lot of information about places to visit and / or to do walking routes in the area.

The loft of Sergi is really nice, located in the small village in the beautiful valley, surrounded by the mountains. You'll find amazing views and sights, both if you go up in the mountains or down to the valley and sea. The loft itself is quite big - there are two rooms, bedroom with a sofa, table and TV, and kitchen, where you can find everything you'll need and. even more. We would highly recommend this place for short/long stay (we've been there for 10 days). Sergi, as a host, was really friendly and open, we've received lots of advices! P.S. If you like wine - ask Sergi about the nearest wineries - we had a really great experience!

The loft is perfect, everything immaculate has all the details and decorated with great taste and design, exact or better than the photos, the town is very quiet and has a huge pool for € 2 that almost never is anyone, you enjoy a spectacular bathroom next to the natural park, all the recommendations of the owner very successful, do not forget to go to the bar of Cesar in the town next door, Alfara de Carles, which by the way is very beautiful inside the natural park dels Ports, I recommend this accommodation, I will definitely return, thanks per tot Sergi fins la propera !!!!

The place is just amazing, and the hosts so very kind. My partner and I were looking for a place to disconnect from stressful daily life, and reconnect with nature, and surely found that at Paul's place. He gave us some great hiking recommendations, and I loved how the dogs would come along for a walk. The place is a great inspiration showing it is indeed possible to live off the grid and live in closer contact with nature. Totally recommendable!

Paul met me in the local village to show me the way to his place. I was on a motorbike and the journey was great fun just getting there on the country roads. The setting is spectacular, the dogs are lovely and Paul makes a great breakfast with eggs from his own hens. Highly recommend if you fancy a relaxing escape.

We had a super relaxing wkeekend at Paul's cosy cabin in the olive yard. We did great walking in PN dels Ports and slept like babies in complete quietness. Great stay, unbeatable value for money

Great little place: quiet, cozy, cute decor which feels homey. There's a small but well-stocked grocery store a block away. Aleix was very good about communicating with us. Note that there is a microwave and single-burner hotplate, but no stove, so don't plan elaborate meals. Otherwise well-equipped.

We were going to do bike routes, and it was best to leave the bikes inside the apartment, and park the car at the door! Better impossible!

Perfect place to disconnect, a step away from Tortosa but with the tranquility and beauty of a natural environment. The house is perfect, you can breathe good energy since you enter, and the room is very nice and comfortable, with a small terrace with views. Rosa Maria's home is very beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a private balcony overlooking the area. Splendid! Also, it's a perfect location when you travel between Valencia and Barcelona. Go there, you won't regret it.

Arcadi and Rosa are very interesting. Arcadi is a doctor specialized in homeopathy and Rosa knows very much about yoga and marketing. I would recommend this place to everyone who likes to talk about natural health, sports or marketing while enjoying the beautiful mountains of Roquetes.

Maria and Arcadi's place was absolutely stunning. The location was ideal for me. It was secluded but only a short trip from Tortosa. About 10 minutes by car. The villa was immaculate, very clean and we'll fitted. It was beautiful. Maria and Arcadi were very welcoming and warm friendly people. I immediately felt at home. The views were fabulous. I had my own room with adjacent bathroom. All very tasteful and finished to a high degree. I had my own balcony to enjoy the views. I was only there one night this time but I would definitely recommend their house and I will be staying again. They made my stay so enjoyable. Thanks to you both.

Yulia was a phenomenal host. She was quick to respond, had great tips for the area, and was incredibly thoughtful. The location was amazing - I would definitely recommend taking a walk to check out all of the olive groves! Would definitely recommend staying here!!

A perfect place for a countryside and eco weekend

Very nice and welcoming host, quick response. The apartment is very clean and fully furnished (bed, bathroom and kitchen). The location is great, in an olive trees' field close to the sea.

Amazing location and Yulia was very happy to tell us all about olive trees and oil production (with their own olive oil in the kitchen to taste!). Beautiful scenery and a great place to wake up to. Very cute little bedroom which had everything we needed. It was very cold though (February) but the gas heater and warm duvets kept us warm!

Housing according to the description. The casita is isolated in the middle of an olive grove, calm and relaxation assured. The house is located 20 minutes from the beaches and possible hikes along the coast which allows to discover the different beaches. The fan available to withstand the hot summer nights, and the pool to refresh during the day. We had a nice holiday. Thank you Peter for your welcome and your availability.

Peter is a warm and very professional person, the rental is located in a beautiful setting near the beach and major cities. The kids feasted at the pool and during the whole stay. A tip, book in advance because often full.

Accommodation with all the comforts to feel at home

Paul and Gil's little house is the perfect place to disconnect from the world! It is located in the middle of a landscape of olive trees far from inhabited places and a great peace is breathed. The house has everything you need for your stay, including kitchen and several corners outside for lunch or dinner. Paul and Gil are great hosts and they gave us very good recommendations to tour the Ebro Delta, in addition to giving us a taste of the products they grow on their land. We will be back for sure!

We had the most lovely time staying at Paul and Gill's. The cottage is perfectly located for trips to the Delta (flamingos!), the beach and the mountains. The setting amongst the olive trees is beautiful.

This farm is wonderful. Ideal to escape from the city to a quiet place with beautiful landscapes! The cabin is ideal, with everything that is needed to be comfortable and happy!

This is a wonderful place if you are looking to reconnect. A very tasteful balance of rustic comfort with some fun touches. It's pretty deep in, the roads are a bit rugged, so be prepared for a driving adventure. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and recommend it for anyone seeking a reconnection getaway. Totally 5*****! We came here with our dog to escape the firecrackers typical of Sant Joan festivities in Barcelona, perched up high in their olive groves between Tortosa and Ampolla. And though it's described as an "ecofinca" and in fact it is, from solar electricity to rainwater etc, it's not skimping at all: we felt SUPER-comfortable, in a house they'd built SUPER-aesthetic and full of nice touches, from everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, to cava and their own olives. We only regretted not having booked a longer stay, but we can always go back ;)

Ecofinca Lo Favaret is a little home away from home in beautifully tranquil surroundings. John met us on arrival and instantly made us feel welcome. Relaxing in the garden swing chair amongst the olive trees was wonderful. The home-grown olives and olive oil were a treat. Thank you both.

This place is ideal for rest and tranquility but there are also plenty of opportunities for hiking around. The access is not obvious but with the explanations of John and Paco and partly using GPS (not 100% reliable) we get there. John warmly welcomed us and his recommendations for hikes and tours were very helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Lyn's place. They are extremely welcoming hosts and the place is beautifully kept. I will definitely try to go back. Highly recommended.

I and my family lived in Ian and Lyn's "Casita" for a wonderful week. Unfortunately we could not award more than 5 stars. On the first day we arrived as a guest and in the end we said goodbye as friends. In the house there is a brilliant cleaning. The fishing spot is well maintained even if it is a continuous battle with the river that erodes the shore. There are a few places to visit nearby, and Lyn and Ian provide all the details about them. We are already thinking of returning and I highly recommend this place. Thank you Lyn and Ian

Spacious and very clean house. The bathrooms are modern. Very good quality bedding. Private parking is a plus. The place is quite quiet, if you consider that the house is located in town. The internet connection was quite unstable, we had to turn the router on and off several times in a row. Maria José responded quickly when we contacted her about this. Otherwise when it worked it was fast enough. We feel that Maria José is committed to providing pleasant accommodation. I recommend without hesitation.

María José is a super attentive host. At all times he answered the questions and made everything very easy. The house is in a very quiet area, perfect to disconnect. It is equipped with everything you need and is very spacious. It has a folder with a lot of recommendations of all kinds which, some, we had already thought about but others were a pleasant surprise to discover and make. Recommended!

Emma's cabin is just a perfect spot to get away from the rest of the world. Cozy space located deep into the country side (be careful if your car is very low as the road is quite bumpy), surrounded by nature but very convenient at the same time. You can prepare some meals and the bed is super comfy! Overall is a great place to relax and enjoy some time with nature. Emma is very kind and flexible. We had some issues on arrival because of our car and our dog and she answered perfectly, helping in any possible way to make our staying as good as possible. And we did enjoy it a lot, she is definitely a super host. Her dogs are always around, they are super nice too, Coco in particular! I definitely recommend it, specially if you have kids and love animals ^^

Emma's little house is charming, it is the ideal place to disconnect, rest and be in touch with nature. In addition, you find coffee, milk and other details that are ideal if you do not want to go down to town or arrive on a Sunday.

If you are looking for peace, tranquility and disconnect from the mundane noise in a sustainable and ecofriendly cabin, cozy and comfortable surrounded by olive trees and mountains, but a step away from the Ebro Delta, this is the place! The road from Perelló is stony and somewhat difficult (for low vehicles, no problem if you go by van or a high car) but that is ideal to feel even more in an oasis of privileged disconnection and Emma is very attentive to solve any need you may to have. In addition, around there are beautiful olive and mountain farms with wide views to walk without having to take the car. If you have a dog, you will love the site!

Emma's cottage is as you can see in the pictures, it is very cozy and surrounded by nature. Keep in mind that you are in a secluded place that you have to reach through a mountain path that low tourism would have difficulty. Everything else is very good, highly recommended to be disconnected and calm in the middle of olive trees.

The cottage is very well equipped, it is 50m away from the house where Emma lives. Your dogs tend to be there. It is in the middle of a field of olive trees. The access road is complicated but accessible for tourism. Many facilities on the part of Emma. I recommend bringing food and drink you need to avoid having to make many trips!

Emma's estate is fantastic if you want to disconnect from the bustle of the city. It is in a wonderful environment, surrounded by olive trees and pine trees. She has been watching all the time if we were missing or needed anything. Their dogs are wonderful and they have taken divinely with our dogs. We will be back for sure.

Silvia's apartment is better than any photo can show. Full of small details that make the place very cozy. The view from the terrace, open a blanket and smell clean and perfumed, a delicious coffee to accompany breakfast ... And the biggest detail was Silvia's kindness and gentleness at all times. A real gem in an idyllic location up in the hills, surrounded by olive and fig trees. Jorge has renovated, designed and decorated the house himself in a truly unique style. Every wall, every corner catches your eye with quirky little touches... you could stay there for a month and still discover things you hadn't noticed before! The house is very isolated so ideal for those in need of R&R, nature and privacy... but 10-15 minutes' away by car from Tortosa, the nearest town, which has all the amenities (shops, restaurants etc) you could want. Plenty to discover in the area, we barely scratched the surface! In short, a memorable holiday, and Jorge was a most welcoming and attentive host. We didn't want to leave. :-)

We stayed 4 days in in July in Jorges mountain house with 2 children 10 and 13 years old and we loved it. The house is fantastic and has a artistic hippie feeling. The view and the sunset over Tortosa and the mountains is perfect for instagram :-) If you like tourist resorts and straight surfaces this is not a place for you! This is a quiet retreat and if you like simple, basic life you will love this place. The place is clean but rustic. If you are the type that clean your house 3 times a week and are afraid of ants this might not be the place for you. Take a look at the pictures they describe the house very well. All beds have mosquito nets, but we didn't find many mosquitos compared to the coast. The mornings and nights did have a nice cool breeze here in July, so we slept a lot better than in the coast house we rented before we got to this place. Right outside the house you'll find a lot of different patio furniture which are all a bit outdated, so we preferred sitting in some of the homemade palled beds which are placed around the parcel. Bring back pacs instead of trolleys, the last 300 walking meters are really rocky road...the nearby town Tortosa is a really nice city with a tranquil feeling and the Natural Ports and the coast towns nearby are nice. If you like, what you just read you will love this place. Recommended!

This is a unique place. Lots of quirky, artistic touches in a beautiful location with clean air, amazing views and a feeling of being on top of the world. Homely, tranquil and comfortable, my partner and 2 children stayed here and were all incredibly happy with it. Chilled, Boho and Jorge was very welcoming and discreet, advising us on local beauty spots, tolerating my bad sense of direction to aid our arrival and clearly talking through all the aspects of the house. This apartment is right in the heart of a small but vibrant hillside village. Josep is known by everybody in the village and can often be found with his kids and the other parents in the square outside Bar de Baix. We found the apartment very clean and comfortable, and would also suit a family of 5, athough we were only a couple. Josep had suggestions for local places of interest, which added to the itinerary we had already planned. We will definitely be back and will hope to book this apartment again because it is fantastic value for money.
