  • Me & my Family went to town for a funeral. Didn’t really spent much time in the home, we just needed it to sleep. But we would of loved to enjoy the house. The beds were super comfortable so that was a plus. Me and my family go often to California so we will definitely be renting this home again.

  • This lovely home in Reedley feels like a home away from home. It's clean, modern, and has plenty of space for my family to enjoy spending time together. We appreciate having the sitting room and front bedroom in addition to the living room and hallway in the back. The master suite is spacious with a large closet and jetted tub. We love picking oranges from the tree in the backyard! Thanks for the excellent communication as well!

California's Central Valley at its finest! Enjoy Spring fruit trees & foothill wildflowers, or the abundance of a fresh Summer harvest. Easy drive to 3 National Parks (Kings Canyon National Park 45 miles, Sequoia National Park 50 miles, and 75 minutes to closest Yosemite National Park entrance). Beautiful 106 year old 3200 sq ft classic ranch home with large yards sleeps 6 or more/pets allowed. Having hiked extensively in the Sierras, we can assist with coordinating hiking/horseback trips.
This is a fully renovated 106 year old 2-story 3200 sq foot classic ranch home in rural S/E Fresno County (north of Dinuba and east of Reedley) in a rural agricultural setting amid a multitude of crops including citrus and stone fruit trees. Home is set back from road with long paved driveway providing ample space to park a number of vehicles. There are two complete upstairs bedrooms with full-sized beds, each sleeping two, plus a comfortable queen sofa-bed in the downstairs den. Both bedrooms have full closets and ample drawer space for extended stays. Two full baths with showers are located down/upstairs. All bath and bedroom linens are washed only with biodegradable, hypoallergenic and unscented detergent. There is a large, fully equipped, kitchen and table for 6, plus formal dining room that comfortably seats another 12. Downstairs also includes a formal living room and separate den with large-screen TV and Blu-Ray+DVD players (unlocked for all world regions) plus Amazon Fire and Roku sticks, including Amazon Prime access plus Netflix (using your Netflix account). Wireless Internet is included. See Guest Access information for pets. Smoking inside is prohibited. March 2020 note: we are currently remodeling the den to add a fireplace and top-tier Home Theater with 9-speaker 7.1 surround sound incorporating Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, plus an 82" 4K HDTV. With remodeling construction, we anticipate a mid-year 2020 completion. Guests will have access to entire property EXCEPT garage, master suite and office which are locked off for exclusive use by owner along with adjacent ag/farm buildings. Access includes full front/rear yards (rear yard is fenced and includes a large, partially covered, redwood deck part of which is currently being renovated). Propane and/or Traeger wood-pellet grills available by advance agreement with owner. Owner travels extensively with little advanced notice, so may or may not be on the property during time of reservation. This is California's rural Central San Joaquin Valley at its finest! Enjoy millions of Spring blossoms when fruit trees - and foothill wildflowers - are in bloom. Fresno County's famed Blossom Trail (bicycle and vehicle tour) is just minutes away. Only a short drive further are three of the nation's most popular National Parks, Kings Canyon/Sequoia and Yosemite, or the many other exploring and hiking opportunities of the Central Sierra Nevada mountains, including access to the famed John Muir Trail. Use this rental as a hub for a wonderful Central California experience!
Spring and Summer offer a plethora of fresh citrus, stone fruit and vegetables. Autumn/Winter seasons generally restrict fresh fruit availability to grapes and oranges that are often available at roadside stands. There are several commercial stands offering late Spring/Summer/Fall seasonal fruit that has been in cold storage, but still better prices and quality than in most local stores. This is an older agricultural neighborhood that is several miles from the closest towns, with a number of local families having lived here for over a century. Nearby towns offer a wide variety of shopping including (in Dinuba to the south) several "big box" stores (Walmart, etc), plus the historical and well preserved Reedley downtown area to the west and historic Kingsburg with its Danish heritage and cuisine 12 miles to the southwest. There are a wide variety of both American and ethnic eating establishments to choose from when dining out, from Armenian to Danish/Swedish to the best tasting "hole-in-the-wall" & "taco coach" plus full sit-down Mexican choices, to high-end steakhouses.

This two bedroom mobile home is located on our family farm just behind the farm house. It is newly remodeled and perfect for a family or group. Your stay includes a bowl of fresh organic fruit (in season). Freshly ground coffee is also provided. Pets require an additional $15 security deposit per night.
This space is perfect for those wanting to visit a working organic farm. You may get a farm tour by farmer Mike and fresh fruit (in season). There is a double futon couch in the living room in addition to the queen-sized bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other bedroom. A full kitchen and washer and dryer are available as well. There is free Wi-Fi. All common kitchen utensils are provided along with pots and pans.
Our neighbors are hummingbirds, owls, dove and hawks. Sometimes the coyotes decide to party at night. Occasionally our human neighbors decide to fire their guns at night. Hunting season starts in September and there is occasional gunfire in the mornings, too. Sound travels in the country, so rarely party music can be heard at night. We have not had any guests complain so far.
  • An absolutely great place to stay if you are visiting the National parks. Both entrances to Kings Canyon and Sequoia are within about an hour of the location. The cottage itself is located on a beautiful organic farm, which is quiet, clean and very pretty. The cottage itself is very clean, welcoming and comfortable. My GF and I came up from San Diego and got in very late, but we were still accommodated well and were greeted with fresh, organic OJ in the morning. I will definitely return with my kids this summer.

  • Mike and Nori’s place was very roomy. There were 4 adults and we had plenty of room. Very quiet. Everything was well-stocked. Mike and Nori were super friendly and great hosts.

    Maria2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • You can go there with your eyes closed. Mike and Nori are very friendly and discreet and welcome you to their charming farm (fruit production). The accommodation is comfortable, immaculately clean, and very well equipped. We enjoyed the fresh fruit offered upon arrival as well as the fresh fruit juice each morning. The accommodation is located not far from the city Dinuba where are shops, restaurants, etc. If you are looking for a cozy nest in the quiet of the countryside, then do not hesitate!

    Stephanie2019-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Way better than we expected. We had 5 kids with us and they all loved staying on Mike and Nori’s farm. The fruit picking was great and breathing that country air everyday was nice. The fresh squeeze orange juice every morning was definitely a highlight. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    Jeannie2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • The place is really nice and clean. So relaxing and quiet. Very peaceful. An hour or so from Kings Canyon and Sequoia. The fresh fruits and juice was definitely a bonus. I would recommend this to anyone and will stay again in the future.

Well-appointed studio with 180 degree view of orchards and mountains in the middle of a working mandarin farm. Mandarins are seasonal in the spring. The cottage is walking distance to Wahtoke Creek and the Kings River. Walk to Starbucks thru the country avenues and along the river. Beautiful private park picnic area on the oak studded Wahtoke Creek. Unit is surrounded by mandarin orchard and French wine vines. Walking and jogging trails along the Kings River. Central Heat and Air Conditioning.
Our land has unique topography which lends itself to walking and jogging all year round. We enjoy summer breezes possibly due to our proximity to the river and being on a bluff. Unlike many farms, we are located on a creek and so there are many beautiful enclaves for picnics or just reading a book under a beautiful Valley Oak. Walk to the river during the summer and view livestock along the way by the college or admire a field of onions or pomegranates or peach’s or just a beautiful meadow.
We moved to the country right before the birth of our fourth son. Our daughter, the oldest, was five and started kindergarten that same year. We have enjoyed many many meals with family and friends starting from the first month we moved to the country. We love the outdoors and never tire of meals under the pergola or in the park or on a covered porch shelter from the rain. We have played croquet, volley ball, spike ball, ultimate frisbee etc etc etc!!! Everyone had chores on the farm. We learned to work our land and the difficulties associated with farming life. As with all things there is the silver lining that comes with the learning curve and that has been the joy of harvest time. We are always grateful!!! We love taking walks and did it as often as possible especially when the kids were little. The jogging stroller was finally retired after my oldest son, Soren, made it into a cart for hauling things that young boys find fascinating!!! Located along the famous Blossom Trail in the “Fruit Basket of The World”, enjoy the freshest fruits you have ever tasted. I hope you will enjoy your time visiting our favorite place in the world!!
  • Beautiful place, so clean and peaceful.

    Odilie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful space that is impeccably clean. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The property is gorgeous! Everything was so comfortable, the bed especially. We stayed two nights. We went wine tasting in Fresno before our arrival and bought some bottles to bring with us to our stay. It was great having a glass of wine while watching the sunset on the balcony & playing chess in seating area. The second day we went up to the sequoias and the trip from our location was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay very much!

    Lin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Five minutes from town an restaurants. Beautiful orchards surround the place.

    Peter2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Suzanne’s place . The place was super cute and cozy . The kids enjoyed walking the grounds and walking out to mandarins every day. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit .

    Maria2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • It feels like a sophisticated treehouse stay. Everything you could need. The best part is the patio balcony. You wouldn't expect to feel like your on a forest in the middle of farm land but the space is serene with beautiful views that only add to the sense of isolation and peace. Great for a relaxing get away.

    David2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Suzannes place was better than the pictures and her communication was timely

  • Second time staying at this darling property. First time was the Sunrise Room, this time was the Sunset Room. So incredibly happy to have found this gem! The rooms are well equipped and darling. The property is gorgeous. We loved the tours, tips, and hospitality of our hosts. It was a wonderful home base for us as we visited all the cute towns around the area. We will definitely be back!

  • My family and I stayed at the Jackson Family Farm and had an amazing time there. Robert and Sarah were very nice and accomodating. Their place was beautiful, very cozy, charming, very clean and on top of it, they stocked it with organic goodies! At the end of our stay, we were given a tour of the farm by Rober Jackson and he explained a lot of what they do to grow organic fruit. We had a very relaxing and awesome experience and are definitely coming back with more family and friends since they have multiple units in the farm. This was a wonderful Valentine's getaway!!! Thank you Jackson family!!!

  • Great hosts in charming place

    Milt2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Staying on the farm was great! My daughter loved the dog and cats. One cat stayed very close to her. The place is about an hour from either North or South entrances to Kings Canyon and Sequoia Parks. Thanks Sarah and Rob for sharing this great place!

    Kurt2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time at Sarah & Roberts Farm stay, and we hope to return soon! My husband and I feel so refreshed and relaxed after being in the country for a few days, and our kids had so much fun petting the cats and dog, and playing by the river. It’s so nice to escape the city and spend time in the country. ❤️

    Charlene2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing place to stay. You wont want to leave. All the amenities you need and a clean comfortable place to sleep. The worst part about this place was knowing we had made so many plans so we couldn't just stay on the river and relax. Book an extra day if you can and make no plans that day so you can just enjoy this beautiful home!

    Felicia2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very welcoming place, right away we got a game of tennis going! We went as a little family vacation and we all enjoyed and were blow away by the Jackson family farm. We would love to go back!

  • This place is very comfy, clean, and relaxing! Water in shower and sink took some time to heat up but it was all worth it. I’d book this place again when I’m in town for work!

    Ricky2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Hotel Burgess is quaint and has lots of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

    Katherine2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great and the building carries a lot of history, which was told to us at the front desk in a friendly manner. The room was spacious, stylish and clean and we overall had a great night. The only issue we had was that it was quite noisy at night - the walls in this old building are thin and it shows. We still had a great time and would definitely come back.

    Vanessa2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and rustic diamond in the rough. There is nothing extravagant or high tech fancy about this hotel BUT their staff is what sells the place and will guarantee we will come back! The staff was so thoughtful, anything we needed we needed to just ask and they were accommodating. Extra pillows, no problem. Iron and iron board, no problem! They even brought us a plate of sweet bread on our first night! The customer service here was outstanding! It's also in a nice little town, little to no foot or auto traffic and close distance to restaurants, ect. We were traveling to Fresno and back which was around 30 min away. This hotel, even though small and in the outskirts of main living was just perfect to rest our heads! 😊

Need a getaway or place to stay for your family or group while you visit the nearby Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks? This affordable room is just what you're looking for. It is a private room in our home that offers a taste of farm life. It's secluded and quiet, yet town with all the conveniences is only 5 miles away. During the summer there is organic fruit for picking just steps from your private entrance. Come relax and see what the Central San Joaquin Valley has to offer.
This space has a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator for your convenience. Local organic coffee and a selection of tea bags are provided. There is a small table/desk and chairs as well.
You will be surrounded by fruit and nut orchards. Our neighbors do not farm organically which offers an opportunity to learn about the differences in farming practices. Our closest neighbors are the song birds and coyotes which sometimes make a racket, particularly in the Spring. Our other neighbors have occasional parties on holidays.
  • Mike and Nori are the most amazing hosts. My friend and I weren’t able to make it in on the time we wanted to, but communication about check in and check in was a breeze. The room was enormous and had great amenities including fresh fruit! Lots of bed options and the room temperature was easy to manage. Mike even left us fresh squeezed orange juice before we had to head out at 6:15am on Sunday which made our day. I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb and I hope to be back soon!

  • Mike and Nori's is a very spacious and comfortable "bunkhouse" very clean and nice with natural wood, pretty tile in the bathroom and lovely linens. There is a good size fridge, microwave and amenities such as coffee and tea, cups and paper dishes. Nori brought us fresh pomegranates that were delicious there were also lemons/oranges etc right outside the door. It was peaceful and pretty to wander in the gorgeous garden. Both Nori and Mike were very helpful and informative about the area, We were there for a wedding but went to Sequoia National park about 1.5 hours drive...Dinuba/Kingsburg have great Scandinavian food and shops

  • Lovely place and great hosts!

    Hanna-Sofia2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • My family of 6 stayed here and it was perfect! It's just as the pictures show, a very cute and cozy room. I would definitely stay here again! The room was very clean, open, and had all the amenities we needed. It had a little coffee station, mini fridge, microwave, and table to eat on. No TV, but I didn't mind it because that made us enjoy each others company that much more. The front lawn was beautiful! My 3 kids loved running on the grass while my husband and I watched from the porch. Before we left, we were able to pick some fruit from their farm to take home with us. There are several places around the farm that are great for taking pictures. This stay was better than I expected! Mike and Nori were so sweet to leave us a fruit basket in our room when we arrived. (Their white peach tastes like heaven!) And the next morning we woke up to a pitcher of fresh squeezed orange juice! Very nice and loving hosts. It was definitely a trip we will always remember. Thank you Mike and Nori for everything!

  • Amazing hosts, neat location on a farm, and super clean and friendly atmosphere. As a family of 5 we stayed, had plenty of space and the experience couldn’t have been better. Mike and Nori are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make it top notch. Make sure to save some time to pick fruit. Our girls had it all gone after one day!!!

    Todd2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We found a peaceful place at Mike and Nori’s peach farm where we could relax and enjoy the amazing organic fruit and a walk around the grounds. The farm is situated at a practical distance to Kings Canyon and as we were coming from Santa Barbara, it was a perfect stop on our way to the national parks. The fotos are very accurate of the Bunkhouse Room but they do not show how idyllic the farm really is. Mike and Nori were very helpful with advice about local dinner and breakfast places and everything concerning arrival and departure was uncomplicated. We would be happy to stop by another time!

    Eva2019-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Mike and Nori are great hosts. They greeted us upon arrival with friendly smiles and welcomed us with a small bag of fresh picked fruit from their farm. The farm is beautiful, the perfect place to rest from a long trip. The room was sparkling clean and it had everything we needed. We recommend staying here if you plan to visit any of the national parks. We also recommend making time to pick fresh fruit from their farm. Our kids enjoyed it!

    Oscar2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Mike and Nori have a beautiful property tucked in the middle of the fruit trees. The bunk room looks out to large lawn and the back of the house has a well kept garden, lawn, gazebo, and fruit picking station. Our young kids enjoyed the novelty of the bunk beds and Mike gave us a full tour of the property in the morning. We went home with bags of fresh picked peaches. I’d be happy to stay there again

Sophie's Farmstay is an apartment at Jackson Family Organic Farmstay with a queen bed in a separate bedroom, a living room, a kitchenette with a full fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and breakfast items the first day. Check out SUNRISE and SUNSET Farmstays also. Enjoy a tour of our organic farm.
We are a place that genuinely values people and we look forward to having you with us as you relax and experience how an organic farm works.
Experience some of California's best country living. Surrounded by orchards on the banks of the King's River, we know you will enjoy the beauty and peace of our land, whether it is listening to the song of the birds or watching the vibrant colors of the sunset fade over the beautiful countryside.
  • This farm-stay was tucked away by a river. Sophie and Rob welcomes into their home as family. There were so many activities like basketball, tennis swimming in their pool or in the river. We were close to Kings Canyon National Park for a day trip to the majestic Sequoia Trees. There were amenities that welcomed us as thinks for continental breakfast and coffee beans with a grinderfor a fresh cup of freshly brewed bean coffee! The place was decorated beautifully! We were 11 people who rented three units. The best!

  • This place was awesome! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend in September 2019 and it was so peaceful. They live on acres and acres of land with bulls, fruits, and other critters. They have a cute dog that roams around. It was really clean and nice and really nice to get out of LA and hang on the farm. Highly recommend!

    Lily2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Robert and Sarah are very friendly and nice, also responsive and flexible for check in and check out times. They have 3 rooms and we were in the one next to the river. The place is really clean, obviously in a farm you get few flies or so, but after the first day they would be mostly gone. They have everything you need for a kitchenette, water boiler, coffee maker, microwave, utensils. You have your own separate place. I liked ours that the bedroom was upstairs under a small gable roof, next to a small terrace. The bathroom is rather large with a nice large tub. They also let you go through the farm and explore, or give you a tour if you want. We also enjoyed their pool which was really nice on a sunny day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there, next time we want to visit Sequoia we would stay here and for more days!

  • A great spot to stay that is very clean! The farm is beautiful and the animals were very friendly.

    Veronica2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was fantastic! Our only regret is not staying longer. The property is stunning and the room is adorable; coupled with the peacefulness of the area, it made for a wonderful visit. Sarah and Robert were great hosts and we look forward to returning.

  • Wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy a beautiful place !!!!!

    Robin2018-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah and Rob's property is amazing! It was so peaceful and relaxing - we really enjoyed our stay. Sophie's room was clean, had great breakfast options (mmm still thinking about that cinnamon bread), and just perfect for some R&R . I've stayed here before with a friend and I came back with my boyfriend this past weekend, he immediately saw why and loved it too! Next time, we are coming back with tree hammocks :)

    Joyce2018-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Next time I come back to Northern California to hit up Yosemite National Park I’m checking with this place first! Quiet place for relaxation away from the world plus a lot of great touches!

Our barn is an amazing space. Built in the early 1910's and completely renovated with all the modern conveniences we love. Central a/c and heat, ceiling fans, flat screen tv's, wi fi, fully equipped kitchen. But the best part is all our antiques, collectibles and historic items on the walls. it is an incredible place that will be a treat for you to stay in. Due to the age and delicate nature of those items we have decided to only offer this space to adults (18), sorry no children or pets.
  • Great hosts that were very welcoming! Great response time and extremely helpful with any questions we had. Great get away for the weekend!

  • Craig's barn was perfect for my stay. It was warm and cozy. If I'm in the area again I would love to return for a long weekend.

    Josh2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Who would think a barn decorated with pointy tools could be so cozy and comfortable? Craig is a friendly and responsive host who keeps his places clean and generously equipped. A unique experience!

    Diane2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable and quiet—nicer than in the pictures. The beds are great. The kitchen was well equipped, perfectly suited for cooking a couple meals while we were on the road. I wasn’t aware of the private backyard when we rented; it really adds to the comfort of the place. Craig puts a lot of thought into providing comfortable amenities.

    Marlin2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent barn with beautiful garden spaces all around. Fanciest barn I've stayed in!

    Michael2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Craig has a cool rustic barn adorned with implements of cooking, gardening, old toys, while it is a little musty it is clean and bathroom and shower are great with a full kitchen with great fridge and all the cooking implements you will need to cook whatever you need. nestled in the groves of nectarines, peaches, apricots, it is well within driving distance of the awesome sequoia groves .

  • Our stay at the Big Brown Barn was outstanding. The host was very accommodating and communication was great. The barn was beautiful and cozy! So good we decided to stay and extra night! The scenery outside was great and every room inside was extremely clean and beautifully decorated! Eating a home cooked meal and early morning coffee in the side yard made the stay extra comfy and we have every intention of coming back! Great stay and a great host.

  • Rosie is just the most thoughtful host I have ever come across. Her home was spacious and beautiful, very clean, and had anything and everything we could possibly need. Rosie made sure we were taken care of, and even left us wine and food to welcome us. She thinks of everything! She even left toothpaste and tooth brushes, just in case we had forgotten them. We had a great stay, and would love to return for future trips to Kingsburg!

  • This was a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. The host was very hospitable. The location was a nice launching point for day trips to Yosemite and Sequoia national parks. We took a day trip also to the coastal Highway 1, ending up in Monterey. There is also a nice shopping area in the old town district in nearby Clovis.

  • Rosie’s place was clean and she’s s thoughtful host. Her beautiful home was in a quiet neighborhood. Our coaches and dads enjoyed that stay very much. She accommodated everyone in the house, including a coffee, cookies, snacks...etc. would definitely stay at her place again.

  • Craig's place is great! We are a family of four and the place has everything we need to stay comfortably when we are visiting family in the next town over. It's always clean and well-stocked. Two things I might suggest adding that would help out families with small kids: a small step-stool and and an anti-slip mat in the tub :)

Casa Peralta is a mid century mini oasis located on a family citrus farm at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Enjoy fruit from the citrus orchard outside your window from October to April. Take a swim in the pool or put your boots on and take an easy day trip for adventure in one of three nearby national parks - Kings Canyon, Sequoia and Yosemite. We are also less than 2 hours from great skiing at China Peak. We look forward to sharing our little retro time capsule with you!
Casa Peralta was built in 1962 and was a game room and poolhouse or many years. Just about everything in this small mid-century gem is original and of the era. You will definitely feel like you have traveled back in time when you step through the door. New windows were recently added for energy conservation.
Three national parks only a short drive away! Sequoia and Kings Canyon are right in our backyard, and the world famous General Grant is 45 min from our door. Yosemite is approximately 1.5 hour drive to park entrance and another hour drive to the valley floor. Shaver lake is approximately one hour 15 minutes and another half hour more to China Peak for skiing in world class snow. The Kings river and Reedley beach are a short 20 min drive. There are a few restaurants in Orange Cove, but options are limited. Fine dining can be found within a 20 minute drive - yes, we are out in the country! Covered parking is available.
  • My partner and I were planning a last minute trip to Fresno, and what was supposed to be a day trip ended up being a two day stay. Lindsay and Dev at Casa Peralta were immediately communicative, and worked with us on our last minute late arrival. The best part was, we were able to bring our dog and not only stay a close way from Fresno, but also from AMAZING hiking and parks close by. We loved the accommodations so much we not only spent more time at Casa Peralta than visiting friends in Fresno, but also sent pictures of the guesthouse to friends and family just to show off :D Some of my favorite parts of our stay was having quiet place with privacy, but also our hosts close by incase we had any questions or concerns, the decor...OMG IT WAS AMAZING, the orange groves and waking through them with our pup, and the absolute peace and quiet of the country! The stars at night and sounds of the owls and frogs were such a welcome departure from city living, and the smell of citrus in the morning air can not be topped! 100% would stay here again, and recommend to all our friends <3 would LOVE to come back at a different time of year to use the pool!!

    Jessica2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Casa Peralta is a hidden gem. Here are a few reasons why I believe it offers a unique and rewarding airbnb experience: 1) Lindsay's and Devin's warm and genuine hospitality; 2) the cool factor: authentic retro pool house/lounge vibe (eat your heart out, Palm Springs!); 3) it is reasonably priced, spacious, quiet, and private despite being near the main house; 4) orange groves as far as the eye can see (meandering through the bright, sunny orange trees on moss carpeted paths was my daily meditation during my stay); 5) fresh citrus for you to pick and enjoy right out your front door!; 5) proximity to King Canyon NP and Sequoia NP, NF and NM; and 6) truly pet friendly (no additional pet fees or restrictions, and Lindsay even made a dog bed out of a vintage TV set for guests' dogs to use!). Lindsay and Devin immediately put me at ease about staying at their property when they greeted me upon my arrival. And they continued to demonstrate their great hospitality during my stay by sharing their knowledge of the local area, answering questions about hiking trails and restaurants, giving good food and drink recommendations, and inviting me to share the view of the stunning sunset from their back lawn just above the pool house. I really enjoyed my stay (as did my pup), and happily recommend Casa Peralta to anyone seeking an authentic, laid-back, and relaxing airbnb experience.

    Amy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend Robin and I are very very grateful for the stay we had at Lindsay's place! We were travelling from SF To LA and decided to spend two nights in Orange Cove. Lindsay and her family opened up their home to us and gave us an experience to remember. The poolhouse is super cool, very clean and comfortable!!!! Out of the 6 airbnbs we stayed in during our travels, we enjoyed this one the most by far. The interior style and location ( right next to all the orange and lemon trees and pool) made us feel truly on holiday. We were able to pick fresh fruit of the trees and make delicious sangria. On our last day we were given a tour of the farm and a whooooole bag of fruit to take with us on our journey. Staying here was not just a place to sleep but a real experience. Thank you so much for having us and we cannot wait to visit once more in the summertime! Big kisses to the whole family xxx

  • Warm hospitality and great farm stay. Excellent place for visiting Sequoia National Park.

    Amrut2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay and spend a few nights if you want to explore Kings Canyon and Sequoia. I was visiting SF from LA and instead of just taking the I-5 back I came here and spent a few nights taking it slow and looking at trees and eating fruit. I arrived in the afternoon and settled in but you could also explore the national parks during the day and check in at night. They have an additional twin air mattress and folding bed available if you prefer sleeping separately but it does get a little cozy in the room if you have both extras, but enough to navigate around the room. If you come for the fruit in the Summer make sure you come a little earlier to catch the peaches. When we came in late July, the peach season was already winding down and the timing varies year by year and Nectarines and Plums also run later into the summer. In the summer its very hot during the day on the farm so I'd recommend doing the picking and farm tour with them earlier on in the morning after eating breakfast and before heading to hike in the tree covered shade at Sequoia. The living situation itself was very modern and clean and nothing like living in an old un-updated farm which I feared. They even ask you take your shoes off which makes the place more homey. The AC has no issues keeping the room cool and the bathroom is very nice. The second night we had a little trouble with the wifi but overall it was fine and with T-mobile I got a couple hundred kb/s. when the wifi wasn't working. The breakfast was great as well and was very convenient. I regret not asking to take some muffins with us to the park to snack on before hiking.

  • This is a great place to stay. Staying in the country allowed us to fully appreciate what happens in the valley. The hosts are awesome and so helpful. It’s a great location to see the mountain parks and close to the freeways to get to the cities. We were thankful for choosing this BnB. 100% satisfied!

  • We had a fabulous time at Mike and Nori's. Their place is fantastic - whether you are looking for an overnight stay or to spend several relaxing days on an organic farm. The room is spacious and the bed is more than comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. The property is large and peaceful, surrounded by several acres of fruit trees. Mike and Nori were incredibly gracious hosts. They are proud of their farm - and rightly so! - and are true believers in sustainable, holistic farming. We were curious about ways to buy organic, so they shared tips on how to pick quality produce. They also left us with a basket of freshly picked peaches, nectarines and plums from their orchard, all of which were absolutely delicious! We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again. Thank you, Mike and Nori!

  • Mike and Nori's place is perfect for a farm stay with family. They were very friendly, helpful and made our stay very personal by showing a bit of their life. Our room was extremely clean and equipped with everything one might need. The farm is very well located to visit the region and is also very calm and relaxing. We recommend anyone with or without a family a stay on Mike and Nori's farm.
