Beautiful Woodland hobbit/fairy/witch house Nestled away in our woodland is our new roundhouse. Built from natural materials, nearly all from the woodland around it and super insulated with gas hob, wood burner and running water. Come hideaway, hibernate, nestle and nuzzle.. tend fires, read, swim in our lake, pick salad and eggs from the farm... This cabin offers the perfect place to step into a different pace, to be at one with nature, to slow down and think about what matters in the world.
The roundhouse is part of our permaculture farm and campsite and is nestled away in 40 acres woodland. It has a compost toilet nearby and there is a hot shower and regular toilet available at the farm. For sleeping it has a double bed, a double sofa bed and big single bed. We will provide all bedding (but not towels). For cooking it has a double ring gas burner (and BBQ/Firepit outside), running water and a sink as well as most of the pots/pans/plates/mugs etc you could need. Its also got 12v lighting and a socket to plug in your phone (but its is truly off-grid and has no mains electricity). It is worth saying that the Roundhouse is in the woods and is about 300m from your car through the field and woods. We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner.
We are in a beautiful corner of the world, we are only 10 miles from M'nt Snowdon and only a mile to the beach, on the corner of the stunning Llynn Peninsula.
  • So, at first I didn’t want to even write a review. Only because I kinda want to keep this place all to my self. I 100% recommend this trip to anyone that has an outdoorsy bone in their body. I planned this trip for my wife, my 1 month old baby and my doggy only 12 hours before we left. This farm is pure magic and the energy there is unmatched, the roundhouse was perfect and has everything you could ever want (just be sure to bring some boots). The furnace was warm, having a gas hob made cooking a breeze, and there’s a sink with running water (only cold water, but no complaints there) which made doing dishes so easy, they had more than enough blankets and the scenery is unbelievable. 3 days just wasn’t enough. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of nature and miss the uninterrupted sound of birds singing. If I could give them 6/5 stars I would. Much love.

Tne caravan is situated in a lovely secluded paddock next to our house with views of the Snowdonia mountains and easy access to fantastic beaches and forests. Award winning restaurant just 3 minutes drive away. There is a shower unit which is shared use with our guests staying in the other caravan next door. They now have their own composting loo and so do you!
  • We had a fantastic stay in the gypsy caravan! There is so much to see in the surrounding area. The wood burner kept us warm all through the night and Mike is very responsive and accommodating. There were lots of friendly animals too which was another bonus. We highly recommend !

    Ollie2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • First, the caravan is the cutest and if you're looking for somewhere to stay a little different than your typical Airbnb, don't look any further. It was super clean and with all the equipment needed for a short stay. The little wood stove kept the place warm and the beds were really comfortable. Mike and Joanna are very nice guests and gave lots of local tips.

    Tymèle2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mike's place is lovely. He was very helpful and answered any queries immediately. Despite the stormy weather, we were safe and warm in the caravan.

    Clare2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a amazing hidden gem. We had a amazing time here. Mike as host we couldn't fault, from lighting the fire so it was cosy and warm for our arrival to fresh milk and his own eggs too . If we could give 11 out of 10 we would. Would recommend 1000% and were already looking at our next visit

    Rob2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for my wife and two children

    Chris2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • There was always good communication from Mike from the moment of booking, he responded quickly to our questions. The accommodation was outstanding and the craftsmanship of Mike is very impressive. We arrived on the day of the worst storm Anglesey had seen for a long time. The place was clean and beautiful. There is everything you could possibly need to be more than comfortable. The fresh eggs from Mike's own chickens was a lovely touch. We had one minor problem which Mike fixed straight away. There was plenty of firewood for the log burner, which Mike replenished straight away on request. The storm howled for 24 hours (it was brilliant) but we were warm, very comfy and safe. Mike had done a wonderful job of the accommodation. His dogs are lovely too. A wonderful place and host. Can't wait to go back!

    Wendy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful hut, everything we needed and much more, perfect little getaway, the gypsy hut was spotless, so so snug and cozy. Mike was brilliant, great communication, provided everything we asked for, his home and animals are just beautiful. Thank you so much for an amazing night, we will certainly be back in the near future!

    Jessie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mike was super helpful and friendly! The Gypsy Hut was amazing! Really cosy and warm even though the weather was awful outside. It made it even cosier. Thanks again Mike for being a great host!

The Coach House, Wales, United Kingdom

Enjoying its own private hot tub and delightful panoramic views over meadowland and hills, this comfortable and very spacious holiday home, set near the owner’s home, makes an ideal base from which to explore the glorious surroundings of the Snowdonia National Park, and is just 1 mile from a lovely, sandy beach. Historic Caernarfon, 6 miles, boasts a magnificent castle. Beach front bar/bistro. Shop and pub 1 mile. Well behaved pets welcome.
Private hot tub located on a patio with table and chairs. The patio has panoramic views of Snowdonia. Steps lead down to very large enclosed & fenced lawn. Interior space is all one level and has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, very spacious open-plan lounge/ dining room, bathroom with walk-in shower & spa bath and separate W.C. There is also a study/children's games room with children's multi-games table (air-hockey, table-tennis,pool, bar-billiards etc)
The area offers opportunities for beach activities, flying, golfing, walking, climbing, sailing, scuba diving, zip wire, cycling, fishing, horse riding or exploring the areas' many castles and historical and archaeological sites. Here are five activities that make for a great day out for both adults and children here in North Wales: 1. Zip World Snowdonia Zip World offers a unique range of activities within the Snowdonia National Park, including zip lining, underground quarry exploration and trampolining deep inside a former slate mine. One of their most popular activities is the zip line known as Velocity. This zip line is the longest in Europe, and boasts the title of the fastest zip line in the world. You’ll be flying at speeds of well over 100mph, so it’s certainly not an activity for the faint hearted! For those who manage to take in the view whilst travelling along the zip line, you’ll experience rewarding panoramic views of the quarry beneath, Anglesey and even the Isle of Man on clear days.If Velocity seems a little bit too much, Bounce Below should be your next choice. You’ll be taken down by train into a former slate mine which has been converted into a trampolining paradise. Atmospherically lit and featuring six levels of trampolines as well as four slides which are the height of two double-decker buses, it’s a fantastic day out for everyone. 2.Snowdonia Railway There are a number of steam train railways which take visitors along on scenic routes around the Snowdonia National Park. One railway in particular is the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which travels up and down from the summit of Snowdon each day. Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway gives those who aren’t able, or don’t want to climb a steep mountain the chance to witness the impressive views from the summit. The Ffestiniog Railway has been in business for over 150 years and stretches for 40 miles through the Snowdonia National Park. The railway service allows its guests to enjoy the beautiful sights from the comfort of a traditional steam train carriage. They have a range of full and half day journeys available to choose from. 3. Dragon Raiders Activity Park - Paintballing in Snowdonia The Dragon Raiders Activity Park is a 30 minute drive away from the holiday park. It offers a range of activities, from paintballing to group segway rides. If you can get together a group from the park, their paintball park is a brilliant day out.Set within 30 acres of Welsh forest, there are four specially designed paintball zones to explore. There’s also a shooting gallery to test your skills and prepare yourself for the day ahead. For those who don’t like the sound of paintballing, the Dragon Raiders Segway Adventures are a fun way to navigate through the surrounding forests. You can choose between a relaxing forest trek and an off-road rally trek, but don’t worry – you’ll receive a gliding suit to prevent you from getting too muddy! 4. Greenwood Forest Park This unique adventure park has a number of interesting attractions, including the UK’s first solar powered water ride and the world’s first people powered roller-coaster.There’s also the BareFoot Trail, which encourages you to get your socks off and safely walk through a range of different environments. Children can enjoy the Giant Jumper, as well as the Longbow Archery activity. During the summer months, donkey rides are also available at the Greenwood Forest Park. 5. Electric Mountain Tour You’ll be taken around the Dinorwig Power Station, which was build within a mountain to reduce the impact on the natural countryside of North Wales. The power station comprises of underground tunnels, spanning a total of 16km.
  • The cottage is a great family and dog friendly space to relax in and the location perfect for exploration of Snowdonia, Angelesey, and the Llyn Penninsula (you do need a car). Checkin and Checkout was really easy. We would love to stay again.

  • This property was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Really spacious with great views. Especially amazing views of the sky at night from the hot tub. Great communication with hosts who were welcoming. Our trip was better than expected and we would definitely recommend trying it out!

  • Fabulous location for Snowdon, the coat and surrounding areas. Underfloor heating kept the property lovely and warm for a January stay. Wet coats dried overnight which was a pleased surprise after reading other reviews with concerns around drying items. Enclosed garden was excellent, lovely size and perfect for 3 small dogs and had obviously been checked for any holes in the fence. Owner next door but very private and did not disturb us. Lovely stay with lovely walks nearby. Plan to stay again.

This beautiful hand made wooden yurt is a response to what guests staying in our old yurt wanted.. something a bit more sturdy and well insulated. It has beautiful views, and everything we think we would need.. a wood burner, double ring gas burner, double bed and two single beds (all bedding provided), a sink and mains electricity and lighting pans, crockery, etc is all provided, It's a perfect hideaway.. You just need to bring a smile and a sense of adventure..
This is 'Nearly Wild Glamping'.. It's not the hotel in a field that some more expensive sites offer, but it is the lovely and comfortable space in a beautiful location that we would want to use as a base or to hibernate in. The Yurt is 100 metres from our 'nearly wild' campsite... We only have six pitches though and they are all spread out.. so it is still very lovely! We do have... Lots of beautiful fairy land style meadow for you to explore - A small lake that you can swim in (and if you don't fancy that, a little boat you can go for a paddle in) - Woodland for you to wander in (and collect firewood from) - A stream for you to paddle in - Friendly lambs for you to play with (sometimes) - Eggs that you can collect yourself - Lots of beautiful organic home produced food for you - Beautiful views of the both the sea and mountains - Salad and veg that you can pick from the garden (when available) - The beach is less than two miles away - A compost toilet with amazing views - A converted cow shed with maps and books, sofas, fridge and freezer, microwave, wi-fi etc. - A hot shower, flush toilet and washing machine etc in the farmyard. We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner in the tent. Have a look at our website, type in Henbant to find out more.
We are in a brilliant spot, only two miles from the beach and only a fifteen minute drive from the foot of Mt Snowdon.
  • The most perfect, isolated, bolt hole, our family loved our time in the fairy house and we will be back. Incredibly cosy with the log burner, beautiful design and stunning views. My daughter asked if we could live there forever!

    Nicola2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • A truly fabulous retreat! Warm and cosy in winter, secluded and quiet. A wonderfully welcoming meet and greet, and the area is stunningly beautiful and close to loads of local amenities and attractions. Perfect for little families but even better for couples wanting a secret hideaway. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you very much for a delightful escape. X

  • An amazing getaway,in the wooden yurt, free from the stresses of life and getting back to nature.

    Clare2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Brilliant place and a super cosy yurt! Expect brilliant views and cosy evenings by the fire. You can pick up eggs and veg at the farm! A lovely place for a quiet and tranquil stay in nature.

  • Go to Henbant it is like to come back in the time living in nature. Essential to keep your mind healthy. Don`t worry. You`ll have hot shower, toilet and gas stove...lol

  • This eco wooden yurt exceeded our expectations. We spent the weekend away with our two small boys (4) & (2) who loved every second. So much space to roam and treasure hunt. The yurt was cosy with plenty of firewood and spotless. Every corner was magical and we had the best time. I would recommend a thousand times and we are sure to return. Thank you so much for having us.

    Ema2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful Welsh countryside getaway, in a great location. We particularly enjoyed picking our own produce to cook and being amongst the farm animals. Thank you for a lovely stay!

    Ellie2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you're tired of the modern world and want to feel at one with nature again this is the best place to stay. You can pick your own veg, forage for nuts and berries, collect your own firewood and experience the sounds of trees blowing in the wind and the animals around. The yurts are of all levels but we stayed in the wooden one, which I could quite happily live in! The most glorious place and somewhere we are already planning our trip back to! Thank you guys, Namaste 🙏🏽

  • We had a great time (despite the storm). The house has the real wow factor and the pigs a source of entertainment for the adults and the dogs😋. The views are amazing

    Denise2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at the Summit. We were there during Storm Ciara and still had a fantastic time! The house was incredible, amazing kitchen and living space down stairs. And the main bedroom with the en suite made me super jealous! The lane to the house is a bit pot holey, but we had SUV's and trucks so it was no major trouble. We were gutted the hot tub wasn't working before we went there, but with the weather it probably worked out for the best.

    Zac2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house in a beautiful setting, rural enough that theres lovely views all around but only a 5 minute drive to the nearest convenience store for anything you need. Very well equipped kitchen, lots of games and activities for a rainy day but plenty of outdoor activities within a reasonable drive too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again in the future.

    Joe2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Snowdon Summit View is an incredible house overlooking stunning views in a remote location where nobody but the local farm animals will disturb you and your group. The house is well equipped for bigger groups with plenty of sofa space around a huge smart TV, speakers built into the ceiling, and wall to wall windows to soak everything in even when its bad weather. Not to mention the biggest DVD collection which could have rivalled blockbuster in it's day. Kitchen wise, the biggest fridge/freezer anyone would ever need, plenty of hobs and ovens to cater for many people (or even cook separately) and a huge dining table to seat everyone at once. Enjoy big comfy beds in huge spacious and individually temperature controlled rooms. The shared bedrooms on the top floor dont have blinds so take an eye mask unless they have been updated since this review! The hosts, Emma and John are very approachable and helpful, and quick to respond. 10 minutes drive down the road is the local village with a co-op, a few takeaways and pubs. Would love to go back one day.

    Gareth2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • The living space is amazing, much bigger than expected. The pictures does not show how massive it is. Every bedroom is spacious. Theres outdoor hot tub and a separate games room outside which was a great addition. Also a bbq and coal is ready for use. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking. So beautiful. You are able to see the summit, lovely in the morning and sunset.

    Vasil2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Set in the countryside, with floor to ceiling windows, there’s no better view to wake up to. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Great size bathrooms, kitchen and lounge area. Perfect for our group of 12. The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking any meals. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, especially with our food order. Highly recommend staying here and would love to come stay again!

    Tessa2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Emma’s house is brilliant. Nice, big and open. With plenty of privacy and space. We will defiantly stay there again!

    Nick2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing home, a credit to the owners! Spectacular views, and an incredibly welcoming feeling as you arrive. The owner had left us a perfect welcome pack, including all the essentials we needed, and even some welsh cakes, which was a lovely touch. We only stayed for two nights, but we will definitely be going back. We made use of the hot tub which was blissful, and the owners left a really helpful manual with tips and suggestions. All in all, without doubt, a 10 out of 10 from us!

  • I stayed here for a night for my partner's 30th birthday. David is a very welcoming host and ensures that you have everything that you could need or want during your stay, even starting the fire for us before we came. The coach house is beautiful and cosy, a perfect place to escape and relax.

    Becky2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful escape into rural peace and quiet! The bed was super comfy, the wood burner kept the barn warm even in the midst of a storm; full of character and we were made to feel very welcome. You would be hard pushed to meet anyone else as warm hearted, with all the rescue animals around. We explored beaches and walked up near Snowdon. A very special place!

    Laura2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Gorgeous property! Excellent hospitality! Beautiful antiques in the space. You must love a friendly dog, cats and horses... we did! Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thanks again, David!

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay! Perfect accommodations for our brief time in the area. The carriage house is lovingly restored and very comfortable. David is an incredibly gracious host. If he’s able to cook for you, highly recommend you take him up on the offer. The meal was amazing. Absolutely a very charming experience and recommend without hesitation.

    Christopher2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • David is a really friendly host, making extra effort to make sure we were comfortable despite very stormy weather e.g. making sure we had logs for the fire, keeping us stocked up with the basics and checking-in every so often to make sure we had everything we needed. We opted in for dinner on one of the nights and it was really lovely Would recommend for anyone looking to have a comfortable stay in Snowdonia, as the place is located perfectly for visiting mount Snowdon and the surrounding areas

    Becca2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • A charming place with animals. No wifi. Remote and magical. Thank you.

We have just moved our bell tent to a more sheltered location on our front lawn. Fabulous view from the patio across our field to the rolling countryside beyond. Easy access to fantastic beaches and forests just ten minutes drive away. Award winning restaurant just 3 minutes drive away - in UK Top 40 places to eat. The tent now has it’s own private composting toilet and shower unit together with a kitchen sink and draining board.
The tent is well-equipped for your stay with a double bed though we have moved out the sofa bed and replaced it with an armchair. There is a log-burning stove and an electric blanket on the bed so you will be warm even in the winter! There is a cooking area with two-ring electric hob, kettle and fridge. The local pub is very friendly and does good food
  • We had a fantastic time here. The tent has so much attention to detail and everything that you would need. The hot shower is lovely! And the eggs and milk upon arrival were a lovely surprise. Thank you Mike!

  • Great stay in the Luna tent. Tent had everything you needed for a comfortable break. Fire kept the tent warm even in the winter. Mike was a friendly host and explained everything about the accommodation and local eateries. Would be a great place to stay in the summer as well when you could sit outside. Friendly family dogs.

    Paul2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mike's place was one of the best places I stayed in during my UK tour. It has got everything one would need. It's a good place to explore Anglesey and it's very close to Snowdonia aswell. Mike is a very friendly host. The place has got Caravans aswell and hence a large group could book the place. Thank you for the hospitality Mike.

  • Lovely stay - really nice facilities and super location ! Would recommend :)

    Jess2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Everything from start to finish was great. Decided to have a night away very last minute, Mike was very responsive and helpful - putting a camp bed into the bell tent for our daughter. The tent itself was very spacious (even with an extra bed) we arrived and were given a brief but descript tour of the facilities, the fire was on, and it was all very cosy. My husband had concerns that it may of been cold, but it was the opposite - we found ourselves turning off the electric blanket during the night! We will definitely be returning later in the year when the nights are lighter so we can sit out and enjoy the view.

    Justine2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • You have to come here!! It was absolutely amazing, the views to wake up to in the morning are outstanding. Easily located off the road, close enough to multiple different attractions. Warm and cosy inside the teepee too, definitely recommend.

    Jack2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable place to stay! Host recommended a great tapas bar and everything was easy to find! Only 25 minute drive from Zip World! Fabulous night thank you.

Stunning contemporary Beach house which sits just 2 seconds walk from the award winning blue flag beach of Dinas Dinlle with its Iron Age hill fort and views of the wildly beautiful Lynn Peninsular and Snowdonia mountain range. Our beach house is called Tanat and has been designed to enjoy both mountain and sea views. It has Bi-Fold doors on both floors which open up the back of the property to the garden and those amazing views.
Downstairs you will find the main open plan living area which opens onto the back garden via a single opening door within the bi folds or by opening the bi folds completely, weather and wind dependent. The open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area has underfloor heating, a contemporary built in electric fire and electric boiler servicing radiators throughout the house. The main bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and sink and there is an additional toilet located on this floor along with the master and 2nd bedroom. Upstairs we have created a superb dual purpose room with a viewing area to watch the world go by during the day and the sun dip into the ocean by night. There is also a L shaped sofa by a log burner with a smart tv and DVD player along with a retro games console. By night this room transforms into the 3rd bedroom with one simple lever mechanism the brand new luxury sofa pulls out into a bed and the side tables come in to create bedside tables. There is also a clever large driftwood cupboard which when opens is actually a full size wardrobe. Blinds pull down over all the glass windows to create a nightime sanctuary. When creating this room we wanted it to have the feel of a bright fresh lounge only by day and come bedtime transform quickly into a cosy bedroom to lie in bed and view the night sky by the burning embers of the log burner. Outside we have plenty of space to relax with built in seating by the fire pit and a picnic table. At the end of the garden you can sit and view the iron aged hill fort. There is also a grassed garden area, decking area and front enclosed patios.
In our quiet neighborhood we are lucky to have some really lovely local people running small local businesses mainly in season. This includes a cafe, beach shop, restaurant/bar, gift shop, fish and chip takeaway. The area is not built up at all and only offers limited seasonal amenities. In winter 2 cafes are open mainly weekends and some week days only. Just 1 mile away in the little hamlet of Llandwrog you will find a welcoming local pub which serves food 5 nights a week and is always open for a drink. Caernarfon is just a 7 mile drive away and has all conveniences you need.
  • This is a wonderful house, really well designed and with all the amenities you could wish for away from home. There is plenty of space to relax in with two sitting areas, one downstairs and one upstairs which also provides a great viewing area for the sea front. The kitchen is very well laid out with good quality equipment and just about every cooking implement you could possibly need! The bedrooms are quite small but very comfortable. The whole house was really well heated and cosy. A lot of thought had been taken by Deborah the host, right down to a bottle of Prosecco for New Year’s Eve! The house is in a quiet area but this is what we were looking for. There are some good walks along the coast in either direction. We had a very enjoyable stay!

    Neil2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous house with stunning views. House is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Really clean and with extra touches for the festive season. Great communication and we had a really lovely few days stay.

    Alexandra2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great house in lovely spot. Quick, helpful communication from hosts. Easy check in/ out. Clean, well kitted out house- has all you will need and then some. Views from upstairs are fantastic on nice days. Stones throw from the beach. Having two comfy reception rooms is great. There were 6 of us staying with two others living locally in for tea and there was plenty space. Perfect location for family beach break. Would definitely stay again.

    Niall2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for another great stay! The house is immaculate and very comfortable. Deborah is a great host, very responsive and gave helpful recommendations. Will definitely stay again

    Rebecca2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Deborah is a superhost! and her Beach House is a splendid property. Perfect - we had a brilliant time at Tanat Beach House. It is well designed and well equipped. Ideally located for Caernarfon and its Castle, Snowdonia, Port Meirion, and many other area of outstanding beauty. We will be back for more adventures and to see the brilliant sunset views.

    Lesley2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Deborah’s house is a complete delight; beautifully stylish, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything you could possibly need is available. There was a lovely bottle of fizz waiting for us on arrival which was very much appreciated! The space worked really well for our family group and the upstairs sitting room was a real added bonus. We loved being able to look out over the sea and being able to watch the sun set every evening. My grandson was able to play safely in the enclosed garden which afforded complete privacy. All in all a great place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or return there myself.

    Sue2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • This house is an absolute beauty ... very well designed and wonderfully furnished. The ability to open up the whole wall into the front garden really does bring the outside in (and vice versa). We loved it Facilities in Dinas Dinlle are just about enough to keep you happy - HEMS Air Ambulance cafe and Morgan Lodge are good enough if you don’t want to go far but the house is located in a good location to travel to Caernarfon, Portmeirion, Snowdonia or Anglesey within half an hour Definitely worth booking

A sympathetic renovation of a 1772 built village home was completed in 2016, in the grounds of owner's home. This studio property has a double bed, table and chairs, a kitchenette and level access shower room. There is a multi fuel stove, background electric heating, wifi and TV /dvd. The kitchenette includes a fridge freezer, sink, toaster, kettle and microwave. Two well behaved dogs welcome at no additional charge. Smoke free. 2 miles from beach, restaurant, cafe, forest and shop.
This property does not have a cooker. Owners have two friendly dogs. On street parking in quiet village next to the property and space for 1 car on the driveway which also benefits from camera security.

Nothing was too much for them and Rob was particularly helpful with lighting the fire when we needed it. Great place to stay which is nearby lots of great walks and beaches. Couldn’t rate it high enough. Thank you so much.

  • We had a wonderful two night stay. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. Annie was very helpful and had kindly started the wood burner for us before we arrived so the cottage was lovely and warm. The cottage has a very cosy feel! We had been provided with tea/coffee, milk and welsh cakes which was lovely to arrive to. Annie was always available if we needed anything or needed to ask advice on where to visit. We would definitely recommend and would be very keen to go back ourselves.

  • Lovely little cosy getaway. Annie and Rob were so welcoming and provided us with lots of logs for the fire. TV had lots of options, Netflix iplayer, prime video etc. Great food recommendations! A car is a necessity due to the lovely nature surroundings it’s a bit far to walk to the shops. Thanks for a lovely stay!

You will find a warm welcome awaits you in our pink fronted terraced cottage in a quiet rural village, off the beaten track . It is perfect for one or two adults but not suitable for children. Must love dogs as we have two friendly pooches (see photos). Ideal location for Snowdonia. Please note there is no parking by the cottage, parking is on the road just up from the terrace. Please use our postcode to guide you to us as the directions on Airbnb take you to the wrong village!!!
This is our home which we love to share, your bedroom is accessed by stairs. You are welcome to use the kitchen , as the cooking source is a solid fuel Rayburn ask for help if required. A variety of teas and coffee are always available so feel free to brew up. Bed linen and towels are provided. Although there is no parking on the property there is always parking on the road. Our home is a one minute walk to Mynydd Cilgwyn Mountain which is heather covered in summer and autumn and a beautiful place to see and experience nature. We are located just outside the stunning Snowdonia National Park and a Dark Sky Area. There is a stunning view from our decking towards Anglesey/Ynys Môn, you can see Caernarfon Castle, The Rivals/Yr Eifl, the Menai Strait and sometimes Ireland on a very clear day.
The neighbourhood is quiet, house is at the edge of a small village. Its ideal for anyone who likes peace and tranquillity, outdoors and walking. There are some great places to eat a short drive away.

This Beautiful unique 'Beach front' property is warm and inviting with a cosy interior and log burner. The views from all the windows are to die for. This is a rare Gem of a property which has uninterrupted views of the Irish sea which is just metre's from the cabin at high tide. We often see seals, dolphins & herons. With private steps down to the beach and use of our slipway it is ideal for water sports bird watching, walking, kayaking, swimming ,surfing.Just a few miles to Snowdon & Caernarfon
Location Location Location That is what 'The Beach house' is all about. To sit and watch the sea wash away your stress is so relaxing. Enjoy sunsets with a glass of wine on the private wrap around decking area overlooking the sea and the island of Anglesey . Ideal for water sports as we own the slipway and the chalet has private steps down to the beach. Perfect area for surfing ! the photos in this listing of surfers right in front of the house were taken in Oct & Nov 2018 Bring your surfboard kayak or boat ? **Please note the price is for 4 guests In two double bedroom The property also has a double sofa bed for guests 5-6 this is a extra cost of £35per night We also now have listed a newly renovated 3 bed house next door to the beach house making it possible to accommodate 2 families or up to 8-9 guests . Each day the beach changes with its birdlife and local seals you will find it hard to leave. At the sea front of the property , all you can see is open sea , looking to the right you can see the coast of Anglesey with its flashing lighthouses at Holyhead and to the left the beautiful Lynn Peninsula . Then behind the chalet there are views of Mount Snowdon and beyond. Its the perfect location with even more perfect views. The Beach house even attracts the famous! Recently staying here mike and Jules Peters from The welsh rock band The Alarm said ‘after traveling the world for years always looking to stay near the beach this is now their favourite place !’ Wow what a compliment even more so they booked to come back and Jules calls it her new ‘happy place ‘ .
'The Beach house' is just one of 4 houses in this prime sea front location. One of the two we own . The beach house and the beach escape can be hired together for up to 8 guests or separate . Both have their own private facilities balcony and decking areas . The only other 2 houses along this coast are private holiday homes not often used so usually empty . The only parking in this area is to each house . So as there is no common parking in the area we only see the odd walker from the small village or from West point park ( private holiday lodge owners) although this is closed in winter, so the beach and surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. Yet just a few miles either way on the main road you find Caernarfon and Pwllheli with a Tesco Morrisons and Asda The local village Penygroes is just 5 minutes away and has a co op supermarket and convenience store Along with a Chinese ,Indian ,kebab and chip shop
  • A fantastic place in a great location. This really is a hidden gem, very clean, very cosy and felt like a home away from home. Our host’s communication was great throughout. Will definitely be coming back again!

  • The Beach House where we stayed was absolutely lovely, you get a great warm feeling as soon as you open the front door. Storm Ciara was unfortunate Saturday daytime/night but that didn’t get us down about the weekend stay. It was lovely to have a visit from Joules ‘the cat’ too..she got spoilt with lots of fuss and treats. I will definitely be coming back again one day

    Jane2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful weekend we've had!! The location, property, cosiness, blew us away and we were so lucky to see blue sky and snow capped mountains. Having been ill for a few weeks it was the perfect place to recuperate and have some sea air. I will never forget being sat in front of the woodburner looking out to sea, feel like a new woman!! Thank you so much Victoria.

  • Great little place, SO close to the sea. Just as it looks in the photos. Quaint, simply equipped house which had all we need. Location makes this place an amazing place in the winter, we saw such stormy seas. Walks on the beach cleared the cob webs away. Warm and cosy with the log fire going in the evenings. Would love to return.

  • The cottage was well located, close enough to Caernarfon but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. It is a very spacious place, comfortable to relax and enjoy the views of the mountains. Charlotte and Rich were very responsive to queries and left some good tips for the local area.

    Amanda2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • I recommend Charlotte's place, we had a great time. It was spacious and comfortable, nicely appointed with good quality furniture. The situation is great for birdwatchers between estuary and mountains

  • We really enjoyed our stay here! We’d booked for 3 nights as a little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted by Rich with a warm friendly welcome. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for us, and the view from the upstairs window is gorgeous! We would recommend to anyone looking for a calm, quiet getaway in Wales!

    Ashleigh2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rich & Charlotte have been super. They welcomed us when we arrived explaining where we could find things and how to get settled. The cottage is cosy and well equipped. The whole area is the perfect place where you want to go if you want escape busy sites or explore some nature. Close to the cottage there is the Snowdonia park where we hiked and you can enjoy amazing views. The cottage is situated close to the beach where you can join the costal path of Wales all the way up to Caernarfron. Cottage highly recommended.

The small family home of Cefn Eithin provides two comfortable self catering holiday cottages. Eithin Bach and Stiwdio Eithinog are located next to the family home of Cefn Eithin. This listing is for the cottage of EITHIN BACH. It is perfect for a  small family or a couple to holiday throughout the year. It offers a wonderful home from home self catering holiday experience. The beautiful castle town of Caernarfon and the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park are within very easy reach of Cefn Eithin
Parking for the property is ample and privacy is afforded. Eithin Bach is a single storey cottage. The entrance leads to the comfortable kitchen / diner / lounge, off which you can access the main bedroom, then the bathroom. The second, smaller bunkbedroom is accessed beyond the bathroom. For this reason alone I would recommend the let is more suitable to a couple or small family than groups of friends. Our campervan and caravan site has plenty of space to kick a football around, or just enjoy a bit of outdoor garden space. You are welcome to use the wooden goal posts there for a kick about. Bird life in the garden area and the neighbouring fields is very good. The tranquility of the location is wonderful, as are views of the Snowdonia mountains and over Abermenai to Anglesey The cottage is available for week long or shorter term bookings, depending on availability.
Eithin Bach is in a rural setting, surrounded by fields full of sheep and country lanes. The local village of Bethesda Bach has a nice bar / restaurant, but little else. Slightly further afield, the town of Bontnewydd has more facilities. The market and castle town of Caernarfon is less than 5 miles away, where you can get anything you need shopping wise and enjoy wonderful harbour and castle sight seeing.
  • We had a great stay, location was ideal and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended

Croeso cynnes i Bryn Eisteddfod, ein cartref cyfeillgar yn Nghaernarfon. Mike and Iona would love to welcome you to stay in the recently refurbished top floor rooms of their Grade II listed house in Caernarfon. The rooms, comprise of 1 double bedroom, sitting room, private bathroom, with bath and separate shower and spacious landing. Please note that the house is situated on a road and can start to be busy between 07:00 - 19:00.
Bryn Eisteddfod was built in 1837 spanning the Georgian and Victorian era. The style reflects the increasing prosperity of Caernarfon as a harbour town during this period. The house is being lovingly restored by us and we seek to retain as many of the original features as possible The rooms available are on the top floor up two flights of comfortable stairs. The rooms (originally believed to be the servants quarters!) have been converted into a bright and fresh living space. We do have a further double room available on the same floor which can be made available for additional members of your party at a discounted rate of £25 per person per night, both rooms have double beds, storage space and televisions. A snug sitting room with a large comfy leather sofa and internet connected television is the ideal space if you wish to spend an evening indoors. The floor has its the own private bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower. Towels and toiletries are provided for your use. There is also a large landing that has facilties for making your tea/ coffee etc. A small fridge is available to keep your milk fresh and wine/ gin chilled! We have ample storage for cyclists, canoeists, walkers and other outdoor pursuits aficionados to store your kit. For those muddy walking and cycling days, we also have available a large walk in wet room for your use on the ground floor. PLEASE NOTE: If you were just booking the 1 room, to give you total privacy, we do not book the second room out to any third party, thereby allowing you the use of the whole floor exclusively (less the second bedroom).
Bryn Eisteddfod is located within easy walking distance of the town. It is a town house so please expect the normal noise of town life plus seagulls! Please note that the house is situated on a road and can start to be busy between 07:00 - 19:00. To make finding us easy- take a look at the last two photos; the sat nav doesn't always pinpoint the correct house. Guests please check in by 19:00 or if you are having difficulties please let us know at the earliest opportunity. We have had guests arriving at midnight some 5 hours after check in end time and not informing us.
  • Lovely space with a fabulous bathroom.

  • Michael made us feel very welcome, we arrived later than planned after a 6 hour traffic ridden drive from Berkshire and he greated me and my family at the door with a smile. He even offered to cook us some dinner! We were taken to the top floor of the house where there was a bedroom, landing area with tea and coffee making facilities, living room with a TV and a lovely bathroom. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was supplied in the morning there was fruit, cereal, cheese, pastries and yogurts and Michael was on hand for teas and coffee's. The only thing we would say the place could do with was some kind of bolt lock on the bedroom door. We would fully recommend staying here, Michael is a superb host who would do anything for you and has a beautiful home!

    Joe2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing!!! Everything was perfect. Michael and Iona are the loveliest hosts and have the most amazing house. We had the upstairs to ourselves and it was just lovely. Exactly as you see on the pictures. The bath was probably the highlight after an 8 hour hike in the rain. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful! We have stayed in plenty of vacation rentals and this must be the best one!! Thanks for having us!

    Laura2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • I would recommend a visit here as I wanted to see the Caenarfon castle and this was a good setting. the fact that you get the top floor to yourself makes the stay very pleasant.

    John2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Iona were extremely welcoming and did all they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The accommodation consisted of a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom with a powerful shower, a cosy lounge with modern TV and a great view of Caernarfon Castle. We appreciated the generous breakfast with a selection of cereals, fruits and pastries as well as the container filled with snacks to enjoy at our leisure. We would highly recommend Michael and Iona's place.

    John2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Would definitely recommend, place was lovely, lots to offer within the accommodation, what a lovely couple and amazing breakfast options would definitely stay again

    Daniel2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great welcome, good by the city center, good breakfast and great accommodation!

    Robin2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Iona are extraordinary hosts! The guest rooms where really spacious, clean and furnished and decorated with lots of love. We were provided with everything we needed and more. Michael picked us up from the train station, brought us back there and even drove us to the riding stables. They even lent us their raincoats as we weren't really prepared for the welsh weather. The breakfast was very delicious with lots of options! The location is also great for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and Caernarfon Castle is just around the corner. We would definitely recommend Michael and Iona's place!

  • Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Communications with Dave excellent. Cottage was comfortable, warm, very clean and well equipped. It is in an excellent location for visiting Llanddwyn Island the main reason for our trip. Lots of other interesting places to visit nearby. Would definitely return if visiting Anglesey in the future.

    Chris2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend this air bnb. The property was ideally located for our stay with short drive to the beach and short walk to a local restaurant (The Marram Grass). The host kept us well informed during booking and during the stay and supplied a detailed info booklet within the property that answered any questions we may have. The property is perfectly cosy with great stove all ready to fire up on our arrival. The linen was clean, beds comfortable, showers hot. The property was filled with all the things you would need from pots, pans, spices and sauces, cook books, towels, soaps and the lost goes on. Quiet location. Highly recommended.

    Luke2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the cottage with our three young children age 8, 6 and 18 months .Before we arrived we got very detailed Info about how to get there and where best to park . Mandy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • David's place is simply perfect, we'd recommend it to anyone. Newborough is the ideal location to explore Anglesey from, the cottage is in the middle of the village, walking distance from everything you need, including the forest and the beach. The space itself is warm and welcoming, the kitchen is really well equipped and we felt at home immediately. The lounge is superb, cosy sofas, a roaring log fire and beautiful original features. David was a great host, communicated by text message and made checking in and out very easy. He also left a few gifts for us to make us feel welcome, which we certainly did!

  • This cute little caravan was the perfect place to stay for a couple of nights. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdon and surrounding areas. The shower was fantastic and the loo was so clean! Loved the fact there was a little fridge in the caravan and there were lots of touches to make life easy such as cloth, scooter trees towel etc to wash up. We used the sink at the side of the shower unit to wash up as it had running water but for a few items the bowl in the caravan sink is fine. We were warm and cosy despite the rainy weather. We will definitely be returning.

    Aaron2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect. Such a cute, vintage caravan situated beautifully for us to stay after the Rhyd Ddu path up Snowdonia. The bathroom and shower were outside but so clean and lovely, hot water in the shower! The caravan even had all the amenities (heater, extra blankets, stove, little fridge, and a kettle ready to boil!). We will definitely be returning for any future Snowdonia travels!

You're assured a warm welcome to this beautiful cottage! Stunning location bordering Snowdonia (10 minute walk to Park Boundary). On a clear day Snowdon herself is in full view. Close to castles, Llyn Peninsula, much beautiful coastline, a stone's throw from Anglesey and more! Cosy single downstairs room for solo travellers, one of three rooms here, where I accommodate up to 5 people. N.B. downstairs bathroom! Be pampered, have a restorative break, explore this glorious area in North Wales!
Recently renovated, Llys Ifor has all modern comforts whilst retaining its welsh character. The renovation has been done sensitively to keep the feel of a cottage, and some features have been retained, like a small inglenook fireplace. I am an experienced host who loves having people to stay. My job here is to make people feel made welcome and comfortable. I am creating a wild life haven and pond here.
A rural area, full of outstanding beauty and with coast line, sea, hills, mountains, rivers and nature in abundance. The village is small and friendly, and has some bus services but they are limited, so planning is the order of the day!
  • Phenomenal and inspiring, the best Airbnb I've stayed in, and I'm not overstating anything. June is very kind and truly cares to make you feel welcome, rather than merely providing a room. Her cooking was great, and it's a great value in a great location near Snowdon and the coast.

    Sean2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • June is a most interesting and conscientious host who does her best to make you feel at home. The cottage is beautifully and artistically restored Highly recommended

  • A recently renovated property, June has spent a lot of time energy and money to offer this high standard accomodation. I arranged to stay at late notice for one night and June accepted my stay. I stayed in a room with a single bed just off the kitchen...other rooms and a cottage with a hot tub is also available. Tv and wifi work well. The property is in a quiet village of Nebo great views , quiet and clean, approx 25min drive from Porthmadog and Llanberis. I was offered a evening meal but as id already eaten i declined. Continental Breakfast was fab, soda bread, yoghurt, local cake etc a nice change to a cooked breakfast. Ideal for walks, but a car is necessary, although the village has a local bus service. The underfloor heating is great for these cold nights, the only criticism i have is ladys wearing high heeled shoes on a marble/stone floor can be a little off putting...but didnt prevent me from sleeping.! Thank you June for letting me stay Mark

  • A cozy, beach-side bungalow. Felt safe and warm all throughout the storm that raged outside. When the rain eased we enjoyed walking on the beach, following the circular walks suggested, and driving along the Llyn Peninsular.

  • My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Beach Escape. We stayed in January and it was nice and cosy. Central heating and underfloor heating. No problems with wifi. Plenty of space. Quality, stylish furnishings and everything you would need to cook your own meals. Check-in was a doddle and Victoria did everything possible to make our stay fantastic.

    Craig2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely seaside home, the location is perfect for those of you who loves a view, and what a view it has! Cosy home away from home even in the winter!

    Luchuan2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Well they say Location, Location, Location, and this property certainly has that. The pictures do not do justice to view from two of the three bedrooms and well as the living area. Visited with two 90+ year olds. While they are a couple of steps down to the door into the property and a couple of steps into the bathroom they managed these without issues. Other than that no steps. Convenient for many of the nearby attractions, and despite been November, and many places closed for the season, we never struggled for places to visit No hesitation in recommending.

A traditional Welsh cottage in the heart of North Wales on the island of Anglesey. Situated on the road leading to Newborough Beach and Llanddwyn Island. This beautiful cottage is within a 2 minute drive to the beach. The cottage boasts window views of the Snowdonia mountain range and the Menai Straits.
Coleg Bach is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the entrance of one of the best rated beaches in the UK. There is a local cafe, pub, store and takeaway within a 1 minute walk. The cottage offers complimentary tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits. Newborough beach is roughly one mile from the cottage, you can get there by walking along the famous Anglesey coastal path through Newborough forest, or a short 1 minute drive to the car park. Guests can use the cottage beach pass for FREE which saves a £5 entry fee (ideal if your planning on visiting the beach more than once) and it also gives you access to a private car park on the beach itself. The cottage is ideal for couples or families looking for a few nights relaxing, sat infront of the cosy fire, or for the more adventurous type who love the outdoor scenery and coastal walks. A gas BBQ will be available to use from May. (Gas bottle and all utensils are on site)
The cottage is situated in a perfect location for exploring. I have left plenty of leaflets for guests to browse so they can pick which activities they would like to do on their stay. If you require any recommendations I'm more than happy to help.
  • Lovely, cute house, nicely done and thought put into it all, you even get the fire laid so all you have to do is light when you arrive, perfect! Host was also easy to contact and good.

  • Tim’s cottage was lovely and cosy. Perfectly located for a quick trip to the beautiful Newborough beach. Tim gave us loads of tips for things to do and places to eat and was a great host. Cheers Tim!

  • This a cute little cottage spread over 3 floors and the warmest cottage we’ve ever stayed in! It’s in the heart of the village so friendly pub with pool table a few minutes walk away. Next to cafe, shop and chippy. It’s better to plan your meals and take shopping with you as the local shop is limited. There are amazing walks from the door to the Breathtaking Newborough beach through forest and sand dunes. The views across the Menai are absolutely stunning!

    Lisa2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous little cottage, spotlessly clean and close to a beautiful beach. We took our toddler who had a great time. The car park pass really came in handy and the log burner kept us toasty every evening. Also totally recommend the local chippy!

    Eleanor2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely cottage, very clean and very close to the beach!

    Heather2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for New Year’s Eve with our 4 month old boy. The location is amazing! The cottage itself is beautiful and very cosy! Amazing little touches and Christmas decorations really made it feel like a home away from home!

    Dariane2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We have just enjoyed 3 days over Christmas in Tim's cottage which was beautifully decorated for us and was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The cottage is equipped with everything needed for self catering and a lot of thought has been put into guests needs. It was too cold to use the garden but it would be great to sit out there in warmer weather. The neighbours were very friendly and welcoming and parking at the cottage was easy. The beach and dunes were brilliant for walking and we would love to return to do more walking in the area.

    Jennifer2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tim’s home is very cozy and clean. There are nice are very nice hiking trails nearby. The location is quiet and has a spectacular view of Snowdonia from the second floor. The WiFi works well. The shower and kitchen are a little tight. However, the entire space was impeccably clean and there was a nice stock of fluffy towels and adequate supplies for cooking. The checkin process is simple and the area felt very safe. I would definitely stay there again.

Dating from 1881, this charming 4 bedroomed family house was built as the School Master's house. It has been finished to a high standard and can easily sleep 8 either on an entire house basis, or room by room. Phone or email for options. Situated in the popular residential village of Bethel, conveniently located for the centres of Caernarfon and Bangor, the property is situated along the B4366 road on the cusp of the Snowdonia National Park and en route to the beautiful Llyn Peninsula.
Ty'r Ysgol (translates to School House) is as the name suggests, a former School Master's house and offers a welcoming atmosphere. It is situated just 3 miles from the historic Castle town of Caernarfon, 5 miles from the University City of Bangor and right on the edge of Snowdonia which just has more and more to offer, not only its obvious beauty but more recently also has become an area for adventure including Surf Snowdonia surf centre, Bounce Below for trampolining, ZipWorld, Go Below, Greenwood Forest Park and many other attractions.
The house is located in a medium-sized village, with a small convenience store/post office for basic needs. The house is located on the main road in the village, but it is a quiet road and all windows are double-glazed which dampens the outside noise. There is a close, welcoming, community in the village.
  • Alicia goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable and happy. Can’t say enough good things about her and her family. If you are looking to visit the area Alicia’s place is the best stay around.

I found Alicia to be very warm and friendly and very easy to get along with. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and conducive to a great night's sleep. The small family home of Cefn Eithin provides two comfortable self catering holiday cottages. Stiwdio Eithinog is located next to the family home of Cefn Eithin. This listing is for the cottage of STIWDIO EITHINOG. It is perfect for a couple, or a single person to holiday throughout the year. It offers a wonderful home from home self catering holiday experience. The beautiful castle town of Caernarfon and the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park are within very easy reach of Cefn Eithin
Parking for the property is ample and privacy is afforded. Stiwdio Eithinog is a single storey cottage. The entrance leads to the new and comfortable kitchen / diner, off which you can access the main living and sleeping area. The living area has comfortable seats and a table, so it is a great space for relaxing, eating or watching the TV. The double bed is in the same room, although it's separated by a small step. Our campervan and caravan site has plenty of space to kick a football around, or just enjoy a bit of outdoor garden space. You are welcome to use the wooden goal posts there for a kick about. Bird life in the garden area and the neighbouring fields is very good. The tranquility of the location is wonderful, as are views of the Snowdonia mountains and over Abermenai to Anglesey The cottage is available for week long, longer or shorter term bookings, depending on availability.
  • Had a great stay at Stiwdio Eithinog. Andy and Helen took us in at short notice and were very helpful and friendly. The apartment has everything you need and has lots of great touches. The location is good too. Highly recommended !

  • Perfect for a couple just wanting to get away from things. Near the sea and perfectly clean and tidy. Provided us with all that we needed. Thank you

  • What a lovely find. Andy was very happy with a non contact approach to your stay as the the studio is quite remote you can keep yourself to yourself and have as little or as much interaction as possible. The studio is lovely, well equipped and ideal for a nice stay. Lovely area. Welcoming host, understanding of the social distancing and non contact nature in these terrible times. Ideal for all local attractions. A real delight.

Cosy terraced house just completely refurbished and eco-friendly, in a quiet cul de sac in the centre of the historic Royal Town of Caernarfon. 300 yards from the Castle and square, 400 yards from the shoreline and plenty of good pubs and eateries. Perfect for exploring Snowdonia. 20 minutes from Zipworld and four of the Snowdon footpaths. Very well equipped. Private rear paved courtyard/garden with seating and lots of sun. A comfy king size bed and good wifi - what more could you want?!
A residents parking permit will be provided. New restrictions mean that there is always a space near to the house. We have tried to ensure that everything is provided for you to have a perfect stay in Caernarfon - a five star home from home. We have enjoyed stellar reviews for our first Airbnb home - Trigfa - in nearby Waunfawr and hope to achieve the same with Tŷ Ni. We are dog owners ourselves and welcome well behaved dogs but ask that they are never left at the house unaccompanied. There is a great park for exercising just five minutes walk away past the Castle as well as some of the most exhilarating walking in the UK just a very short drive or bus ride away. Many pubs in the area are dog-friendly. We try to be as sustainable and green as possible. All the cleaning products used are eco-friendly and bottles are re-filled at our local-shop plastic free eco-shop in the Castle Square. All your bedding and towels will have been washed in Ecover products and air dried either on the line at our home in the hills or over our carbon-neutral woodburner.
Caernarfon Castle and castle walls is a World Heritage Site set on the Menai Straits. It makes an ideal base for all sorts of adventures available in Snowdonia and beyond.
  • Brilliant location, very clean and comfortable, an ideal base for the town and Snowdonia.

  • A great location to get out and about including Snowdon & Devil’s Kitchen. A small space but only 2 of us staying so enough space for us! Had all the pots and pans needed and was sparkling clean all over. Quick responses from host who was accommodating to our needs. Excellent value for money!

  • Excellent!

    Diana Elena2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Marianne’s for a short break this weekend as a base for a day in the mountains. Up to and during our stay Marianne was really helpful and very quick to respond to any questions or enquires, not that we had many but Marianne was an excellent host. The space is cosy and perfect for a couple or individuals as a base. The house was spotlessly clean and looked brand new throughout. We found the area very quiet and peaceful. The main historic town, castle, square and harbour are all no more than 15 minutes walk away at most, the square and it’s shops are 5 mins away with a small supermarket, bigger supermarkets are close by in the town, Pen-y-Pass and all Snowdon’s footpath starts are within 30 minutes drive as is the Ogwen valley. All in all a nice location with an really nice helpful host and a lovely cosy house in easy reach of the areas attractions.

You're assured a warm welcome to this beautifully restored small barn, now a cosy cottage with exclusive use of all year round hot tub! Stunning location bordering Snowdonia (10 mins walk to Park). On clear days Snowdon, Yr Wyddfa, herself is in full view. Free Electric car charge. Close to castles, Llyn Peninsula, much beautiful coastline, stone's throw from Anglesey & more! Suitable for couples/one individual. Come, pamper yourself on a restorative break, explore a glorious area, North Wales!
Recently renovated this once derelict barn, the Bwthyn Bach at Llys Ifor, has all modern comforts whilst retaining its character. The renovation has been done sensitively to keep the feel of a rural cottage, and some features have been retained, like the original barn lintels. The exclusive hot tub is given a water change after every booking, and the cleaning fee reflects this. There is a small private garden for the use of guests and you are always welcome to pop over to the main house for a cuppa! I am an experienced host who loves having people to stay. My job here is to make people feel made welcome and comfortable. I am creating a wild life haven and pond here so the landscaping is still in progress. But the place is surrounded by mountains and there is a river on the border of my land which you can hear from the cottage! .
A rural area, full of outstanding beauty and with coast line, sea, hills, mountains, rivers and nature in abundance. The village is small and friendly, and has some bus services but they are limited, so planning is the order of the day!
  • Dearest June, And everyone who is reading this. This place is flawless, magic and “exit’’ from these crazy days ... Fancy for walk to the Tŵr Mawr Lighthouse, to see South Stack, to go shopping to the Beddgelert, have a hot chocolate at the Ugly House or “climb’’ Snowdon? Stay here and cozy cottage with the view to THAT mountain (from the hot-tub) will take part of your heart away ... Thank you

  • It was a pleasure staying in June's property. She made us feel extremely welcome and gave us a quick run down of the property and how to use the facilities. The place was completely spotless and we were pleasantly surprised with the little touches of chocolates and Welsh cakes. The hot tub was great to use and it is maintained daily which is great. You have everything you need when you visit here and it was an extremely relaxing getaway! We will happily visit again in the future!

    Ruhe2020-02-18T00:00:00Z

Newborough, Anglesey. A recently renovated annexe to our main house, with its own separate entrance. Downstairs there is large sitting room with dining area. Patio doors open into the garden. There is also a bathroom and small open plan kitchen. A staircase leads upstairs to the spacious bedroom with ensuite shower room. The bedroom has a large picture window with panoramic views towards Snowdonia, Caernarfon, the Menai Strait and the Llyn Peninsula (not to mention our lovely garden!).
The annexe is a self-contained unit at the far end of our house, with its own separate entrance. It is connected to the main house by a door at the top of the stairs, but this is kept securely locked by 2 doors, has additional soundproofing and is bolted on the guest side, for complete security and reassurance. The small kitchen leads off from the main seating area and has cooking facilities with cooker (oven, grill and hob), microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, fridge and a small dishwasher. We have recently added a new breakfast bar. The downstairs sitting area is light and spacious with patio doors leading out into the garden. There is a smart TV with built in DVD player. We offer a range of DVDs and some games for your use. There is good wi-fi and phone reception throughout the annexe. There is a downstairs bathroom with bath and separate shower. A flight of stairs leads from the sitting room up to the bedroom and en-suite shower room. The bedroom has a cosy sitting alcove and there is also a paperback library here. The bedroom itself has a large picture window with views towards Snowdonia, Caernarfon, the Menai Strait and the Llyn Peninsula. On cooler days, heating is provided by storage heaters. We provide a small welcome pack to provide you with some breakfast basics to set you up on your first day. We also provide 2 pods per day for use in the Nespresso machine, but if you are a bit of a coffee addict, please bring additional pods with you.
We are on a hill in a quiet country lane, but a 5 minute drive (or 20 minute walk) from the village of Newborough with its local facilities (village pub, chip shop, convenience store, curios/gift shop and chiropodist). In addition to the cosy and friendly Red Squirrel cafe in the village, there are also cafes at the transport museum (Tacla Taid) and the model village on the outskirts of town, along with the highly rated Marram Grass restaurant. A little further afield there's a great choice of places to eat to cover all tastes and budgets. Newborough Forest and Beach is a brisk 40 minute walk away (but less than 10 minutes by car). It is also possible to leave your car and go walking straight from our gate, with a selection of walks on public footpaths through lanes and fields (waterproof footwear advised and an OS map is handy). Based in the South West corner of Anglesey, we are the perfect base for heading off in all directions, be it Newborough beach, Beaumaris, Rosneigr, South Stack or even back to Snowdonia on the mainland (several of our guests have used the annexe as a base for visiting Snowdon).

Small double bedroom which is light and airy with a very comfortable bed. There are 2 bedside shelves and a wardrobe with 3 drawers. I can provide you with a small desk & chair for laptop etc. if you require. There are also two more bedrooms available in this property, one single & one double.
Cartref is located in the rural village of Groeslon in a small very quiet cul-de-sac. All 3 guest rooms are newly redecorated, and new carpets fitted August 2019. Guests will have access to most of the property inside and out - it will be your home from home for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. There are also two more bedrooms available in this property, one single & one double.
There are so many places within easy reach from here either by car or bus routes. We are only a mile outside of the National Snowdonia Park. Caernarfon is only a few mins drive where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs etc. and of course the famous Caernarfon castle. Blue Flag awarded Dinas Dinlle beach is less than 10 mins drive, then you also have the choice of many gorgeous beaches on the Llyn Peninsula and many more on Anglesey. Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon where you can catch a train to the peak or walk is approx 20 mins drive as is Bangor, Porthmadog, Pwllheli & Nefyn on the Lleyn Peninsula. Nearest stop on the Welsh Highland Railway is only 3 mins drive or a lovely 30 mins leisurely walk along the Lôn Eifion footpath / cycle track which is a stone's throw away from here. Anglesey Sea World and the world famous Zip Ride and many other places are all within easy reach.
  • Very cozy house and convenient check-in. Everything was very clean and sparkling, kitchen had everything one might need. The only small downside is that the place can get very cold during the winter, make sure to bring a pair of slippers.

    Donatas2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful house near Snowdonia National Park, Caernavon, and the Llyn Peninsula. I used this as a base to explore all of these areas, and it was quite central. I do recommend having a car if you stay here as food shopping, etc is in the next town about 2 miles away. There is a bus that stops at this town, if you are willing to bring your own food. The house is really like a "self-catering" style of AirBnB; Dafydd does not supply meals. Other travelers stay in the house; each bedroom has a key for security. Dafydd did check in daily to make sure all was well.

    Dolores2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • We came to go walking in Snowdonia and needed somewhere comfortable to stay. Dafydd and Anwen’s place was just that, providing a great place to rest after a long day’s walking. Dafydd and Anwen were great at communicating and replied to all of our queries very quickly. I’d definitely recommend their place and would stay again if I was in the area.

  • Perfect if traveling with dogs with room door having direct access to outdoor. Ideal peaceful location, great for exploring Snowdonia. Spotlessly clean and warm welcome.. I hope to return next time I'm in the area.
