The house is situated in a quiet village, on the slope of a mountain. It is ideal for cyclists and for hikers. Also, not to forget, there are decent to very good restaurants not far from the house. We were welcomed by the landlord who showed us the house. The house is comfortable and has sufficient facilities (though no internet) A resommendable pThe houselace to stay for a week.

We did not Emanuele in person as he was travelling but he was always fastly replying when we had a question, and his dad was there to show us around. Emanueles house has everything you will need for a nice stay. There is sun on the terrace most of the day and the kitchen is well equipped. You will definitly need a car to get around as it seems there is hardly public transport and also just very few shops nearby. But this is the magic of this (URL HIDDEN) the nearby river valleys you hardly see another soul. Also the whole area of friaul is very different from rest of italy. We are glad we visited. The big and clean house has a great view over the Province of Udine and Andea is a fantastic host. He showed us unique places to swim and walk, we could also use his bikes. It's an absolutely recommendable house to spend your holidays!

We were greeted very well, and the house is outstanding for its beauty, warmth, cleanliness and size. We found ourselves at home, we could cook a barbecue outside despite the rain and it's a shame we could only stay for one night. Andrea is a very friendly person, helpful and smiling; I highly recommend Podere Cesira for a period of relaxation and to enjoy a splendid view!

Beatrice and Francesco understand it, you like a family member to welcome: A cake on arrival, a lasagna so. You immediately felt comfortable, to the great scenery at the foot of the mountains. I know the area already very well and was very happy about this new perspective. Communication via English and my limited Italian was no problem. An apartment that is the starting point for tours in many beautiful corners ideally suited. Thank you for the hospitality!

Betty is a great hostess! A friendly, warm and helpful person The accommodation was great! Clean, cozy and great! Since we were paragliding there, we have not seen much of the neighborhood, although also the all around was consistent Betty speaks good English so communication is simple possible She greeted us warmly and we baked a cake!

We had the honour to be Beatrice’s very first guests and were spoiled from the beginning to the end of our 2-week‘s stay in her house in Travesio! The holiday home consists of a spacious and well-equipped kitchen/living room and two separate bed rooms, which are all situated on the ground floor with direct access to a huge garden (ideal for families with little children). Beatrice, herself living on the first floor and therefore available and around most of the time, was very helpful in providing practical information and insider tips about cultural (and other) events in the region. She also regularly surprised us with delicious home-made regional and national culinary specialties and made us familiar with the many aspects of what is called “la dolce vita” in Italian. Travesio provides basic shopping facilities and is in very close vicinity to impressive mountain landscapes as well as reasonably close to the Adriatic coast (ca. 75 minutes by car or train). More complete shopping facilities can be found in Spilimbergo (ca. 10 km) or Udine (ca. 30 km). In summary, we had an excellent and very enriching time in Beatrice’s company and recommend her place more than warmly if you are planning to spend a few days or more in the wonderful region Friuli-Venezia-Giulia.

House is really great, nice view, great experience:) I really recommend this place..

House Gilda is worth a visit simply for the view! It is newly built, well equipped and very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and hospitable and Albergo Diffuso is well managed and very helpful. They provided a welcome pack with information about the area and samples of local products. We spent a wonderful three days there and would definitely stay at house Gilda again.

Casa molto bella e completa di tutto. Posto interessante dal punto di vista paesaggistico. Sicuramente un po' fuori mano per alcuni servizi e fin troppo tranquillo, a volte non si vede anima viva per tutto il paese. Essendo in montagna impone l'uso dell'auto ma si ha una splendida vista sul Tagliamento. Vista al pendenza forse non è comodissimo per girare la zona ma si è immersi in un contesto molto gradevole.

Ottima accoglienza, appartamento di recente ristrutturazione, corrispondente alla descrizione, confortevole e con una ricca dotazione. La zona è molto tranquilla, immersa nel verde ed ideale per chi cerca del relax, buona base di partenza per molte escursioni. Giudizio complessivo molto positivo

We absolutely loved our stay with Adriana and her husband (Stefano's parents) in this beautiful house! The house and small village were even more amazing than the listing suggested. It is far off the beaten path, in the mountains and takes lots of winding roads to get there but it's so worth it when you do. I definitely recommend using a GPS to get there as many of the roads, especially in neighboring towns are not well marked. Adriana greeted us when we arrived and we were pleasantly surprised that she spoke English so well. She called over to the local pub to make dinner reservations for us which was an easy walk over. The room, sitting room and bathroom were all very comfortable and nicely decorated. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the quiet and fresh mountain air. The next morning we took a walk around the town and really enjoyed the old water wheel and cold mountain creek that ran through the village. Adriana printed a map with three nearby towns that we might enjoy exploring, which we did but mostly we just enjoyed the picturesque mountain drives with the crystal clear lakes and rivers. The second night, she called and made reservations for us at a pizzeria in nearby Tramonti di Sotto. They were expecting us when we arrived and also knew we did not speak Italian so it was very helpful that she had called ahead for us. One of my favorite things was that Adriana opened up her shop and showed me around even though she wouldn't be ready to open it to the public until July. She does beautiful embroidery work and I purchased several things from her shop. Another was her flower gardens. She walked with my husband and I and told us the names of many of the flowers that were not familiar to us. I don't know if we will ever get to visit the region of the country again as we are from Texas but if we do, I would love to stay in this house again!

We had a lovely stay at the Bed & Breakfast-- truly an amazing old house! The garden is beautiful and downstairs is a large selection of books on plants and gardens, with beautiful pictures. We also had a delightful breakfast and the rooms were very well kept. The surrounding area is beautiful: I especially recommend driving around the Lago di Redona, which has beautiful teal-green water. The area is very charming and we had a great dinner at the nearby restaurant. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

Dear Adriana, Tiziano and Stefano, What a nice time did we have with our children in your B&B. The photo's promised a lot, but the reality is even better. Your hospitality is great, the house warm, beautiful decoraded and clean. The region surprised us also. We had five wonderfull days. Thanx a lot. Adriana was there to welcome us and showed us her wonderful house which is exactly as described in the listing, beautifully situated near the river on the edge of the village of Campone near the Redona Lake. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished in a traditional style that matches the beautiful scenery around. There are a number of beautiful hikes and walks in the area exploring the different valleys and mountain streams. Restaurants and shops are in neighbouring Tramonti di Sotto and Tramonti di Sopra but there his a great bar in Campone which unfortunately is going to close soon.

A truly great location in the Italian Dolomites in a quiet little town. Hosts are very welcoming and helpfull in every way. Can't really find anything negative to say :)

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is charming, rustic and beautiful. We had planned to use it as a base to explore other places but we didn't leave!

The house is located on a hill with a beautiful view. Although it is difficult to drive there (the road is full of turns and is very narrow) the sights were breathtaking. Even though we haven't met Stefano we were received by English speaking people and there was no problem with communication. As for the room it was great and we had plenty of fresh towels to use. We really recommend Stefano
