  • Booked it for a break for my girlfriends birthday, she loved it and so did I. The place is stunning, we could happily just chill there and take advantage of the hot tub and fire. The location is great too, we were able to get out and explore some of the gorgeous surroundings. Would happily go back there and would recommend it to anyone

  • Stunning converted wee pig stye. Lots of privacy and a great place to escape for the weekend. Has everything you could ever need with the dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board, oven, microwave, decent sized fridge, hot tub etc... Location wise it is great too, very close to lots of picturesque villages which are max 20 minutes away. we went to explore Pwllheli, Portmeirion and Abersoch. The host supplied some very good restaurant recommendations and we ended upas Zinc in Abersoch which we would also thoroughly recommend.

  • A wonderful big house all by yourself. You have everything in there including a full kitchen, extra electric heaters in living area and patio. The only thing not so great was a random smell in the rooms which was manageable along with a slow running shower. I recommed this cottage.

  • Highly recommended - great communication, lovely clean and tidy caravan with spacious living area and balcony, in a beautiful site with lots of facilities.

    Janet2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • We have stayed at Hafan y Mor many times as it is a lovely park with great beaches nearby and only an hour from home. This is definitely the best caravan we have ever stayed in on the park. Plenty of room for 2 families with a lovely outside seating area. Spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Wasn’t expecting quilts and pillows to be provided but they were. Tracey was super responsive, we had 1 minor maintenance issue which we didn’t really expect to be fixed over the weekend, but was sorted within an hour. Perfect location right close to the revamped kids’ play area, seconds away from the mini market, sports dome and pub. Also, not too close to the next caravans which they sometimes are. All in all, a 10/10 stay for a family with kids. We’ll definitely try and stay here again next time we’re planning a trip! Thank you Tracey

    Craig2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely delightful place - Mair and David were the perfect hosts. Lots of space, all the amenities you could want, location spot on for my golf tournament at Pwllheli GC and last but by no means least - amazing breakfasts. Thoroughly recommend

    Catrin2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed a lovely stay with Mair and Dave. Excellent hospitality at their lovely cottage which is like a little oasis set in lovely gardens in a quiet spot - yet just a few minutes drive from Pwllheli and within walking distance of the beach. The room and en suite were very comfortable, clean, quiet, and private - lovely. And fantastic breakfasts beautifully presented.

    Alison2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Travellers to Mairs place can expect a warm and personal welcome, the very best breakfast you could wish for, and a really convenient location to explore from. From nice local walks, close proximity to beach's, close to Snowdown and a short walk to one of the best train rides in the country (hop on at Aberech, go to Barmouth). Not to mention their incredible garden which is great for little ones and adults too! Mair and Dave take a lot of pride in offering their guests a great stay, and really look after you.

    Richard2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Expect friendly greeting, hosts who are really interesting, and interested in you. Lovely setting, beautiful garden, first class breakfast after sleeping in very good bed. Highly recommended.

    Estella2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We cant recommend Mair and Dave’s place highly enough. We’ve just returned home from a truly lovely 3 day break. As expected everywhere was sparkly clean. The photos didn’t quite do this lovely home justice, we felt, so we were pleasantly surprised. Mair certainly earns the title of ‘Super host’. Super-duper host we’d say! They couldn’t do enough for us and our dog Dylan. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Llay Peninsula. Lovely walks, sandy beaches, shopping and good food. We hope to return in the future. Thanks again for a memorable break x

    Dianne2019-07-03T00:00:00Z

  • Very clean and cosy with stunning views. Feels secluded and safe with everything you could need in the town centre, just a few minutes away. Despite the heavy wind and rain at night, it felt like a secure and comfortable place to be.

    Helen2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place was extremely clean and well-presented. Ideal for a couple for a short break. Lovely and warm.

    Megan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I, with our 2 dogs, stayed for 2 nights during Storm Dennis. This was a lovely property, tastefully decorated, clean and spotless. We felt very cosy and safe while the storm raged outside. The yard was gated and safe to let the dogs roam for a last wee before bed. Sharon and her husband were very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any messages I sent. There were some lovely personal touches in the house and a few necessities in the fridge for us. Pwllheli town was about a 3 minute walk downhill. The Mitre pub was dog friendly and full of friendly local characters. The station cafe served a cracking breakfast with free bowls of sausages for the pups. The beach was about a 15 minute walk; clean, sandy, very long and great for dog walks (not sure if they are allowed on in summer though). We would definitely stay again.

    Sally2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately I didn’t get to visit due to unforeseen circumstances, but Sharon was kind enough to allow my son and his girlfriend take my place at late notice. They had a lovely evening and really enjoyed their stay. They had everything they needed. Really easy communication throughout. Would recommend.

  • Beautiful cottage, amazing location, perfect host!

    Ryan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was a marvellous opportunity to stay a couple of days in Edna's cottage. A very warm place, as our host's welcome ! Everything we needed for a short stay was yet at our disposal when we arrived : from butter to washing machine's tablets. It was possible to park our car near the house, so we were able to visit Criccieth through walking. It was really perfect.

    Todd2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find. If your looking for a good value self-catering cottage in a picturesque area. This is the one. Edna put some thoughtful touches in, we were greeted by Edna on arrival and also found some lovely Welsh cakes and a bottle of milk waiting for us. This really is a home away from home and will most likely return to the area for a future weekend away.

    Josh2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Edna's place is really cosy, spacious, and with a very well equipped kitchen - we were only there for a couple of nights, but I could well imagine spending a couple of weeks here. The bed is so comfortable that we overslept on the first morning! The Welsh cakes on our arrival were a lovely touch, and Edna popped in to make sure we had everything we needed. It's only a short walk into Criccieth town centre from Edna's cottage, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the area. I can highly recommend this airbnb if you're thinking of visiting Criccieth!

  • This was our first Airbnb experience and we were certainly not disappointed! If you're looking for peace and quiet, in a lovely clean country location this is the place to go. Hardly a soul to be seen, just cattle and chickens, and fresh air. Julie had left us Welsh cakes and eggs which were lovely and there was everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We will certainly be booking again soon. My only complaint was I wish we could have stayed longer.

    Barbara2019-09-12T00:00:00Z

We will be back.

    Anna2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Julie's place! It looked even better than in the photo's (especially the fabulous terrace), was very comfortable, and in practical terms, was probably the most well-equipped holiday cottage we have ever stayed in, as Julie seemed to have thought of everything. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived and Julie made us feel very welcome. We hope to return for another stay.

  • Gorgeous little place. Has everything you need and close to great places like Porthmadog and Criccieth. Hot tub was a bonus on a really rainy day when we retreated back to the cottage.

  • “The Dog” cottage was absolutely perfect. From the quaint wooden beams to warming underfloor heating, everything is covered for a cosy stay in Wales. We also loved the spa. We both had full body massages and used the hot tub, which despite the horrible weather, was fantastic! We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone. The hosts were so attentive and responded so quickly to any of our needs. We also loved Jax! Gorgeous dog!

  • Lovely little cottage, great host and the hot tub was a lovely extra too.

    Gabby2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the Dog House cottage and loved every minute of it! Immaculately kept with exceptionally welcoming hosts, we spent our time in the hot tub, exploring the huge range of castles in North Wales or curled up in front of the fire place. The Cottage itself is cozy yet spacious, easy to warm up with the log fire place and with a comfortable bedroom with en-suite modern bathroom. It is a short walk over to the hot tub but there are changing rooms in the spa if you don’t fancy doing the walk in swim wear. Jax the dog is very friendly and roams the farm looking for friends! We can recommend it enough and look forward to staying again.

  • I was here as a photographer exploring the Llyn Peninsula for a week on a bit of a budget and I couldn't have been happier with my stay. It's situated in a great location. Photographing surfing and mountain landscapes they were both on my door step. Superb hosting from Megan, a lovely woman who has lived in the area most of her life. She is just great, full of stories and advice on where to go. Highly recommended.

    Stewart2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended. Nice and clean house. Beautiful scenic view from the rooms. Specially the grandmother was so kind and helpful. I would not book any other place in snowdonia than this house.

    Syed2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect place to stay. Even better than my comfy huge room was my host Megan; the matriarch of the area. Like other guests I fell in love with her and hope to see her again. Many Thanks Megan and Owen for a super stay.

  • Megan was lovely and was an unobtrusive yet present host. The house is in a lovely part of Wales and, if you don't mind being away from the busy areas around Caernarfon and Abersoch, then this is just great, especially for the price.

Stay warm and cosy inside a renovated stone cottage by adding logs to a wood-burning stove. Snuggle up with a book or board game. Discover a romantic bedroom under the exposed beams of a peaked roof, then ramble in open countryside after breakfast.
The cottage is close to lovely beaches, Criccieth Castle, cafes, and restaurants. Visit Snowdonia National Park, Portmeirion, and take a steam train to see heart-stopping scenery. Go cycling, golfing, and clay pigeon shooting in this part of Wales.
  • From the get go, Maureen was a great Host. Communication between us was spot on. She provided clear instructions how to get to the cottage due to it being located in the middle of nowhere. Upon arrival, Maureen greeted us and made us feel very welcome; she even lit the fire for us! The cottage itself is a true countryside gem with beautiful surroundings, it was very clean, very cosy and had everything that we needed for our short stay.

    Diane2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Just wow. This place is a blessing and we will be returning. Located down a remote country lane, surrounded by Welsh fields, this tiny cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. I immediately felt some stress rise off my shoulders when I stepped inside, I am not kidding. External ambience: private, super quiet, lovely dark nights (can see stars), views of fields. There is a bird feeder right outside the property so we spent happy hours observing all the various birds including an impressive pheasant and his two lady friends. Parking right next to property so easy to load. Hosts: just lovely. Both came out to greet us, so friendly and kind. But otherwise, very respectful of our privacy. We didn't see them at all during the stay (but knew exactly where they were if we needed them) so felt very secluded. Amenities: kitchen well stocked with all the necessary utensils and cooking equipment, easy to cook in this kitchen. Maureen left out biscuits and eggs, and a small jug of milk, for our arrival. Soaps. Towels lovely. Internal ambience: modern country decor, lovely wood stove which kept the place super warm, snug, cosy, clean (my neat-freak was very content). Shower (no bath) with an eco-electric shower unit. Not a spot of mould in the bathroom, which shows how well-cared-for this place is. All in all, top marks.

    Uyen2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage to escape for some quiet and relaxation! Great location - with access to both the Llyn peninsula coast and beaches as well as the beautiful Snowdonia. Maureen was a great host and we had a lovely time.

  • The coach house was really cozy and perfect for 2 persons. It's a very snug and comfortable little house, all amenities are available. The fireplace is amazing and everything is there for a relaxed getaway. Maureen is lovely and was very relaxed in communicating and while we stayed over we felt very welcome.

    Danielle2019-12-09T00:00:00Z

  • This is a family run property that has been refurbished in the last 18 months. The location in North Wales is great. It sits on a farm with wonderful views of the sea from the home and the modern hot tub, which is located outside and is lovely to sit in and look at the stars. The place is clean and tidy and the owners are very friendly.

  • Our stay was wonderful, we had booked the cottage for my partner’s birthday for five adults and a two month old baby, all the rooms were extremely comfortable and the living kitchen area was cosy and stylish. The owners were extremely hospitable and weren’t far if we needed anything. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

  • Beautiful location (amazing view of the sea). Lovely host and beautiful barn.

    Emily2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Myself and my friends had a great stay at Sgubor cottage. The cottage was spotless, had everything we needed and was lovely and spacious for 6 of us. Arwel was a brilliant host who went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly which we’re very appreciative of. The hot tub was a wonderful addition even in cold weather conditions and was extremely easy to use, made even better by the gorgeous sea view. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

  • Great little caravan to use as a base when visiting the Llyn peninsula. Sarah was really friendly and met us on arrival. She was very accomodating. It was a bit of a heatwave when we were there and she was kind enough to bring us a cool box over with a bag of ice and some nice lollies which was very thoughtful. Thank you for a lovely stay. Recommend visiting the Welsh heritage railway in porthmadog if you have any train enthusiasts. Our 3 year old had a fantastic day 😊

The local area is very quaint and idyllic (the restaurants in the local area aren't that great but the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen). I'm already preparing to book my next trip!

Small wood-burning stove. Comfy bed. Decking area for relaxing after a day's adventure in Gwynedd. Towns of Pwllheli + Cricieth only 5 minutes away
Stay in a peaceful garden of a Medieval Hall in a stunning location in north Wales.
We are located in a tranquil location on a quiet country lane. The coastal pathway is nearby as is the main town of the Llŷn Peninsula (Pwllheli). The locality is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. A quiet beach is within walking distance.
  • We arrived in torrential rain late on the Friday evening and Caren, very kindly, came out to meet us and help us get settled with a torch in the rain! The hut is a perfect little escape from busy normal life. We loved being able to digitally detox, wake up on a morning, swing the door open and listen to the birds sing. We've already recommended this place to a couple of friends.

    Ces2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Em and I had a great time, a cool place for some much needed ‘ymlacio’ (relaxing). On the Saturday we did a road bike circuit of the Lleyn and had an explore of the Hall in the grounds. On Sunday we did the touristy tour of Criccieth castle and PorthMadog including the maritime museum. Raining on Sunday evening so we just stoked the log burner, picked some fruit in the orchard, had a beer and some tea. Thanks Gwyn, brilliant weekend!

    Carl2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in this lovely remote and cosy hut near Pwllheli. It was perfect location to get to everywhere on the Lynn peninsula. We spent a day exploring the north beaches which all gorgeous. The hut itself was so nice and cosy and it had everything we needed. It was well laid out. There was a helpful guide to the area as well as a book of wild places to visit including many beaches we visited. The owners left fresh eggs from their chickens, milk and welsh cakes which was a lovely touch. Could not recommend more if you want to stay somewhere remote but close to everything. We will definitely be back to explore more of Wales!

    Josie2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fabulous place in a lovely part of the world. The Hut although small is snug and very clean and the area around is fantastic. Very much recommended as a holiday destination and this is a great place to stay..the hosts (Gwyn and Caren) are very hospitable, friendly and informative with plenty of tips for places to go. The hut is set in a quiet garden area with apple and damson trees (and very inquisitive hens) and on clear nights an amazing array of stars. We arrived to find fresh eggs, welsh cakes, milk and butter and the kitchen is well stocked. The stove is very effective and the kindling and firewood plentiful. All in all a great place to stay and great hosts. The manor house is small but very interesting. Warmly recommended.

  • The most amazing Airbnb you can find right in the centre of all the beautiful places of North Wales. A very lovely tiny house with everything you need: a good bed, kitchen and a great shower and toilet as well! It is actually quite spacious for a tiny house and put together very well. A lot of privacy with an own patio and garden where we've spent nice evenings sitting and relaxing at the table. You can even use the bbq or make a campfire. The rural atmosphere with the chicken's, horses and very friendly dogs makes it a place where you can find peace and relaxation. The ultimate writer's retreat and very romantic and cosy for couples! Gwyn is extremely friendly and helpful. She provided us a great breakfast and good recommendations. Highly recommended!!

    Fabiana2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Gwyn and Caren’s place is absolutely perfect for a quiet place to get away. It’s beautifully located, so peaceful and very very comfortable!

    Rhiannon2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • In the grounds of a medieval hall, this is a retreat worth visiting to relax from everyday busy lifestyle. Upon arrival Gwyn greeted us and showed us to our hut, a lovely outside space in the sunshine until late into the evening too. The mini fridge was stocked with fresh eggs, a jug of milk and some butter to go with the welsh cakes which were delicious. The dogs and chickens are friendly but due to my phobia of chickens these were put into their pen which was appreciated. It was well worth the money to stay here and I would recommend to anyone wanting to fully relax and stay somewhere different

  • Edna has a lovely place in Criccieth. She is a considerate host and we would have no hesitation in recommending her place to others. We stayed in her caravan with our kids for 4 weeks. The patio area looking down on Criccieth Castle with a view out across the sea was particularly enjoyable, especially with a morning coffee. We found the smell in the bedroom that others mentioned got much better during the time that we were there and when we left was barely noticeable. Our kids loved playing with Edna’s granddaughter, when she visited. The local children that play in the park up the road were also very friendly and polite. Our children were invited to join in playing football a few times. Although the garden photos are a couple of years old and it’s matured since along with a new caravan sited just beyond the fenceline, it remains a decent sized space with ample room for the kids to play. We can recommend this place to stay without hesitation.

    Paul2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • We have stayed at Edna's before, the location is fantastic and has off road parking. Edna goes the extra mile with several personal touches that enhance the experience. Both the house and the caravan are well kept and have everything needed to be independant. We look forward to a further visit in the future. Thank you.

This is a clean spacious property. With all the basic facilities. There is a large conservatory and extensive fully enclosed garden making it ideal for family groups and pets. Within easy walking distance of the popular coastal town of Criccieth, either along a tarmac footpath or along the beach. The property is surrounded by green fields and sits about 1000 yards back from the sea front Due to events outside of our control it will no longer be possible to provide towels and bedding .
  • Fabulous house with bags of character, all the things you could need to be comfortable and cosy. The photos don’t do the room sizes justice...so much bigger than we thought! The road outside is quite busy but doesn’t affect stay or the charm of the house and gardens. Great location being just a few minutes from Criccieth with its castle, beaches and shops! Thank you John for being a truly lovely host!

    Natalie2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice place to stay. Was lovely and clean and with good amenities. The house is set off a busy A road but the garden is secure and our 2 dogs loved investigating it. The beach is only a 10 min walk down the footpath and was quite secluded. We watched a seal swimming along the shoreline too. Would recommend staying here as it’s good value.

  • We had lovely 5 nights at Plas Emu cottage during half term week. Cottage is well situated near beach and beautiful Criccieth village.(10 min walk to village by road, bit longer by beach) Everything was clean and kitchen was well equipped. Cottage heated up very fast as this time a year we needed to put heating on in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and overall cottage was very cosy. Garden was big and it is advantage as we had our dog with us and she could have good run around as did children !! John was very helpful host, if we had any questions just email him and he got back to you. We are definitely coming back , hopefully soon . There is lot to explore! Thanks !

The project to convert the Pigsty in 2016 kept us busy to say the least but we're very happy with the way it turned out! The pigsty is perfect for couples and is dog friendly. Heated by a huge 12KW wood burning stove with a modern bathroom and kitchen, satellite TV, DVD player and in-ceiling speakers, oh and there's limited wi-fi if the wind is blowing in the right direction!
Converted pigsty, really is different to anything else you'll come across!
    Very rural area.
  • Very cosy when you get the wood burner going. Quiet location not too far from any of the beaches. Enjoyed our short break very much.

    Gwyn2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay and the cottage was really nice!

    Lowri2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Pigsty is a lovely place to get away from everything! Perfect for 2 with enough room for a dog too. The log burner heats the place up nicely but comfy warm pyjamas for the next morning definitely come in handy. We felt like we’d completely gotten away from everything even though the location is great being only a short drive to the coast in pretty much all directions for some lovely walks. We had the best little weekend get away so thank you!

    Kate2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic. Gorgeous space and area and surrounds was stunning - highly recommend.

    Amanda2020-01-21T00:00:00Z

    Lisa2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely stay at the Pigsty. A beautiful location and close to everywhere we wanted to explore. Was nice and cosy with the log-burner. Would stay again.

    Katy2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, plenty of power in the fire to heat the whole space. Easy to find! Thanks

  • We had a lovely stay at the Pigsty, lovely views and surroundings. Very cold, but to be expected around this time of year - the log burner was great to use! Pryderi was really helpful with directions and we appreciated the local brochures and walking tips. Ideal stay for a peaceful break!

Attached to our family home in a quiet village just a mile from the beautiful town of Criccieth. Enjoying far reaching views across Tremadog bay to Harlech, Barmouth and the Rhinogydd mountain range. The holiday towns of Pwllheli and Porthmadog are each only 7 miles away and we are under a mile from the coastal path. The accommodation has limited mobile phone reception but does now have WiFi.
Our accommodation is both snug and spacious with open plan living space and crog loft sleeping area. Equipped with a small TV with DVD player and free view and a CD player / digital radio, there are also old school board games for those wishing to get away from it all. The kitchen and shower room are equipped with all we think you will need and anything else we should be able to find for you.
Llanystumdwy village is home to the Lloyd George museum and grave, it also has one of the most beautiful river walks of the area along Afon Dwyfor. There is a village pub at the bottom of the hill which at present opens Thursday to Sunday only however Criccieth offers a variety of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes, special mention to the numerous tea shops and outstanding local bakery. Porthmadog is home to the famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways and the Italianate village of Portmeirion, home to Festival Number 6, is just 9 miles away. We are ideally situated for days out to Anglesey, the Llyn Peninsula and obviously the magical mountains of Snowdonia. Popular local activities include Zip World (adventures underground, through the trees or hurtling through the air), Surf Snowdonia, Stand Up Paddle-boarding, as well as a variety of golf courses to suit all standards.
  • Great cozy little home with all the facilities you need to escape the weather but also get out and about to make the most of the amazing surrounding area. Beth was a great host and the home was full of nice touches.

    Harry2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn’t recommend this place more. It has everything you’ll need for a short or long stay. The apartment itself has so much character and is in a great location to go and explore Wales. Highly highly recommended!

    Ashley2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, clean and well supplied little hideaway on the Llyn Peninsula, perfect for walking and minutes from lovely beaches. Beth was really helpful and the space was lovely and cosy, even though we stayed in December. Really great value for money.

    Susan2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • A cosy places idea for couples

    Kate2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place in a nice location.

    Greg2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beth is a great host for this little stay in an amazing corner of the country. Not too far from large amenities like a Tesco superstore, but out the way enough for it to be a great quiet getaway. We used it as a base for trekking in Snowdonia national park, only about a 25 minute drive to Snowdonia or 35 minutes to Tryfan so extremely accessible. Definitely worth consideration for a long weekend away in the countryside.

    Stewart2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, near good beach for dog walks

    Dane2019-10-20T00:00:00Z

Pine lodge has recently been fully refurbished inside. Bringing the interior up to date with a modern homely feel. The lodge has a lovely decking area where the every changing view can be enjoyed. Located within Hafan Y Mor holiday park the lodge is situated within a quiet area of the park. Pine lodge is only a short walk to the site facilities. The lodge has amazing views across the bay towards Snowdonia and Criccieth Castle and amazing access to the beach and paths.
The lodge has a great open plan, living dining area. There are 2 bed rooms, one double room and one twin room. The living area has a sofa bed for extra guests.. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you’ll need during your stay, including a Nespresso machine. Travel cot and booster/high chair are provided. 32” TV with Blu Ray. There is also a selection of books and children’s toys.
Hafan Y Mor has brilliant facilities including huge pool area with slides, wave pool, lazy river, seating area and baby pool. Crazy golf, go karting, zip wire and high wire, donkey rides, water walkers, pedalos, bike and kart hire, roller disco, gym. Haven have recently invested in a new restaurant, pizza pit, Cakery, sand pit and climbing area which are all just a short walk from lodge. There is also a beautiful coastal path which leads to some amazing beaches along the coast. There is a lovely 6 mile costal path to Pwllheli. Many people walk there and catch a bus back to the park. Some of these activities are free and some of them cost a few pounds. You can purchase passes direct from Haven which includes a certain amount of free activities and free evening entertainment and swimming.
  • Jessica's lodge is amazing!! We will be coming back next year 100%. Perfect for families with young children there is lots of toys, two travel cots, high chair, kids plates, kids cutlery and the heaters were fantastic. Heated the room up instantly - our 5 month old was very cosy! Even our 7 year old loved the kids toys and DVD's! Only thing I would say needs improving is a bit more lighting round the pathway into the caravan as it is quite hard to see in the dark. Other than that, 10/10!! 😁😁xx

    Jess2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica’s place is in a lovely location, overlooking the Llyn Peninsula. The lodge is fitted out with all you would need, including a handy dishwasher. As mentioned previously, the lodge could benefit from a little TLC outside.

    Kristian2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. The accommodation was perfect and exactly what we wished for. All the little extra touches were fab especially with having an 18 month baby with us. She loved the games and books. We spent the evenings sitting on the balcony playing board games and enjoying the view; whilst having a bbq. The caravan was stocked with everything we needed; kitchen accessories etc. We will defo visit again soon. The location was perfect and we enjoyed exploring the area and walking along the coastal paths. Easy access to a number of towns and beaches. This Has nothing to do with the host but I want to let people know that we did go to the new pizza parlour on site one evening and had to leave as the service was extremely slow and a number of people were complaining and walking out; we then decided to order pizzas from papa johns (this was very slow and took nearly over an hour for our pizzas to be ready but they were worth the wait). Once again thank you so much! It truly was fantastic 🤩 and highly recommended we wished we could have stayed longer.

  • A comfortable cabin with a wonderful view of the bay, close to the coastal path to get to the beach, and a bit away from the other amenities. We enjoyed the beach, also a visit to Greenwood Forest Park - an amazing eco park. We all enjoyed our first visit to Lleyn Peninsula.

    Cathy2019-05-31T00:00:00Z

My place is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the ambiance, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
Cegin Foch is the smallest of our 3 holiday cottages and sleeps 4, and is ideal for families, couples or friends, with a king sized bed in the galleried bedroom overlooking the inglenook fireplace and a very relaxing and cosy living area .The twin bedroom is situated on the ground floor next to the family bathroom, which consists of toilet basin shower over the bath and shaver point. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped and has a table 4 chairs with ample room for a high chair, and has a view over open fields towards the sea.The living room with its inglenook fireplace 3 seater sofa and armchair is a very tranquil, relaxing feel, it also has a coffee table and a free view television. Outside is a patio area partly overlooks the communal garden/play area and partly open fields with picnic table and is fully enclosed with a stone wall is a sun trap and has sun late into the evening.Parking is next to cottage where there is an outside tap very useful for walkers sailors cyclist or to clean muddy paws.
  • Lovely and secluded, without being too far away from great places to visit. The hot tub went down a storm. Overall, it’s spot on for the money.

    David2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy cottage and fantastic hosts. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the hot tub was just what was needed after a long day of exploring!

    Daniel2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy yet modern cottage in a great location. The place is really quiet and peaceful but still near enough to nearby towns, beach and places of interest if you want to do a bit of exploring or have a nice meal or drink out. The cottage is bright and airy and lovely and warm (essential if you have little kids like us). The kitchen was also well stocked with pans, utensils and essential cooking equipment. The beds were really comfortable and the towels lovely and soft. Hot tub was great - the rain and wind didn’t stop us getting in! We didn’t get chance to make use of the communal garden areas because the weather was pretty bad but we’d definitely like to return in summer and do a bit more exploring.

    Caroline2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautiful and the views are outstanding. Very welcoming host. 30-40 minute walk to the beach which was lovely and added to the experience. A perfect place for all. We're hoping to come back with the family and book the other cottages in the future. Thank you.

The owners are lovely and so helpful and friendly! Really make you feel at home. Hot tub was fab! Recommended to our friends already. Would return! Thank you!

  • Absolutely beautiful little cottage with a stunning view. Very tidy and clean and presentable when we got there. Really did feel like a home away from home! The hot tub was an added bonus that I wish we had more time to use!

  • Fabulous cozy cottage with everything you could possibly need. Great location and great host.

    Paul2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Cegin Foch! The layout was perfect for our family of four with a separate, spacious twin room for the kids and a large mezzanine bedroom above the lovely lounge / kitchen. We will have to return to make the most of the views from the bedroom window as the weather was a little unfavourable on our trip! The hot tub was a huge hit and a real treat. Arwel’s hospitality was second to none and the host’s obvious high standards will make Cefn Coed a success for many years to come I’m sure. Thank you Arwel and Sioned!

  • We stayed for just over a week and had a delightful time. Maggie and Dave were great hosts, very open and helpful offering local advice and chatting with us but also giving us our space. They even organised a little shared meal for NYE which was a treat!

  • An excellent location for exploring the area. Where else could you swim in the sea one day and be on top of a mountain the next! Maggie and David were great hosts and the local tips were very helpful in making the most of a short break. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the accommodation was very good value.

Our Horse Box has been lovingly converted into an amazing glamping experience that you'll never forget; we believe she's amazing. The views of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula are second to none. Sit outside, star gazing in front of your very own fire pit and watch the sun go down, we also provide a BBQ and a picnic table. Sleeps 4; one double above the "cab" and the sofa forms a small double. There's a kitchen, a shower, a composting toilet and a 60" projector for streaming movies or music.
There's nothing like this space - it really is unique! We converted a horse box into an amazing space that sleeps up to 4 people. Our Horse Box has been lovingly converted into an amazing glamping experience like nothing else! Not only is the horse box amazing and finished to an extremely high standard the views from here are second to none. Sit outside, star gazing or in front of your very own fire pit and watch the sun go down over Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. Gaze at the stars in front of a campfire, relaxing, cooking and appreciating the countryside around you. Outside the horse box you'll find a decked area, a picnic table, fire pit as well as a BBQ; everything that you'd need to get Away From It All. The horse box sleeps 4; one small double above the "cab" and the sofa pulls down to form a small double. The lorry is therefore perfect for couples or small families. In addition there's a small kitchen in the lorry and a shower and the toilet is in front of the lorry on the outside. Unwind in front of the 60 inch projector at night, streaming your favourite movies from your phone or ipad into the projector or simply listen to the radio or your favourite album on the Bluetooth speakers that are built into the lorry. There's a woodburner as well, make a cosy fire on those nights where the sun doesn't come out, oh and we provide the first nights fire wood.
The views, location and this experience will be unbelievable!
  • We had a lovely time staying in the horse box! The location was amazing and the evenings were so cosy with the fire! The only problem we had was with the water pump which seemed to kill the battery straight away and meant no water for showers. Other than that it was a perfect stay!

  • Location is INCREDIBLE!! Directions to the place and any correspondence with the owners was great The horse box itself is so cosy, the view out and over is awesome and just a very good stay. Super clean, nice amenities

  • Fantastic weekend away with my husband. Detailed directions and lovely location. Such a unique place to stay and would highly recommend. Nice shower and cooking facilities and lovely little wood burner inside which was fab as it did get quite cold. We made good use of the outdoor fire pit and on one evening we had fish and chips by the fire on the picnic table watching the sunset, such beautiful views. We were a little worried about the electricity as the box was powered by solar panels but we had no problems at all and didn’t need to keep an eye on the power used. The bed is a little bit awkward to get to but it was an experience! Thank you so much!

  • Absolutely great place. Views are amazing and the horsebox is really cosy

  • Great little getaway in a remote location, only problem was welsh rain! But the place was cosy when the log burner was running!

    Josh2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Would definitely go back to this place amazing views

  • Great weekend in the horsebox ....what makes this place special are those views... incredible!!! The box itself is perfect for a weekend ...it might be small but it has everything you need. We had an Issue with the water but pryderi was there to sort it straight away . The projector and the log burner are great touches . It does get cold in there so make sure you take enough blankets and warm clothes . The toilet takes some getting use to and might not be for everyone . We left the cool box on over night and within 4 hours we seemed to use the electric so be warned and don’t use if not required . The road to the box is a bit rough but perfectly adequate to get to the box . We encountered some big cows on the way back one night but a beep got them out the way . The box has nothing round it so perfect for a peaceful stay ...you could literally see every star in the sky on a clear night because there’s no light pollution . The shower was great and nice and warm . Tea and coffee were provided and everything needed to get you started . Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again ...enjoy the peace !
