Yarrabee Retreat is a cosy, modern, freshly renovated space (55m2) situated on our 2 and a half acres, framed by gum trees and with abundant wildlife. Yarrabee means "many gum trees", and is only five mins drive to Clare. An easy 5 mins walk to Clare Valley Cycle Hire and a leisurely stroll to local wineries. A bright open plan living area, with the kitchenette equipped with a single burner induction hob and microwave. The space is perfect for two, ok for three, but a little cosy for four😁

Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

Tickles Cottage was built in 1850 by the cornish miners and is adjacent to Peppertree Cottage in a beautiful Rural Setting. Cottages can be booked together or separately. Only 2 kms south of the historical township of Mintaro in the beautiful Clare Valley .Walking distance to Martindale Hall and Mintaro Maze. Mintaro has the best country pub for lunches or dinners. Historical Burra is only a half an hour to the mining town. Clare Valley has excellent wineries and the Reisling trail to explore

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.
