Peggy and Dick made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They are the kindest, most gracious hosts. I couldn't possibly have wished for more. Everything from the comfortable, unique living space to fall asleep in to waking up to homemade muffins for breakfast made this an experience we'll never forget. As we drove away on our final day, my son said, "they were really beautiful people." Beautiful indeed! :)

Peggy and Dick were very welcoming hosts and made us feel right at home. Their house is an updated 1830s farm home that sits on a beautiful and partially wooded five-acre parcel. Very quiet and secluded spot. They are active in local organizations and are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Fredonia/Port Washington/Cedarburg area. Great stay. Highly recommended.

Listed as pet-friendly and noted in the reservation, we showed up with dogs and about 10 mins later I receive a call from Ryan who was upset that pets were on premise after being notified by the neighbors. Ryan was unaware that the post was listed as pet-friendly and did not see in the reservation that we were bringing pets. I reassured him that this was properly indicated; however, given his concern I offered to cancel. After checking everything out himself he decided to accommodate the pets and let us stay. Needless to say, the situation could have been easily avoided if the post and reservation had been reviewed in their entirety. Overall the place was beautiful and location even better but given how Ryan handled the situation we will not be staying here again.

This home is perfect for those wanting a quiet, right on the lake, surrounded by nature getaway. It was EXACTLY what I was hoping for and more. We not only relaxed by the lake, but we explored the area and visited a beautiful state park and some small towns. You can easily get up to Sheboygan too if it is in your plans. The pictures are good, but being there was even better!

This was exactly as pictured. We absolutely loved it. Main room was spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms were comfortable and baths were very nice. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely come back if able.

Great location! We had 7 guys stay here for a golf trip to Kholer. 20 min from downtown Sheboygan and Blackwolf Run and 30 min from Whistling Straits. The good: The house has a nice living room area for everyone to gather. Right on the beach so awesome views and lots of options to have fun in the back yard. The bad: Musty smell throughout the house that you get used to after a while. Outdated furniture and appliances. Overall, if you're not too picky then I would recommend for an all guys trip.

Excellent experience at the Seagull Lodge. The lodge was exactly as listed, very private and with an expansive beach. The only drawback was that the water had a strong sulfur smell, but the listing was clean, well stocked, and the hosts were easy to get in contact with. Overall, recommend.

Really could not have been more pleased with this adorable cottage. Four of us with our dogs in tow needed a quiet escape from the city and found it in this beautiful property. It shares a street with other homes, but we felt totally secluded the whole weekend. The house has gorgeous views of the lake from almost every room and the kitchen was fully equipped for us to make some delicious meals. We played games, worked on a puzzle, and enjoyed the local beer and gift basket from the hosts. All in all we had a perfect vacation. Can't wait to come back!

Trapper was a great host and the cottage was everything you could ask for in an Airbnb. The setting is incredible- very removed from it all, you have your own personal beach on Lake Michigan and a fire pit by the water. Trapper was responsive throughout the process and had a contact on the ground in WI to help out with logistics and last minute requests. Would recommend the cottage wholeheartedly and hope to get back there next year. Thanks Trapper.

This was the best getaway I could've imagined. Everything was as advertised or better. The house was perfectly located and every detail was arranged to make us feel welcomed and at home. I'd definitely recommend it for a couple, or even a larger group, as there is plenty of room. We'll be back for sure!

The house looked pretty nice from the posted photos on the website, however to our surprise, it was bigger and more beautiful. Every day grilling, bon fire on the beach, huge game room in the basement, comfort of a cozy home away from home, and the beautiful lake view from every room are just a few to mention! Most of all the hospitality and the communication between Louise/Trapper and us, before and after our stay, was so perfect. We will be back soon. Loved it at this cottage. One of the best Airbnb experience! Go for it, Enjoy and treat it as your own place, as you would want to go back there again and again :-)

There was a six-pack of Spotted Cow in the refrigerator and a goodie basket waiting for us when we arrived. The house is much larger than we anticipated, and our kids loved having the second floor to themselves. It was too cold and windy for us to enjoy the lake, so we lit a fire in the fireplace and snuggled up inside for a relaxing weekend of listening to the waves crash on the beach.

Jen was more than helpful, responding quickly to all of my messages and offering suggestions for where to eat and places to go. The upstairs quarters were simple, clean and cozy, and perfect for kids!

Jen made us feel welcome from the moment we started communicating. The space listed on the site would not work for our family, so she made adjustments so that it would. She anticipated our needs and had everything available that we needed. She provided a wonderful breakfast, good coffee,great advice about where to visit in Port Washington and delightful conversation. The house is in a comfortable, well-established neighborhood, well within walking distance of the downtown area. It is an older home that is clean and comfortable. It is not luxurious or fancy, but simple and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay in Port Washington. Jen was a fantastic host. She made everything extremely smooth, communicated well, and the house was great too! We had 5 of us staying, and having lots of room was fantastic! My two young boys and I loved having all the space to spread out in. They also loved the mini trampoline to jump on! (sorry Jen, hopefully that wasn't heard in the rest of the house!!!). The house was very clean and the breakfast / coffee was spot on! Thanks, Matt

Jen was above and beyond wonderful to work with! I had some high maintenance needs with my out of country guests and she lightened my load big time by being so accommodating! She was easy to get ahold of for my random questions. She made me and my group of guests feel super welcome and taken care of. Jen's home is clean and absolutely adorable! Great location... quiet town but near to just about anything one would need. I will most certainly be using her again in the future!

I had a great stay at Lauries! I am going through a tough time right now in my personal life and I felt very free to come and go as I please. She was gracious enough to offer to have a meal with her and her boyfriend. Even so I did not accept the offer it did make me feel as if I were in the right place with good people! I thank her very much!

Laurie is a very generous host and made us feel right at home. The house is beautiful, the rec room has a pool table with a fridge and bar, and the patio is a great place to relax with a drink after work. But the best part was getting to play with her dog Fletcher who is the awesomest.
