House holiday rentals in Ruffec

We had a pleasant stay of 2 nights in this tiny house. The location, quiet, is ideally located 15 min drive from Futuroscope. The hosts are attentive and considerate (breakfast with fresh baguette in the morning and poitevin cakes). We will come back without hesitation if we come back to Poitiers.

Great stay... house very suitable for families/children! Very nice place for swimming and activities by the river near the house. We missed the pool (available only in July/August) and a little shade because it was very hot! But we had a great time...

A very nice and functional cottage on an idyllic island. "An enchanted break". Aline is an available and considerate hostess.

Great host. Anything needed and she helped. You stay in a small gite in her garden area at the back of her house. Has dishwasher nice shower and patio area. Bedrooms are in a loft room but comfortable. Overall a nice quiet peaceful place to stay to explore the area.

Debbie’s place was amazing, meticulously clean and well equiped. The swimming pool area and private loggia was fantastic. Debbie offered heaps of advice on local restaurants and sightseeing and nothing was too much trouble for her she was there to help with even the smallest request She was a wonderful host and a stay is highly recommended

We had a great stay. Christie and Jean-Marc are very friendly, helpful and hospitable, they made us feel at home straight away. The gite has all the comforts, is very clean and well equipped. Being able to use the nice size pool is a plus. Great location close to all amenities and a beautiful chateau. We will be back.

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

Superbly tranquil location in lovely countryside. Very spacious accomodation and lovely garden.

We had a pleasant stay (3 nights) in the cottage "Chez Théophile" with our 4 and a half year old daughter. This cottage has been converted into a beautifully renovated and decorated old stone house. It is located in a small hamlet in the countryside, very peaceful, and ideally located close to places of interest such as the "La Vallée des Singes" animal park. We particularly appreciated the warm welcome we received from Aurélie, the owner of the property, who ensured our well-being throughout our stay.

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

Everything matched the photos and descriptions. Very welcoming English couple. Beautiful renovation and spacious. Not to mention the very nice decoration. I highly recommend it. only negative point, the bedding is average and the cottage is attached to the owners' home

La Cloche's cottage was very largely up to the description, and our expectation. We also really enjoyed the terrace with views of a very flowery place. Everything was perfect, and it is with great pleasure that we will return. Claude Jacoux
