Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rothbury

Thia house was in a nice location with a lovely outlook from the kitchen. It was perfect for 4 couples. Very well appointed and roomy.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot at Broke over the long weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt extremely spacious for the 5 of us, plus our family dog. Located in Broke, the property feels private and secluded, yet only a short drive away from some amazing wineries. Steve and Jen were also very responsive hosts, answering all our questions promptly and providing clear instructions for check in/ out. We would highly recommend Barefoot at Broke for a small group getaway - we had an amazing time!

Gorgeous property with ample room and beds to cater to our group. Hosts were always on hand for any additional questions. Property had a gorgeous fireplace which was just lovely to cosy around in the evening with a glass of wine. Looking forward to staying again!

My partner and I stayed at Anne Marie’s place for the weekend, and it was truly a beautiful experience from start to finish. The space was thoughtfully and tastefully curated, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The bathroom was incredible — spacious, with two shower heads and a luxurious bathtub that felt like a private spa. The kitchen and living area were just as stunning, and everything was spotless and exactly as pictured in the listing. What made our stay even more special were the little touches: snacks on arrival, a fridge stocked with ingredients for breakfast, and most of all, the amazing hospitality. Anne Marie and the hosts were so accommodating and really went out of their way to cater to our needs, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. It was a special weekend for us, and staying in such a beautiful, well-looked-after place made it all the more memorable. Highly, highly recommend!

Our stay at Bella Vista was pure heaven. It’s been 10 days since we left and every day we have reminisced, scrolled through photos and contemplated when we can visit again! My son said today ‘I don’t want to go to school, why can’t we just live at Bella Vista!!’ This place was perfect for a family getaway. It was spacious, luxurious, peaceful and had everything we needed. The view is incredible. We can’t wait to go back.

Wow, just wow. Trent’s place is simply stunning. The photos do not it justice (even though the photos are beautiful too!!!). We had the pleasure of surprising our Mum with a trip to the Hunter and it was the perfect location. Waking up to hot air balloons, kangaroos and a gorgeous olive grove was more than we could have ever asked for. Also - the kitchen is to die for!!! We loved cooking breakfast and dinner at home. We are already looking to book again in January to experience a summer in the Hunter! Thanks for everything Trent.

We had a lovely stay at Lexy and Dean’s sweet historic cottage. Everything from the check-in communication to the details inside the home was immaculate. Close to amenities and short drive to hunter valley, we couldn’t have asked for more. The fireplace and hot tub was an icing to the cake making our getaway even more memorable :)

Had a fantastic stay at Courtney & Jade’s place — stylish, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. They were wonderful hosts and made everything smooth and welcoming from start to finish.

We had a wonderful time staying at Alison's place in Bar Beach. The location is amazing so close to the beach and Darby St, and the apartment is huge with lots of space to spread out and relax. I only wish we had stayed there longer to really make the most of it!

Beautiful waterfront houses. Spacious areas suitable for large group. Full Kitchen amenities available. We had a great time here and would recommend to my friends.

We loved the Bond House apartment. Despite the unusual access across the park it was well worth it once inside. Eclectic stylishly furnished spacious apartment well located for East Newcastle. A well stocked larder and great laundry space if you need it. Bathrooms very modern with heated towel rails and big fluffy towels! Beds very comfy too

My friends and I had a lovely time at Nikki’s home. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out over the resort. Perfect location to visit wineries in the area!

Matt the host was very hospitable. One minute walk to the gorgeous Deck Cafe (with delicious coffee and food) / farm animal enclosure (with cute little llamas), and wine tasting. So much to see and do in the area by car or e-bike. My new favourite country escape! will be back x

We really enjoyed our weekend at this apartment – it had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. The decor was modern and cosy, and the place was super clean. We loved how close it was to the Honeysuckle foreshore and Darby Street – perfect for dinners and a morning coffee run. The rooftop area was a lovely bonus too. The host made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Would happily come back next time we're in Newcastle!

Wow! What a stay. Host was incredibly fast to reply to messages and so friendly. We had the most amazing stay at this property, every room was beautiful and the house was so clean. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great time!

This was a last minute find for us but it was just amazing. There were 3 ensuites and 1 main bathroom which made the stay for 4 of us couples with kids amazing. The living space was huge with a very comfortable couch, I only wish the TV was a bit bigger. The outdoor areas are well equipped with sufficient seating and spots to relax and enjoy. The house was clean however had a few cobwebs underneath dining chairs and some really big spiders roaming about but other than that it was spotless.

Gorgeous spot for a getaway from the city. Close to everything in the Hunter, but well away from everything and everyone. Super easy to find and get there, check-in/out was a breeze. All the information you need is provided. Great amenities especially in the kitchen. Accomodation is a beautiful space indoors and out. Amazing afternoon walks around the property. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! We found the property to be exactly what we were looking for, a nice getaway that made you feel disconnected and relaxed. The property is set up perfectly to bring your dog, with the secure area around the villa that allows them to explore without worry. Zoe the resident dog is also great host and very welcoming, she would come a visit each day to make sure that we were comfortable. She was very friendly and got along well with our dog, she even came along with us for one of our walks and showed us the way. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return one day, thankyou Kylie for being a great host!

Great peaceful place to stay in beauty surroundings. Nice cozy fireplace watching wildlife outside. Very relaxing.

By far the best air bnb i’ve ever stayed at. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The location was beautiful and comfortable. Will definitely be back soon!

Sonia was friendly and quick to respond. the villa was beautiful and private. perfect for a weekend away. the spa was always heated and the small touches like chocolates and a bottle of wine was extremely thoughtful. I would definitely recommend Casa da Vina to anyone looking for a peaceful yet private weekend escape
