Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

If you’re planning a trip to Switzerland this is THE PLACE to stay! It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Switzerland and at first I was very lost on where to stay but I am SO THANKFUL I came across this air bnb because it made our trip that much better! The pictures on here don’t do the place justice. It was better than we expected and the host make you feel like family while you’re there. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It’s one of the best air bnbs I’ve ever been in and the location/views are unbeatable. We could walk to the train station and the town of Grindelwald with ease. If we ever get the chance to come to Switzerland again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I was sad to leave but so happy we got to come and experience this. You won’t regret booking this for your trip!

We loved our stay at Angie’s Apartment! It was the perfect home base for exploring other cities by train or exploring mountain towns on foot/hiking. The apartment was very spacious for two adults. The beds were comfortable, the shower water was always hot and the views were spectacular. We loved checking out Angie’s local suggestions and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio and taking in Staubbach falls and the mountains. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Lauterbrunnen valley and having a great home base for the surrounding areas.

Reto est super sympathique et parle apparemment de nombreuses langues parfaitement! La cuisine est non seulement très jolie, alliant du mobilier ancien et charmant avec de l’électroménager récent de très bonne qualité (cuisinière induction, hotte d’aspiration du futur, tous les ustensiles nécessaires à disposition, magnifique frigo… le tout d’une propreté impeccable). Difficile ensuite de revenir dans notre appartement citadin modeste 😅 On n’a manqué de rien, il est également possible de manger à l’extérieur. Les containers pour les poubelles sont très proches, aucun problème sans voiture. Pareil pour la salle de bains, confortable et généreusement fournie en serviettes de différentes tailles et produits de base fort appréciés. L’ensemble est extrêmement cosy et confortable, très accueillant et chaleureux. On espère revenir bientôt! Et la région est absolument fantastique, on a eu la chance de faire des randonnées magiques et espérons beaucoup pouvoir revenir chez Reto en hiver!

Wir haben uns nach einen Ort geseht, an dem wir abschalten können und dem Trubel entgehen und genau das haben wir bekommen :) Elisabeth und Ihr Mann sind sehr Gastfreundlich, die Unterkunft hat alles was man benötigt und mehr (es gab Orangensaft, Tee, Kaffee, Zucker, Gewürze, frische Eier und Milch). Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft, alles war blitz Blank sodass man sich direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt hat. Die Fenster hatten Fliegengitter, so konnte man Nachts lüften. Die Küche verfügte über einen hochwertigen Induktionsherd & Backofen sowie alle benötigten Kleingeräte. Einen Fernseher hatten wir nicht, diesen haben wir aber auch nicht benötigt! Im Winter könnten wir uns den Weg zur Unterkunft beschwerlich vorstellen, da die Unterkunft recht weit hoch auf einem Berg liegt. Mobilfunk Verbindung war dementsprechend auch nicht vorhanden jedoch hat die Unterkunft ein stabiles WLan! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden diese Unterkunft definitiv nochmal buchen.

This place is centrally located in the heart of Lauterbrunnen but still remains quiet and tranquil just out of the way of the Main Street / restaurants and can sleep easily. Easy to go and see all the sights either by walking or bus. The train station is just a 7 minute walk as well and opens up further areas around to explore. The flat is perfect as a base and the kitchen enables you to self cater more cheaply as the restaurant food prices are quite expensive. There’s a local coop supermarket that has lots of food to cook. Shower is also really nice, powerful and hot. Manuela is also really nice and very helpful and insightful giving tips of where to go and what to see. We also arrived early and was allowed to check in with no problems as the property was ready which was a lovely bonus :) Definitely recommend and if we come again we will deffo stay here! PS the flat/TV has “Blue” which meant I could watch Arsenal vs PSG which was nice extra as well! Thank you Joe and Stef

I had a fantastic stay at Ursula’s place! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed—including fast Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated the thick solid curtains. The location was perfect—just a short walk to cafes, shops, and public transport. The view from her house was Breathtaking!! Ursula was incredibly responsive and the check-in process was seamless. I definitely stay here again!

Wow – Irene’s place exceeded all expectations! The moment we walked in, we were drawn straight to the balcony to take in the absolutely breathtaking view. It felt like something out of a dream or fairy tale—truly unforgettable. This is hands down the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as described, and the thoughtful personal touches made us feel instantly at home. Irene’s instructions were clear and made finding the place a breeze. It’s just a short, scenic walk from town along a lovely path we looked forward to strolling each day. If you’re looking for a stay filled with beauty, peace, and warmth, this is the place. I would return to Switzerland just to stay here again—without hesitation!

We loved staying at Once Upon a Time. Tucked away in a lovely village with all the necessities. We loved the apartment it was had many nice touches we especially enjoyed the balcony.Luekerbad is a hidden gem. The town is charming and we couldn't have asked for more!

We had a wonderful time. The view is fantastic and proactive communication is really worth highlighting.

The unit had everything we needed and more. Well stocked, lots of space, and Ruth was very sweet and welcoming. the surrounding hills and vineyards are spectacular. We spent hours walking the paths around the town and it's a great base camp for hikes in the surrounding mountains. We would stay here again.

Wir haben 5 Nächte in Simones Wohnung verbracht und hatten eine super Zeit. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Thunersee und die Berge ist wunderschön und die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet. Eine perfekte Basis für einen Wanderurlaub in die umliegenden Berge. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen :)

The Beatles apartment was exactly as pictured, with so many fun details throughout. Not only was it beautiful, but also everything we could have needed was inside. We were treated to the sound of the river out our window and amazing views all around. Nick was very responsive through both our planning and our entire stay, always helpful and friendly. We would absolutely recommend this property and its host to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Nick, for an amazing stay!

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Absolutely perfect Swiss chalet tucked away on the edge of the village. Stunning view of the 3 mountains, and well placed for various local walks as well as excursions further afield. Liza looked after us extremely well, always on hand for any problems (there were none!) or to help with any queries, and always with such good humour. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

5 Sterne sind eigentlich zu wenig! Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Airbnb. Das Haus war perfekt – sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ein echtes Wohlfühl-Zuhause! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber: Er war persönlich beim Check-in und Check-out dabei, unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Als Highlight hat er uns morgens sogar frische Gipfeli gebracht – einfach toller Service und unglaublich herzlich! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Ich kann die Wohnung von Jasmin uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Jasmin und Adam waren äußerst freundlich und stets für uns ansprechbar. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Besonders beeindruckend war der traumhafte Ausblick auf die Berge. Auch die Umgebung hat uns begeistert – sie bietet viele schöne Orte und faszinierende Aussichten. Ein Auto ist jedoch unbedingt zu empfehlen. Lediglich die Küche ist etwas klein und für eine große Familie, die selbst kochen möchte, nur bedingt geeignet.

Chuen was a great host and should be proud what he has done with his Swiss home. It’s a perfect accomodation to stay in a peaceful traditional place in Switzerland home, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery whilst having everything you need, including a kitchen, great bed and bathroom for exploring the Swiss landscape. The hike from the train station is a little steep for those with suitcases, but for those back packing it is worth it. Would recommend to anyone staying in Switzerland!

A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse ainsi que la réactivité de Nicolas. Tout a été facile et fluide lors de ce séjour. Nous avons pu bénéficier de la place de parc plus longtemps que prévu, ce qui a été grandement apprécié. L'appartement est fonctionnel, jolie décoration avec les linges. Ce sont de petites attentions qui font plaisir. A noter qu'il y avait, entre autres, du papier ménage, des épices, du liquide vaisselle et des capsules de café à disposition. Merci !
