Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We enjoyed our stay at Jan's house in Someford Keynes. The rooftop entertaining space was a particular favourite of our group. For future travels, id note the following: * The ammenties in the holiday park are very busy and require significant prior planning. Unfortunately, our group were not able to swim as all of the slots were taken, and all spa appointments were booked weeks in advance. * There are a lot of children and families around the park. As such, there are a lot of rules for noise/entertainment (which is fair!), but just worth being aware of in case your group would prefer an adults-only experience. We enjoyed the space and appreciated the proactive communications from the host!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Such a lovely place to stay. We only booked for two nights and wish we had been there for longer. Lots of really interesting features (a suit of armour! A harp!) in a well stocked house. Very comfortable beds and sofas, beautiful views (we especially enjoyed all the bird nesting in the eaves), gorgeous interior, starry Dark Skies and nice hosts - what's not to love? Great parking. Wish we could have had a few more nights, to check out the pub just down the road.

Booked for a 50th birthday celebration and reunion. A great time was had by all! Lois was around to meet and greet and the items provided for breakfast was an unexpected but very welcome surprise! Thanks for a great stay Lois!

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

We had a wonderful weekend. Richard was a considerate host and very flexible when we were running late for check-in. The house and surrounding countryside were both beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We were a group of 4 couples, 4 infants, a toddler and a dog, so it could have been chaos. However, the whole stay was very easy and stress-free as all needs were met. The check-in was very thorough so we understood the quirks of the building. We would definitely stay again. We had a lovely time at Alison’s place during the book festival. V easy to reach the festival place, and the town at other times. Comfortable, quiet place with good beds (including lovely linen sheets). Cute secluded garden to sit in and have coffee. The only thing we would have wished for was a set of black-out blinds in each bedroom. So pack an eye mask if you like your bedroom dark! But that really was the only suggestion we had. Thank you, Alison!

Thank you for a lovely stay! I couldn’t get over how peaceful and tranquil it was plus the weather held up nicely to enjoy the lovely outdoor space. Amanda provided in depth instructions for us & a book was provided with recommendations & local activities. I forgot to pack some things but I didn’t need to worry as Amanda had everything you could think of, including sunscreen which we didn’t think we needed living in south wales! Definitely recommend this place if want to get away from the world :)

Mark was an excellent host. He was proactive in regard to accessing the property and asked well ahead of time about our preferences in relation to food items he provided. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and provisions ( one of the best 'welcome packs' we have had - milk, wine, grapes, bread, cheese, tomatoes, jam ). And lovely to have an induction cooktop. There was an ample supply of maps, brochures and books about the local area and the wider Cotswolds. The dining table looked out over a lovely back garden. A comfortable bed in a good sized bedroom. All in all a very comfortable stay and a great host. The home is in the 'suburbs' of Winchcombe making it easy to access with a car from all directions and it is only a 10-15 minute walk into town. But it is in a modern estate, not classic old Cotswolds stone if that is important.

Stayed for a long weekend, the place was great for 3 couples. Unfortunately the weather prevented us using the outdoor space very much. Lots of restaurants in Ross, 15 minute walk away. The Italian Avellini was very good. We had a great day with Canoe The Wye and paddled from Ross to Symonds Yat. The house was perfect for us.

Beautiful, peaceful stay. A few issues with the lock box code on arrival but very quickly resolved by Melody. Hosts responsive and friendly and the place was perfect. Thank you!

David's place is a beautiful and characterful cottage, fantastically well-equipped and with comfy beds. We really enjoyed spending quality time with our friends in peaceful surroundings. The garden is wonderful too. Thanks for a great stay.

Khirsty was an outstanding host—warm, responsive, and full of thoughtful touches, even messaging us while travelling back from New York. She helped us plan a surprise for my husband’s 50th that completely wowed us. The cottage is exquisite—styled with incredible taste and nestled beside a charming church in a magical location. It’s one of the most beautifully designed places we’ve stayed in. Our American guest, no stranger to luxury, was utterly enchanted—we genuinely worried she might not want to leave! Khirsty also recommended fantastic local spots which made our stay even more special. From the first message to the final goodbye, she helped make this a truly memorable weekend. Thank you for being such an important part of a milestone celebration—we can’t wait to return.

Cottage was warm and cosy. Beautifully decorated for Christmas for us. Gardens are lovely. Welcome pack was lovely with homemade bread and mince pies. Even a Christmas gift. Edward was very hospitable. Didn’t want to leave

We had a fantastic time at Anita’s beautiful home. The location was superb - the forest of Dean on our doorstep, the river Wye within short walking distance, a comfortable house with beautiful views overlooking the village. The locals were friendly with a nice selection of pubs/restaurants nearby. It was nice to be able to take our dogs along, Anita even left treats and beds for them. A nice touch! Anita was a very attentive host, nothing too much trouble. My family had a very relaxing break. Thank you Anita, highly recommended.

The Den was one of the nicest places I have stayed at, so cosy, clean and just beautiful. The property had everything you could want and need to the point where we are now looking to come back for a longer stay. It genuinely just felt like home. Nigel and Nicola were very lovely, provided us with all the information for a smooth check in and out and even left a Welcome Basket for us with some local treats. So a big Thank You and we will be back that is for sure!
