Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Beautiful home, interesting history, quirky dungeon bar. Lots to do for everyone on site and close surrounding area's. Has everything you could need inside and outside, very well equipt for children of all ages. Comfortable bedrooms, great layout. Stunning views all round. Helpful host, there for anything we needed. Couldnt recommend more all that stayed had a great time and this stunning house was part of that stay. Really loved it.

Super séjour ! Les hôtes sont très sympas et accueillants. Le logement est propre, confortable et bien équipé, exactement comme décrit. Très bien situé, avec plusieurs villes sympas à proximité pour les visites.

Wij hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf bij Dominique. De omgeving is prachtig, rustig en charmant. De gîte heeft een authentieke stijl, was zeer goed onderhouden en erg goed voorzien. Ons dochtertje (1,5 jaar) was een grote fan van de geitjes en schaapjes op het domein. Supermarkten, stadjes, marktjes, wandelingen,… alles is zeer dichtbij. Absoluut een aanrader!

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

Un grand merci à Cathy pour sa réactivité avec notre demande de réservation au dernier moment. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, avec des instructions claires et toutes les informations sur les activités à faire dans la région qui est magnifique. Notre séjour a été super, le logement est très joli et fonctionnel avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Nous avions même ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner à disposition. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus avec une superbe vue. Une adresse à retenir !

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans le logement de Bertrand. Le logement correspond en tout point à la description et la vue est encore plus belle que ce qu'on peut imaginer. Au calme total , d'une propreté irréprochable et avec le bain nordique en cerise sur le gâteau on ne peut que recommander. De plus Bertrand était très accessible. Nous gardons clairement l'adresse pour refaire si l'occasion se présente.

We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

Hélène est une personne particulièrement sympathique, gentille et réactive à nos diverses demandes. Le logement proposé est parfait, particulièrement propre et les prestations proposées (jardin, etc...) sont appréciables. Nous avons pu ainsi profiter de notre séjour. Nous recommandons sincèrement l'annonce du logement proposée par Hélène.

Pauline est très bonne haute, accueillante et disponible. Le logement est agréable, très confortable et bien entretenu. Rien à dire. Un tout petit bémol sur la disposition de la cour traversante, il nous à manqué d’intimité et du calme. Sur le reste je recommande, nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Le logement de Claude et Marie-Christine est un véritable petit havre de paix, hôtes très accueillants et réactifs. le petit espace extérieur est très agréable et reposant! Tout est fait pour s 'y sentir chez soit ! rien ne manque ! l'environnement est magnifique et d'un calme absolu! c'est une adresse que je conserve précieuse ment !!

Superbe chalet dans un environnement extrêmement paisible. Des aménagements extérieurs très agréable pour profiter pleinement du jardin. Situé dans un secteur avec plein de sympathique randonnée, certaines même au départ à pied du chalet. Très plaisant, merci Solange et Jean Marc.

Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Roland et Joëlle sont des personnes super accueillante, et d'une grande gentillesse. Le chalet était parfait, un secteur calme, un paysage agréable et reposant. Nous garderons leur adresse pour de prochaines vacances en toutes tranquillité. je recommande !

Het is een geweldig en huiselijk ingerichte woning. Heel veel privacy, en prachtig uitzicht vanuit echt elke ruimte! We voelden ons dan ook onmiddellijk thuis. Bij aanvang hadden we een verzoek aan Nathalie, wat meteen voor ons geregeld werd, echt top. Kortom: een echte aanrader, ook vanwege het feit dat het een perfecte uitvalsbasis is voor het gebied tussen de rivieren de Dordogne en de Vésère, vlakbij het mooie plaatsje Sarlat.

Lieu chaleureux dans un cadre très agréable. Le gîte est joliment aménagé. Très confortable pour 2 personnes. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la petite terrasse en herbe juste derrière . Philippe est très accueillant et bienveillant. Ses attentions et ses conseils étaient appréciables . Les voisins sympathiques également. Dès que nous en aurons l'occasion , nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

un grand merci à Jacques et sa sœur Marie pour leur très bon accueil. La maison se situe en pleine campagne, idéal pour profiter du calme et des grands espaces ! Nos enfants et notre chienne étaient au paradis. Le lieu est propice à la découverte, nature, animaux, insectes, calme et liberté ! Malgré une météo capricieuse; notre séjour était plus que réussi !

Walnut gîte was exactly as described. We had a wonderful 5 days and particularly loved the pool, the outlook and the location. We were close enough to do all sights and still able to come back to the peace and quiet in the afternoons for a swim in the pool and a glass of wine on the terrace. Carolyn was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Thank you!

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Nous avons passé un week-end de 3 jours dans la maison à 2 familles de 4 personnes. L'endroit est très calme, la maison est vraiment bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire dans la cuisine et la maison très bien adaptée à nos deux familles (deux espaces nuits distincts et la pièce commune centrale). La maison correspond à la description, donc c'est une maison rustique, peu lumineuse mais avec bcp d'éclairages, du cachet avec des pierres au sol, sur les murs et du parquet. Les enfants ont bien profité de l'extérieur qui est très agréable également. Petit plus également pour Lucie, qui a été très sympathique et flexible pour l'arrivée et le départ. Pour résumer, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison.

We went as 3 families, 2 with young children. The Villa was perfect, pool was great and the aircon was a blessing on the few extremely hot days we had! It was very easy to walk into town with a variety of restaurants and shops, supermarkets very close by and a Lidl in walking distance. The villa is far enough away though that there is no traffic etc noise, very peaceful surroundings. Emmanuelle was very responsive to messages and always easy to get hold of, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

L'hôte est très réactif. Description de la maison très fidèle à l'annonce. Cadre paisible et facile d'accès. La vue est magnifique. La maison est super jolie et agréable. On s'y sent comme à la maison. Maison très équipée. Les lits simples de la mezzanine adaptés pour des enfants et ados (pas adultes). Patrick, son bras droit nous a accueilli chaleureusement et très disponible.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. It is such a peaceful and tranquil place and the pool is superb. We cannot fault it at all. Thank you Jenny and Marc!

We've just stayed at Anne's place for a week and had the most wonderful holiday. It had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for our 3 year old with so much to do for him and the pool was secured with a fence. There are so many games and spaces to explore. Location was superb and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you Anne for giving us the best week!

A lovely peaceful place to relax. The house is very cosy and has a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. The pool is nice and large, and along with and the many other leisure facilities very well looked after. Alan and Fanny were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. It's a very short walk into the village where the Forge restaurant is well worth a visit.
