Comfortable and spacious queen room in a beautiful, roomy (yet cozy!) century home with use of bathroom and kitchenette on same level; down comforter, table, wifi, fridge and toaster oven. We have a parking space as well. It's a 5 min drive to downtown Peterborough. We have one medium sized dog. He is well trained and very friendly. There is a second room available too if there are more guests coming. Let me know if you have any questions via call or text :)
“Location as described, a bedroom in a family home. If you just need a place to stay for the night, this is a good value in Peterborough.”
Cozy cottage with stunning lakefront scenery. This quaint, picturesque and relaxing Trent riverfront property features a private dock to enjoy swimming, fishing, water activities and beautiful sunrises. The cottage is open concept with all the essentials, situated on a large and stunning property with 85 ft of waterfront to enjoy. New wrap around deck, a rowboat, 2 adult kayaks and 2 youth yak boards. Free parking, BBQ, fans, and all kitchen & bathroom essentials. No pets, parties, or events.
“I would highly recommend booking George's place. If you want a stay that is relaxing, simple, cozy and has a breathtaking view, look no further. The breathtaking sunrise, sunset, and everything in between by the dock is really something special. We got up early to catch the sunrise and went back to bed to enjoy more sleep and we were so rested. We loved that there was no wifi, or tv! Bring your books, board games, and enjoy the great company with your friends/family. There is so much to do and just zen out! Make sure you bring your own water for drinking and cleaning dishes though, this was no issue for us but we only needed it with George's reminder. We were glad he reminded us. The kayaks were so much fun and we had time to kayak around the island in front of the cottage. Beds and sofa are super comfortable and the view from inside the cottage feels like you're in the wilderness. George was probably one of the most considerate hosts I've had. We bought frozen food to cook for the weekend and unfortunately the oven was not working (we fiddled around but no luck, but the stovetop does work). When we messaged him, he tried to help us fix it and immediately accommodating to cover the delivery of pizza for my husband and I since we couldn't cook our lasagna. There are heaters and fans so regardless of the time of year you go, you will be very comfortable. The place is small but George did a great job of making great use of the space without it feeling like it is! We had such a great time and rejuvenated for our quick staycation.”

“Tiny home was an amazing stay, the pictures look good but wait until you see it with your own eyes. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing gateaway look no further and book. Tiny home is cozy and once inside it’s not so tiny. It has everything you need and then some, the place was clean and very well kept. Stephanie was quick to respond to any questions we had. The hottub is so nice after a long hike which leads me to the trails which are fantastic. Will definitely be back soon. I recommend this 10/10.”
