Absolutely outstanding stay! Krista is a 10/10 host — warm, responsive, and thoughtful in every detail. The home was spotless, smelled incredible, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need (including farm-fresh eggs, premium juice, cozy blankets, games, quality toiletries, and a fully equipped kitchen, and BBQ). The location is unbeatable: lakefront with stunning mountain views, private dock, kayaks, paddleboards, fire pit, and fantastic fishing (we caught rainbow and kokanee!). Quiet and peaceful, yet only 15 - 20 minutes from Kamloops for groceries or dining. Krista even personally greeted us and shared helpful local tips, like where to drop our boat in the water. Her husband Ed lent us some bait to help us catch more fish. We extended our stay as soon as we arrived — that’s how perfect it was. Can’t recommend this place enough — we will absolutely be back! We left feeling so happy and relaxed in every way! Thank you Krista and Ed!

Tom was immediately helpful with a last-minute booking, even helping me with a late check in and a special request. His communication was almost immediate and very thorough. The room was more than I could’ve asked for as a private suite to enjoy the weekend of my niece’s graduation; bright, clean bathroom, fully stocked with the amenities one might need, microwave, small fridge, assortment of basic dishes, complementary snacks, and a fully stocked, Keurig machine, and variety of coffees! With the convenient blackout blinds and brand new queen, mattress and bedding, I had some of the best sleeps after a long week of travel and work. I have to see, of all the Airbnb’s that I have stayed with, this was the most comfortable bed with a cool basement temperature and heated or cooled bathroom floors. Add to it that Tom turned out to be an interesting character and conversationist in my field of work, I wish I could’ve stayed longer, and intend on returning when I visit Kamloops again!

Mick and his wife were so nice! Im a travel nurse that stayed here for 3 weeks and they made my stay so much easier. I arrived early and they let me check in early. I was post night shift the day I checked out and they let me stay later so I could sleep a couple extra hours. They checked in to make sure I didnt need fresh sheets or towels and would bring me freshly washed towels. Overall, great place to stay, and a great experience for someone whos never lived away from home for such a long time.
