We loved the View of Kinnaur Kailash! I was amazed to see the view. I will certainly recommend the place. Akash listing is worth visiting. The listing was clean, easy to checkin, staff in the listing was very nice, helpful and communicative. All the amenities were working, as it was too cold so heater in the listing played important role. We liked the food, however, you can get better options in Rekong peo but it is 5 KM down hill. Last 300m to the listing was touch to drive and the hairpin curves are steep. 4X4 was recommended. But once we reach the place, this is worth every penny.

This place was more than just a stay for us. This was an experience to witness humanity and humility at its best. When we booked this place we had an exhausting trip from Shimla to reckong peo and we were running late so badly due to a landslide that all the shops and restaurants were also closed. At that moment to find a stay where the hosts were so nice to not only guide us to their location continuously but also offer to cook dinner for us. The rooms and stay was great and the dinner they cooked was cherry on top. Next morning they allowed us to even explore their apple garden and it was absolutely beautiful. One of the most memorable stays of my life and I recommend everyone if you want to stay anywhere in kalpa/reckong peo look no further than this.

Folktales Residency is as romantic and folksy as it sounds. The wooden home is decorated beautifully. It’s an ideal place for solo travellers and people who are looking to relax in a picturesque location. The collection of books that the host has are enviable. The entire vibe of the place was perfect- warm and cosy, artistic, for the imaginative! And the food is definitely one of the best I have had. Ishaan was welcoming even though I arrived at siesta time, he’s friendly and takes care of the guests. I had the best of time and I look forward to staying there again soon. Location is 5-10 minutes from where Rakchham meadows begin. Property is surrounded by mountains and greenery.

Excellent stay! The property is quite new and located right next to the main road so it's easily accessible. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the main village, and the views on the way and around the property in general are absolutely stunning. I'd requested for a mountain-facing room and Sumit and Sam were sweet enough to follow through with my request. The rooms are spacious and well-kept. There's geysers for hot water and heaters that you can request for; I didn't opt for one since their comforters did a good enough job for me. The food was reasonably priced and tasted like home. The entire staff was extremely courteous and warm, which is exactly what I needed as a solo female traveller. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are to visit Kalpa.

Kalpa is gorgeous n it’s my second time visiting this place . But this place is a lil above Kalpa and that’s what makes it stand out . Three little domes in front of Kinner Kailash makes it so dreamy . We arrived in great weather followed by an evening of sub zero o temperatures . The dome was well insulated n had electric blankets n a blower to combat the cold . The next morning was again bright n sunny . It’s a gorgeous place but we got the dome which is a little obstructed by the roof of their building . So choose one which a clear view n enjoy Fayyul retreat .

Very Excited to share my experience as i was initially concerned about the place but it turn out to be my one of the best experience, this place is very peaceful, scenic view and comfortable stay. Hospitality is top notch and home cooked food is delicious 😋. Nikita and her family is doing awesome job, they can help you and guide you all the best option for nearby travel. Zostel Chitkul was perfect stay. The room is exactly as described. The stay was super smooth. The food was available and it tasted great. The view from room was also beautiful. Thank god there is a zostel in chitkul.
