Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Great stay! The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped, exactly as described. Very well located, with several nice cities nearby for visits.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in the countryside, this is the place to be! The view is magnificent, the sunset a dream. The treehouse is comfortably furnished, in the kitchen there are the most important utensils so you can cook well at home. In the vicinity there are countless small tranquil villages, which are among the most beautiful places in France. In the preseason, some activities, such as canoeing, are usually not yet open, which did not bother us as we mainly focused on hiking and resting. Anne is a wonderful hostess - she was quickly available for questions and stopped by if necessary. Gladly again :-)

We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

We had a very good stay at La Florelie. The setting is really beautiful, calm and relaxing. Total relaxation. Thanks to Simon for his welcome as well as Beau and Belle ;) I recommend it and we will come back without hesitation.

Exceptional!! Everything was absolutely perfect, the place is beautiful and very well decorated. Gilles and Nicole are extremely kind and welcomed us very well to their peaceful haven. We were also able to enjoy the jacuzzi, the heated pool and the small vegetable garden in their garden. The optional breakfast was also delicious. These few days in their cottage were a truly enchanting break.

We had a great weekend at Laure's, at the dovecote. The setting is conducive to disconnection. The famous village Collonges la rouge is within easy walking distance and beautiful walks are to be taken. The accommodation, atypical, was clean and provided all the necessary equipment. A welcome organic apple juice was waiting for us. A big thank you to Laure for her communication, kindness and flexibility on our departure time. A beautiful place to decompress!

What a delight to arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a well-kept, tree-lined park with a large shared swimming pool. An exceptional welcome from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very gentle and generous, and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. It's a pleasure to open the windows in the morning, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It is a haven of peace with a beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

Quiet apartment, very well located with exceptional view, consistent with the photos. Comfortable, good bedding. Only downside: the blackout curtains of the rooms are not effective, they let the daylight in. Flexible and easy to check in and check out.

I highly recommend Jean Yves' lovely place. Located in a small village typical of the Heart of Causse, quiet, we enjoyed our stay with the family of our Lotois stay. Jean Yves is at the top,very welcoming, responsive, we will surely come back!.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!

Warm place in a very pleasant setting. The cottage is beautifully furnished. Very comfortable for 2 people. We loved the little grass terrace just behind. Philippe is very friendly and caring. His attentions and advice were valuable. The neighbors are friendly too. As soon as we have the opportunity, we will return with great pleasure.

Jacques and Isabelle's property is worthy of his title “haven of peace” A quiet place, full of charm and conducive to appeasement after visits to high-traffic sites.

This was our second stay at La Mirabelle, and the house is great with lovely views across the valley. The surrounding area is great as there is so much to see and do and most places are easy to get to. Babara and Robert are great too, they are so friendly and attentive, they also speak really good English too.

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Just had the most amazing week here, the pictures really do not do the gardens and views justice!! Such a peaceful setting but with lots of sights and attractions near-by, however a car is essential. The gite had everything we could need to relax, wine and dine in an evening. The pool and view was lovely, just perfect to relax by after a day out exploring. We are already planning we we can return!

Our stay at La Maine was wonderful. Catherine and Maxence are excellent hosts, extremely welcoming and warm, but also very respectful of privacy. The cottage is impeccably decorated and comfortable -- we cooked a couple of meals after shopping at the farmer's market, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. Cubjac is small, but inviting -- be sure to go to the bakery, to the farmer's market, and to the Tabac for aa coffee. Catherine and Maxence had great recommendations for restaurants and outings -- every one of their suggestions was 100%. Our only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! Thank you to our new friends in Cubjac -- and Lila and Iris, of course.

A short but absolutely perfect stay! Cottage decorated with great taste, the atmosphere is sweet and soothing, and the terrace is a real haven of peace. Everything is carefully thought out for the comfort of the guests. Beatrice welcomed us with great kindness and beautiful touches, including a succulent homemade jam! A very nice experience that we hope to repeat for a longer stay. Thank you again!

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. Smiling and positive, Alexandra welcomed us with warmth and kindness. During our stay, his concern for the well-being of his guests was matched only by his elegant discretion. The accommodation, functional and very clean, perfectly matched the description on the site. He met our expectations. We had a very pleasant week in a generous nature filled with birdsong and cricket chirping. What a quiet and relaxing place! And what about the sweetness of the end of the day on the terrace, in the shade of the lime tree! We also took full advantage of the welcoming pool with impeccable maintenance. As you can see, if you are looking for a peaceful haven close to the countless sources of culture and relaxation offered by the Périgord Noir, you are at the right place.
