My lovely house in Wales

This unique place has a style all its own. Very Welsh old town house with a lot of character. Quiet street in the desirable part of Cardiff Pen y lan. Convenient to get to town by bus or train. Lovely parks and restaurantd within walking distance. Clean with a garden to enjoy. Large rooms with antique furniture A good place for families or friends to enjoy . Anyone lucky enough to stay here is in for a treat. The neighbourhood is in one of Cardiff’s finest areas. Cafes and parks are easily walkable. Then the house is lovely. It looks exactly like the photos, and is spotlessly clean. And finally, Ian is a fabulous host: informative, responsive and kind. One of the best AirBnB experiences I’ve ever had.

We had a great nights stay at Michael’s for a concert we attended at Principality Stadium which was a half an hour walk away. Michael is such a natural host and was so attentive and helpful when we arrived with where to go for food/drinks and directions on getting there. His place is exactly as described- lovely, light, airy and clean. Hugo was the cherry on top of the whole stay- such a gorgeous dog.. you just can’t beat a wagging tail to greet you!! Thank you so much- we really enjoyed chatting with you and appreciate how welcome you made us feel. Would definitely stay here again!

J’ai passé un séjour délicieux chez Ty accompagné de son chien Morgan. La chambre, la maison sont à l’image des photos un havre de paix et de ressourcement. Au pied de cette maison édouardienne, un parc pour aller vous balader ou courir. Ty est à l’écoute, riche de recommandations et conseils avisés. Merci beaucoup ! ***** I had a wonderful time at Ty’s meeting him an his beautiful breed dog, friendly and helpul. The room and the house are truth to pictures: a peaceful and safe place to stay in Cardiff. The house is next to a Park ideal for walks or runs. Ty is full of rich recommendations and make himself available while respecting your privacy. Thanks for the stay !

Lucy is an excellent host - she gave really clear instructions and tips, and was on hand to respond to messages even though she was away herself. The room was clean and comfortable and the flat is in a quiet neighbourhood in the outskirts of the city, but an easy/frequent bus ride into the centre or an hour's walk. Next time I'm in Cardiff I would gladly stay here again.

This was our favorite Airbnb during a 3-week trip across the UK! These guys are so responsive and friendly, but what really stood out was how thoughtful they were of little details. It was the middle of a heatwave, so they had opened the window and prepped a fan for us — despite being a loft room, it was surprisingly cool thanks to this. The room was stocked with many useful little things, including a simple muesli breakfast bar with a tiny chiller with both oat and dairy milk options. The home is in a beautiful historical neighborhood very close to the center of the city, so the property must be old, but everything was so well maintained and modernized as needed, meaning very hot water with great pressure in the shower, no mold or smell of dampness, smooth locks and hinges on windows and doors. Everything is also so charmingly and tastefully decorated that it feels larger than expected as well! So impressed and comfortable we decided to just stay in that evening and had no regrets!
