From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning surroundings, nestled among the vineyards of Langhe and Monferrato. The castle is a perfect blend of history and modern comfort. La Camera del Conte was ideal, spacious, and offering breathtaking views of Borgo di Neive and Monviso. The kids loved exploring the grounds, especially the pool area, while we relaxed on the terrace, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. We relished strolls, local wine, and delicious meals made with fresh produce. The Stella family were wonderful hosts—warm, welcoming, and full of great recommendations. Their advice made our visits to Alba and the surrounding area even more special. The castle was the perfect retreat, combining natural beauty and exceptional hospitality. We left with unforgettable memories. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Un piccolo paradiso nel panorama toscano. Subito all’arrivo ti sembra di entrare in un’atmosfera fantastica. Il castello ti accoglie senza risultare imponente perché il contesto è armonico con il giardino curatissimo ricco di piante grasse. Ogni arredo è pensato ed essenziale con uno stile vintage che ti fa sentire a casa. L’accoglienza è perfetta ogni appartamento ha il suo piccolo spazio di intimità nel giardino comune. Cordiali socievoli ed appassionati i proprietari sapranno farvi sentire a casa e consigliarvi attività e leccornie da mangiare nel dintorni. Io e il mio cane (pastore maremmano) siamo stati accolti con amore e rispetto nonostante la grande taglia del cane. Non vi mancherà la compagnia perché tanti fantastici gatti vi aspettano per le coccole rendendo l’ambiente allegro e vitale, ma senza essere invasivi e fastidiosi. È il perfetto contesto nella campagna toscana.

The time spent in Querceto was just marvellous; the village is unique and the apartments are respecting the original architecture. Anna and the whole service team have always been kind and available and most of all....always with a smile on their faces ( even when I needed help for my son who knocked hisself inside the bathroom......🤦‍♂️) ! So definitely recommended!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut für zwei Familien geeignet. Man kann hier wunderbar die Zeit gemeinsam geniessen oder auch an ruhigen Orten im Turm oder im Garten seine Ruhe geniessen. Der Badestrand beim Turm ist sowohl für kleine wie auch grosse Kinder bestens geeignet. Sowohl die Erwachsenen wie auch die Kinder haben sich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht vom Turm ist phänomenal.

Alors, là, quand ils annoncent que c'est l'endroit le plus calme au monde, ce n'est pas galvaudé. Un havre de paix, la Toscane dans toute sa ruralité, simplicité, mais le luxe infini de l'espace, du silence et du coucher du soleil. Nous étions dans la maison 'Torre' à environ 1km du château. Soyez prêts à faire des escaliers dans cette authentique tour.

Staying with Beatrice and her family was one of the highlights of our trip to the Chianti region. The home was absolutely perfect, from the beautifully decorated living space and bedrooms, to the manicured gardens, and even a wine cellar with local vintages to taste. The location was ideal for visiting Tuscany and easily accessible from the autostrata. Enjoying breakfast in the garden overlooking the Tuscan hills felt like a guilty pleasure. We will certainly be back and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

Un piccolo castello situato nel cuore di un borgo toscano di solo 100 abitanti, deliziosamente arredato, con ricercatezza nei dettagli e materiali, originalità ed un occhio su cose dell’epoca medioevale. Tutto intorno pace, tranquillità e profumo di pietra. L’appartamento seppur un terratetto è ben organizzato, le camere hanno letti comodi e lenzuola profumate, il bagno anche se piccolo ha tutto ciò che serve, bello e particolare. Uno dei punti forti a mio modesto parere è il terrazzo, spazioso e comodo, con un grande tavolo coperto, che nonostante il tempo incerto mi ha permesso di godermi un calice di vino e alcune pagine del mio libro preferito. Una piccola piscina per rinfrescarsi nelle calde serate estive si scorge in un angolo appartato. Seppur aperto verso le altre case il terrazzo gode di tendoni che regalano privacy. Parcheggio e ristorante con prodotti del territorio sono sotto casa e molto comodi. Amanda una host davvero disponibile e gentile. Spero di tornare presto.

Initially, I thought the photos were fantastic and I’ve got super dreamy about the convent. I LOVE historic places, but I was open minded. It sounded too good to be true. On the contrary- this most beautiful place exceeded my expectations x3. The host exited my expectations x 30! Tim is most carrying person i ever met, and was helpful outside Airbnb contract. Tim and Candida feel like a family to us now. Place has mostly original furniture. Very charming rooms (small, but very comfortable). These old walls 1-2’ thickness can’t be and shouldn’t be modified for the modern comfort. Place was very comfortable with just a fan and open windows. Bathrooms are same size as bedrooms,Good shower. Pool is very large and meticulously clean looks new. Beautiful outdoor areas everywhere you go. Hiking paradise. I am planning to be back, because I didn’t explore all of if. Kitchen, Gas stove, Dining room, market,Serpentine roads,Cliffs and beaches. You can have verity of experience.

Nous avons adoré notre semaine au couvent San Francescu d'Oletta. Quel lieu magique et poétique, parfaitement localisé pour découvrir les charmes de la Haute Corse, bien que nous avons opté de passer certains jours profitant du cadre du couvent lui-même. Le couvent a été et continue d'être restauré par les hôtes, dont un est architecte reconnu, dans l'optique de préserver son authenticité comme monument de l'histoire et du patrimoine corse. Dormir dans une cellule monacale, prendre son bain dans une immense baignoire ancienne en regardant le village perché d'Oletta au loin, déguster un petit déjeuner corse dans l'ancienne sacristie sous un tableau monumental de la mère d'une des hôtes, elle aussi artiste, quoi de plus enchanteur? La piscine immense nous a apporté confort et convivialité, très appréciés en période estival. L'accueil chaleureux et attentionné par Timothy et Candida a rendu notre séjour absolument inoubliable. Certainement une des meilleures adresses dans la région. Expérience à répéter sans aucune hésitation! On adorerait voir les jardins au printemps, certainement merveilleux.

Cet endroit est un bijou, je recommande à 100%! Pour commencer, le logement est magnifique, très propre et bien aménagé, avec une vue spectaculaire. La localisation est parfaite, juste assez loin de Florence mais encore très accessible autant en voiture qu'en autobus. Majla était très gentille et très disponible pour répondre à nos questions. J'y retournerais définitivement!!

Venir au couvent Saint François : c'est plonger dans l'histoire et surtout dans la beauté d'un lieu hors du commun. La Corse est une île ressourçante et le couvent est un lieu en adéquation parfaite avec cette énergie si salvatrice.

we had 4 adults staying (May 9-12, 2025). we rented both the tower and apartment. more than enough room. this would be ideal for a larger gathering being mindful that not all of the sleeping areas are completely private (as stated in the description). the place is decorated very tastefully with lots of interesting items to look at. we also took the pasta class on the night of our arrival. we had a great time and learned a lot from our host. a cup of coffee or a bottle of wine on the top of the tower was the perfect start/end to the day. we loved staying here. we had a rental car and set off for our Tuscan adventure. Lucca, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Greve to name a few, were all within 2 hours drive by car. Relatively close proximity to Florence as we arrived from Rome by train and continued to Venice by train. In my opinion, if you plan on touring Tuscany you need a car to really explore. We would stay here again.

Un lieu d'exception. Le cadre est rare et magnifique. Tim et Candida ont été des hôtes parfaits merci à eux pour leur hospitalité. Une bulle hors du temps que tous les amoureux de la Corse sauront apprécier. Les soirées de la boite de nuit située à quelques centaines de mètres plus haut ne nous ont pas empêchées de dormir grâce aux fenêtres triple vitrage. Si vous recherchez un lieu dépaysant, atypique et extraordinaire n'hésitez pas!

On a été très heureux de découvrir en famille le couvent San Francescu. On a été saisi par l'âme de ce lieu et son "charme fou". Les propriétaires se fondent parfaitement dans ces lieux dont ils nous ont ouverts leur portes. Généreux de multiples petites attentions et de conseils, ils ont rendu notre long séjour très agréable. On a déambulé dans les différents "espaces", selon les moments de la journée. En extérieur, ils offrent des perspectives variées et donc des atmosphères différentes : à l'ombre d'un Kaki Plaqueminier, une table robuste se dresse pour prendre un repas - sous un citronnier, on privilégie, du mobilier plus minimaliste pour siroter un pastis - sous les palmiers et à côté de plantureux aloe vera, un grand bassin d'eau douce pour un rafraîchissement garanti. Nos enfants ont aussi apprécié la piscine XXL. A l'intérieur, la bibliothèque, la sacristie, ou encore un ancien réfectoire sont des lieux inspirants pour passer du temps loin de l'agitation et de la frénésie

The convent is one of the most extraordinary Place I have stayed at. The sheer beauty of the monument along with the timeless decor mixing art and history transports you in another world . The surroundings are gorgeous, close to cap corse, to st Florent, to Oletta. great location. The cherry on the pie is the gorgeous swimming pool! Highly recommended

The accommodation is simple, however, the friendliness of the town, views and uniqueness of staying in a castle were fabulous. Ludmila was a friendly and helpful host and we had a lovely comfortable stay. We recommend highly.

Beautiful villa surrounded by vineyards and countryside. The nearby village of Panzano is so picturesque with lovely restaurants. I can also recommend visiting other Chianti towns and especially the market on a Saturday in Greve. The hosts Filippo and his father Carlo couldn't do enough for us and the communication was superb. The villa is so spacious and makes you feel right at home with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a garden with a pool that's just the icing on the cake. It was very warm during our visit and the fans provided were very welcomed. Every room is also equipped with mosquito nets on the windows. We made use of the large BBQ a few nights and also had a lovely wine tasting one evening which I can highly recommend. We were very sad to leave Villa Reggine and hope to return one day. Grazie!

Posto incantevole !!! Si è subito catapultati in un’ atmosfera nell’ epoca medievale . Riproduzione degli spazi abitativi, della cucina e del ristorante fedelissimi all’epoca scelta. Cucina ottima e con un occhio di riguardo molto minuzioso ai prodotti che si potevano trovare o meno nel medioevo . Personale giovane , attivo, super simpatici e disponibili, abbiamo fatto immediatamente amicizia. C’è anche la visita al castello inclusa nel prezzo e abbiamo avuto la possibilità di fare un giro molto interessante all’interno . Molto consigliato per una giornata di relax, buon cibo e ottima compagnia in un castello medievale, con vista spettacolare. Camera molto spaziosa, confortevole e con forte accento medievale anch’essa , letto super comodo con baldacchino . Un grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff, per l’accoglienza e per il duro lavoro che svolge ogni giorno per far sentire i clienti come se fossero a casa loro . Speriamo di tornare presto !!
