Townhome holiday rentals in River Shannon

Mags was a wonderful host — very responsive and kind, she offered great recommendations and even had toys in the house for our toddlers! The place is great, plenty of space to relax in the mornings and evenings. Kitchen was well-equipped and everything was clean. It’s about a 20 min walk downtown but it was a very early walk. Would recommend!

A delightful house with a lovely view over the harbour. It was great to be just a short walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants and where we could hear lively and uplifting music. The bedrooms are charming and the beds super-comfortable.

This was a lovely little place in Glaslough. All the local shops were excellent. We enjoyed walking around the castle grounds and nearby is a nice walk around lough emy.

We had a great time here! The house was clean and comfortable, the kids loved the upstairs play area, and we loved being able to walk everywhere.

What a brilliant find! Donald's home was immaculate and communication excellent. We really appreciated the goodies left for us and the well stocked kitchen - all you could need for your stay was there. The location of the property was great for us, a short walk into Strand hill front with it's brilliant pubs, restaurants and Mammy Johnston's ice-cream! The walk back is on a bit of a slope, fine for us but worth noting. The locations was a perfect base to explore the beautiful coastline and surrounding areas. Waterfalls, mountains and beauty everywhere! We are already planning our next trip to this part of the world.

Perfect location for Ballinamore. Terri was excellent host and communicated very well Nice touch that Tea coffee, milk and bread were provided.

We loved Dingle and this was a great place to stay, just outside of the busy/noisy area, but an easy walk to the great shops and pubs and restaurants scattered around town. There was ample parking and easy access to the Slea Head loop. The furnishings were very comfortable and the decor elegant. The flexible check in was great because we kept finding more to see and do en route to this place. Would not hesitate to recommend Noreen’s place.

Ann’s place is surely one of the best available in Killarney! The unit was stocked with all kinds of nice treats and even a bottle of wine for us. Tons of lovely small touches throughout make the place feel cozy with a modern touch. Communication was top notch and check in was super smooth! 10/10 would love to come back!

We loved our stay at Julie's house. Spotless, comfortable home with all you could need and a lovely private patio area, ideal for dining on a sunny evening. It's in the centre of Lismore, turn right to the end of the road and Red House for a bite to eat and a drink and and stroll on for the castle garden walk or the centre of town. We were able to have our little dog with us which was a huge bonus for us and she was even welcomed in the Red House Inn, sitting at our feet. A great weekend of rest, thank you Julie oh and though the bedroom faces the street, very quiet and peaceful throughout the night, and parking found right outside the door. Hope to return soon.

Kitchen was very well appointed with all appliances available including dishwasher, microwave. Generally everything you could need was supplied, kitchen utensils, bathroom towels etc. Our stay was very comfortable and extremely enjoyable.

Absolutely stunning property. So many high quality little design elements bringing out the nautical theme ⚓️ felt like I was on a boat at sea :)) The big window onto the ocean is a trip. Could have stared out at the waves all day. Will be back

Beautiful place just 5-10 minute walk from the Main Street with tons of restaurants and bars. Can also hop on the tour buses down there. Nice gated spot in the back of the house to park your car. Host gave great detailed instructions on how to get in. We went straight for the back of the house parking which was a little hard to find but you might just take a spot on the street in the front at first then move the car to the back and it will probably be easier. Would definitely stay here again.

Well, what can I say that hasn’t been said by other guests - this is an outstanding rental and Sorcha was a terrific host. The accommodation was exactly as described and super clean. The welcome hamper of food was outstanding- local produce of the highest quality… just loved the granola especially! Everything is walkable from Sorcha’s place whether you’re heading to the pubs, to Eyre Square or in the opposite direction to Salthill; it’s all on your doorstep. The views from the house were fantastic- we watched the Galway hookers set sail and return, so elegant! All in all we’d a super stay and Sorcha was brilliant about communicating & checking that all was okay - so thoughtful. Oh yes, and the little guide she provides is great; we enjoyed some of the food recommendations (book where possible as Galway is super popular!). Great city, great accommodation, great stay.

Brilliant home from home. only 20 miles out of Dublin and a fairly easy drive too. There was a bus stop at the top of the road but we drove. The rooms were big and light. Great shower and kitchen was great. We had great weather so took advantage of the garden. Was great to have flexible check in and out times so we were able to maximise our stay. Irish National Stud was a fabulous recommendation and the little Gem of a museum ( forgot the name ) A wonderful stay :-)

Location was amazing! 10/10! The apartment was quite nice, it wasn’t very large, but was fine for our group of 4. It would be tight with 6 people. I highly recommend.

We spent three nights in this lovely townhome. The location is fantastic being so close to the main center of Galway City. We had a group of five and this was more than enough room for all of us to stretch out. Instructions provided were great and very convenient. We would highly recommend this place and the location.

Wonderful stay in Killarney. Perfect location and wonderful house with lots of amazing attractions . We did a wonderful bike ride and a fun time in the town! We highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Junes house. Nice location by the sea with a park right opposite the house. She provided us with a cot and high chair for our baby. Great view of the sea and mountains. A comfortable little patio in the back with small seating and inside there is everything we need. There is a SuperValu in a short walking distance so you can get all your food there. No problems whatsoever - we’d definitely go back there if we were in the area.

I think Sharon’s place is my favorite Airbnb stay so far! Felt just like home, great location, amazing view, every amenity possible! Grateful for such a wonderful place from which to explore our Great Grandfather’s hometown.

The best place we’ve ever stayed! The location was perfect, the house itself is beautiful & spacious, and our host, Aneta, was the absolute best! She was very helpful, responsive, and very thoughtful. I would highly recommend to anybody coming to stay in Westport!!

The place was in a fabulous location for getting around Athlone. Though the kitchen is small, it was well equipped and we were able to fix a nice meal there. Lisa was very helpful and left some nice treats for our arrival.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Shellys Unterkunft. Die Lage des "The Clockhouse" ist wirklich perfekt - alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar (Supermarkt, Cafés, Restaurants, Kneipen). Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Wir wurden persönlich von Shelly freundlich begrüßt und es gab ausreichend Informationen zum Haus (Internet, Funktion Warmwasser, Heizung, etc) sowie Tipps zu "Westport City" (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants). Wir hatten frische Blumen auf dem Tisch und zur Begrüßung gab es sogar noch frisches Brot, Butter, Marmelade und Kekse. Ein tolles Willkommenspaket; herzlichen Dank dafür ! Im "The Clockhouse" haben wir uns richtig wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen !
