Apartment holiday rentals in River Shannon

The location was walking distance to Galway City. The accommodation was facilitated well and very comfortable. We were met with a lovely greeting including our national flag that added a personal touch for us. Padraig communicated very clearly to us about tourist spots, activities that Galway offered and all details regarding the operation of facilities at our stay. We enjoyed our stay.

A really lovely, clean and spacious apartment in a superb location looking directly out onto the Shannon. A nice quiet spot with Glancy's Bar close by and the rest of Carrick just a short walk over the bridge. The apartment is immaculate and very stylish and Susan left us with fresh milk, orange juice, chocolate, tea, coffee, etc. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and plenty of storage space. Contact with Susan was great, initially using Airbnb messaging and then by phone and whats-app. She also left us a list of pubs, restaurants and things to do. We thought the cost was quite high but it's not bad when split between the 5 of us and it's on a par with whatever else is available in Carrick - and we were lucky to get it because there wasn't that much available - Carrick is a very popular place! Overall we had a fantastic stay, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Susan and would look forward to staying again if we return.

Marie's place is so convenient, walking distance from everything, free safe parking. Its quirky decor and quiet setting made it an ideal base for your break away. All of Marie's reccomendations were spot on. Very quick response to any messages. Wouldn't hesitate to re- book, will be reccomending to friends.

Lovely apartment to rest and relax. It is located on the edge of town but only a few mins drive away. The apartment is surrounded by green fields, woodland and nature. The terrace is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The apartment is well equipped and homely. Tom and his wife are friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for what I needed!

Great value here, for what is quite a large space! Location was perfect - ideal as I had a rental car to park, but could easily walk into town in a couple mins (it's literally around the corner from the main street). I booked this last minute, communication was great and fast and instructions were very clear. I also appreciated the treats and water left out and local recommendations from Diarmuid! I would definitely come back, especially for a longer stay as the kitchen is fantastic and has everything one needs.

This is a great quiet setting for a quick stop for all the local attractions. There are a few places to eat but the kitchen was set up and it would have been easy to grab something to fix at home for a quiet night in after a long day hiking and exploring. We loved watching the cows out the window.

Wonderful stay at William and Joanne's. Everything you'd want from a host and a place. They were so friendly and accommodating, really went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay memorable. The place is clean and comfy and the spot is truly beautiful. Very happy we stayed here.

My group of 6 stayed at Zahra's place for two nights, and it was in the perfect location for everything Galway offers! Conveniently right by the Spanish Arch and Quarter, we could explore the hot spots and walk to other neighborhoods with ease. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the city for a couple of nights, if not longer. Thank you for a great stay!

Great spot for me and my family to visit Galway. Quiet area with a great cafe just around the corner. Max was incredibly friendly and the book of suggestions and brochures was a nice touch. He even set up a high chair for our little one and offered a baby cot (we had one already with us). Thanks Max!

Danny's condo is very well laid out and the trails to walk along from his garden were amazing, a particular hit for our two dachshunds running up the hills with us. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice cozy base for exploring the area and will be back when we are next in the area.

Ann's apartment was easy to find, self check in meant there were no time constraints. The apartment and all contents were new and spotless. Ann had freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, tea, coffee and all the condiments we needed to feel right at home. We had the best nights sleep. Situated in walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and pubs. Would highly recommend a stay here, we will back. 5 stars all the way.

Michelle's place was absolutely fabulous! We stayed for two nights. When we first arrived the place was warm and smelt lovely. There was fresh scones with butter and jam on arrival which is always a nice touch. The place itself was very clean and cosy, absolutely perfect for us. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. The bed was super comfy too. The location was absolutely ideal, less than a five minute drive into the town and was nice and peaceful. Michelle was very attentive and made sure everything was okay for our stay. I would highly reccomend to stay here and if I'm ever back in Clifden again I'll definitely return here!

Damian was a super host, welcoming and kind, he provided us with all the useful information to visit the area. The house is very beautiful, well-kept and equipped with everything you need. The location is its strong point, admiring Benbulbin from the window is spectacular! We only stayed two nights but we would have liked to spend more time in this wonderful place. Highly recommended!

Lovely place a few minutes walk to a handful of great pubs and restaurants. Apartment was clean and well stocked with extra towels, etc. Great communication from Fiona prior to our stay which included lots of useful suggestions on things to do and places to see in the area.

Had such an amazing time in this house. The house was so clean and modern Ann the host had left of some fresh milk and oranges to make fresh oranges juice and plenty of things if you wanted to cook she had also left some leaflets for things to do and how to get to them had such a lovely stay the host Ann was so welcoming and friendly would recommend staying in this spot

Even bigger then the pictures depicted it! Brigitta brough us salad from her garden and was there for us everytime we needed. Great host and great accommodation. 10/10 would recommend :)

Fantastic stay for our 4 days in Killarney. Hosts were amazing and the space was huge and perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). The kitchen was wonderfully appointed (better than ours back home!) and allowed us to cook several meals at "home" which was very helpful. The kids LOVED the dogs, too! The location was perfect, just minutes from the Gap of Dunloe and maybe 12 minutes from Killarney Town. Laundry room was very welcome and perfect for the midpoint of our road trip around Ireland. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

The location is perfect for a quiet getaway. Right next to a beach and away from everything. Sean popped down and said hello when we landed and was sound out. I will book in again if ever heading this direction

Immaculate flat (or really half of a cottage) right on Lough Derg and 5 minutes walk from the lovely town of Mountshannon. Very comfortable, lovely views, gorgeous light. Aisling was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful bank holiday weekend and would love to go back. Highly recommend the Birchwood Sauna parked nearby, the Berrytree Cafe and the Snug pizzeria in town. Note that Keane's pub only takes cash and your nearest ATM is in Scariff. Also, if you want to cook for yourself the nearest sizeable grocery store is in Portumna. Essentials can be bought in the Gala in Mountshannon or in nearby Scariff.
