Horsebox & Sauna River Beach Glendalough Ireland

An Capall (meaning Horse in Irish language) is a beautifully converted Horse Lorry currently out to grass overlooking a meandering river, nestled near Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains. Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed deck plus single bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. In addition you can book a private Finnish Sauna & River Plunge experience in our River Hot Box, converted horse box (at an extra charge).

The Horrrsebox Tinyhouse

Adults Only. You'll love this unique, quiet & romantic escape with private Hot-tub. A vintage horse trailor restored into a modern day Tinyhouse with en-suite bathroom & kitchenette complete with Microwave, Kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, charcoal bbq outside with views across the countryside. Located on a quiet country road with a local pub 6 minutes walk away serving food. Local village 5 minutes drive. 10 minutes drive from Trim castle & many more other heritage sites nearby. Iris Cottage is just an hour from Dublin and 15 mins from kells with holistic treatments available such as reflexology, massages or even try a seaweed bath to help you unwind.
