This is a simple cabin-home is located 7 miles up from the Colorado river on Sweetwater Creek. Three more miles up the road is Sweetwater Lake and the jump off area for the White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness area. Glenwood Springs is 32 miles down creek/river. Great access to hiking, floating, biking (Glenwood Canyon) and hunting, or best yet relaxing next to a beautiful creek. Brink's Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake has horses and guides for riding.

Hidden Valley Tiny Home at Trail and Hitch

We stayed at the trail and hitch park fur nearly 3 months. We've stayed at 2 different tiny homes, this one and another Calle Sage Hills. Both are lovely! This particular one has solid wooden stairs (instead of a ladder) which makes coming down and going up to the loft easier, especially if one has knee issues. The tiny home is very cute and cozy. We love it when it rained and then snowed in November, it was a winter wonderland! Fire rings are provided and outdoor picnic tables which we used often when the weather was warmer. Laundry room is clean and has 2 washers and 2 dryers. There are public restrooms too with hot showers. Everyone in the office is very friendly and responsive. Living there for 3 months, I received multiple mail and packages and they always delivered it to me, which I really appreciate. Pet friendly, doggy duty bags are provided, be a good citizen and pick up after your pet! Overall a great cost friendly stay, look forward to coming back! Thank you!

For an older motel, this room was incredibly clean, like super, super clean! The mattress was comfortable, the sheets soft and the pillows just right. There were plenty of fresh towels and washcloths and they smelled amazing. There was nothing musty about this room at all! Air conditioner worked great and we were comfortable all night. We were greated by the neighborhood cat and took that as a good omen. Lol Really easy to find and check in. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.

This was the most beautiful stay we have had yet. What a wonderful way to spend a birthday weekend away from the world! The pictures were beautiful but somehow did not do the view justice, it was jaw dropping once you stand on that porch. I’ve never stayed at an Airbnb that was stocked with everything you could need and more! If you’re planning on fishing, I would go in the later summer months when the river is less high. We were still able to catch some trout in the ponds close by. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!

If you’re looking for a little slice of heaven you have just found it. Such peaceful surroundings and the home is just lovely. Shannon knows how to take care of her guests. We really enjoyed sitting on both the back and front patios on the return of our ATV adventures. Comfortable beds, well stocked cabinets and plenty of room. We will return!!

Lauren was a great host and felt right at home in her place. Check in was easy and she had it ready before check in. It was very clean and had lots of amenities. Stores are walking distance and we had our private entrance would reconsider staying again when visiting.
