Cottage holiday rentals in Riera de Merlès

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home, Jordi was incredibly helpful and friendly making us feel welcome. The house is set in the most stunning location, surrounded by peaceful woodlands and a huge garden with a lovely large pool — perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. One of the highlights for us was spotting the striking Hoopoe flying through the garden. The house itself is spacious, airy, and thoughtfully designed, blending beautifully with the local surroundings. It’s ideal for two families, with two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, and two more bedrooms upstairs that sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom. We also loved the large games room & outdoor table tennis, which kept everyone entertained. Jordi provided great restaurant recommendations, and we enjoyed exploring some incredible spots in Girona. But honestly, most evenings we were more than happy dining on the outdoor using the large brick-built BBQ and soaking up the peaceful atmostphere

Clara and Gerard place was amazing, few days away in beautiful surrounding's it was a perfect holiday for me! Property well secured, and my two German shepherd's dogs could run free. Cosy bedrooms and comfortable beds, I haven't slept that well in weeks ! Great local restaurant Mas el Pi.

Everything was super good - we spent a week with the family. There are lots of games for the kids and nice hikes next to the house

Cal Miret is a beautiful, very spacious and fully equipped. The views are superlative, having a heated pool is amazing and the deal and communication was great. We would recommend the house without having to think about it twice, it is in fact we would love to come back there soon. A special thank you to Maria for being such a good host, helping us and caring for us to have a good weekend.

The area is incredibly quiet, lots of green and disconnected. Nearby there are routes to walk or bike. The house is very comfortable and equipped kitchen as if you were at home. We were two couples and were comfortable at all times. Montse was very attentive. Thank you so much, we had a great time.

We went in with my mom and my brother's nuclear family. We wanted quality days together without disturbing anyone (and vice versa). We were great because it is a quiet area, with paths to walk. What the kids enjoyed the most was the pool. We really liked the porch where the barbecue is and personally I really appreciated the shade of the big fig tree at the entrance, where I spent the little times I had free reading. Abel was very kind at all times. We don't need to contact him very much, but when we did he answered us very quickly and looked after us great. He's a great host. Also, the detail it puts upon entering the farmhouse is to be appreciated.

Simply an exceptional house in a wonderful location, everything was impeccable and both Meri and Raul were charming and very willing to make our experience magnificent, a 10! :)

The desire to keep this little corner of paradise to oneself, and at the same time, be just as kind as Neus. As a yoga teacher, I organized a workshop in this heavenly place. Upon arrival, we were captivated... yes, that's the word... by this secluded property, while being 5 minutes by car from the center of Angles, where you will find a supermarket and other shops. My yogis told me: You found us, a real gem... We stayed there for 4 days and didn't want to go anywhere else because we were so happy there. A small, beautifully decorated, two-story dollhouse. Inside, it was a little tight for 6 people to eat, but the sun allowed us to have our meals in various corners of the park, depending on the time of day. Neus, rents out extra rooms, in her beautiful house next door, if needed. Flowers, birds, calm, the space, a swimming pool. Neus is also adorable. Great bedding, super clean. A perfect stay! Clean, great location, beautiful views over the town, and so good for kids too - our 3 year old son loved spotting cows from the living room window! And the play area outside and playroom with the toys were a huge hit! We’d love to go back one day… Would definitely recommend! Thank you Marta and Oriol!

We had a great three days, the house was beautiful, there was everything to be comfortable and like home. If I had to put a hit, it would be that in the loft room I would put some curtains since it comes in a lot of sun in the morning, but otherwise everything was perfect, the location, the host and the amenities that the house offered. We will surely repeat.

⸻ We had an exceptional weekend between girls in Maria's country house. Everything was perfectly as advertised. One of the best airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Private little cabin on the mountain side with the only company being the local cows, great little outdoor cooking space for an open charcoal grill. Amazing landscape with plenty of hikes and activities minutes away

One of the most amazing places we've visited. The house is spectacular and the views are breathtaking. We were a group of friends and we all ended up feeling very good and unwilling to come back. It was a great experience and I'm sure we'll be back.

An atypical cottage located in the heart of a natural area, with breathtaking views of the Canigou massif. Access is worth it, but the setting is worth it! The interior design is very cozy, conducive to relaxation. We had no water or electricity problems following Fanny's recommendations. Unforgettable memories to share!

It's been a great stay. We had a great time and the accommodation of 10. We do not have any complaints but I will make paragraph on 2 points that I would have liked to know before going (only to be informed). As feedback: 1- The shower has “trick”, but we were already told that they have to work in it. If they explain it to you, no problem. 2- I recommend to introduce you to the neighbor during the day, since if you see her at night through the patio without knowing who it is you can scare you (as it happened to us, although it has been like a fun anecdote to tell). As I say space of 10 and attention of 10.

This place is magic! A peaceful and absulutely beautiful place, surrrounded by endless hiking routes and pittoresque french villages. The house has a rustic and rugged charm, the bathroom is tiny, and the stairs are steep, but it had all the peacefullness I needed. I hope I can visit again some time!

We spent a couple of days at the farmhouse and we couldn't have been better. The location of the house and the house itself are amazing. In addition, Oriol is very kind and was very helpful at all times. I would recommend it 100%
