I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

Excellent séjour à plusieurs en famille avec enfants. Le domaine est magnifique et bien entretenu, les piscines sont agréables pour se refroidir en période de canicule. L’hospitalité est parfaite. le prix en saison peut peut être faire peur initialement mais la maison, le domaine et la gentillesse des employés le justifie. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir! Schön eingerichtetes, sauberes Haus mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Lage ist äußerst ruhig sodass man das Gefühl hat das einzige Haus im Umkreis zu sein. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool groß genug zum Schwimmen. Die Kommunikation mit Carla gestaltet sich unkompliziert und freundlich, wir hatten jederzeit das Gefühl uns bei Problemen an sie wenden zu können. Wir haben jede Sekunde genossen und es gibt nicht das Geringste auszusetzen. Sollten wir uns wieder für Portugal entscheiden wird die Unterkunft und Carla wieder unsere erste Wahl sein.

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. Excelente estadia. Uma quinta com um magnífico e muito bem cuidado espaço exterior. Um anfitrião, Sr. Rui que se esforça para que a nossa estadia seja o mais graticante possvel. A Sónia que tudo faz para que nos sintamos em casa, que nos prepara excelentes e variados pequenos almoços. O Alpha que brincou com a nossa Leia. Quinta bem localizada para passear pelo Gerês e excelente para descansar e carregar baterias. Local a regressar.

Estadia incrível com uma anfitriã ainda mais incrível 🥹 Tenho de destacar a simpatia e disponibilidade da Inês do início ao fim. O espaço é exatamente o que promete: calmo, relaxante e único! Com muitos recantos para descobrir, animais simpáticos, piscina incrível e natureza em estado puro! Não encontrávamos um espaço que permitisse entrada do nosso cão na piscina e a Quinta da Emília permitiu e fez com que a experiência do Joca fosse ainda melhor! Além disto, ainda pudemos receber família, incluindo o nosso afilhado de 2 anos, que também tirou bastante proveito de tudo o que a quinta tem para oferecer 😊 ahh! Ainda "roubamos" uns pêssegos para trazer de recordação 🤭 Foi incrível e recomendamos muito!!! 😁 Um obrigado gigante à Inês ❤️

Adorámos a casa e espaço. As fotos não fazem justiça à casa. Excelente espaço para o cão estar no exterior solto. Tivemos privacidade total. Bons trilhos e paisagens à volta para passear. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos proprietários! Iremos voltar certamente.

This place ought to be officially recognized as a national treasure! The house and grounds are full of historic charm and the scenery is spectacular. The farm fresh breakfast was truly impressive and the hospitality was top notch. We stayed for two nights but would have been very happy to have stayed for an entire week if our schedule had allowed for it. Many thanks to the owners for creating such a wonderful guest house and for the warm welcome and great sightseeing tips. It was the highlight of our trip from Canada.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

A serene, calming place to stay in the Douro Valley. The home is spacious, well kept, and charming. We faced some challenges on this trip, and Anabela was so kind and understanding, always responding and offering helpful suggestions and advice. The fresh bread delivery and treats waiting for us made everything better. The backyard was a highlight for the kids. The pool was a little chilly for us in early June, but the weather started getting hotter as left, so I’m sure it would be comfortable in the later part of the season. We had a wonderful stay!

One of the highlights was dinner prepared by Jet and Ronald. I highly recommend this as part of the experience. We shared an amazing meal with other guests, and there was a lot of info from Ron about the local wines from the region. I missed out on Jet’s breakfast, but heard amazing things from the other guests in another studio at the property. Great place and great people.

O alojamento é muito acolhedor, rodeado de natureza, animais e tranquilidade, o que faz com que seja o local perfeito para descomprimir do stress do dia a dia.

Ótimo local para relaxar e abrandar. Pequeno, com o essencial e o básico, sem faltar nada. Ar condicionado a funcionar na perfeição, tudo muito limpo. Anfitrião sempre preocupado e responsivo às nossas questões. Adoramos tudo e queremos voltar.

Os anfitriões Antônio e a Nina foram de simpatia e disponibilidade extrema, atenderam os nossos pedidos e recomendaram-nos sítios e actividades ali perto. Nunca foram intrusivos e sentimo-nos imediatamente em casa e muito à vontade. O espaço envolvente tem grande beleza natural e é muito tranquilo. A casinha onde ficamos é confortável e com uma janela panorâmica maravilhosa, tem todos os utensílios indispensáveis para se poder preparar refeições e relaxar. Espaço charmoso que vale a pena visitar. Recomendamos levar o necessário para confecção de refeições porque os espaço convida a ficar. Se optarem sair para almoçar ou jantar fora recomendamos o restaurante MAT em Cabeçeiras de Basto.

Reservámos o espaço para passarmos a Passagem de Ano entre amigos, e levámos dois cães. A zona é lindíssima e a recepção foi maravilhosa. A Cristiana e a sua família trataram-nos super bem, e fizeram questão de nos deixar à vontade, tendo estado sempre disponíveis para ajudar com o que fosse necessário. Os dias estavam frios, mas deixaram nos imensa lenha o que permitiu que a casa estivesse sempre quentinha. Na véspera da passagem de ano foram deixar-nos mais vinho e um bolo acabado de fazer. A casa estava super limpa e tinha tudo o que era necessário. Ficámos com muita vontade de voltar, obrigada por tudo!

très bon logement, facile d'accès, très belle vue, très propre, les chiens sont très gentils et ne vous embêtent pas. la climatisation fonctionne très bien. l'hôte est très disponible pour répondre aux questions. ce fut une super expérience !

Excellent séjour avec mon équipe. Nous avons installé notre maison et notre bureau pendant 15 jours dans cette maison très accueillante. Les divers espaces qu'elle propose nous ont permis de cuisiner, travailler et se divertir ensemble. On remarquera une belle cheminée qui rend l'espace très agréable. L'environnement est simplement très beau et relaxant. Les vieilles pierres, les petits chats, les oranges, la bbq, la téle tout étail là pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Un mot également pour Natalia, notre hôte, qui a su être toujours à l'écoute et avec qui le contact est super facile et amical.

Très bel environnement pour se prélasser en famille au calme, logement fonctionnel, une vue incroyable, petit village très agréable, paisible et charmant. Nous recommandons sans hésiter la Quinta do Tapadinho ! De très belles randonnées à faire autour, mais oubliez le vélo, c'est très escarpé ! Le boulanger passe même à domicile le matin ;) Perfecto 👍🏽
