What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

If you're reading the reviews to convince yourself whether or not to choose this Airbnb... look no further!! I'm telling you: GO FOR IT! This place is amazing, everything is perfect. So many things available, in a beautiful setting like this. It feels good! It feels like home. Honestly, it's a little slice of heaven. Go there without a second thought!

The house was very well equipped with everything you need. Also, many small, useful things were available. We didn't miss anything. The view from the house is truly unparalleled.

We had the chance to spend a weekend with friends at Dominique's place and we're more than happy! The place is really great, the location is really great and there is enough parking. Dominique is a really great host, he was incredibly kind. We're already thinking about coming back with our families!

William, thank you for letting us use your house. We had a wonderful time, but that was already evident from the extra night we wanted to stay. We are still enjoying the house and the surroundings and tomorrow, 10:00 a.m., we will unfortunately be leaving. Definitely recommended or a reason to come back

Great stay in a wonderful setting. The directions are numerous and accurate, the house is well supplied with equipment, very pleasant and the view is splendid!

Chantal and Michel are very friendly, available and very caring hosts. The accommodation is very clean and quiet and the bedding is good and the garden is very nice. The region is beautiful and there are many walks to do. Looking forward to returning to this beautiful region to stay with Chantal and Michel of course 😊

Enjoy your stay with friends. Make good use of Waze for the route. 😄 A place conducive to calm and rest. Walks and hikes nearby (be careful, it's uphill!!!) Multiple games planned on site (petanque, darts, foosball, ping pong, etc.). Nordic bath and sauna very popular. Very spacious dining room and meals... Comfortable bedding, although some beds could be a little firmer 😊

Dominique's accommodation exceeded all expectations! From a warm welcome and patience with us as well as our dog, to welcome gifts and an AIRBNB that is even more beautiful, larger and better equipped than in the pictures, to a huge pool with a breathtaking view and atmosphere. Dominique responded quickly to all our messages and was a reliable contact for all our concerns. Absolute recommendation !!! We'll be back 😊

Stayed with my wife and 8 month old daughter for three nights in La Suite and honestly couldn’t fault it. Dominique, Rémy and Felix were very responsive, kind and made us feel very welcome. Dominique’s breakfast delivery each morning was amazing (thank you!) and we also enjoyed a wine tasting at the Passot’s beautiful vineyard - Felix was great. It’s very clear family is important and everyone works very hard. The wine was also delicious and we appreciated the welcome bottles in the apartment. We’ve been travelling around France for a month and so glad we chose Chiroubles and La Suite.! Thank you for a great stay. Anne Marie was a great host. The place is amazing, having an incredible view and loads of room in the backyard and front yard to relax. Anne Marie is extremely friendly, super quick to respond and very helpful. Her pets are adorable and also very friendly. Overall, a great stay and an absolute recommendation if you're looking for a place to relax or go to Lyon! Thank you for having us ❤️

Unsurprisingly, the place is as we expected. The description is totally accurate, the change of scenery is total. The comfort is still there and it's very pleasant. Welcoming and responsive host. Do it without hesitation!

We took the accommodation for one night with 11 friends, and we were not disappointed! The place is beautiful, quiet, with a view of the mountains, in addition to a swimming pool and a jacuzzi that allow you to enjoy the view even more quietly. The interior is great, there is space and it is clean. Have fun with the petanque court, ping pong table, pool, foosball etc... Very happy to have chosen this accommodation, I recommend Sébastien's house without hesitation! ;)

Léa was friendly, efficient and flexible, and I would like to see everyone in this field be like her! The accommodation, the environment and the neighborhood were what we remembered most from this stay! Very beautiful view and place with a faithfulness to the description on the site, easy to access and pleasant. I recommend this place and this host to everyone. We had a beautiful 5 day stay at La Chapelle. This place is unique!

Alison and Costas are a dream team. Excellent hosts with a beautiful chateau for you to enjoy. Aline is great too. You’ll have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great food and activity recommendations in the booklet. Be sure to visit all the markets you can, and try and eat at Le Flores- which was the perfect lazy lunch venue.

A haven of peace tastefully decorated. We would have stayed 2/3 more years… The place and the environment are sumptuous. He will see us again soon for sure. If you need a return to the roots, peace and calm, this is the perfect place. Anyway... Wonderful.

We loved our stay here! If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful environment but with cosy villages nearby, don’t hesitate. The accommodation is exactly as described, and has everything you need. The hosts are wonderful, easy to communicate with, and have great recommendations to explore the surrounding area (hikes, restaurants, activities). We wholeheartedly recommend and would not hesitate to come back.

We had a lovely few days, a beautiful peaceful place and stay, surrounded by forrest walks and Carina’s friendly animal friends!

The house was small but incredibly functional — it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Thoughtfully equipped and very well maintained. The location was also great: just a short walk to the railway and bus stations, with shops and a market nearby. The lake was only about 10 minutes away on foot, which made for lovely walks. Perfect for a short or solo stay!

A beautiful place to stay in the mountains surrounded by nature. Complete privacy, stylish furnishings. The fire was already prepared in the oven. Everything very cozy. Our highlight was Bart the Ridgeback dog, who picked up our dog several times a day to play on the property or in the forest. We will be back!
