Ty Canol is very comfortable and well appointed. It's an old stone cottage with a small mature garden. five minutes walk from the sea. We felt at home straight away.

We wanted an isolated rural retreat for a week and got exactly that. Fully equipped for outdoor and indoor activities, great hot tub, loads of space. Peaceful, beautiful and only 20 mins in the car to Llandrindod Wells for supplies. Great walks. Dogs loved it. Our Family enjoyed everything. When we needed to contact the hosts on a couple of occasions they responded within a couple of minutes. Fab games room in the loft. Huge comfy beds and the most amazing logburner.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Trish’s beautiful cottage nestled among the hills. The house itself was stunning, featuring charming wooden interiors and thoughtful design throughout. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Trish and Ian were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. They gave us great recommendations for scenic walks with breathtaking mountain views. They even took the time to show us their other nearby properties, which were equally impressive - especially the one with the huge, cozy fireplace and beautiful architecture. One of the highlights of our trip was spending time with the lovely farm animals especially Jerry the pony, who absolutely stole our hearts! We also met some friendly chickens and George, their lovable dog. For those who prefer not to interact with animals, there’s no pressure but our group of four loved the experience and were grateful to be allowed to meet them. Highly recommend this beautiful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the barn. Lots of room for us, a family of six adults. Comfy beds, great shower with lots of hot water for us all to shower after being on the river all day. Kitchen was very well equipped too. Would definitely come back.

We were so lucky to stay in this beautiful cottage for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — Ellie was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, leaving us lovely cakes to enjoy on arrival. The cottage (and its surroundings) is full of charm and just as whimsical as the pictures suggest. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time together. We also enjoyed the easy drives into Ludlow, Leominster, Tenbury Wells and local walks. We can’t thank Ellie enough for creating such a beautiful, memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back one day!

This air bnb is absolutely stunning, the photos don’t do it justice! We instantly fell in love with how beautiful this house is and could have stayed forever! The house was spotless, the area was peaceful, with lots of local walks and adventures to be had! This was the perfect stay for my husband and I for our honeymoon (along with our two dogs who also loved it!)

Comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a quiet location. Well placed for exploring Hay and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

nice little place, we only stayed one night whilst travelling home from south Wales, very friendly host, I asked of we could check in early and she said we could check in whenever we wanted as it was ready to go.

Wow - this was by far the best “hot tub” break we have been on and we have been on a few. The dome is so unique. You have the luxury of a full kitchen and bathroom, electricity and WIFI coupled with the secluded rustic countryside setting. There is so much open space around the dome with no one else around. The pond is amazing and we went paddle boarding/canoeing everyday using the equipment kindly provided. There is a wood burner in side the dome and a fire pit outside with plenty of wood supplied free of charge. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough!

The snug little pods are a perfect place to stay, overlooking open dales with sheep and cows, ducks swimming on pond right outside. Michiala could not have been more welcoming and helpful. we had all the peace and quiet we needed but she was always ready to assist as soon as we needed anything. Her cats and dogs were as friendly as Michaela herself. our neighbours in the other pod were super friendly too ..but with two bathrooms and a perfectly equipped little kitchen between us it never felt crowded. we loved being able to bring our own bedding because we don't like thick duvets, this meant we slept really well and felt absolutely at home.

Me and my partner went with the dog, we had one of the best times in this spot, really relaxing to be at the pod and then travelling around the villages was lots of fun. Was always nice to come back to the lovely pod! The kitchen had everything you needed as well

Fabulous location for anyone looking to stay in the peaceful countryside while still able to access a beautiful town. Lovely accommodation which is really spacious.

Couldn't have picked anywhere better

We had a wonderful stay at Swyn-Y-Mor. Derek was a brilliant host, really friendly and always around in case we needed anything. The house itself is beautifully furnished with everything you could ever need, and it has amazing views all the way to Llangennith beach from the living/dining area. The location of the house is also great: walking distance from Llangennith/Rhossili bay, and down the road from a lovely pub. There are plenty of walks and other beaches a short drive away. We enjoyed dips in the pool and barbecues on the terrace whilst admiring the surrounding countryside. There is even a hot outdoor shower on the terrace which was such a treat after an afternoon surfing in the chilly sea! We will definitely be returning in the future!

We had a wonderful weekend. Richard was a considerate host and very flexible when we were running late for check-in. The house and surrounding countryside were both beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We were a group of 4 couples, 4 infants, a toddler and a dog, so it could have been chaos. However, the whole stay was very easy and stress-free as all needs were met. The check-in was very thorough so we understood the quirks of the building. We would definitely stay again. The shepherds hut and location is truly amazing. The garden completely secure for our Labrador. Beautiful walk 2 fields away through the nature reserve / forest. Host was warm, friendly and welcoming and the hut was equipped with everything needed. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Thank you, I definitely recommend.

I was very fortunate to secure this apartment for a night at short notice. Top quality accommodation- spacious, well equipped, nicely furnished and clean. Rhayader is a busy place and I know that some accommodation there can suffer from traffic noise but no such problem with this accommodation even though it's just off one of the main streets and conveniently across the road from the Co-op. Highly recommended.

Nami was a wonderful host. She accommodated our (indoor) cats upfront and when we added on my sister and brother-in-law she was super quick to respond and said it was no problem at all. The neighbourhood was really quite and super close by our family members, who were able to come over Christmas morning briefly before we all headed out to the main event. We would definitely stay here again in future.

Wonderful stay with friends for special birthday. Property is in a stunning location. Beautiful views and sooo peaceful. Ultra clean property, all bedding and towels smelt lovely too. Very well equipped and had everything we could have wanted. Hosts were fabulous and super friendly. Everything has been thought of including a stay with a dog where there was everything we needed and way more! In addition the welcome cake and essentials were much appreciated. Will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend. This was a great find and made our stay extra special.

This was a magical find. We loved the little welcome touches - eggs, bread and Welsh cakes. We immediately felt welcome and at home. And we loved the animals - horses, goats, sheep, rabbits and chickens. We didn’t want to leave! This was the perfect home from home for our start on the Glyndwr Way. Many thanks Lawrie and Sally. We had a great stay at the barn; it was easy to find thanks to the directions provided by Kirstie & what 3 words. The accommodation felt luxurious & finished to a high standard. It was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is so peaceful, with wonderful views. We really appreciated having access to the farm land for walks - it was perfect for the dog as we could pop out into the fields whenever we liked. We really enjoyed meeting the donkeys and the horses, they were a particular highlight! Not an exaggeration to say it was the best Airbnb that I've stayed in & we'll definitely be back :)

Overall a great stay. Suzanne is friendly and very responsive when contacted. The cottage is 2miles out of town so handy for restaurants and shops but far enough away to be very peaceful in its secluded location. Useful double garage to store bikes in too. The elan valley in spectacular with excellent cycling walking routes all nearby.
