Cottage holiday rentals in Renfrew

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Thanks for a great stay. We had everything we needed in the house with wonderful access to a lovely sandy beach. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards to explore the expansive shoreline. The location is near some walking trails in the woods which our dog really enjoyed. The cottage was adjacent a public beach which was busy on the weekends, however nice and siren on the weekdays to sit and watch the sunrise. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

Amazing Waterfront Property and with various types of boats and Kayaks. The Hot-Tub and Sauna was a really cool combo. We as a group of 8 could comfortably enjoy and stay the night with good amount of car parking. The Fire place area facing the docks and water was amazing during sunsets with Plenty of seating available. It felt private and quiet. Definitely Kayaking is worth it when going further down the water. Everything was clean and Organized when we showed up. The kitchen had loads of dishes, utensils, Pots & Pan for cooking. Dishwasher came in handy with a big group. Marcin is a good host who explained everything in details and even was very flexible on Timings. Would definitely recommend this to anyone as this Cabin has a lot more to offer than it seems:)

It was a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Having a hot tub and fire pit by the water was great.

This was my second time at Rebecca's place. As always it was clean, well stocked, and so incredibly peaceful. You cannot beat the views and the walk out sandy beach. I always feel right at home there. The beds are so comfy, the couch is nap worthy, and I could sit outside in an Adirondack chair and read all day long. Thank you Rebecca for the lovely accommodations. Highly recommend!

The cottage was exactly as pictured. Many different things to do at this location - from taking out the canoe to staying inside and playing games. Used this location for a family barbeque and everyone had a spot to sit and eat.

Wonderful weekend in a beautiful area. Everything is exactly as described and the sauna is so easy to use. Really enjoyed our time and we will be back again.

I spent a weekend at Talia's place with my dogs to get away while my husband was on a work trip. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, very spacious with wonderful outdoor and water access and amenities. Although it was just me and my dogs, I could picture having a blast with friends and family, as there were many games and activity options in and around the house. Will go back for sure!

This was a great stay! Hosts were very responsive and the place is just beautiful. They welcomed my group with a bottle of champange and a nice message for my birthday! The hot tub is a great addition as well as the outdoor shower. It is very modern and a very well kept property. We had an amazing weekend celebrating my dad's 70th birthday at this beautiful, secluded property! Hershel was super friendly and communicative from booking through check-out, even giving us great local recommendations when we arrived early. The place was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—towels, linens, kitchen and BBQ supplies, toiletries, WiFi, and even a TV (though we didn’t need it!). We loved the private river for fishing, the sauna, fire pit, trails, and the stunning views. The check-in guide and house manual were clear and helpful, making everything easy to navigate, and the check-out process was stress-free. A welcome bottle of wine was also such a thoughtful touch! There was so much to do in and around the property, and though we drove three hours to get there, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat surrounded by nature. Thank you Hershel and Tiferet for an unforgettable getaway!

This is a beautiful cottage. The lake access is the real highlight and the hosts have really leaned into this providing lots of opportunities for water recreation, including a good sized dock, multiple kinds of boats (kayaks, a canoe, a peddle boat, and paddle boards), and a large floaty that acts as a second dock. Speakers at the waters edge were a nice touch! The hosts were also great. Very responsive and friendly, and proactively reached out to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The cottage itself isn’t huge if you plan to spend the majority of your time inside, but this wasn’t an issue for us as we spent the majority of our time by the water. It was big enough to fit 10 around the dining table for meals and games. All in all, it was a great experience.

John’s place is excellent! It’s really well kept and thoughtfully set up for essentials and everything in between. It’s a beautiful location- the private dock by the lake was the highlight of our trip. We stayed for 3 nights and we wished we had it longer. We miss it already and would love to be back.

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

We had a great stay! Nick was a very helpful and responsive host. The cottage was very clean and well-equipped, it was the perfect spot for our family get away. The skiing at Calabogie Peaks was great and we enjoyed some great meals at the local restaurants. We hope to return again next year!
