The remodelled side house of Papenwohld is a unique house that provides perfect condition for a relaxing getaway in nature or a creative retreat. The old romantic, sun flooded house offers diverse use from individuals to large creative groups or families. Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

That Danewerkhuus

Our Danewerkhuus is located in a quiet side street in Dannewerk. On a total size of about 150 square meters (ground floor, upper floor), there is a fully equipped kitchen, combined dining/living area (TV with Blu-ray player) with fireplace and access to the 25 square meter upper terrace on the ground floor. In the basement is our great, new Viking grotto with TV and electronic darts for a cozy get-together, a small guest toilet and ground-level access to our large, covered patio.

It offers an outdoor hot tub, shower with nature view, steam sauna, wood-burning stove, terrace, XXL couch and super king size bed, fully equipped kitchen, ice maker, Bluetooth music system, record player, Wi-Fi, 2 x BBQ area, bicycles, home office, 2 x spa, private cinema, giant swing, fireplace, swimming area, wood chopper and much more. Our idyllic thatched cottage on an organic farm combines rural charm with modern comfort. Unwind in the wood-fired barrel sauna, enjoy meals at a large table for up to 20 guests, and sleep soundly in soft organic cotton under extra-large duvets. Children can explore the farm, while the on-site shop offers organic steak, cheese, and more for relaxed evenings. A peaceful getaway where nature, simplicity, and comfort come together.

Haus Ykaerne

The vacation is ideal for a maximum of six people (4 adults +2 children). You will find a terrace with garden and a roof terrace, all in the heart of Eckernförde, walking distance to the beach and downtown. In the house there are three bedrooms and a spacious living and dining area. In the former garden house there is an infrared sauna and a corner hot tub. The bathroom is a pass-through bathroom, but all doors are lockable.

Lovingly and with care, we have furnished our thatched cottage - in the hope that you and your family and / or friends will feel at home! A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!
