Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

And in the meantime, the children play in their own empire in probably the largest play corner in Saxon Switzerland. In the large living room overlooking almost all directions the sun always shines, in the large bathroom you could dance. In addition, there is the cozy double room "for the parents" with romantic sloping roof - the children's room with 3 single beds and play corner.

On the second floor with many windows, the apartment is friendly, spacious and beautifully bright In the blue bedroom there is a large four-poster bed. The spacious blue and white tiled bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and shower. In the large, cozy living room there are two comfortable couches that can be converted into two single sleeping places in a few simple steps. There is a comfortable hanging chair for chilling and a spacious fireplace corner for cool evenings.

The newly renovated 70sqm apartment is located on the first floor of a house on a hillside in the small village of Schöna, 6km from Bad Schandau, 200m from the forest. Apart from windows and doors, only natural materials were used. It is heated by a stove that can also be used for cooking and baking. In addition, an electric 2-plate cooking hob is available. Take trips to Dresden, the National Park or the neighboring Czech Republic. We will be happy to advise you.
