Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Reid

Thank you for hosting us! Warm, cozy and very private. A little fire pit would have been the icing on the cake!! ( Im not sure if you can have them in the city?) But lovely and comfortable.

The home was even better than the photos!! Large and exactly the amount of beds we needed! Linen and towels were fresh, bathrooms were beautifully designed! Great kitchen! Our family had a wonderful time at Aprils house and we would definitely stay here again when in Canberra! Thank you ☺️

Pancy's accommodation was very clean, modern and quiet. There are 3 flights of stairs. Top being the master bedroom. Middle the double bedroom and ground the kitchen. The garage is in the basement. Location was good. It is close to Canberra Central and walkable to shops. There is a secure carspace which is convenient.

Always love staying at Chris and Ivan's place. They are super responsive and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. We arrived late on the first night, and they turned on the lights and heaters for our arrival - great touch! All amenities you need, the choice of pillows is special. Highly recommend and look forward to staying with them the next time we are down in Canberra!

This place was perfect for our weekend in Canberra. William is proactive, highly responsive and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. The place is in an incredible location, easy walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. The house was clean, beds comfortable and nice and warm when it was cold outside. We chose Mark and Sarah's place for its location and because as 4 adults we need two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Mark greeted us and showed us around the Garden Cottage. The kitchen was modern, clean and well stocked with everything you need for a home away from home. The place was sparkling clean, comfortable beds and quality linen. We asked Mark for a restaurant recommendation, and they sent us to the White Chaco advising that we book which we did. The food was amazing as they suggested. As a tourist to Canberra, it's not something you would find - only the local know about it. The cottage was well airconditioned for a Canberra winter and we were nice and cosy in the cottage. Easy cycling to the lake which is what we wanted. Mark and Sarah were great at communication - they were everything you expect when booking a quality Airbnb. I had a really great stay in Canberra. The Airbnb was spotless, well-kept, and felt very safe—exactly what I was looking for traveling solo. It was in a quiet area but still close to everything I needed, which made getting around super convenient. The host was friendly and helpful, with clear instructions and quick responses. Overall, a comfortable and stress-free experience. I’d definitely book again next time I’m in Canberra!!

Josh and Kate’s Airbnb was so comfy and cosy. It was easy to access and they provided clear instructions for check in and check out. They also put together a great book with personalized recommendations for local eats and things to do. I had a lovely stay!

A stones throw from the war memorial and a 5 minute bike ride to the 28km lake bike ride which was fantastic. Beautiful little place with a great welcome. Elle has promised to investigate a strange odour which is not usual ( possums maybe ) so double check this - but the place was super clean, comfy & all we needed - loved it 🤙

Another lovely stay in Miriam’s beautiful apartment. All the little extra things Miriam does to make a stay in her apartment easy and comfortable are wonderful. Definitely well worth the money. 😄

We enjoyed our stay at this cosy apartment. This apartment is very close to amenities and nearby sightseeings. The views from the balcony and rooftop were fantastic..but it was too cold for us during our stay to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you Robert and Lotus for your comfortable home!

We loved our weekend stay here so much we didn’t want to leave! It’s a fantastic apartment in an awesome location and it’s dog friendly! It had everything we could possibly need and Milo (our border collie) loved people watching from the picture windows in the living room. Aaron and co-hosts were very helpful and always available if needed. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for two nights at Michele's apartment in the Nishi building in Canberra. On arrival, the apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, ideally located, and Michele provided us with detailed and very clear instructions to get settled in. Her guest details are beautifully written into a folder that contains an exhaustive list of relevant info about the unit and about Canberra. The apartment was excellently and generously stocked with breakfast foods and snacks. We have stayed in many AirBnBs in many countries, and this would rank very near to the top. Michele also answered emails quickly and informatively. Overall, our experience contributed positively to our stay in Canberra and has prompted us to return for longer so we can experience the city better. Thanks Michele!

Good neighbour hood to stay in. Far enough away from town without being too far.

Loved our stay at Alastair & Ruth’s apartment. Apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped, with lots of thoughtful extra details (like labels on the light switches and a 2nd set of keys). Apartment is in a great location, walkable to cafes and restaurants in Braddon, as well as into the city centre, while still being very quiet. Ruth was helpful and very responsive to messages. Hope to rebook on our next visit to Canberra 😊

We were coming down for our own conference held at the National Convention Center. This was an exemption location for us as it is really just 10 min walking distance away. It is also very close to other amenities in the city. It was a bit tricky from getting the key to logging into the apartment complex when you are not driving. (still everything is in walking distance, however, not very easy is you are carrying luggage and it is dark). finally worked it out though. Overall, very spacious apartment, feeling host has been putting efforts in getting your stay pleasant. If you ask me will i come and visit again? yes I will. One extra note is the apartment is just 10 mins walk away from Floriade (it is a bonus).

Clean and tidy place, and quiet neighbourhood, great place to stay while in Canberra for a short stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Kingston. The apartment was close to restaurants and all the amenities we required. Even though the apartment was close to everything it was quiet and also very comfortable. We are looking forward to staying there on our next visit to Canberra.
