Dani was so welcoming and helpful, she made sure i had everything i needed. The unit was just fantastic with everything you could possibly need, lots of beautiful touches-big fluffy cushions and towels set out ready for you. Lovely views across the farm to the moutains. Highly reccomend staying with Dani and her family.

Our family stayed for 2 night's and we wished we could of had longer(my daughterwouldhave liked to stay forever hah). The most amazing spot, with beautiful scenery and very peaceful. The cottage was lovely and well set up with all the little details thought of. Katrina was the perfect host with responsive flexible communication. Our stay at view with a room was stellar! Shirley is an extremely thoughtful host. She has everything you could possibly think to need with some very thoughtful touches such as freshly laid eggs that were left for us. The accommodation was impeccably clean and so well thought out. Modern bathroom, nice lighting. Beautiful views in a peaceful and serene setting. We walked at low tide to see the starfish, what a fun adventure! Shirley has a tide chart printed so you can time it just right. We loved our time at view with a room and highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you again Shirley!

We were looking for somewhere isolated, unique and memorable and this place delivered in droves. We wanted an escape and we found an oasis. The views to the mountains changes hour by hour as you sit atop the the highest point for miles around. The property had everything we needed and then some - but it was the outdoors spa that won us over. To sit outside in the warmth of the spa under a blanket of stars was truly remarkable - even better to have that solely to ourselves made it even more special. If you have Mariua Mountain Retreat on your wish list, book it now. If you don't, add it now - you won't regret it. NB: for the faint of heart who might feel daunted by the road up to the house - just follow David's instructions and you'll be fine. We drove a little Toyota Corolla and it made it up with no issues. It's a little bumpy in places, but take your time and you'll be up in no time.
