Holiday rentals with beach access in Redruth

Alison's kind hospitality & welcoming was excellent & the accommodation was stunning & immaculate. If you like a quiet location it's ideal but travelling across Cornwall is no problem as main rd's are accessible from Helston. Alison gave us some good recommendations for restaurants which we tried & were delighted with.

A lovely place to stay in Falmouth with a great location. A short stroll downhill into town but still close to good pubs and restaurants where it is. Beautiful view of the harbour with space to sit outside. Would highly recommend!

As soon as we walked through that door we could see the beautiful sea and we were just in awe of the place. The location is 10/10, the apartment is stunning and so quiet and we didn’t really notice that we had neighbours which was lovely and made it feel private which is what we look for in a place. Cornwall as whole as well is just stunning and we HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking at it. We have found a special place and we will hopefully come back again and again. This is our happy place. We were so sad to leave as we had such a beautiful holiday. A lot of special memories made. The parking was very good, covered and easy to use, self check in is favourable, the checking in and out time is reasonable and the communication was very good. The train is so useful and we actually enjoyed watching that go by, the walking is amazing, the beach is beautiful, the views from the window and patio are amazing. The sofas and bed are very comfortable which is rare. Thank you so much.

My wife and I had a marvelous one week stay in this cosy and tranquil condo with panoramic views of gorgeous Carbis Bay and easy access to public transport, including the local rail service that runs between St Ives and St Erth just five minutes walk downhill. Spotlessly clean and well provisioned, with a huge light filled kitchen featuring newer appliances, and one of the bathrooms conveniently located downstairs. It was such a pleasure staying in a place reflecting pride of ownership and professional management, creating a thoroughly enjoyable guest experience. The master bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for us, but we seem to be the outliers based on reviews. Highly recommend.

The apartment was perfect, exactly as described and pristine, amazing book of local amenities and suggestions which we took full advantage of, the location was incredible, so peaceful and quiet and perfect views of the ocean, really an amazing spot, so glad we found it

All communication was prompt and clear. The location of the flat, in terms of proximity to the station and shops, and as a base for day trips around west Cornwall, couldn't have been better. The flat itself was very clean on arrival, with good facilities. Everything was in good order and well organised. Some small points for consideration - which didn't detract from our overall view but would have made the flat itself even better - were that the duvet was a big too thick for summer sleeping, and would have preferred chairs rather than backless stools at the dining table. Great TV though and really appreciated having the apps available. The only negative is that the communal entrance hall of the house felt a bit scruffy and not up to the high standards of the flat, and if we had the bedroom window open we got the occasional whiff of smoke from the garden or flat below, So we kept the window shut! Overall, though, excellent value and we'd return without hesitation. Thank you.

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed! Deserves more than 5 stars. The location couldn't be better to get straight out to lots of beaches, bars etc. St Ives streets are small and traffic is restricted 930am to 4pm on the street but outside these times we found it easy to unload then booked a parking space 10 mins walk away on JustPark. The view has to be seen, it's even better than it looks... when people stop at the balcony for a picture you know it's the perfect spot - and we helped take a couple of pictures for them from above! The best thing was having a nice glass of wine on the armchairs with the windows open and listening to the waves and watching the change in tides. Spa bathroom was unreal as was everything really. Already looking at dates to come back! We also enjoyed Johns Wine Bar, The Host (had great live music), Mor Beach Cafe for morning rolls and James King for beautiful St Ives jewellery. Thanks again David we loved it all!

Lovely stay at Ems place. Ideal location to get to different areas of Cornwall and a 5 min walk from the shops. Really lovely views, a real treat to be able to look at the sea and at Michael’s mount when having breakfast. Very clean and great amenities. Em herself was very responsive, very friendly and super helpful. Great for the dogs too. Thanks!

Just a perfect week despite the mixed weather. A week of relaxation in beautiful surroundings. Just what we needed

Excellent location and lovely home, very tidy. As from NZ didn’t understand the “knack” with locking the door🫣, this was handled extremely quickly and professionally, and we liked it so much we asked for an extra night. We had a fantastic week in this lovely house. It was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished and very comfortable for a family of four. The hot tub was a hit and great to retreat to after a day out! We fell in love with Porthtowan, which has a fantastic beach, a well stocked village store, exceptional fish and chips and - along with a good cafe and coffee option - a bar overlooking the beach which was perfect for sitting in the sun in the early evening watching the surfers. Our dog enjoyed the beach and the coastal path and the children had lots of fun hiring body boards and having surf lessons at ‘Tris Surf’ which was such a friendly and welcoming place! On the days we tore ourselves away from Porthtowan, we found the rest of south Cornwall very accessible. We would highly recommend this house - Sarah is an exceptional host, providing excellent recommendations for local activities, cafes, restaurants, brewery and farm shop (along with a lovely welcome pack). We will definitely return!

We had a fantastic week in the Old Schoolhouse. It's placed centrally in the village with shops, restaurants, pubs etc all walkable, including easy access to the SW coast path and surrounded by wonderful countryside. The apartment is beautifully kept and spacious - even if rain kept you in you'd be comfortable. We hope we might stay again sometime.

Deborah & Martin's property is every bit as good as the listing promises-it is well designed, beautifully appointed and immaculately maintained throughout. The surroundings are entirely peaceful yet accessible (we saw buzzards, bunnies and bats) and the kitchen is a particular stand out for those of us who like to prepare our own meals on holiday, being both spacious and fully equipped with quality tableware and equipment. Deborah was responsive and attentive from the time of booking to the end of the stay but left us to our own devices. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

Marita is a very friendly, approachable and considerate host. We stayed with our little boy (18 months) and Marita went out of her way to ensure we had the necessities for him as he was the first baby to stay here! The apartment is lovely, the stairs are a little steep inside, but we managed to get our toddler up and down! The views are brilliant and the beach is only a short walk away. We really enjoyed morning walks to the beach and taking our dogs there. The sunsets are beautiful and sitting on the balcony in the sun each evening was absolute bliss. We loved staying here and have fallen in love with Porthtowan! Thank you for being such a wonderful host, Marita! X

My daughter and I stayed for a few days and the apartment was perfect. Great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like the photos. View was beautiful! Has everything you would need. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing few days in St Ives and will definitely be staying at the apartment again in the future.

Great place to stay in you’re in the Falmouth area or if you need a central hub to explore Cornwall! Super clean and well positioned in town with easy access to steps that lead down to the bay and a plentiful assortment of restaurants. Host checked in to make sure our stay was as expected - was very responsive when I had a question about the local offerings. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Falmouth!!

Lovely relaxing break It’s difficult to add anything new to the already fabulous reviews. Beth and Mark made our stay exceptional, their warmth, knowledge and hospitality were in a class of their own. The apartment is just gorgeous, situated in a picturesque spot, overlooking the beach, with beautiful gardens and plants. It is stylish, fresh, clean, comfortable and very homely and they have thought of everything, we really didn’t want for anything. We really hope to have the opportunity to visit and stay again. Thank you. Forgot to say it was my wife’s big birthday and she loved it, so thank you, I’m in the good books again. Best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in.
