Apartment holiday rentals in Rarotonga

What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. My Partner & I had an amazing stay set into the forest of Muri. A tropical island retreat like no other. The amenities were amazing and TV 📺/ Movie choices were Devine 💗. Can not recommend this place and the host more highly! Airport transport was a greatly appreciated and cheap compared too local taxis & transfer services 🙏🏾 Will be returning for a longer stay 😊

This accommodation is in a fantastic location in Muri, set against a lush green mountain backdrop with pigs, chickens, and a rooster adding to the charm. Outside my villa there were workers cutting down two coconut trees, one worker offered to cut open a coconut. What a great local experience. Muri Beach is just across the road, with free use of sun loungers. It’s also very close to the night market and local shops. The villa is brand new, well-equipped with kitchen supplies, offers free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The owners communicated promptly and were very helpful. A truly unforgettable moment happened at the airport—I met the owner, who is also a pilot, and he invited me to sit in the jump seat during the flight to Aitutaki. Watching the landing from the cockpit was a magical and memorable experience, and the highlight of my holiday in the Cook Islands. Thank you!

We had a great 4 night stay at Muri Serene Villa to kick off our Cook Islands holiday. The location was perfect if you’re wanting to be near Muri. At the bottom of the street (being a minutes walk or so) you’ll find a car rental place, the Muri night markets, Tapas, a corner store and a coffee shop. Still within walking distance is the lagoon cruises and the sailing club which is a great view for a happy hour drink. We had flawless internet and crisp cool air conditioning throughout our stay which was a great bonus and needed for those humid days. We found the property clean, tidy with thoughtful finishing touches (towels in the shape of a swan, fresh picked flowers, complimentary fruit platter, tea/coffee/milk/juice and bug spray). Other than the odd ants that are unavoidable we weren’t bothered by other insects/mozzies so had a very comfortable stay. We met the cleaners/gardeners upon arrival who were incredibly friendly, welcoming and kept the cottage immaculate! Meitaki!

Black rock beach was beautiful and super close by. Pool was great to cool off in. Wifi was also very good. Very grateful to be given a late check out

Rose was amazing to deal with, she gave a special deal as booking was done last minute due to other Airbnb not quite up to standard. House is so luxurious, felt like a queen sitting up on the hill overlooking gorgeous Rarotonga with nice cool sea breeze all day and night. Extra special touches like bread, butter & spreads plus pantry basics provided. Washing machine and washing powder also provided absolutely needed as swimming everyday. Plenty of towels are provided. Would highly recommend the Albatross to all my family and friends who visited Rarotonga. Tip: A hire car or scooter is needed due to location and big hills. Saying that I use these hills each morning for exercise which was great cardio.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful piece of paradise. Everything in the studio was very intuitive with everything needed easily accessible. The house was clean and the kitchen was well supplied with appliances etc for cooking. The area was quiet and away from more crowded areas of the island. We enjoyed the easy 10 minute walk down to the beach and local store & resturant in Kavera. Snorkelling off the beach in nearby Aroa was stunning and very calm. Maire was very friendly & so helpful, it was lovely to meet her and hear more about the island.

We had the most amazing time in Rarotonga, Nev was an awesome host, everything was just as it says clean, private & peaceful. Very relaxing lots reading material, the tropical fruit breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect for the best snorkeling/swimming beach & other amenities. Lovely stay in penthouse. Beautiful views and short walk to peaceful beach with loungers. As mentioned in the description, there is a nightly ‘dog chorus’ but that’s not controllable as they seem to be scattered around the island. Overall I would definitely recommend this place- the grounds are well-cared for and the amenities, view and location are fabulous

The first thing I would like to note is the location. The best beach on the island is a 2-minute walk away, you will not find the best places for snorkelling for free, plus there are 2 shops nearby, one of which is open around the clock (5-7 minutes by bike). Within walking distance (3-5 min), there are two places where you can rent a bike or a car. The second is that this apartment has an anti-mosquito screen on all windows and doors. There is a grill in the apartment, which helped a lot, we didn't have to go to restaurants and wait for our orders for hours. I would say the house has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. I can't say that this is a place for complete relaxation, sometimes the neighbours who rent the villa can break the silence, having fun by the pool which is two meters from your door. I will not point this out as a disadvantage, just need to keep it in mind. In conclusion, I want to say that Eve and Brent do a great job of maintaining that place.

We had a lovely stay at Coral Sands . Welcomed with a foot spa with hibiscus flowers at door entry. Clean , great value & location . Nice pool to relax . Easy access to beach. Our family enjoyed our short stay till our next trip to Rarotonga . Will definitely recommend to family & friends . Thank yous

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, modern property. It is well layed out and the bedrooms are very spacious with comfy beds… and ceiling fans too! Would definitely stay here again. Great location, close to town and the airport. Yogi was always contactable and was very swift to get our hot water going again when the gas ran out. Thanks so much! 😊

Very kind and helpful owners, a fabulous beach easy walking distance, we spent a lot of time there. Unit had all that we needed.

We came for a week with our daughters and had a lovely stay. The backyard was great to play in and the beach right there amazing for hunting for shells, coral and hermit crabs. Seeing whales from the deck each day was amazing too!

Great value for a couple. Wonderful location with proximity to Wigmores store, Vaima on the beach and The yellow hibiscus. Also on main road so good access to bus and absolutely beautiful beach right across the road.

Julie and I would like to thank Lotu from the moment I booked the communication was first rate . The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. The pictures don't do justice to how amazing this place is. The ocean views are incredible and getting to hear the waves crashing each day. Best way to start your day with the cool breeze. Nice location where it's close to town, Muri Beach and the amazing Love Cafe. A++ and would stay again 👍🏾

Carlos was a wonderful communicator. Roberto welcomed us so beautifully. Such lovely attention to detail with little flowers everywhere and a welcome card. The kitchen is great. The garden is spectacular. Lots of dvds for the rainy days. Very peaceful. We had my husband and I and our 24 year old daughter, and for us it was a little tiny, as where my daughter’s bed was, it was a little warm; but if it had just been my husband and I it would have been perfect. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home below your own home.

Perfect location for short walk to town, 15-20 mins easy. Big shower (wheelchair friendly) and toilet area, both very clean. Especially grateful that my elderly mother was able to access shower independently. I did have problems with regulating the hot water, but in saying that, Pasha did give clear details of who to contact should I need any help, I didn't, so its on me. Accommodation description was correct in terms of size ie small studio but it catered to our needs and we were very happy and comfortable with it. Mozzies were regular visitors until I lit the coils supplied by Sue and Pasha. Both Sue and Pasha were overly accommodating (so so grateful). Both hosts were overseas when I arrived which wasnt an issue as their clear communication and instructions made it a stress free check in, 5 night stay and check out booking. Would definitely book here again.
