Holiday rentals with a patio in Rappahannock County

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

The F.R.O.G. is a hidden gem that felt like home immediately. The area surrounding it is so beautiful and peaceful, and sunsets could be experienced from the porch. The place has all the amenities for short and long term stays. Lisa and Chris are great hosts with a beautiful property.

The terrace was amazing, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink. The room itself? Furnished to perfection! They really thought of everything, all the amenities you could ask for. And the towels? Plush, like you wouldn't believe. We will definitely be back. I also want to give a shout-out to our host, Joy. She was so responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Really went above and beyond. If you're looking for a place to stay in Culpeper, this is it!"

I stayed at Dustin’s home for almost three weeks. The house is enormous, plenty of space with a well stocked kitchen. His family was an absolute joy to be around. I loved waking up to chickens and saying hello to the goats and rabbits throughout the day. I cannot overstate how breathtakingly beautiful the property and surrounding area is. I will sincerely miss this spot.

Beautiful and comfortable space for an excellent value. Would absolutely stay again! Loved seeing all of the baby farm animals in the morning.

Nice, clean place. Convenient location! Great if you want to fish or spend time on or near the river! Nice covered porch if it’s raining, great fire pit and chairs!

We spent two nights at Lindsey's place in Luray to hike in Shenandoah NP. The location was fantastic, easy walk to restaurants, shops, movies. The apartment had a nice front porch that overlooked the river and greenway path. The house was had two floors and was roomier than we expected. Everything was spotless and the neighborhood was scenic and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I’ve stayed in over 40 airbnbs and this was one of my favorites! Incredibly cozy, well decorated, had every amenity you could possibly need, private, quiet, and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here - you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised by your stay!

A nearly perfect stay - We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb tucked away in the woods near the Shenandoah River. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was impressively well-stocked with everything from cooking essentials to medical supplies and even female hygiene products, which was a thoughtful touch. We did run into a couple of technical issues with the HVAC not cooling and the ceiling fan not working. However, the hosts were incredibly responsive and sent someone out as soon as possible to address it, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a nearly perfect stay, and we’d happily return!

Anna's place is spacious and beautiful, as advertised. I booked it for a weekend with friends and everyone loved it. Anna was friendly and responsive. I would absolutely book it again if I'm back in the area.

I’m pretty sad that I don’t own this house. Pictures don’t it justice, and the pics are incredible. The house, the cows, the coziness….I’ve already shared this house to a few friends! Kayla was very responsive throughout our stay. 5 stars all around!

Our stay at the Sunset Mountain Retreat was wonderful. The property has beautiful views, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed and the house was very clean! We were in the perfect location - got to visit luray caverns, a few trips into the national park, and had delicious meals at triple crown BBQ and west main market (and flotzis for ice cream!) and coal ridge brewery was fun for an early evening activity. Vanessa was a great host with great communication. Worth every penny and I will definitely be booking this house for our next trip to Shenandoah!!

Home was beautiful and as expected. Only downside was cellular service had to really drive out the city to obtain service, but then having WiFi in the home was beneficial and worked well.

Excellent home for a group! Hannah's beautiful mansion had everything we needed for a wedding party group for the weekend. The home sits on top of a hill and has a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home slept 10 with way more space for many additional guests. No complaints about our stay and I would like to thank and commend Hannah for her prompt communication and flexibility with our group!

Great location and responsive hosts! Clean and comfortable! We identified a few maintenance type issues that they are addressing quickly, but nothing that made our stay less enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Erin was a fantastic host—always promptly replied, provided us firewood for the fire pit, and offered us a helpful guide for planning our trip. Great location if you are planning on checking out the Luray Caverns, hiking in the national park, and enjoying some quality community time around the fire or in the hot tub.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!
